Marinette ran as she flew. She was only one mile away from him. She landed with a thud on the snow. She ran through it to where Adrien stood in the snow. She could hear him whimpering. She could hear his weak voice call out, "Marinette, why? Why?"  She moved closer to the sound and gasped. She saw an ice statue that resembled him. She examined it and realized it was him.

    How could this have happened to him? "Adrien, I am here." She said. She stepped as close as she could to him. She did not care if it was colder here. The snow continued to blow hard and fast all around her. She had to get him out of there fast.

    She wrapped her arms around him. She closed her eyes. She whispered, "Adrien, I am sorry.  I should have said it sooner, but I am afraid. I can't be too late. I must not be."

    "Marinette, I-I don't have much time, let me go." Adrien's voice started to fade. Marinette sobbed as she blurted out. "No, You must stay.  Adrien, I love you!" She felt the ice around him start to melt. "I love you!" She shouted it over, and over as she did more of the ice melted until he was thawed out. She kissed him. His lips were all blue.

    "Adrien, can you hear me? Adrien!" Marinette screamed. She picked him up. She made sure to get his bag too. She ran back to the place where their huts stood. She arrived exhausted and chilled.

    "A-Adrien, " she muttered, "You're Ice Cold." She collapsed. Jane saw them and carried Adrien inside first, then got Marinette inside.  She wrapped warm blankets around them both. She had laid Adrien on his bed with Marinette beside him. She felt they both could use the extra body heat.

        She saw them shiver. She saw Marinette hold onto Adrien's left arm. She smiled. Cute, she thought. She made sure a fire was going inside the small fireplace.

      She fed Daisy. Then, washed her hands and prepared a meal. She ate some and offered some to Marinette as she came too. Marinette blushed but ate a small bite of the food. "Adrien," She whispered his name. She kissed his lips and they thawed out next. Adrien woke up and kissed her. He whispered, "Marinette, how?"

   "Adrien, I love you!" Marinette said. Adrien smiled. He knew then she had saved him.  He ate some food.  Then, he pulled her close, "I will love you to the moon and back." Marinette smiled. "I love you."  Marinette felt him holding her in his arms. She blushed as she fell asleep beside him. Adrien thought she was so beautiful, my Marinette, and he fell asleep with his arms around her.

 Jane went back to her hut smiling. She was so happy for them. At last, Marinette admits how she feels, Adrien survives and the lovebirds are asleep.

   Jane pondered, what would happen next with those two. She blushed when she remembered how one of the king's men was sweet on her.  She had no idea if he was still alive, but he was cute. She fell asleep thinking about him.
