"Yes sires" The young light witch bowed before the two powerful men and woman in front of him.

"The girl has made contact with him" The head spoke straight the point. The young light witch lifted he's eyes in shock at the news. "So soon?" He spoke masking his surprise and he's growing worry.

"Yes although for a little while but I have no doubt they will come to contact with each other in the future" The woman spoke in a smooth sugarcoated tone that made her more terrifying other than her origin. The young light witch almost shivered but contained himself.

"It crucial they do not make contact again." The men from the head's right spoke.

"They have not been together for more than 2000 years and we intend to keep it so" The men on he's left spoke while the woman giggled twisting her blond locks between her fingers.

"Many are getting suspicious, if this goes on we won't be covered for long" The woman pouted before her eyes narrowed into slits making the young Light witch shiver "we cannot let history repeat itself once again, it has happened too many times already" Her eyes grew cold as she stared ahead as if reliving something along with the others.

It makes the young light witch wonder how they know of so much that have happened for the past 2000 years in such fine detail. They are not more than 200 years old or so he thinks but he knows better than to voice he's thoughts.

"Every 100 years he is getting even closer to her, but now he is to close for any more comfort" The man to the head's right spoke sternly.

"Those two together are very dangerous not only to the supernatural world but all worlds" The woman spoke stopping twisting her locks for a moment. "They cannot be together no matter what" she hissed in clear distaste startling the young witch from her change of mood. The young light witch nodded in understanding of the danger.

"You will go and ensure they do not come in contact" The head man spoke staring into the young light witch's eyes making him suppress a shiver.

"I understand but if I may ask how do I ensure this successfully" He spoke determinedly.

"Whatever you must but make sure you bring her and make sure to bring her closer to the restoration, use him if it comes to it. As long as she doesn't come in contact with that filthy demon" By the end she was hissing the last part before taking a breath to calm herself returning to twisting her locks.

"I trust you will be able to come up with a plan and succeed your task" The head spoke.

"I understand I will do my best" The young light witch bowed his head as power begin leaking from them.

"Oh my boy, your best is not enough you need a lot more to be able to fight against fate" The head chuckled before they all broke into laugher power suffocating the room.

Violet

“A toast to you all not being that much of an asshole” I raised my cup before drowning the contents while many others just shrugged ignoring my statement chugging theirs also.

It’s officially been two months since this alliance was formed and I’m still hating it. At least they’ve gotten better at training and personalities I guess.

Trent thought it would be a good idea to celebrate our two months here and the fact that he’s pack has improved in training, so here we are having a barbecue. I’m not complaining thought I’m a sucker for food, and my wolf raw meat so it’s a win win, plus I guess I could loosen up a little with the alcohol.

So as you can tell barbecue is my weakness. The food ‘the meat’ my wolf and I sighed as the aroma of food reached us.

As I waited I thought back to the past few days.

Paige is still annoying. ‘Shocker’ My wolf rolled her eyes.

 Luke has been very much like glue trying to make it up to me like he said. It’s so annoying he’s scaring all the boys off! I wasn’t going to have sex with them or anything just toy and torture them, it was getting so frustrating I actually threatened to use him as my rag doll so he wisely backed off.

Trent also has been confused ever since I blocked the mate bond and he connected the dots me being a witch and all. He’s tried to get the answers but that failed considering I blocked the bond, yeah he tried those dirty tricks. One thing I found out about my spell, I didn’t have enough soul left to block both sides of the bond so he still feels something for me and is still bugging me. I guess I should be glad it worked for me.

I’m just glad he didn’t tell Merideth or my sister. That would have been a disaster ‘good thing he’s an idiot’ my wolf snorted.

I guess. Speaking of idiots guess who tried to poison me with holy water. No not Paige but Christian, you know Chris’s brother. Guess the opportunity and temptation was to great, would have worked if I couldn’t sense that thing a mile away, much less inches away. Did they seriously think I would give out my weakness if I wasn’t confident it would not work if they tried using it?

