Nyx was an experimental biological weapon stored in Raccoon City. It was named after "Nyx", the Greek goddess of the night.

Weakness: Nyx's weak point is actually it's heart which will open after the monster has suffered much damage, a trait that the Nyx took after the Tyrant it absorbed.
