What I liked about this book:

The cadence in a lot of these is really on point. They're pretty easy to read and short, and they pack a punch.

What I did NOT like about this book:

A lot of these poems sorta wander. I'd like to see them shortened and tightened up so there's a logical flow from A to B throughout rather than bouncing around from idea to idea.

I really don't want to say anything too negative about these, because they very much feel like the author's catharsis and/or a diary entry. They're really not for me, but I hope they helped the author while writing them.

Overall:

Poetry is really hard to review solidly. These are decent poems but not for me and I felt kind of intrusive trying to give them a lot of feedback.

Rating:

I'd rather not put a score here because like I said, they read like a diary entry.
