Bluebellsnow

Sapphire had the pleasure of interviewing Bluebellsnow.  Angie is the author of His Smile..., Can't You See? (A Zhuiling fanfic) and several other great stories.

Hi! We will start the interview now. But before that, what pen name and pronouns would you like to go by?

You can call me Angie or you can also call me Anne, they are both fine; and feminine pronouns thanks.

Okay then, Angie! Now for our first question, how did you get yourself into writing? When did you realize that you wanted to be a writer?

I realized that I wanted to be a writer since I read Harry Potter. I really loved the content and I just started writing :). I also had a lot of creativity so I decided not to let it go to waste too!

Wow! I agree, Harry Potter and its author inspired a lot of people to pursue their talent in writing! How did you discover Wattpad? Was it self-discovered or someone recommended you?

I discovered Wattpad by searching for Yizhan stories on Google. I thought that writing online stories were going to be fun as well so I made an account!

Yeah, Wattpad really is fun! Almost all new writers are guilty of writing cliche, and loving it. What is that cliche moment or book you wrote that you loved the most?

Hmm, that's really hard. The best cliche moment while writing was probably when it comes to similes. I love opposites attract the best, because it's packed with cliche and weirdness!

Yes, it will get boring if the protagonists agree with each other all the time lol. Well, from all the genres, why did you choose to write fanfiction?

I chose to write fanfics because I think they're easier to write. I actually considered fantasy at first but I found that it was too hard to form a plot and I found that fanfics were easy for coming up with a plot. They already provide the main character (sort of) and it's almost as if the plot's there for you if that makes sense :)

Nice! Now let us proceed, Aside from your idols who or what inspired you into writing fanfics?

That is a very good question, even I don't know the answer of ;) No one really inspired me to write fanfics, I think I just wanted to write about that person and then I found out that it was called fanfiction. But there is a person that inspired me to write more fanfics and that is TrushaJi jie. She writes the best fanfictions!!

Oh! What would you like to tell her then?

I love how you reply to our comments! Also, love how hilarious you can be at times lol :) Thank you for being so supportive as well!

That is such a nice and sweet message, I'm sure she will love it! Do you write for fun, as a hobby, or do you want to take it as a professional career? Why?

That question is kinda complicated because my answer is both. I love writing and I would write every single moment when I'm not asleep if given the chance! I would also love to take writing as a profession! According to all the authors that our school has requested an interview from, most of them said that they love reading the comments their editors made. That sounds fun for me too, and I would sure love any mail that I get if I become an author. (if I get any lol)

Yes, yes indeed, comments from readers and fans are the most satisfying reward any writer could have! Speaking of writing, how do you generate ideas from your book? Are most of them simply based on your imagination or some of these are based or inspired from real life experiences?

I just think up random ideas as I write because I don't really want to keep the readers waiting for too long. Sometimes, half of my ideas are based on real-life events but most of them are my pure imagination :).

So you update almost daily then :). One of the interviewees from the past stated that she could not write when she is exposed in a hot environment. For you, what unusual habit or necessity of yours that is needed to be fulfilled for you to concentrate in writing properly?

One of my unusual habits while writing is that I have to listen to music while I write. I don't know why, but that just makes me write faster. Is that unusual?

I think so. I prefer a quiet place with nice lighting to be able to concentrate, so I consider you listening to music unusual :). For you, what is the hardest thing that you encounter in writing?

The hardest thing that I encounter in writing is probably the plot and how to keep it un-cliche, interesting and at the same time make it... kind of run smoothly. That's probably the hardest thing because if you make sudden changes in the plot and the reader doesn't understand, you'll probably go, you know.

Yeah, consistency is an important thing that you need to keep in mind to make the readers understand and be interested in your story. What kind message would you like to say for the people who are constantly bashing or harshly and publicly showing their hatred towards your Idols?

I would kindly thank them for caring about my idol anyways lol.

Great! If you can fill in the blank, Writing for me is _____, what word would you choose and why?

I would put "the best" because it's like a door to another universe. Once you start, you don't want to stop (at least for me XD). It's also another way to express myself, as I don't do really well with talking in real life.

Hmm, I agree with that one. Plus at least you won't feel like you force others to listen to you XD. What did you feel while writing your first ever book? Were you excited? Anxious? And why?

When I wrote my first book, all I felt was seriousness because I really wanted the story to be liked by others. I was also really excited/anxious after I published the first chapter because it was the first story I have ever published online. I felt anxious because I was scared people would judge me, but I don't really care about that now.

I also felt anxious when I wrote my first book XD. If you could describe writing for you in just 3 words, what would it be and why?

Oof that is hard. Writing for me in 3 words would be; The, Very, Best. Lol just joking. The 3 words are; Fantastic, Fun and Complicated.

It's fantastic because you can just let yourself out and write whatever you like.

It's also fun because I personally loved writing (and I still do!) since I was around 6 years old. It's also because I always love to write little jokes somewhere in my chapter and then I would giggle secretly to myself.

It's complicated because you need to think about what to write about next and come up with a plotline that wouldn't change too suddenly, because that would confuse the reader (second time I said that XD).

Yeah I noticed you are super enthusiastic when it comes to writing, your love for it really overflows! What is an unusual fact about you that you would like your readers and fans to know?

Uh, there's too many. Probably the fact that my personality type is INFJ-T, although that probably has nothing to do with writing lol.

Can you elaborate what INFJ-T is? We will be glad to know some characteristics of it!

So, INFJ is the rarest personality type in the world, with only 1% of humans being INFJ. INFJ-T is one of the two types of INFJs, along with INFJ-A. Some people call INFJ personality type people the "advocate".

Some other facts about me is that I am an Aquarius leftie (left-handed), I love dancing and not trying to flex but my back can bend like a boomerang UwU.

Wow and here I am who can't even split •_•. Are you more of a dreamer or a doer? What do you think this contributed to you when writing?

I think it really depends on what I'm going to do, but I'm more of a doer. One way it might've contributed to me when I was writing is that I think about what I'm going to write and I write what I think about. Now I'm getting confused over myself lol.

Lol it's okay. L in CLN stands for confusion. Now, are you confused? Haha just kidding XD. Are you more of an early bird or an owl? Why?

LOL, that got me even more confused. I'm actually both XD. I have to wake up super early because there's school but I have to sleep late because I want to write my stories.

Neutral is the trend! If there is one quality that stands out best when it comes to becoming a writer, what do you think that one quality is and why do you think that everybody, especially aspiring writers should acquire it?

One thing that really matters to me when I read someone's story/book is how they set the plot and what led to the problem. Writers should really pay attention to the plot and how the problem is created because they are the main parts of the story. I recommend some new writers to write really unnecessary details and form a problem from the really tiny details. I can't really give examples, as there wouldn't be enough time for me to write a whole story (XD), so if you get what I mean, well, good job.

Good job for me then XD. And yeah I totally agree. A problem that just pops out of nowhere is downright weird. To your readers and fellow Blinks, what would you like to tell them?

I would like to thank each and every one of my readers, even if they don't vote or comment. To my fellow BLINK friends, I would like to say:

I DARE YOU TO WRITE A PARAGRAPH USING THE MOST BLACKPINK SONGS YOU COULD USE

To everyone, may the Phoenix be with you, as CLN says XD.

Thank you! And that is all for the interview! On behalf of CLN, I thank you for your time and patience for this interview!

Thanks <3<3. No worries :)
