What I liked about this book:

V.A.P.I deserves better than Wattpad. It's hilarious, really well-thought-out, and has a lot of poignant shit to say. The main character is a fuckup youth named Snake, who during various points of the book gets into very bluntly-mentioned shenanigans like stealing his friend's ADD medication and getting high off it. It's clear through the prose how much Snake just doesn't give a shit about anything.

The formatting is also pretty unique. There are a lot of lists of things that seem irrelevant but aren't, and pictures that occasionally show up of stuff Snake is talking about. It's like reading a diary, and like a really closely-written one at that.

What I did NOT like about this book:

It's not finished yet. It also doesn't update often enough.

It's probably in poor taste for anyone not into this kind of humor, but that's a taste issue and not a prose issue. The prose could use some cleaning up. A lot of the chapters are not appropriate for me to read in the office, which is disappointing.

This really isn't the kind of book you take seriously. It could use some polish and is definitely a first draft, but it's overall extremely clever.

Overall:

I love this book, but don't take it very seriously. You shouldn't either.

Rating:

Like an 8/10. It's not the most poignant book I've ever read in my life but it's pretty damn good. It's probably one of the best humor pieces I've come across on here, if not the best humor piece.