‘Once again idiots’ my wolf rolled my eyes. ‘At least we got to punish him, it’s been so long’ she sighed as she thought back to his punishment. Since he tried to kill me an alpha I had every right to punish him, heck I could even kill him but what would be the fun in that? It’s been a while since I could hurt someone within the law, or laws.

Being a Dark Witch creating poison is illegal and since I was given the right to punish him they never said which methods were legal and which were not. Then again I’ve made poisons before but who is going to tell, their already six feet under as anyone who even thinks of speaking up. I’m getting off track but seriously keep your mouth shut.

Then again in my defense a dark witch goes crazy if they don’t use their powers after a while along with the light witches but that still doesn’t stop that stupid council from trying to suppress them. There are very few of them left in the world anyway most in hiding. Now I am definitely off track.

 Anyway I made a poison that I myself invented that poison doesn’t kill however, it just give you pain for an amount of time depending on how much injected. That one took a while to succeed, I can’t believe how many people……. Not a word.

Anyway he was in pain for one whole week, I think it wears off today.

Oh well

I sighed I watched Maya and Derek laughing and dancing.

Derek finally manned up and asked her out, they even marked each other. Since their mates died their wolves find comfort in each other along with themselves. Maybe too much comfort, I’m getting tired of walking in on them. At least they didn’t fully mate yet, this isn’t the time or atmosphere for a pregnant she wolf much less a baby.

I lay my head down in boredom sipping more of my drink, I feel a little ting but ignore it. Foods not done yet and they have to make enough to feed three packs of wolves so it might take a while and I’m bored to the max.

Watching Maya and Derek with smiles on their faces as they have fun isn’t helping at all. It’s not that I’m jealous anyway, I’m just used to Derek and his annoying self, bothering me and bugging me to let loose and go have fun.

 Although I can’t help but be jealous of their relationship and happiness.

“Hey sis” Alayna greeted sitting beside me. I just grumbled keeping still staring ahead.

“You look bored” She raised an eyebrow staring at my face and alcoholic drink.

“Really” I stated sarcasm in my tone and went to take another sip only for it to be snatched out of my hand. I scowled staring at my empty hand before turning towards my sister.

“No more" she stated firmly before dumping it on the ground weirdly with anticipation guilt in her eyes. I just growled glaring at her in annoyance that was a good drink.

‘You don’t know the half of it’ my wolf muttered while I raised an eyebrow confused.

“Oh come on, we haven’t hanged out in a while” She whined pulling me up by my hands heading or dragging me towards the dance floor.

“Now I remember why” I muttered as she dragged me, I would have resisted more but this girl is much more stubborn than a mule considering she’s a wolf, half anyway. My wolf snickered at my little ‘joke’ I would call it fact. She’s right thought we barely hanged out with all the drama going around.

 Maybe it’s time to loosen up.

"'Cause the players gonna play, play, play, play, play" I sang as I danced

"And the haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate" Alayna picked up after me as she danced along with me.

"Baby, I'm just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake I shake it off, I shake it off" Ashly and Katy picked up after her dancing together.

"Heart-breakers gonna break, break, break, break, break" I sang shaking my hips.

My wolf snorted ‘yeah right’

Ok I am totally drunk.

I swear someone drugged me since I don’t get drunk easily, same with Alayna but hey who cares!

 ‘Totally drunk’ my wolf muttered.

----------------- 1 more hour later

“I can’t believe you drugged me!” I yelled at Alayna.

“It helped you loosen up and have fun didn’t it” She defended herself.

“Too bad you stupidly drugged yourself and Ashly and Katy, now were all going to get a killer headache.” I smirked while Ashly muttered something about being dragged into her plans. I rolled my eyes but understood, whether they wanted to or not she would have made them do it.

“I didn’t mean to drug myself it was an accident” Alayna muttered making all three of us snicker.

“You have to admit that was kind of fun” Ashly chuckle. Humiliating myself is not something I call fun, a drunk Violet is a sunshine bipolar Violet, I get the creeps about the kind things do when I get drunk.

My wolf just chuckled while I mentally glared at her ‘you knew.’ I accused her.

‘Guilty’ she chuckled.

