Violet 

 I sighed sinking more into the tub as the conversation with Trent came back to me.

Honestly how much of an idiot can he be? His wolf has been on edge ever since the attack, my guess is that he sensed him near me, he may have left some of his scent on me too. I’m surprise no one picked up on it yet.

Trent being the idiot he is didn’t even look into it.  In a way I’m glad, I have more time to figure this out without any drama.

Or anymore drama. Alayna is still trying to get me to talk to her about that night. The funeral preparations may have kept her busy but she kept trying, like I said stubborn as a mule. Don’t get me wrong it’s not so bad but sometimes she tends to go overboard to find out things, especially about me making me snap after a while.

What are sisters for?

‘To mail them to Alaska to be Santa’s handy helpers’ my wolf mumbled. She’s been getting annoyed with her attempts also along with her wolf who keeps nagging at her putting her in a foul mood.

‘No but I’ll consider it for Paige’ I swear that girl is a pain in the…….

She just doesn’t learn.

I sighed and looked toward the rose I place in the vase ever since that night. I made sure to use magic so it would never wilt. I reached out and stocked the soft petal between my fingertips.

I had to use light magic since dark magic isn’t meant for this king of thing. It kind of hurts using light magic my body not meant for it, hence the reason I don’t use light magic but it was worth it.

That attraction wasn’t normal yet it felt so right. I was in a happy mood for a day and that’s a new record.

‘You keep forgetting he’s the ‘king’ of demons’ My wolf spoke emphasizing king. I just rolled my eyes before getting out of the tub.

‘Shut up you mutt we were both thinking the same thing, your thoughts shouldn’t be called thoughts.’ I spoke drying myself while she grumbled.

‘Touché’

I stepped out into my room and froze when I saw a familiar blond on my bed watching me like a hawk. Oh great.

I made a move to back away back into the bathroom but the door glowed a lite before slamming close.

Damn I thought as I looked into Alayna’s eyes that flashed dark blue as she used her powers.
“Sit” She pointed to the bed.

I raised an eyebrow. Does she really just order me, were both alpha’s here sitter or not we don’t like others ordering us we just tolerate it with each other when it happens.

Also I have the tendency to do the opposite of what was ordered, like when the elders told me not to kill a pack of rogues that have been giving trouble……

I don’t see why they said not too anyway, honestly their just grumpy old man with their age, knowledge and titles as their backbone.

 Alayna sighed “Please” She gestured towards the bed.

I sighed and put on some undergarments before sitting on the bed.

“So….” I trailed off.

“Don’t so me, you know what it is, you have been avoiding this talk ever since that day. Speaking of which, why the heck did you trigger a century worth of conflict when I warned you” She snapped.

“Seriously, why do I get a sister like you, the only thing you might be good at is killing, you can’t do a simple thing but listen or even show any good emotion” She was breathing hard the time she finished.

I narrowed my eyes at her “Don’t put this on me, I didn’t even know what would trigger it, you only warned me I would do it not how” I sneered while her eyes softened.

“Look I’m sorry ok I’m just a little stressed” Alayna sighed running her hand through her blond locks.

I just sighed wrapping a robe around myself “it’s alright.” I reassured her. Alayna is barely angry and when she is she snaps and says things she doesn’t mean.

But some things she says are what she bottles up. It hurts me my own sister think of me that way but I didn’t bother to show it.

“What happened that night?” She asked me after trying to read me for a while.

I sighed, no choice but to tell her I guess.

“I sensed a presence during that fight, I thought you did to and would have headed that way but weirdly I guess you didn’t” I explained trying my best to leave his name and our encounter out. I almost touched my forehead remembering it.

“That’s not all” She narrowed her eyes at me. Damn her power.

“Naberious” I muttered seeing her eyes widen.

“How didn’t I sense him? How did you did?” She was pacing back and forth before pausing turning towards me with narrowed eyes. “What Happened?”

I shifted under her gaze a little looking anywhere but her. “We umm met?” That was more of a question.

“What do you mean by that like you had a fight?” She continued interrogating me.

“No” I sighed.

“What happened then I swear Violet if you don’t tell me right now Ill-“

“He kissed me okay” I burst.

“Not kiss kiss me but on the fore head and I liked it” I sighed “I mean how could I not, He was the finesse man I ever seen, I was left speechless, his voice was so mesmerizing I couldn’t help but feel a pull towards him he’s-“I froze when I realized what I was saying while my sister was in the room.

