What I liked about this book:

I had to tone this review down because I discovered the author is thirteen. I suppose it's not terrible for something from someone that age.

What I did NOT like about this book:

The author's note mentions how this will one day be a published book. I have some bad news for you. This book is nowhere near publishable or even approaching publishable.

None of the characters have any personality, and it's written by someone who clearly doesn't understand what high school is actually like. This makes sense given the author's age, but most of it is a jumbled mess that reads more like a summary than a book. The thing that stood out the most to me was some dude who still hated a kid who ruined his tenth birthday party...said dude was eighteen.

I also question why a 13 year old is writing books that are 'pg14 or 15 and up'.

The prose was also peppered with spelling and grammar errors and was formatted in a way that made it very difficult to read. Please run this by an editor before rewriting it.

I think you are probably too young to try to handle a novel of this scope.

Overall:

Continue writing, but give it a few years before you try to write a teen drama.
