I woke up to a warm summer morning and realized that I could see my paws in front of me and I could see my siblings,I heard their names are bend and copper,they looked quite strong compared to what I could see of me.I saw a big Black cat with a blood stained collar with dog teeth,he looked scary so I ran behind my mother but instead of helping me she harshly shoved me towards him as if she didn't like me."Mom!help me !"I squealed as the black cat picked me up and took me out side,the stench from his neck made my nose wrinkle,he dropped me on a rock and said some words and told me to go train with bone.

I cautiously followed a black and white cat through the forest,we stopped in a sandy blood stained clearing.The cat told me to attack him,I did as told with sheathed claws and pawed at his legs,he flung me aside and told me to use unsheathed claws and press harder on his legs.I tried it again,failing each time and getting scowled at each time."Stay put while I get another cat to demonstrate."he said with a cool tone.After what seemed like seasons he came back with a tortoiseshell cat and they showed me their battle moves,I watched until bone had covered the tortoiseshell in hot blood,I watched with moon wide eyes."Try it on me "I prepared to attack him and the moment I pounced he flung me back with a swift swipe of his paw.I realized that I had a deep gash in my shoulder,I limped back to camp with him and he showed me my nest,it was made out of damp grass and my brothers had dry Moss.I tightly curled up in my nest and forced myself to sleep.I had heard stories about the old clans that were killed by blood clan and how they believed in star clan,their ancestors.I woke up in a lush green forest with warm dappled sunlight filtering through the trees,I walked around and hit my paw on a stone yet there was no pain so I must have been sleeping.I whipped around to see a faded cat with stars in her pelt."the bite of a special snake will change the clan forever."the words from the Starlit cat echoed in my head as i lifted my head from the grass nest.

Moons later scourge called us to the bone Hill."Today is the first ever killing games and our participants are Bend,Copper,Silver,Rock and...VIPER!"Venom and Pebble took us to eat and rest for tomorrow,we slept with full bellies.I woke up again in the lush forest of star clan,I had been here many times and learned that it is star clans hunting grounds,I was expecting to see the tortoiseshell again but instead I saw all the cats in the battle of blood clan.One of the cats stepped forward and told me I had a great destiny ahead of me.

I woke up to a harsh prod in the ribs .We followed Bone to the pine forest and he told us that we had to find a den and food by dusk and we can't kill until dawn.I padded through the pine forest and found a small cave and grabbed some moss and caught a mouse and went back to the den.I woke up to dawn light filtering through the cave wall,I padded out cautiously,knowing I could be killed on the spot.I tried to hunt but the agonizing yowls of silver and rock made me flinch and scare away all the prey.I kept searching for food when I felt claws ripping through my spine and I recognized the scent,it was my brother ,Bend,I jerked and fell limp in his jaws and hoped he would buy my death impression,he walked away in triumph but I pounced on him and gave him a nip to the neck and he went limp.I headed back to the den with a squirrel in my jaws.I fell asleep hoping not to be killed.I woke up to two shadowy figures in the den and I realized it was scourge and bone...

Scourge stepped forwards and spoke in a Stern voice. "You and copper are the only ones who are still alive,I didn't think you'd make it this far.Come with us for the death match ."I padded behind scourge and Bone with worry,they took me to a large circle with a gorge surrounding it,Scourge flicked his tail to indicate that I have to go on the circle.I stretched my muscles to leap the gorge and I pounced and landed squarely on the rock."Begin !"I heard Scourge yowl at that moment i saw a big russet object bolting at me.

With lightening quick reflexes I lashed my paw at him and his flank started to bleed,he raked his thorn sharp claws through my stomach.Darkness started to enfold over my eyes and i thought I had died but I saw a flicker of light up ahead and I saw the cats of star clan."You have a great destiny ahead of you so we shall give you a power and revive you.use your new power of protection wisely."I felt a burst of energy as I sprung back to life and bit hard on copper's wind pipe.He fell limp in my jaws.I turned my head around and saw Scourge and Bone's horrified looks,with an angry and surprised look he trotted over to the blood stained ground where I stood."I did not expect you to make it to the top,you did well and have won the first killing games.Enjoy your new life."he told me with a hint of anger in his eyes.

I padded behind Scourge and felt excitement quiver in my veins as we neared the camp,I froze in shock as I heard a blood curdling yowl. I raced into camp to see our deputy,Venom dead on the ground pooling with blood and Raven standing triumphly next to him.Scourge stomped over to Raven and sliced his neck,as Raven screeched in agony Scourge growled. "You killed my loyal and blood thirsty deputy just so you could have a chance at leader.I like your ambition but he was the best and now that you killed him you will pay!"He clenched his teeth around Raven's neck and he jerked and fell limp.Scourge leaped onto the bone Hill. "I would like to announce our first killing games winner,Viper!"He flicked his tail,indicating for me to come."Since the loss of venom we must choose a new deputy and I think a good choice would be Viper and she does deserve this after she won the killing games. "He nipped my shoulder gently and I jumped down from the bone Hill.Scourge showed me to my new den and I then flopped down into the moss and feathers and let darkness enfold me.
