Namjoon told the others the great news, and they headed to the hospital—Namjoon, her brother Jimin, and Jin.

They are gathered around the room but hanging back as Suga is next to you, holding your hand. His head rests on the edge of the bed, crying, keeping your hand close to his cheek. 

He whispers, "Baby doll, come back. I can't keep living in this world without you. It's too hard for me."

 He brings your hand to his lips and gently kisses your palm, whimpering, "I need you, Novi."

Your fingers tighten around his. You can hear him—from deep in the darkness of another strange world. In your mind, you feel you are climbing out of the twisted chaos you have been trapped under—images that don't make sense. You feel the warmth of his skin, so real, but something more, and you realize it's his tears. This is real!

Suga feels your fingers move under his and freezes. He lifts his head and tenderly whispers your name. "Novi?"

Your eyelids flutter as a tear slips from one corner. He stands still, holding your hand, his gaze locked on your face, the beauty he has missed seeing each day. Then, your eyes open as tears fall.

"Where have you been?" your voice barely above a whisper from disuse. You smile at him, not expecting an answer as you don't know where you've been either.

A joyous uproar follows your question. Jimin rushed to the other side of your bed. He can't even speak for sobbing. He leans across you, trying to hug you. He settles for hugging you and Suga together, as Suga won't let you go.

Tae is standing at the back of the group, leaning on the wall observing all of them so happy for you. He hangs back smiling only when one of them would turn their gaze his way.

Finally, he can't take the love in your eyes as you and Suga look at each other.

"I'm going out for a smoke." They barely acknowledge him.

He hears two familiar voices and notices them, two men in white lab coats heading toward your room. He straightens and looks at you. Just then a nurse comes in and he uses her as a means of slipping out unnoticed by the two men.

The nurse, smiling but stern reprimands them for being so loud. "This is a hospital gentlemen. I'm happy for you but we do have other patients."

Mary comes rushing in, done with her shift, practically dancing on her toes. She goes to Namjoon her smile so bright as he beams with joy at her. He kisses her and they hold tightly to each other as they look at you, your brother and Suga holding onto each other.

The two men enter the room as the nurse turns to leave. "Good morning Doctor Jung, Dr. Jeon."

"Morning nurse Nunnelly." says Doctor Jung.

 Doctor Jeon nods saying, "Good morning."

Doctor Jung approaches your bed and Suga and Jimin step away allowing the doctors to be with you.

"Well, good morning Miss Park." He smiles as he holds your wrist to check your pulse,  "It's a beautiful day for you to wake up to." He smiles pulling his little flashlight out and shinning it in your eyes. 

You flinch as it makes your eyes hurt. He sees you grimace. "Sorry, Miss Park. I know it has been a long while since your beautiful eyes have seen light but I'm done now." He pats your hand and with his other puts the little flashlight back in his pocket.

"Miss Park?" asks Doctor Jeon, "How are you feeling?"

You look at both the doctors. "Have I met you before?"

Doctor Jung smiles reassuring you that this is normal for someone coming out of a coma. "It will be alright Miss Park. It may be slow but things will come back and make sense now that you're ho . . ."

"Now that you're awake." interrupts Doctor Jeon.

Doctor Jung gives his intern a thankful look. He almost said 'now that you're home'.

Tae has left the hospital avoiding Hope and Jakay. He goes around the back of the hospital into the alleyway. As the trash truck moves further down the alley, he steps out from behind the fence and stands between two dumpsters after checking for any people near by.

Sure that no one has spotted him. He pulls a vape out of his pocket and releases a large cloud of smoke, and then laughs, "Smoke breathing Dragon, my ass."

He inhales again and laughs . . . stepping into the swirling blue light of his portal, saying, "Till we meet again Princess."

From the second floor window Doctor's Jung and Jeon see the signs of an opening and share a glance. Doctor Jeon quickly leaves your room.

He runs around the end of the fence and checks the alleyway, but Tae is no where to be seen, the surrounding air is still alive with unseen molecules in chaos, he can feel it.

"Dammit!" Jakay runs back inside and pulls Dr. Jung aside. "He's gone!"

Outside your hospital room where you can't hear them Dr. Jung speaks to his intern. "They will find him. He has broken our laws and the time authorities will hunt him down."

"This means death for him doesn't it?" Jakay asks concern furrowing his brow.

"He almost killed her, almost, so he may still get to live but not allowed to travel any longer."

Dr. Jung places his hand on his interns shoulder. "Don't fall in love unless, like Jin you stay where your love is and no longer travel, unnecessarily that is. I appreciate your help on this one."

"But Jin is here in her room now. I don't understand."

"His love was accidently killed so he is no longer bound by our laws to stay, but he chooses to because he is bound by his love for Sophia and this city."

"Ahh." Jakay nods in understanding. "I don't mind helping where I can, but I'm glad to be back home with Sara."

"You're a good man Jakay and I know you will make a great dad." He pats his shoulder proud of how far Jakay has come as a Traveler.

"Let's go get a coffee and a snack." Dr. Jung keeps his hand on his interns shoulder.

"Can I have a banana milk instead?" asks Jakay.

Dr. Jung laughs. "Sure you can." They head down to the hospitals cafeteria smiling that Novi and Yoongi are back together. 

In the cafeteria is a 'Doctors Only' fridge in the back of the kitchen and Hope makes sure to keep it stocked with banana milk from 1974. It stays under lock and key, the key which he carries.