“V-violet” Alayna called out to me as she stared in shock.

“I-I” Looked away from her.

Alayna wordlessly sat by me on the bed while I stared ahead.

“I met him before you know” I whispered while Alayna’s head snapped towards me. “What?”

“I met him before when I was little when I was in this pack” I chuckled.

“When they started treating me like dirt when I didn’t shift. He was the one that comforted me once when I was crying in the rain and gave me a Scarlett rose. He somehow made me happy that day.” I sighed remembering the memory.

“Of course I knew something was different about him but I didn’t know what. He just somehow brought a smile out of me.” I closed my eyes before opening them once again to see Alayna staring at me in shock.

I froze when I felt something warm down my face and rested my fingers there holding it out in front of me to see a tear.

“Oh Violet” Alayna gave me a hug while I was still shocked. Alayna pulled away looking at me determined.

“I don’t know what this conflict has to do with you and Naberious and you’re history but just know I’ll always be you’re sister and I’ll always look out for you” She smiled sadly. “Just promise me to be careful”

I stared at her in shock before smiling a little nodding.

“Good now get ready we leave for school in a few” She stood up and stretched while I groaned.

I hate school, honestly from the teachers to the fake so called friends.

Alayna

I sighed in relief as I closed the door to my sister’s room.

What does this mean?

‘I don’t know Alayna, I really don’t its very strange that she feels a pull towards Naberious.’ My wolf sighed.

‘I know this century conflict connects to them but I don’t really know how’ I stated frustrated as I thought about the fact that Violet actually shed a tear.

‘Don’t beat yourself up about it Alayna I’m sure everything will reveal itself soon’ my wolf soothed me.

I took a deep breath.

‘I hope you’re right and I hope were ready when they do.’

I sighed and looked out the window as the history teacher went on and on.

She glanced at me before continuing her lesson not daring to call me out. He perks of having a scary sister, none of the teachers would dare go against her, not after what she did to the last one who did.

When Violet came to the school with her plans to take over the school, the teachers who were wolf backed off easily while the humans were confused and hesitant at first before letting it go. Except for one.

Let’s just say after Three days he gave up easily and no she didn’t kill him. He would have wished.

In three days, he went bankrupt, his car broke down, his water and electricity were gone, and he almost lost his house and his wife.

The damage my sister can do physically and mentally and to someone’s life is incredible.

‘It’s a talent for both her and her wolf’ my wolf chuckled while I rolled my eyes.

I froze when I felt a static in the air. My head snapped towards the door when it got stronger.

There was a knock at the door making everyone glance at it. The teacher muttered curse words before opening the door.

“Hi I’m Stephen a new student” I heard a voice speak while I felt the instant connection.

“Ah yes yes take a seat” The teacher gestured him towards a seat.

Stephen nodded and went towards his seat making eye contact with me winking while I frowned.

Why the heck would one of them be here? Some of their covens allied with each other like the other packs to protect themselves.

‘Violet you’re going to want to see this’ I mind linked Violet glancing at Stephen who was still staring at me.

‘What is it’ her irritated voice rang throughout my head.

I watched as the wolves sniffed the air confused by his scent while the teacher stared confused.

‘There’s a-‘

I was cut off when the door slammed open making all of us jump.

I stared wide eyed at Violet who stood at the doorway her eyes turning darker as she looked around the room. I saw some wolf shiver as she gazed at them before her gaze landed on Stephen who stiffened as her eyed darkened even more. Shit she sensed him.

“You” She” pointed at him “out” She pointed towards the door.

“I’m not sure the teacher-“

“Out!” Violet growled cutting him off while he turned towards the teacher.

“Go with her Stephen” The teacher gestured towards Violet trembling a little.

“Umm okay” Stephen got up and slowly made his way towards Violet.

“Violet growled an impatient growl before roughly grabbing him dragging him out of the class.

‘Hurry before she tears him apart’ my wolf urged me making me get up and dash after the pair leaving a cursing teacher.

I ran into the gym just in time as the door slammed clothe.

I gasped when Violet tossed him into the center growling. “I could sense you fucking pricks a mile away and it disgusts me now why are you here?” She growled out the shadows beginning to move around the gym.

“What’s wrong with me being here?” Stephen smirked getting up. Is he looking for a death wish?

Violet just sneered

“Everything is wrong with a light witch being near me”

And Violet hates light witches with passion with the exception of me and Merideth.
