What I liked about this book:

The worldbuilding here is very well thought out.

What I did NOT like about this book:

This book has 138 chapters. I threw in the towel after a dozen or so, with this look on my face:

The prose is terrible, and there is no plot to speak of. It's written in weird first-that's-really-third-omniscient that doesn't explain anything, except for the sexuality and appearance of each female lead down to minute details. Things pop out of nowhere. The author just outright tells us all of it. Oh, and it head-hops.

None of the characters have any personality, and the writing was dry. I am giving it a 70% chance the gay MC and her 'straight' friend wind up boning at some point. It's strangely sexist, and reminds me of some other pieces on here I've particularly disliked.

Tl;dr this just wasn't a good book, and I don't think I could make it through a hundred plus fucking chapters of it. If it had a normal amount I might have finished, though I still would have hated it.