“Yeah let’s do it again” Katy slurred still under influence, she never did have a strong stomach. Also, hell I am not doing that again.

“I don’t know about you but I am-“I started but was cut off when Alayna gasped and her eyes turned a bright shade of blue.

 She’s having a vision.

Just like I have powers so does Alayna.

I have the pain bringer, blood control, mind reading, compulsion, the power to see and unlock the past, manipulate the shadows and my dark magic. Alayna has healing powers, she can manipulate and feel emotions, compulsion, the power to foresee, manipulate the light and light magic.

Yeah the power to see the past, it’s a bust and it the hardest to control, my wolf never knew we had this power something about it being a random special power for each twins every 100 years. It corresponds with ourselves, it makes sense I guess, and I’m still hung up about my past while Alayna looks forward to the future. Although her power only works if we are allowed or able to change the fate that she sees in her visions, she can’t force it.

Me well I can see and decipher the past. Even if no one knows the truth about that event, if meant to be hidden I will know, you can’t change the past no matter how much you try to twist it in the future. This power also helps me block the cruel memories of being in this pack, if I didn’t I would have already crumbled. I know they say you should face you’re pass but I’m not ready too, if I do it now I will be unstable and that won’t be good for the balance.

‘Or is that just an excuse’ my wolf spoke softly. I just ignored her and stared at Alayna who was completely frozen in place not even breathing.

You can see we were basically made to oppose each other and balance each other out, not only ourselves but the world, we stay balance like Ying and Yang. Actually that’s where the idea came from.

A minute later Alayna gasped breathing in sharply before her eyes returned to normal.

Worry over came her features making me instantly tense. Why can’t her visions be about a good thing for once?

‘Because fate is a bastard and karmas a bitch’ my wolf rolled her eyes.

‘What did you see Alayna’ I asked her in the mind link making sure to block out everyone else.

‘Demons, lots of them not only that but there was an ominous presence a dark one’ she shivered slightly. A dark ominous presence, it can’t be he can’t possibly come this soon.

‘We need to get the children and elders to safety Violet, this battle will be bloody’ Alayna begged. I furrowed my eyebrows in worry.

Normally I would have loved a bloody battle but only when were prepared. Right now were vulnerable and wide open. Half of the wolves at this party are drunk and the elders and children are still out.

I turned towards Alayna to see worry and as she stared at me. There’s something else.

‘What is it Alayna, there’s something you’re not telling me’ I gave her a stern look showing her I would get it out of her either way. My mental strength is stronger than hers is stronger than hers due to my mind reading so I can pry it out of my mind, although she can manipulate my emotions and use them against me to distract me or stop me. See balanced.

She sighed mentally before giving up ‘It’s just during this battle, someone will trigger something, something that has been going on for centuries’ she spoke looking down at the ground.

‘Who?’ I asked maybe we can stop this trigger for whatever has been happening for centuries. Yeah I know I don’t know if it’s good or bad but Alayna’s visions have never been about anything good.

‘You’ Alayna stated staring into my eyes with her identical ones.

What? I stared at her shocked.

‘How-‘I froze as a breeze came in carrying the whispers of the shadows as the sun began setting.

‘Demons’

‘Many’

‘Demons’

‘Malicious’

The last one shocked me the most

‘Naberious’

I froze staring wide eyes at the end of the forest nearby.

Impossible, the malicious presence.

‘Their close’

The shadows whispered making me snap out of it.

‘All elders and children report to the safe houses’ I commanded with my alpha tone making them unable to resist, the packs murmured confused as the children and elders did as they told.

‘The rest of you be sober’ I command making any drunk teens and adults snap out of it.

‘Violet what’s going on’ Derek and many other members mind linked me and Alayna.

‘silence’ I commanded making them all quiet down and look at me in shock that I actually used a command on them my close friends looking hurt but this calls for drastic measures.

 ‘All of you get ready there’s a battle coming, get the weapons ready’ I commanded and watched as some pack members went inside to get the weapons.

‘Violet what’s happening’ I heard Trent ask.

