She's written multiple amazing books on Wattpad (such as Wicked, Sinful, and Saints)and her unique writing skills have amassed almost 4 million views on this platform. continue reading to find out more about this remarkable writer and her interesting life.

When and why did you start writing?

I started writing when I was ten and consequently wrote a very bad book. After that I kind of stopped until I was sixteen, because I got busy with other stuff and didn't have that much time anymore. It was only after we had to write a creative essay in class that I remembered my love for it again.

How did you find out about Wattpad and what made you join it?

My best friend recommended a story on Wattpad to me around the same time and reading it really made me want to write again too. So, I did after six months, hence why my username isn't thought-out at all haha. I never expected to use this account.

Where do you get inspiration or ideas for your writing?

It can be anything really. Either I hear a song and some lyrics stick with me or I read a poem and feel the need to write using a word in it which I find particularly beautiful. Mostly it's just me daydreaming and then I go ahead and spill my thoughts on paper.

What is the book/piece of writing you are most proud of?

At the moment I'd say Kisses after Midnight, as it's my most recent book and I feel like my writing has greatly improved in comparison to my old ones. Either that or Ruination, which is a poetry book of mine.

What advice would you give to a new writer?

Just keep on writing! A lot of people ask me how to get readers and though it is nice to have feedback on your story, in the end you write for yourself. So just keep on writing something you're proud of or enjoy and the readers will come themselves. Nothing makes you improve as much as practice.

Who/what has influenced you the most as a writer?

Poetry, really. I adore describing people and the more poetry I read the more I tried to interweave that in my stories. forming an image of someone without just telling their eye and hair color is really something fun for me.

Do you get a lot of hate? And if so, how do you deal with it?

No, thankfully. People did bother me about updates (with a spam of "UPDATE!!!!!" or "fucking update" comments), but I posted a message about it and they stopped. If someone ever does give you hate though, remember that in the end your profile is *your* space, so you decide who can enter it.

What is the hardest part about writing for you?

Staying committed to one story for long enough. I just have this habit of ending them after thirty-something chapters because I want to start with a new one (I have so many drafts at this moment and it's not okay anymore). I'm going to try to change that and stick with my stories longer, as there's always room to explore.

If you could tell your (writing) self-anything, what would it be?

Stop writing three chapters in one day and start studying!! (unless it's a holiday, then you can do whatever you want)

What is a successful author, in your opinion?

That's a difficult one actually. It's so many things at once, but I'd say for me it's to have published a book. If I ever held one of my books in my hands I'd probably die of happiness.

How do you come up with names for your characters?

I find them on websites for baby names. It's then just a matter of picking out the ones I like or sound well together. The ads I get after those websites are always quite funny though. Google really is out here thinking I'm a teen mom with thousands of ethnically different kids.

What kind of music do you enjoy the most or listen to while writing?

Mostly pop and hip hop (primarily Dutch hip hop, as I'm Dutch myself. If anyone's curious, Culo by Bizzey is my heart and soul haha.) I never listen to music while writing though, because I want to have a clear head while doing so. I do however get ideas for writing while listening to songs and as I'm listening to music 24/7 that's a lot.

What are you usually doing when you aren't writing?

I'm in my second year of college and it's mainly partying, meeting up with people or studying. My best friend and I live in an apartment together and we paint and draw together each Friday with wine and a sappy movie, so that's fun as well. Besides that, I also am in the central organization of my sorority( I'm PR), so I organize the parties and events Monday to Friday and then work in a hospital as a volunteer on the weekends.

What book/author has influenced or impacted your writing the most?

The books I read are nothing like the ones I write to be honest, as I usually only read psychological thrillers or horrors( my fav.) I love books which make me think, like Kafka's Metamorphosis or Dostoyevsky's Crime and Punishment. When Breath Becomes Air was also a book which has still stayed with me, heartbreakingly so. These are all books which shaped my mind in a certain way, but my writing is mostly just a result of my daydreaming.

If you were to describe yourself in 3 words, what would they be?

Spontaneous, social, Slytherin

What is your favorite underrated/underappreciated novel (either published or on Wattpad)?

Okay, I'm ashamed to admit that I almost never read on Wattpad, however I finished The Filthy Golden by rottenlyrosy and I think it's a gorgeous book. Besides that Crown of Glass by rubyruins is so well thought-out as well, absolutely beautiful.

What was your dream job when you were younger?

Doctor! and well, as I'm a second-year medicine student, I'm on my way there. on another note it also was becoming a mermaid, but alas.

Who is your hero?

My mother, definitely. I love her to death

Are you a morning person or a night owl?

Such a night owl. Honestly rip my sleep schedule, because I stay awake until seven AM these days and wake up at four PM. I'd like to blame quarantine but unfortunately, I have to accept it's just my own fault at this point.

What is something most people don't know about you?

The fact that I write on here [Wattpad]. Literally only my best friend knows. Other than that, I have no tip of my tongue.

Ingri, thank you so much for your time! It was lovely talking to you and getting to know you better.
