Rainstar yowled, "we have to vote out the killer! Let us discuss and vote!" He gestured to the rings on the ground and the rocks.

Starlingfeather growled softly as she saw a chunk of fur the killer left behind. "The fur is stained... It's either dark colored or ginger!" She spat, looking at the cats who matched that description. 

Blazstripe also glared, but he had a more understanding tone to his, understanding that he too also fit the bill for the killer, and thus was a suspect.

Maplevine's fur bristled. She didn't know the cat personally but it was another death. She instinctively walked over to the nursery and sat near the entrance, trying to guard the kits. "StarClan help us-" She muttered, eyes shining with fear. "Don't let us go on like this," She prayed.

Autumnleaf bared her teeth at the suspicious glances her Clanmates were sending her. She had been outspoken about exiling the killer from the beginning, but now cats were mad. Wendigo didn't deserve to die. Aumnleaf felt like she was wailing on the inside. "It wasn't just me!" Yet she couldn't stop the blaze of suspicion from spreading. Sunkit and Flashkit huddled near her. Flashkit had a fire in her eyes, angry at the Clanmates who would dare put one of their own to death. Sunkit rested his head on top of Flashkit's, ready to die for his beloved littermate. Autumnleaf stared at them both. Nothing was going to harm them.

Sweetsparrow sat at the edge of the clearing, her eyes foggy and wet. She wasn't sure if she would be able to hang on any longer. She sighed with distress. 

Winterpaw looked around the camp, paws prickling with impatience. Then he saw Mistedfire looking at her suspiciously. "I vote Mistedfire!" She announced, making a circle with her paw and slamming her stone into it.

"What? Why are you voting for me? You seemed so sure it was Wendigo last time! I vote Winterpaw!" Mistedfire snarled, making a circle and shoving her stone in.

Quickwind yowled, "for StarClan's sake, please stop voting each other! There isn't enough evidence, we can't just assume who the traitor is until we are totally sure. I'm skipping!" She put her stone in the skip circle.

Starlingfeather and Blazestripe were discussing silently, and then they nodded. They both made a circle and put their stones in it. "Blazingblossom. Her fur is similar to the color found at the crime scene!" Starlingfeather mewed.

Maplevine sighed. "I don't know who the killer is, but I will help catch them. I vote Blazingblossom. I'm just following the crowd." She shrugged and placed her stone next to Starlingfeather's and Blazstripe's. 

Sweetsparrow gulped and placed her stone in the skip circle. "I don't want to put an innocent cat in danger..."

Tendrilpaw glared at Blazingblossom. "I vote Blazingblossom!" Gingerpaw nodded and placed both of their stones in the Blazingblossom circle.

Blazingblossom's fur spiked up in fear. "I vote Maplevine!" Her voice shook a little. Her death was going to be soon, but she wanted her opinion to stand out! She made a circle and placed her stone in it.

Frozenember placed her stone in the Blazingblossom circle. 

Thornkit shook his head apologetically and placed his tiny stone in the Blazingblossom circle.

Rainstar nodded solemnly. "I'm sorry, Blazingblossom."He led Blazingblossom to a small rocky path that led higher and higher. 

Blazingblossom's heart was beating so loud, she could hear it in her ears. "I don't want to die." She sobbed.

"I'm sorry, but if you're a suspect, and everyone's hostile at you..." Rainstar's eyes were filled with fog and tears. "You've been a great warrior. We will miss you."

Blazingblossom wailed as they reached the end of the path. There was a giant cliff. The exact spot where Wendigo had jumped. 

She rubbed furiously against Rainstar, tears pouring everywhere. She then stood at the edge of the rock, and slowly fell forward.

As she plummeted down to her death, she whispered, "my Clanmates were wrong. I was not the killer!" She wailed as the ground came closer and closer, letting her voice bounce around the cliff, letting her clanmates know that they were wrong. 

Then everything went black.
