What I liked about this book:

This book had some very interesting characters that I probably would have liked to learn more about. Dierdre is feisty, Jan is vivacious, Charlie's a goof, and I can't decide whether Gabriel is evil or not. It's a nice mixed cast of personalities that I could see myself really getting behind had it been presented right.

What I did NOT like about this book:

It wasn't presented right. 

The book droned on and on about shit I don't care about, such as what kind of clothes the characters are wearing and how their backstories are intertwined. It was unpleasant to read, boring, and honestly kind of a mess. I had no idea by the end how everyone was interrelated because it was written in such a confusing manner.

Everything just sort of seemed to happen with no warning. They go to a party. Stuff happens at the party. Cam gets kidnapped, I think? Then Gabriel tries to blame Dierdre for his missing sister, who is apparently living with her, but this whole dynamic confused the hell out of me. Then they go rescue Cal and figure out he's at an opera house...somewhere.

This just wasn't written clean. I might enjoy it more if it was, but it wasn't.

Overall:

It just sort of annoyed and confused me, and it droned to boot.
