The Lineage
The battle between the Paranormal Liberation Front and Edgeshot's massive team of heroes had eventually came to an end. By the time the battle had came to an end, the mansion of the Paranormal Liberation Front was left in a complete mess. It didn't look like it did in the morning when the unsuspecting residents of it started their day and went along with their plans for the day before the meeting would start, unaware of what was to come and the battle ahead of them.
As a result of the battle, thousands people were captured and their real number was still being counted. Whatever the number was, they knew it was in several thousands and it would take them a while to count everyone and see the real number. No matter what the number of people they captured at the mansion will be, they knew that what they were seeing now was just the tip of the iceberg because they knew that at the same moment all members of this organization were being arrested all over the country.
The captures didn't just involve lower-ranking members, though. Some of the high ranking members of the Paranormal Liberation Front were caught as well. Re-Destro was one of them. The former leader of the Meta Liberation Army and the CEO of Detnerat had injures over his body after getting pierced numerous times by Edgeshot as he was sitting knocked out against the wall, having been knocked out by the top hero after a fierce battle with him.
Edgeshot himself was taken on the side after defeating Re-Destro, feeling utterly exhausted from everything and from his fight with Re-Destro. The fact that he had been injured by Y/N and still being blind in one eye made this fight that much more difficult for him than it normally would. After his fight with Re-Destro, he was taken on side where his eye treated and hiw worst suspicions had been confirmed to him. He had indeed lost sight in one of his eyes and it wasn't just a temporary thing.
The captured high ranking members of the Paranormal Liberation Front didn't include only Re-Destro, though. An unconcious Chimera was covered by a massive block of cement, having been knocked out by a smaller block of cement once Cementoss managed to trap him for longer than usual to make sure he will finally put an end to this fight and Chimera will be put out of action. An exhausted Cementoss was laying not too far from him, having passed out right after making Chimera won't be a threat to anyone on the battlefield anymore.
Ayaka, Giran and Hanabata were among the captured high ranking members of the Paranormal Liberation Front as well. All three of them were caught underground after the heroes entered it once the battle ended and were brought out of it into the daylight where they had been kept bounded alongside the other captured members of their organization who were waiting to be put in the vehicles that would take them to prison where, as all the heroes mutually agreed, all of them belonged.
Despite all of those people getting captured and the Paranormal Liberation Front main plan being completely compromised, the heroes didn't feel like they won and many of them felt bitter and saddened right now as many heroes lost their lives today. Yoroi Musha, Shishido, Snipe, Selkie, Kesagiri man. They were just one of the many heroes who lost their lives today. and they didn't even what to imagine what must have happened with Endeavor's team if Shigaraki woke up.
What made everything worse was the fact that many of the most dangerous and high ranking members of the Paranormal Liberation Front managed to get away. The Mask, Weaponsmith, Himiko Toga, Dabi, Spinner, Magne, Mr. Compress, Skeptic, Curious and two of the Mask's advisers by the name of Kasumi Minene and Daiki Takeuchi were confirmed to have escaped on Gigantomachia's back and were believed to be on the way to Jaku Hospital due to Gigantomachia constantly crying out Tomura Shigaraki's name.
Geten, Slice and Mummy were believed to have escaped as well, but unlike them, they escaped on foot. Them along with at least 356 members of the Paranormal Liberation Front were believed to have escaped in such a way. The number of the escapee's was still up to question, though as they were still counting and all of them knew the number was much bigger with each passing moment. For all they knew, the number could have been over 500 or even bigger. Only time would tell.
Mustard was sitting on the ground in the forest, having been bounded to make sure he won't try to get away and Tomohito and Shishikura who were oppointed as his guards were wearing gas masks, just like they did when they ambushed him, Rappa and Arasaka, to make sure he won't try to release his sleeping gas. The teenage villain shifted his gaze between both of them, narrowing his eyes each time he laid them on Tomohito. Something Tomohito didn't fail to notice and it made him feel a bit uncomfortable.
He shifted his attention away from them a second later, having just heard someone sobbing and saw both Momo, Mina and Hagakure crying while Ojiro tried to comfort Hagakure in some way, despite being close to crying himself. He didn't ask himself why were they crying as he knew the reason for it. It was because of Midnight's lifeless body being discovered not so long ago. Kamui Woods' burned corpse was found not too far from her. Whatever happened to him in his final moments, everyone could tell his last moments were painful as he burned to death after getting hit by the combined attack of Dabi and Mustard.
