　　THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY. That's the only way that Darcy Walker and Sidney Prescott could describe each other to other people in conversation, and to themselves.

　　There was always an unspoken thing between them in high school. Deep feelings and fleeting touches that left their skin burning and longing for more, yet they never acted on them, not even after a stolen kiss at a party one year. Sidney started dating Billy Loomis, and Darcy Walker had to try and forget about her. They both forced themselves to move on from something that was never even a real thing.

A U T H O R　N O T E
After rewatching the newsest Scream Franchise films yet again, I decided to bring back my old Sidney Prescott fic. Shout-out to those who remember Miss Bonnie Chamberlain and to everyone who supported the older version of this fic! I am very excited to be sharing the new version of this fic with you all!

Now, with this revamp, there are some changes that have been made, the most obvious being that Bonnie Chamberlain doesn't exist anymore. The main character has been revamped and her story has been altered into a new character named Darcy Walker. And yes, she is related to Charlie Walker, if you haven't already figured that out. I've also expanded on the Walker family by giving Charlie a younger brother, casting his parents and giving them proper backstories.
