Moments in the past

 “You will not win this” Augustine smirked staring at the pathetic looking girl in front of him.

“Someone has to” She said in a mocking tone that didn’t sit well with him.

“It certainly won’t be you.” He snarled before chuckling.

“Honestly what was going through the moon goddess mind when she created darkness to protect light? Darkness only destroys light and to be mated to that demon” He tisked.

“You are truly an abomination” He smirked as the girl growled.

“Do not insult my mother or my mate. Besides who else would protect everyone? You? You would destroy the world more than he or I ever would have” The girl spoke it as a fact making Augustine roar in order before striking her.

The girl simply chuckled spitting out the blood. “See you can barely control yourself.” Augustine simply struck her again.

Augustine took a deep breath before calming down. “I’m sure your sister will do a much better job” Augustine smirked as the girl growled staring at him in hatred.

“Try if you can you can never fight against the mate bond” The girl shifted to another topic while Augustine chuckled. “That’s what you think”

As he made his way out the door the girl growled. “The mate bond is unstoppable, you are not going to get away with this, and he will find me!”

The door closed shut leaving her in the dark.

“Where is she?!”

“Master please-“

“Where is my mate!” The demon ducked just in time as a table flew overhead smashing against the wall behind her.

 “Master Nathan please calm, we are trying our best to find her” The demon servant tried to calm him down.

“Well your best is not enough” Nathan roared taking out his anger and frustrations on everything around him.

“Enough son! This mansion cannot take anymore disturbances” A voice boomed making Nathan snap his attention towards his father angrily.

“If I don’t find my mate this mansion and this whole world will have a lot more to worry about” Nathan snarled a while his father growled at the disrespect.

“Enough about this girl, you can easily get another sure they won’t be as powerful as her but they will do” His father waved his anger off uncaring.

A dark aura surrounded Nathan making the servant’s eye widen before she quickly scurried out from the cross fire that was bound to happen.

“You think I can just forget about my mate? That I was just using her for power like you did my mother!” Nathan yelled while his father slightly flinched at the mention of his mother.

Nathan just sneered at his reaction. “Just because you didn’t get your happy ending doesn’t mean I shouldn’t get mine.

“This has nothing to do with-“

“It has everything to do with it” Nathan snarled stalking up to his father who he had locked in a predatory gaze his demon surfacing.

“Listen here and listen well. Don’t even think about getting in my way, I will turn this world and others into chaos and I will not leave a stone unturned until I find my mate.” Nathan snarled before he swiftly growled holding his father against the wall by the neck. “Don’t think I won’t hurt any of my own people because I can and I will if they get in my way” Nathan gave his father a sadistic smile his eyes black as night holding a malicious glint.

His father knew this was no empty threat, there was no stopping him. It seems his power has doubled over his.

“It seems your demon has finally surfaced.” He wheezed out. All it took was a loss of a mate for a defect to turn into this. Oh the irony.

“Yes father My demon has surfaced, makes you think of all the things we can do together, after all we both love playing games as long as we get what we want” Nathan smirked releasing his father watching with anger and disgust as he caught his breath.

‘A shame his demon is also effected by that blasted mate bond.’ Nathan heard his father’s thoughts wiping the smirk off his face.

“A shame isn’t it” He snarled sending a dark beam at him making him scream in pain.

“I’m taking your army and I’m raising hell.” Nathan stepped over his father existing the room.

“So long Lucifer” His father flinched at his name coming from his own flesh and blood.

He no longer had control over him.

All because of that blasted girl.

“Viona please I’m only trying to help you”

“Oh save it Alissa your definition of help towards me is the complete opposite” The girl shackled snarled at her sister standing before her.

The girl before her an exact replica of her with all the opposite features as she was light while she was dark.

Alissa frowned at her sister’s state holding in her flinch at her venomous glares.

“Please I only did it for you and everyone’s safety” Alisa said softly hoping her sister would understand she did not betray her.

Viona only sneered “What kind of bullshit has Augustine been feeding you to keep me from my own happiness? Honestly you are the most naïve and easily manipulated person yet, it’s a shame to call you my other half” Alissa flinched back in hurt.

“I understand what you’re going through but-“

“You understand nothing” Viona snarled struggling against her restraints as her wolf began to take over making Alissa step back cautiously.

“You have everything you need, a loving pack, family, freedom, a mate while I had everything taken away from me! For what?!” Alissa stood shocked with growing fear at the sudden outburst as a dark aura enveloped the room.

Viona let out a dark laugh that didn’t even sound human before she spoke “Why don’t I just wipe out your pack and your family, oh and let’s not forget your oh so loving mate. I should just kill him and make sure you have no future with him just like you’re making sure I don’t have one with mine.” Viona smiled a sadistic smile while Alissa growled.