The teenage villain shook his head to himself, opening his mouth as he spoke up to the heroes in training, having something he had to say to them, "It sucks having someone you care about killed."
Momo pulled her hands away from her face, revealing her tear stained face to him, "What?"
"It sucks having someone you care about killed. Isn't it?" Mustard repeated his question to her, feeling how everyone had their eyes on him right now as he went further into what he had to say to them, "At least you now know how it feels like to have someone you care about killed. You can consider us even for what happened to Twice and Tengai-kun."
Mina glared at him tearfully, "What are you talking about?"
"Are you trying to say we had this coming?" Ojiro asked with an disgusted and angered glare on his face.
Mustard nodded with a hint of hesitation in his voice, "Yes."
"Why would you say something like this? Don't you have any sympathy in you...?" Momo tearfully began to say to him.
"I'd give up on asking him those questions if I were you." Shishikura interrupted her. He glared at Mustard in disgust, "People like him aren't humans. They're more like animals. They just happen to look like humans."
"Fucking hilarious." Mustard let out another laugh, shaking his head at Shishikura's words, "You complain to me about having a lack of sympathy towards you and then one of your friends says something. Why the fuck should we treat you with sympathy while you don't have any for us? You want me to treat you like people while me and my friends are not humans to you."
Shishikura's continued to glare at him, "Why would be treat you as humans? You don't deserve to be treated like ones. Especially after everything you did today..."
"After what we did today? You're talking as if you didn't attack us first and didn't drew the first blood by killing Twice and Tengai-kun." Mustard retorted, glaring back at the Shiketsu student, "You hurt Y/N, Rappa, Mr. Compress and..." He let out a saddened sigh at the thought of the fourth person. He really wished he could be there right now to comfort her, "...Toga by doing what you did to Twice and Tengai-kun. Words can't express just how greatly I value them as people. Why the hell should I give you any sympathy after this? Especially after you tried to justify it?"
"Heroes did what they had to do to everyone from scum like you. If you were a normal guy instead of a villain scum, then you would understand we are doing this to protect this society. What happened to them, I'm sure it had to be done and whoever did it was left with no other choice." Shishikura retorted in return, keeping his eyes narrowed into a glare as he felt nothing but disgust towards the teenager in front of him. To think they were around the same with Mustard being only a year younger than him...
"Here we go again with this justified bullshit You really like to think everything you do is justified and everyone who disagress can go fuck themselves, huh?" Mustard shook his head, having enough of this as he didn't intend on stopping here and went further, "You keep talking as if the murder of our friends was justified while our counter attack was a heinous act and call us monsters for having an audacity to fight back. Just shut up and face the reality of it. You attacked us first and drew the first blood here. What we did was fighting back and now you're trying to play victim when returned the favor and showed us we aren't willing to let you kills our comrades and later try to play like you have the mortal ground. You heroes are a joke. To think I could have been just like you as I once dreamed of being one."
"You once dreamed about being a hero, huh?" Shishikura asked, "Perharps it's a good thing you didn't become a hero. We don't need people like you among us."
"People like me among you? You're talking as if you heroes were all pure and didn't have assholes among you who get scot free because of you turning blind eye to the stuff done by your friends from work." Mustard pointed as he shifted his gaze from Shishikura and looked up at Tomohito, "You can deny it all you want, but it's the truth. I can even point you towards a perfect example of it right now."
"What are you talking about?" Shishikura asked as Tomohito tensed up a bit, feeling like what Mustard was planning to utter will be about him.
Mustard kept his eyes on Tomohito and began to say, "This assh..."
He was cut off from finishing what he was saying as Tomohito punched him in the face, stopping him from revealing the truth, "Shut up, villain."
Shishikura looked at Tomohito with a suprised look on his face, having not been expecting him to act like this, "Kazari-kun?"
