Todoroki POV

"GET BACK HERE SHOTO!" The man that I can barely call father shouted at me as I tried to leave the house, He terrifies me. "YOU STILL HAVE MORE TRAINING TO DO!" His voice booming followed by the thumping of his boots as he ran after me.

I run as fast as my legs will take me, unsure where I'm running to, I just can't do it anymore. Nobody loves me, my own mother can't stand the sight of me, my father thinks of me as a tool, I don't have any friends... 

The training that he gives me, it's too hard. My body can't take being burnt, bloodied and bruised for much longer, it's gotten to the point I'm vomiting from the intensity and passing  out, I'm also getting frostbite from quirk overuse but I can't use my fire side, I refuse!

Touya running away was the last strand. I don't blame him, what he went through was terrible. My father's shouts for me to get back there get carried away by the wind in the night sky.

My heart is beating 1000 miles an hour, adrenaline pumping through my veins. I have absolutely no idea where I am, its in a weird abandoned looking street. There's not any cars so I can't call for help either. I probably should've thought this out more.

There's not many people around, it's a bit nerve wracking, the unnatural silence is so loud, everything hurts... I just want to die.

Even through the pain I've got to keep going. If he finds me I don't even want to imagine what he will do. Maybe I should just kill myself,no one needs me. My father is the only one that wants me alive so he can use me as a tool to beat all might and become the number one hero because he can't do it himself.

When my father finds me he won't kill me, but he'll torture me and make me wish I were dead.

Slowly, I start to walk to the building, there's a ladder that looks like it goes to the top. I think I'm going to use it, thank you lord for making this easy, Ive suffered enough already.

My hands start shaking as I begin to climb the ladder. I'm about halfway up the ladder, I can see the top nearing, this will be where it all ends... I'll be put out of my misery, finally after all these years.

When I reach the top I hear a small voice in my head chanting 'do it' over and over again, exciting me more and more, slowly I walk to the edge of the building and take off my shoes, placing them on the edge of the building . As well as a short note explaining what happened:

Dear whoever finds this,

I jumped, life was too hard. I won't go into detail but the training I went through was terribly painful. I had no reason to live so I ended my life I guess. It wasn't accidental, I wasn't murdered. So don't even bother trying to find anyone who could've murdered me.

I just sit on the edge of the building watching the empty streets, which sounds stupid but I'm looking out at the abandoned buildings and the old road.

This world so so beautiful... what a shame I have to leave it.

My body is aching, I'll jump soon I just want to enjoy my last few minutes of life before I die.

After a while of staring at nothing in particular I start to stand up, looking over the edge of the building I stare at my fate. Just before I jump I hear a noise and I turn around to see a weird dark misty thing appear and one the other side of it there's what looks like a bar.

There's a weird guy that exits out of the portal looking thing, he has deathly pale skin and the skin underneath his eyes is wrinkled, his lips are chapped and there's scars on his face. The guy's hair is  light blue/grey in colour, it's shaggy and comes down to various lengths, the longest coming down to his shoulders. He's wearing all black and he steps out of the portal and tries to reach for me, and he's slowly moving closer to me.

This is so confusing! All I want to do is jump. I take back all the thank you's I gave the lord for the ladder. Why does it have to be this hard?

I've decided that if I don't jump now I'll probably get stopped by them or someone else. They'll be the 'hero' or whatever. The thought of heroes right now makes me sick to my stomach.

"Hey kid, what do you think you're doing?" The pale blue haired guy says "jumping." I reply bluntly. "And don't even thing of trying to stop me"

"Oh?" he says raising his brow "and why is that?" The guy asks which annoys me. "because life isn't fair and it's stupid," I say turning around to face him with my arms crossed over my chest. "So your quirkless?" This guy is coming to conclusions too fast. "Nope," I activate my left side. His eyes go wide.

I notice the mist portal turning into a more human form with a suit and tie along with five metal plates that go from around his collarbone to just below his eyes.

"Hey kid, would you like to come with us," he pauses "It would be like a second chance at life." He proposes, "you don't have to answer now." The man then adds slowly. I mean I'm already on the run so if I joined these guys it wouldn't really matter. "Sure, what's the worst that could happen?" I decided to agree.

Probably wasn't a good  idea but oh well. I don't even know what this guy wants. "But before I come with you could I get a name?" I should at least know a name. "Oh sure, Tomura Shigaraki." This might not be so bad, he didn't hesitate with giving me a name so that's a good sign.

"Shouldn't we be going?" The mist guy asks probably trying to hurry Shigaraki."Give me a minute, Kurogiri!" Shigaraki says in a slightly childish way.

The mist guy or who I assume to be named Kurogiri had been patiently waiting this whole time, I should try and hurry Shigaraki. "Where are we going?" I ask not knowing how else to hint we need to get going "We're going back to our base," he proudly states.

My father comes back into my mind. He could still be looking for me! We're on a tall building that's visible, he's going to find me! "Could we go now?" I eagerly ask. "Sure," Shigaraki agrees "Kurogiri." He commands.

Kurogiri turns back into the portal "Don't forget your shoes!" Kurogiri reminds me, I completely forgot about those. Shigaraki steps into the portal and motions for me to follow.

I do, stepping into it is weird, the sensation is one I've never felt before. We end up in a bar looking place, the floors are wooden and Kurogiri is in the bar with many bottles of alcohol lined up behind him on shelves, Shigaraki is sitting on one of the bar stools.

"I'm sure you have lots of questions, now's your time." Kurogiri says giving me an opportunity to talk "ask away." He adds.

"What are you?" Shigaraki looks like he's trying to contain excitement when I ask this. Shigaraki starts to do some weird co-ordinated movement looking thing and in sync both of them say "We, are the league of villains."

They're villains. I wonder if they're actually as bad as they're made to be? It was as if Shigaraki read my mind  "We're not as bad as what everyone thinks, believe it or not we too are human" that's probably one of the most sensible things he's ever said to me.

"I don't think we're going to be able to let you go now, you know too much. And to be fair you agreed to come with us." Kurogiri says in an almost mother-like tone.

I figured as much, they couldn't just let me go because I would be able to go and tell authorities, they'd be locked up.

'League of Villains' I don't think I've heard my father talk about them at all but then again I might just not be able to remember.

Then I remember something, I never told these guys my name and I don't think they saw the suicide letter. "By the way, my name is Shoto Todoroki." I decide to tell them "Oh, thank you, young Todoroki." Kurogiri thanks, Shigaraki nodding his head from the bar stool he returned to.

"I have one more question," I'm nervous for what I'm about to ask. "What is it?" Shigaraki asks growing quickly impatient "Could I join you and become a villain," I clasp my hands together and look up at both of them.

Please let me join, please.