“You will not go near my mate and they are your family also” Alissa snarled. Viona just gave her a bittersweet smile before her bound suddenly snapped and she disappeared in a blink of the eye.

Alissa gasped in surprise and fear. She has gone toe to toe with her sister some rare times and it was never easy in fact it was dangerous.

“They were more a family to you then me and as for the packs, they always preferred you. As for your angel boy I’m sure he’ll resurrect or something” Her voice came from somewhere in the darkness before Alissa found herself against the wall from her neck.

She gasped as she looked into her sisters now violet eyes meaning both her wolf and witch have surfaced.

Her sister’s head tilted slightly as she stared straight into her eyes. “I don’t get it” Alissa stared back at her in fear and confusion.

“You get mated to an all so powerful angel and you get praises and celebration but I get mated to a powerful demon and get well this” Viona gestured around her.

“He’s dangerous” Alissa said weakly against her grip. She saw fury flash in her sister’s eyes before something pierced her shoulder from behind. She cried out in pain looking down to see a shadow before it melted back behind her. “So is your little angel you know, he’s very powerful I don’t see the problem” Viona said calmly, too calm.

Alissa barely breathed before she found herself thrown to an opposite wall. “You really are a bad sister, but I’m sure everyone will acknowledge your all so good deed. You’ll be the savior the hero while I’ll probably be gone” Viona spoke venomously stalking towards her sister before grabbing her by the hair ignoring her tears.

“Please Viona I don’t want to fight you” Alissa begged reluctant to use her powers on her sister.

“It’s too late Alissa, you started this fight the second you joined Augustine.” Viona grazed her canine at Alissa’s throat making her shiver in fear.

Suddenly they were interrupted by the door slamming open before Viona was struck sending her back against a wall. She snarled before shrieking as something hot and piercing was poured over her.

Holy water. It felt like it was slowly penetrating her skin burning it off her head was pounding as her witch screamed out in pain.

“Get her out of here” Augustine gestured to a frightened Alissa “and get her restrained” He gestured towards viona who was still making slight noises of pain.

“Now do you see how dangerous it will be if your sister mates that man Alissa” Augustine smirked as she meekly nodded before following the guide out.

“The spell is almost done, we will need you soon sir” A servant spoke out.

“Yes yes now off with you” A man waved the servant off who left without another word.

“Are you sure about this?” another man turned towards him making him roll his eyes.

“Of course. Now stop asking you’re my beta and you’re supposed to support me on this” the man rolled his eyes.

“No as you’re beta I’m supposed to help you do the right thing and, I don’t think this is the right thing” The other man said the last part hesitantly.

The man simply growled turning towards him “That’s too bad isn’t it? considering I get the final say.”

The other man just simply shook his head at him “I don’t get why you agreed to this.”

The man turned towards him raising an eyebrow giving him a ‘really?’ Look.

“Seriously? The power Lion. Imagine the power I can get from being mated to this girl, the Tritan pack will be the most powerful pack out there.”

Lion stared at his friend a little worried of his ambitions. “What about your own mate Tristan?”

Tristan only snorted “I’m sure she won’t be half as good as the girl, I mean who wouldn’t want to be mated to the moon goddesses daughter regardless which one” He rolled his eyes before looking out into the forest.

Lion sighed shaking his head.

“Messing with the bond is very dangerous my friend I ear the consequences” Lion whispered before walking out.

Lightning struck the sky that seems to be taking the color of blood as both sides faced off.

“Today we have come to witness something phenomenal” Cecil spoke out to the crowd making one side cheer while the other growled.

Everything seemed to speed up as flickers of images flashed.

“You fool!”

“What have you done!”

“This is our punishment”

“Why did I ever listen to you now my bloodline is doomed!”

“I brought order”

“NO you brought chaos!”

“This is all your fault!”

“You cannot continue with this”

“I’ve had enough of you this time I will rule.”

“I’m sorry Viona”

“I’m sorry also, this is all your fault.”

“Viona please stay alive”

“What’s happening?!”

“W-why son to kill your own father?” Everything seems to slow down as it ended on one bloody scene.

“This is my kingdom to rule” Nathan spoke with authority down at his father’s broken form.

“If you are this devastated losing that girl I curse your soul with immortality. You will live with the pain of losing her-“

“Forever”

Violet snapped up sweat coating her skin as she looked around.

“What was that” She whispered glancing at Nathan who slept beside her.

‘Moments from the past’ She heard a calming voice whisper in her mind but it wasn’t her wolf.

‘Who are you’ She demanded but received no answer. She sighed looking out at the full moon that seemed to flash red as she saw before returning to normal.

“Moments from the past?” She glanced back at Nathan who slept beside her. “Or memories of the past.”
