The Miraculous Team just took down another villain and were celebrating their victory.
"Pound it!" The Miraculous Team cheered in unison.
"I'm glad that's finally over." Rena Rouge gladly stated in relief.
"Me too" Queen Bee agreed "Ever since Hawk Moth gained himself a helper, the peacock lady uh..Mayura was it. This has become like 100 times harder."
"Tell me about." Carapace began "Where did she even come from?"
"Hmm, we'll have to figure that out later." Ladybug suggested
"She's right, we should get going cause some of us are about to transform back." Cat Noir interjected
The group splits up to go and detransform. At that time, Ladybug uses her yo-yo to hastily travel through Paris, heading towards her home. With a perfect throw of her yo-yo she launches herself above her balcony and through the door into her room. "Spots off." She said to detransform and she didn't wait long before giving Tikki a cookie, then continued to speak "Tikki, this has become quite the task. Queen Bee's right ever since Mayura showed up this has become so much harder." She said apprehensively.
"Yeah, talk about. It was quite weird her showing up out of nowhere." Tikki inferred
"It was, we have to stop to her." Marinette agreed with great eagerness.
"Do you think Hawk Moth knows who she is?" Tikki asked in curiousity.
"I'm not sure Tikki. I don't think he does, but he might." Marinette replied with ambiguity.
Tikki takes her final bite, finishing the cookie and proceeded to talk "Let's not worry about that now, you have homework to do."
"You're right Tikki." Marinette replied and got out her homework to start it.
In the meantime,Cat Noir was pole-volting himself from rooftop to rooftop until he reaches his house, then he pole-volts himself through his window and on into his room. "Claws in." He said and his suit regressed him to Adrien and he gave his kwami, Plagg a piece of Camembert. "I am wiped" he said with clear exhaustion "after we defeated that villain I was about ready to collapse from all the fatigue"
"Well, the bright side is you and Ladybug aren't fighting villains alone anymore otherwise you would've." Plagg noted
"True" Adrien agreed "I still have homework to do, which reminds me I have to tell Nathalie something." Adrien leaves his room and sees Nathalie coughing and talking to his father. Unaware of what time it was, Gabriel and Nathalie didn't notice Adrien was at home and watchin them from the staircase.
"You have to stop, you are too sick to continue on." Gabriel stated with concern.
"I've already said this sickness will not stop me." Nathalie denied "I will do whatever it takes to help you achieve your goal. If it makes me sick, so be it."
"I will not allow it, if continue helping me the peacock miraculous could kill you." Gabriel affirmed "I've already told you it's damaged. You don't need to help me, I've been doing just fine on my own."
"But without my help" Nathalie continued with concern "you would no longer be Hawk Moth. The heroes would've discovered your identity, taken your miraculous and probably thrown you in jail."
"That's probably true, but that doesn't mean what your doing is a good idea." Adrien ran back to his room silently he closed the door and tried to process what he'd just overheard. He spoke with shock and disbelief lingering in his voice "My father is Hawk Moth?" Adrien didn't want the capacity of what he'd heard to be his reality, knowing what it entailed. "How did I not realize this sooner? What does this mean?"
"It means you dad's a supervillain." Plagg stated bluntly
Adrien's voice was soft and full of saddness "Yes, but..why me? How and why could he have done this? Maybe he.." Adrien's voice trailed off. He wanted to believe what he just heard was a lie or that he was asleep having a nightmare, but it was not.
Seeing Adrien in his saddened state, Plagg made an attempt to comfort him "I know this may be hard for you Adrien. You just .. I don't know."
