The next morning I woke up and Vincent was gone. I walked downstairs and saw Vincent making toast for Mike. I laughed softly and walked into the kitchen. Vincent looked at me and the toaster popped. Vincent grabbed the toast and smiled.
"Hey Mike this toast is for your mom do you want to get it for her" Vincent said smirking
"Yeah" Mike said smirking the same way, Vincent grabbed the toast and flung it at Mike. I gasped but Mike caught the toast tossing it onto a plate next to him. I laughed and sat down as Vincent joined us.
"I taught him that" Vincent said and I rolled my eyes
"We have to get Mike enrolled in preschool and go shopping for him." I said
"What do we need to go shopping for" Mike asked
"We are going to get you stuff for your bedroom, some toys, clothes and other things you will need." I replied taking another bite of my toast. "And seriously how do you make toast so good" I asked Vincent
"MAGIC BIYSH" he shouted making mike giggle
"Vincent please don't use that language we have children in the house" I said trying to swallow my laughter but failing horribly. I finish my toast and went off to go get ready. I threw on black, grey, and white leggings with a black tanktop and a blue jean jacket. I threw my hair up into a pony and but on my black flats. I walked downstairs and grabbed my computer.

Consider South Canyon Lutheran Church's Friend-Ship Preschool. Curriculum

The year at Friend-Ship Preschool includes lots of choices! Some activities included in the daily routine are creative dramatics, stories and music, listening games, independent learnng centers, gross and fine motor activities, science, math and reading readiness. Units include such themes as Terrific Trees, Let's Go!, Creepy Crawlies, Dinosaurs. Parents are welcome to visit and join in the fun!

Good enough, I'm sure Mike will love to go here. I wrote down the adress and phone number and closed my computer.
"VINCENT" I yelled and he poked his head around the corner.
"Yes" he said
"We are going to the preschool first get Mike ready please" I said
"Why can't you do it" Vincent complained
"Because I'm getting him enrolled" I eeplied, Vincent nodded and went back around the corner. I sighed and grabbed my phone. I punched in the preschool's number
"Hello" a lady picked up "this is friendship preschool" she sounded cheery
"Hi yes I would like to enroll my son Mike he is 3 almost 4, I just adopted him and I figured since the school year is just starting he could join you guys" I said
"Oh we would love to have him join us here at Friendship Preschool are you able to come in today" the lady asked
"Yes actually what time would you like us to come in" I said
"Would 10:30 be alright with you we could talk while some of the students arrive. He can navigate the place and get to know some of the children." The lady replied
"10:30 it is I will bring Mike along with us" I said
"Okay see you then bye" the lady said
"Bye" I replied and we hung up.
10:00
"VINCENT MIKE WE HAVE TO GET IN THE CAR" I yelled grabbing my car keys and purse. Vincent ran around the corner with a squealing Mike in his arms. I opened the door and Vincent put Mike into his carseat, I hopped in the driver's seat and Vincent got into the passengers seat. I drove off putting the location of the preschool into my GPS. It would take up at least 20 minutes to get there so we should have time to spare, should make a good first impression. I turned on my music and Vincent started humming along. Mike began to hum too, I giggled a little and hummed along with them.
Time skip to the preschool
I pulled into the parking lot being sure to go slow. I got out and Vincent carried Mike on his shoulders. Then Vincent grabbed my hand, he smirked and nodded
"Now we look like a family" Vincent said as we walked into the church. I rolled my eyes as we walked down a long hallway to a small classroom. There was a jungle theme to it with a pirate ship in one corner some tables set up in the back of the room. There were cubbies lining the back wall waiting for children to hang coats and put backpacks into. A whiteboard in the front with one rocking chair and a space where children sat was at the front of the classroom. The white board had a frog drawn on it with the words welcome today is September 27 1983 in 32 years from now there will be a super blood moon eclipse. It will be sunny with a high of 78 and a low of 42.
"Wow this place is cool" Vincent said looking around, I nodded and a woman came through the door. She looked at us and smiled
"Welcome to Friendship Preschool my name is Cindy I am the teacher here. I heard about a kid named Mike" Cindy said walking over to us, looking up at Mike. He smiled and Vincent put him down. Mike immediately hid behind my legs and poked his head around.
"Hey Mike this will be your teacher how about you go and play while we talk." I said
"I will go with you" Vincent said and Mike pulled his purple hand off to the coloring station. I laughed a little and Cindy led me to a table at the right side of the classroom. We sat down and Cindy pulled out a few papers and a pen.
"So Mike seems pretty shy" Cindy said
"Yeah he's not really social, he was involved in an accident that gave him trust issues with other people." I said filling out the papers
"Oh dear at this age what happened" Cindy said
"Well his brother and friends had a party thrown for him. Mike's brother had treated Mike horribly and well when the party day arrived he was pretty traumatized by some of the things his brother did. And his brother put on some masks and shoved him into the mouth of Fredbear and the springlocks failed crushing his skull. He gets scared meeting new people now but he is very warmed up to Vincent here" I said
"Well shouldn't you have done something I mean since you are the parents of this child you should have stopped your other son" Cindy said giving my a look of disapproval
"Oh no i'm not Mike's biological mom. His biological mom died a few years back, I didn't know what was going on until I adopted Mike. Vincent is my boyfriend he was evicted from his house due to a potential chemical hazard effecting the whole neighborhood." I said realizing how crazy that sounded
"Well it seems hard times have fallen upon your family. You will be in my prayers and here at Friendship Preschool Vincent will be more than welcome to stay with Mike during the day. If he won't mind all of the children wondeing why he is purple by the way" Cindy said
"Well it is a gene that runs in his family that causes them to be colors that you see in a typical rainbow. Vincent's mom is red and his father is blue, making him purple. I'm sure Vincent wouldn't mind children asking about his colors." I replied and a few kids bounded through the doorway making Mike jump. They ran over to the cubbies and put there stuff up
"Please excuse me" Cindy said and I nodded filling out the last question in the box "Okay guys you may have free time but there is a new student here today so please don't play roughly" Cindy said the two boys nodded and went off to go play in the pirate ship. I laughed quietly as Cindy came and sat back down. I smiled and Cindy took the papers, she looked them over and put them back on the table.
"I believe you will need the supply list, calender and a list of activities" Cindy said "Mike seems like an excellent student we will help him gain that trust back and help him advance"
"That sounds great" I said and Cindy shook hands with me I walked over to Mike.
"Okay children please be seated we have a new student with us today" Cindy cheered and a rush of kids went to go sit down. I hadn't realized how many had come in. "Okay Mike how about you come to the front of the classroom" Cindy said as Mike reluctantly stepped up. He stood by Cindy looking at his feet
"This is Mike everyone he will be our new student I expect you to treat him with the upmost respect. Say hi Mike" Cindy added
"Hi" he squeaked out, everyone waved and said hi back.
"Okay Mike you are free to go I will see you on Thursday" she said and Mike ran to me. I picked him up and waved walking out the door.
"There was a pretty girl" Mike said
"What was her name" I asked
"Doll" Mike replied