"What? Were you really going to listen to some bullshit he came up with to try to make himself look better? Their sob stories are not of our concern." Tomohito asked, doing his best to act how nervous he became by Mustard's words as he grabbed him and lifted him up to his feet. He grabbed him by his wounded wrists and began to take him away, "I'll go take him away from you and the rest to make sure he won't try to say more of those bullshit to you and won't try to make fun of the U.A students over their teachers death."
"Alright." Shishikura nodded at him as Tomohito and Mustard walked away from them together. He found himself agreeing with Tomohito. Whatever Mustard had to say to them was probably nothing important and was probably just some made up story to make himself look better in front of them.
Mustard looked over his shoulder Shishikura, Ojiro, Momo and Mina, feeling Tomohito's tight grip on him as both of them slowly found themselves in a bigger distance from them. The teenage villain ignored the pain in his cheek right now and shifted his gaze to Tomohito, "You punched me really good here. You panicked as you know I will tell them about the asshole you were to Y/N back in junior high?"
Tomohito sighed, "I see he told you about this..."
Mustard gave him confirmation a second later, "He did. He told everyone from the League. He told us all of it in detail. Including how you and the rest of those shithead who treated him like crap almost drew him to suicide."
Tomohito shook his head with a regretful look on his face, taking a quick look around him to see if there wasn't anyone else around them. When he saw they were alone, he told him, "Listen. Everything I did to him, I regret it. If I could take back time and stop myself from creating the Mask and stop L/N for doing everything he did as the Mask, then I would do it without hesitation."
"You regret it? Glad you can admit it to me. Want me to give you a medal or something?" Mustard replied with sarcasm evident in his voice. He couldn't help but ask himself why was Tomohito feeling regretful. Was he feeling regretful because he truly realize how terrible he was to Y/N or was he feeling regretful because of what Y/N ended up becoming because of him, "Even if you regret it, you still haven't told the rest about how much of a asshole you were back in Junior High. That's so fucking pathetic."
Tomohito tightened his grasp on Mustard, feeling each word he uttered to him hitting him like a bullet, "I..."
"Shut up. I don't want to listen to your excuses. I know you're afraid to admit to this to everyone because you are afraid of their reaction." Mustard cut him off as Tomohito felt his words die in his throat. The teenage villain shook his head, seeing he was right about it, " Whatever. It doesn't matter, anyway. Soon. Everyone will know your little secret."
Tomohito raised his brow at this, "What do you mean?"
"I wouldn't want to ruin your suprise, you bullying asshole." Mustard replied. Tomohito could have sworn he almost saw Mustard at this. Despite being captured, the teenage villain had a smile on his face and Tomohito felt something on the back of his head telling him more unpleasant things were coming for them today...
Rappa let out a resigned sigh, sitting against a tree as he waited for his turn to be taken away to the rest of the captured members of his organization by Gang Orca. Just like he took Arasaka away a few minutes earlier. The brawler didn't try to do anything to free himself right now as he was unable to. Upon regaining his consciousness, the first thing he felt were heavy bounds on his arms and he was made unable to move because of it, making him realize he was really captured and there was nothing he could do about it.
"It's you." The brawler looked up towards the source of the voice and saw Fatgum and Kirishima standing in front of him.
Rappa stared them silently for a few seconds, having nothing to say them until figuring out it would be for the best if he spoke up to them, "Yeah. It's me. It's been a while you two."
Fat Gum crossed his arms, "So what we heard was true. You really joined the League of Villains after we saw you back in the Shie Hassaikai."
"Is this why you refused to fight us when we stumbled upon you and your partner?" Kirishima asked, recalling how his and FatGum's first encounter with Rappa and Tengai went as Rappa and Tengai didn't want to fight them and instead went on their way way. The saying it left both of them baffled was quite the understatement. At first they wrote it off as Rappa and Tengai leaving the yakuza due to them realizing it was a lost fight. Neither of them expected they would actually join the League of Villains.
Rappa nodded in confirmation, "Yes. It was something both of them were discussing for a few days before we settled down in our decision."
Kirishima looked at him questioningly, "Why would you join them?"
"Was it because your previous organization was falling apart with our raid and you wanted to avoid getting captured?" Fat Gum asked.
"No. It was because Y/N was the second person after Overjerk to defeat me in a fight." Rappa shook his head, "After he defeated me and Tengai patched him up, we had a conversation and he made us an offer to join the League, promising us things won't like they were in yakuza. Me and Tengai hung out around him, Twice and Toga after this for a few days and we saw Y/N may have been honest with us regarding the League. Even if Tengai was reluctant at first, I managed to convince him to give the League a try."
