Chapter 49
I sighed looking between the two mirrors as their shine faded along with the images. You would have thought I would have gotten over the many negative emotions I got spending the past centuries watching over my two daughters.
Yeah right.
I watched as the gold mirror to the right changed and showed the image of Alayna while the other black one showed Violet.
They look so much like Alissa and Viona yet so different.
Alayna's attitude is different from Alissa's but not far off, Violet's definitely different from Viona's, she's stronger, darker, though they have some similarities. As much as I hate what she's gone through I'm also glad for it. Maybe things will be different from the other centuries.
I sighed walking out of the chamber and into a grand hall. I turned around and looked pass the endless high of pure white marble columns out of a grand window. I sighed as I watched everyone living peacefully.
Their beauty would be the first thing you would notice, the next would be their pure and unique wings and their pure aura. Angels were truly beautiful creatures.
I sighed as the picture seemed to flicker as a rippling lake before coming into focused once again. "A shame they are suck in that dimension instead of being able to spread their positive aura. Earth's dimension could only take so much."
"Good thing there are some good souls to help it hang on then" Arms snaked around me as I felt a smile come to my face as I turned to face my mate.
Years as a god has done him good. No shame in admitting that and he has no shame of showing it off considering he hasn't covered his muscled chest for centuries.
"Filtiarn darling" I wrapped my arms around his neck before giving him a peck. "Back so soon? Wonder why..." Filtiarn chuckled at his mate's silliness but still played along "Well, there is this beautiful woman. She is beautiful and literally a goddess and the love of my life." Aileen giggled at his sweetness before giving him a lasting kiss pulling away from him as he tried to make it deeper making him pout.
"So how was your day?" Aileen asked genuinely curious. Filtiarn still sulked answering her "Same old same old, I have found the most interesting child however, born from two pack doctors. I think he will make a great alpha, especially since the current alpha son is unfit. I should be able to take away his power as he comes of age and give it to the boy." Aileen smiled at the spark found in her mate's eyes every time he spoke of his work. She was truly proud of him.
Filtiarn stopped before he got too carried away. "What about you?" It was Eileen's turn to have the spark in her eyes as she discussed the wolves she had put together and others deserving she has given a second chance.
Filtiarn's smile faltered as he began to sense sadness in her emotions. "What's wrong sunshine" He asked gently pulling her delicate body against his buff one. "I'm just worried about the girls that's all." She sniffed trying to keep her tears at bay as he guided her towards a couch which appeared at his will.
Filtiarn felt heartbroken at his mate's state, even if it happened every centuries. "Let it out Sunshine" He gently soothed her as tears streamed down her face and unto his bare chest.
"It's just not fair! Why are my only two daughters destined to fight against each other every century? Why can't they live in peace?! That man Augustine is just-"Filtiarn gave her a swift kiss to calm her anger.
"You cannot just blame it on one man Aileen, we both know he is but a pawn for those two to fulfill their purpose. Yes he is a very despicable man at heart but he will get what's coming to him, though I guess that's what made him qualified for his role." Aleen narrowed her eyes chuckling bitterly.
"That's one way to make a mother feel better" Filtiarn rolled his eyes used to her answer. "Isn't it?" He chuckled as she pouted. "Okay I feel better now"
"Though I'm still worried." Aileen sighed before looking out towards the grand window once again. It shimmered before showing a different dimension.
Earth, surrounded on one side by a white aura and on the other and dark aura. Both seem to be pushing against the other trying to overcome the other.
The dark side however more territory than the light has and seems to be fighting ferociously to gain more as the light looks to be weakening.
"The balance is going out of control, I'm afraid what will happen if we have to wait for even any more centuries. Every supernatural in that dimension along with the humans will experience many hardships if the balance isn't brought back to normal. It will only be a matter of time before it's completely and utterly destroyed." Aileen spoke while Filtiarn sighed.
"I'm worried about that too and I agree. I don't know how long this dimension will last for another hundred centuries."