‘Alayna had a vision’ I stated and knew the others understood.

‘Shit’ I heard Damon curse and members from our two packs began to panicky. We all knew her visions were never good.

‘Calm down’ Alayna hissed through the link making them still.

‘The weapons are ready alpha’ a pack member linked.

‘good now-‘ Before I finished the scent of death almost knocked me off my feet, I snapped my head towards the edge of the forest in alarm to see multiple black to pink eyes appear. Their eye change depending on their strength and none have red eyes, eyes that show the ultimate power no one but one.

Naberious, their king but I don’t fell his presence yet so that may be a good sign.

‘Remember you’re training’ I spoke to everyone as most went to shift but refrained themselves.

Pack members came from the house with weapons while I growled as some demons hissed and came closer, sensing the presence of holy water. Ugh, if this thing wasn’t useful I would have fired it into space.

“What do you want you little demons” I growled out as one with dark pink eyes came forwards smirking making me narrow my eyes at him.

“We just came here for some fun” He tilted his head staring at us “and what more fun than to crash a mutt’s party” He grinned showing his sharp rows of teeth while some of the demons chuckled.

I narrowed my eyes at him before willing the shadows to grab him making the others hiss.

“Don’t forget you’re on my turf” I gestured around making the shadows that were increasing as the sun set shift. They were smart enough to come at sunset when my sister can’t bend the light to hurt them, sure my shadows are strong but their also creatures of shadows so it doesn’t do the damage light does.

“Now why are you here” I growled out.

“Like we would ever tell you bitch” A girl hiss.

Geez demon girls were such bitches.

I was about to retort when they suddenly attacked.

I side stepped a demon charging at me and put my hand through his back before ripping out his heart.

I shifted a little to the right as a punch came and grabbed their arm and flipped them making sure to twist their arm to break it before putting my hands through her chest ripping and squeezing her heart out.

I ducked making a demon that jumped at me crash to the ground before elongating my claws decapitating him.

Geez I’m going to have a lot of blood to get rid of after this, the nails being the hardest.

I ducked as a demon went to round kick me and swiped my foot under them making them fall back. I twisted around just in time to catch a katana before continuing my course decapitating the demon under me.

‘Thanks Derek’ I thanked him as I decapitated another demon.

‘No problem’ he chuckled.

I heard gunshots and hisses of pain along with slashes and the shift in the wind and guns, knives and swords were used.

------------------- No POV

As the battle escalated on more blood were shed, whether red or black family and friends were lost.

Alayna’s vision did not describe just how much bloodshed there would be. There was no end to the demons as they fought.

Alayna fought alongside her mate using her powers as she ran out of holy bullets, the others with their mates and pack members as they fought alongside making sure they have each other’s backs.

No one has ever seen so much demons, this bloody battle unexpected.

In the middle of it all Trent fought determined to protect Violet as he kept an eye on the black haired beauty watching as she killed the demons with ease fluently using her katana blood beginning to cover the dress she wore that was now ripped almost tattered her eyes glowing bright red.

To him she still looked beautiful. A demon nearby took advantage of his distraction and quickly tackled him her sharp teeth heading towards his neck.

Trent used his claws to rip its heart out of her chest before she bit down and quickly got up and looked around trying to once again find his black haired beauty, his mate.

She was nowhere to be found however as he looked around. She can take care of herself, he reassured himself but he couldn’t help the bad feeling unsettling him and his wolf.

Violet felt his eyes on her as she fought but paid no mind.

She continued to skillfully and ruthlessly kill the demons that came at her ignoring her personal demon. Her mate.

As she decapitated another demon she froze as she felt another presence, one that sent shivers down her back. She couldn’t tell if they were good or bad but went towards the presence hoping Alayna was not far behind as she felt the presence, but Alayna didn’t.

Somehow Violet was the only one to notice this presence unknown to her as she continued.

Weirdly no demons followed her but she ignored it as she continued on. Coming into a clearing she smelt a strong scent of ashes and death but it didn’t really bother her as much as it should, in fact it smelt powerful with an underlying scent.

