What I liked about this book:

This is another one of my 'favorite books on Wattpad' reviews. Pandean has crafted a beautiful world with magic that works and makes sense, gorgeous imagery, and a plot that is easy to follow. The hook at the beginning of the book is extremely effective, and got me into reading this book as soon as I picked it up.

Soren and Janneke are both well-crafted, Janneke even moreso because she is our main character, and we see everything out of her eyes. She's tortured, restless, and so very strong, and it's gripping watching her struggle with who she is, and against what she is turning into. Even if in the end it winds up being for the better.

What I did NOT like about this book:

Honestly? I don't have a whole lot negative to say about White Stag. The last time I picked it up was a while ago, but it's one of the few books on Wattpad I have read most of the way through more than once. The one thing that really bugged me was the seed thing at the end, but it would absolutely floor me if this wasn't corrected in editing, and I believe Pandean said she had something to fix this that wasn't in the book the last time I read it to the end.

Overall:

White stag 100% deserved the publication deal. I can't wait to get a copy in print.

I really want to give this a 10/10. I can't though because then the official published copy can't rate higher, so I'm giving it a 9/10 instead so it can exceed my already-high expectations.