To Augustine everything seems to be coming together. Except for one flaw.
Violet Scarlett
She is unlike her past selves. Unpredictable and it bothers him.
In a way it was his fault. Had he not attacked during their descent that night, she would not have been lost and lived a life that changed her like no other. As much as he loved her suffering, it's the outcome that bothers him.
Not only that but the connection between her and that demon seems stronger than the past selves. It's unsettling.
Augustine needs to find out what makes her tick, her weakness. It may be the only way he can truly ensure he will win this.
His eyes drifted towards the information he asked Richard to gather on her. "There has to be something."

Stephen groaned in pain as he lay on his bed.
'Let me out of here you insolent light witch' Alayna's wolf growled once again hitting against the barrier trapping her in his mind. He groaned once again at the painful delayed reaction as it seems to spread throughout her body.
"Shit I knew this was a bad idea" He grumbled as another surge of pain went through him.
What was he thinking when he thought he could keep a legendary wolf at bay. Though he lasted longer than he thought it was with help from Augustine and-
He shivered.
Cecil
Ugh that woman is as creepy as she could be.
To his surprise Alayna's wolf chuckled just chuckled. 'I'll agree with you on that'
'Though I'm curious, why do you accomplish by doing this Stephen?' Stephen's eyes narrowed at the ceiling warning bells ringing in his mind.
'Peace and order of course. Demons, dark witches and many other dark supernatural creatures have been disturbing that peace. No one can live with all of these dark creatures terrorizing us.' She seemed to go quiet at his statement.
'Do you know how hypocritical and stereotypical that is' Stephen blinked in surprise at her statement.
'You are saying every dark supernatural there has a dark heart, are you trying to say every light has a good heart.' Stephen was stumped as he tried to make a comeback.
'You see my point' her wolf said smugly while Stephen stayed silent pondering.
His mind was in chaos as questions and doubts begin to fill his mind. Doubts he thought he had conquered long ago.
'Now' He barely heard her whisper before the pain increased tenfold. Stephen cried in pain unable to hold it in as Alayna's wolf broke through his barriers.
Alayna's wolf howled in joy as she went to break out of his mind before she was held back by a force. She snarled and tried to fight against it as it trapped her and pulled her back into the prison she just escaped from.
'No!' She cried out as she was trapped once again. She threw herself at the barrier again and again but it seems to get stronger before it electrified her making her howl in pain quickly moving away from it.
"I give you one important task and you come close to failing it" Stephen groaned his vision blurry as he looked up from the ground on which he found himself on. "Master Augustine"
Augustine tried not to sneer at the pathetic form in front of him. Maybe he should have taken Richard's warning. "You are lucky I got here in time boy."
Stephen slowly rose and lay on is bed trying to labor his breath. Augustine sighed feeling his strength fading.
"Rest boy, training begin tomorrow." With that he left Stephen as his vision begins to darken. He couldn't help the lingering questions and doubts as Alayna's wolf spoke pain coating her voice.
'I hope you know what you are doing Stephen. Because I know this man will doom us even more than he already has'

"So who do you think the traitor is?" Grant asked lazing around on a sofa.
"I bet it's that bitch of a demon that's been all over Nathan." Violet grumbled. "What's her name Ciera, Clara-"
"Claire and are you jealous" Nathan chuckled pulling her closer towards him from the love seat.
"No just stating my suspicion." Violet shrugged leaning into me. "You sure it's not anything else Violet?" Dracula raised an eyebrow.
Violet huffed. "I swear she has something against me." Everyone else snickered.
"Violet pretty much everyone in this building has something against you." Violet pouted turning towards Nathan. "Do you have something against me?"
Smirked mischievously.
"Only the fact that I haven't gotten to fuck you senseless for over centuries." Violet's smacked his chest her eyes widening as she tried to fight a blush. "Shut up let's just get this meeting over with." She mumbled burying her face into his chest.
"Eager are we" Dracula chuckled as he teased her.
"Hey, you're supposed to be the over protective dad or whatever." Violet narrowed her eyes at him while he just shrugged and smirked. "Eh that's overrated"
"Whatever let's just get back to business."