Violet 

I felt my wolf shift as I looked up towards a flat rock facing the sky to see someone, power and darkness coming from him in waves staring at the full moon.

I shivered from his aura and gasped dropping my katana as he turned towards me.

He was the most beautiful handsome man alive, more than Trent in fact Trent who? I stared star struck in a daze along with my wolf as he gracefully jumped from the rock and came towards me his face handsomely passive.

I was captivated by his red eyes that glowed in the dark like most said mine did. There’s something nudging me in the back of my mind but my wolf and I ignored it as this handsome specimen came towards us. No one has ever made me or my wolf feel this way before.

He stopped a few inched from me and took my time to examine his features. He’s dark hair, bright red eyes his subtle face making him look even manlier and dangerous.

He looks familiar thought?  Other than the eyes and subtle

All thoughts were lost as he raised his hands and placed them on my right cheek. My wolf and I purred leaning more into he’s touch feeling faint sparks and some kind of energy went through us.

His hand move and put a lock of hair behind my ears before gently kissing my forehead making my eyes close as the sparks increase.

“Soon love soon”

His entrancing voice ringed outmaking me feel bliss. I opened my eyes puzzled to find him gone and felt something within my hand.

I opened my palm to see a scarlet rose in fact the whole clearing was now full of them. I stared entranced before snapping back to earth along with my wolf.

A scarlet rose, the boy from years ago. I felt a smile play at my lips as I stared at the roses.

Before looking up at the sky shocked by what I saw.

What’s happening?

----------- No POV

As she fought Alayna became uneasy, her worries have not seized since her vision. Her mate sensed her distress but could not help her as he was fighting the demons coming at them.

There’s nothing to worry about. Alayna tried to reassure herself.

Calm down.

She looked around the field to reassure herself but grew worried as her she didn’t find the one she was looking for.

No No this can’t be its just like I saw in my vision. Alayna began panicking frantically looking around the field for her sister.

Alayna froze along with everyone in the field, wolves and demons alike as a strange sensation went through them.

‘It’s too late’ Alayna thought sadly looking towards the sky were many stars began to move circling around the moon that appeared to be glowing much brighter than before.

‘It’s been triggered’ She thought as she watched the beautiful phenomenon happening along with everyone else, however beauty can be deadly.

After staring at the sky for how long Alayna looked back towards the field to see no demons. She looked around confused seeing ashes from the demons corpse no ‘living’ demons.

She froze as she felt a lingering presence, the same presence she felt in her vision but relaxed a little her guard still up as it disappeared. Alayna looked back up at the sky as the moon’s light begin to dim down and the stars begin to return to their original place however their path of light could still be scene as it slowly deemed.

“Oh Violet what have you done?” Alayna whispered.

Violet

I looked teared my gaze away from the sky towards the clearing to find the roses gone the only one remaining in my palm.

What just happened? I asked myself as I stared at the rose trying to comprehend these past events.

‘I don’t know’ my wolf whispered ‘but when that man appeared I felt something I never felt before and a word out of instinct came forth but it’s on the tip of my tongue, no matter how much I try to comprehend it I can’t’ she whispered the last part.

I just stared at the rose in my hand smiling faintly.

The boy from years ago huh. I feel like I fell in love with Scarlet roses all over again and something else.

‘Violet’ My wolf called out to me while I just hummed in response twirling the rose in my hand.

‘You know the only person, demon that has red eyes like that…..’ my wolf trailed off while my smile faltered as I stopped twirling my rose.

“Naberious” I whispered.

‘Remember Alayna’s words Violet’ My wolf whimpered.

‘It’s just during this battle, someone will trigger something, something that has been going on for centuries’

My smile was completely wiped as I remembered her words and looked up at the sky the stars trail of light that was disappearing.

‘We just triggered a century old conflict’ my wolf stated while I groaned.

“Oh great” I grumbled before looking down at my rose.

“But I think it was worth it” I smiled faintly remembering the encounter.

That night everyone, humans and supernaturals alike witnessed this phenomenon.

None of them with the answer as to how and why this was happening other than them.
