So...MariaE_writes asked for a tutorial and here it is!! Honestly, this is one of my first tutorials ever, so sorry in advance if I miss a step or forget to mention something.

The app that I used for this is Ibis Paint X. It's a very useful app available on both Playstore and App store. It is free too.

MariaE loved Lily Collins, so I decided to use her for this tutorial. While choosing a picture, make sure it's not to pixelated or blurry and is close to the camera. After scrolling on Pinterest, I found the picture I was going to use for the tutorial.

So...LET THE TUTORIAL BEGIN!

I'll be using three brushes throughout the tutorial: Pencil #1, Pencil (Graphite) and Fountain Pen.

• After you open the app, you'll click on My Gallery and then click on the '+' symbol at the bottom left corner.

• Then there will be a small page that will open which will ask you to choose the measurements of your canvas. You can either choose the one already given or you can adjust it according to you liking. I use 1000✖️1200.

• As the plain canvas appears on the screen you will see a tab with various options at the bottom of the screen.

• First, click on the layer tab. After opening that tab, you will see a 'camera' option. That option is used to import images. Click on that option and import your desired picture.

• After importing the picture, use two fingers to adjust it on the canvas per you liking and later click on the '✅' at the bottom right corner.

• After doing that, click on the layer option and drag down the layer of your photo down to make it the first layer. Also, don't forget to duplicate you picture and click on the 'eye' icon to keep the duplicate layer closed.

• Now, we will be starting with the smudging. Go to the tools bar and click on the finger icon.

• Make sure that you decrease the opacity and reduce the size of the smudge brush. (You can change the size according to you likings.)

• Let the smudging begain! Make sure you smudge everything evenly. It is very important for all the shades to be smudged properly at the same time them not mixing with each other coz that looks very shabby.

• This is the final product of how your picture will look after you're done with smudging.

Apparently they won't let me upload the screen recording me me doing the smudge.

I will be doing the eyes and the highlights in the next part since it requires a lot of pictures and wattpad is not allowing me to use all of them.