The brawler didn't stop there and went further into his words as Fat Gum and Kirishima silently listened to him, "Do you want to know the best part about it? We never regretted it. Not one bit. The League was everything Shie Hassaikai wasn't and Shigaraki and Y/N were the bosses everyone would want to follow. Y/N even promised me to give me a good fight if I'll join the League after seeing how much I love the thrill of it. You see. I was doing everything I was doing because I was looking for a good fight. I was doing it purely for the thrill of it. It was until that one day..."
"So then why shouldn't I destroy it? Why shouldn't we destroy the society that spat us out? Why shouldn't you lend us a hand in that? Let's destroy this society and rebuilt it from zero. A complete reset of everything! People will stop repeating those mistakes after we will do this reset as they will know what they will create and cause again if they will continue to act the way they do and repeat the same mistakes."
Rappa went back to what he was saying a second after the memory of Shigaraki's speech flew through his mind, "...But after I heard boss' reset speech a few months ago, all of it became something more to me than just a way of finding a good fight for myself. I wanted to see the world that he and Y/N would create for us. I wanted to help them and the rest of the League in creating it."
Fat Gum narrowed his eyes at him, "You want to help them create a new world? How? By destroying it at first and putting so many lives in danger?"
"The current system has to be destroyed. Nothing good will come out of keeping it up. This is what I realized myself after finding out how you and your system screwed over my friends from the League." Rappa pointed out, "Our operation was supposed to be as clean as possible as well. Our intention was to keep them away from the conflict between us. We weren't intending on hurting them. What you're seeing right now and whatever Machia will do once he will reach the cities wouldn't have happen if it wasn't for you."
"Not this again..." Kirishima muttered under his breath, clenching his hand as he recalled Mustard telling him and the others the same world shortly after they witnessed Gigantomachia's rampage. They couldn't have been at fault here. Right? What they did with attacking those villains had to be done, after all. They couldn't just let them put their plans into action.
"Even if you you were planning your operation to be as clean is possible, it would still put lives in danger." Fat Gum pointed out, "Didn't you and your friends think there can be some other, better way of doing it when you won't have to do. You know. All of this?"
"A better way? What is a better way to you? All you heroes are doing is keep proving us there's no other way of accomplishing it." Rappa retorted, "Do you want to know the worst part about everything? It's the fact that Tengai won't be there to see our new world once we will accomplish our goal. He was my best friend and now he's gone." His eyes narrowed into a glare, "Because of you heroes."
"Don't listen to him." Gang Orca's voice rang through their ears and all of them looked in the direction of his voice and saw him walking towards them. From the look on his face, Kirishima and Fat Gum could tell he wasn't happy to see Rappa, "Whatever right he had to judge us, he lost it the moment he started killing everyone he got his hands on back at the mansion."
"Like you're the one to talk. Do you really think you can judge me for it after you tried to justify Hawks killing my best friend and Twice to Y/N and tried to blame them for their deaths by 'not leaving Hawks any choice' earlier?" Rappa retorted with a hint of disgust in his previously blank tone as Gang Orca ignored his retort, having nothing to say to him and picked up from the ground.
The top hero began to drag Rappa forward, taking him to the same place he took Arasaka too a few moments earlier and Rappa silently obeyed him, knowing there was nothing he could do right now and allowed Gang Orca to take him. Kirishima and Fat Gum exchanged silent glances with each other, watching Gang Orca take Rappa away. Kirishima let out as saddened sigh as Fat Gum took notice of this and ruffled his hair a bit, trying to make him feel a bit better about everything.
----
Y/N sat in the corner between the spikes on Gigantomachia's back which had massively grew after the massive villain transformed himself into his current form. If he was honest with himself, he had no idea for how long he and the others were on Gigantomachia's back as he had lost the track of time since leaving the mansion on the massive villain as Gigantomachia continued to charge through the cities on his way to Shigaraki as if it was nothing to him.
The massive villain was getting closer to his destination of Jaku City with each passing moment. He wasn't moving at the speed of light, but was pretty fast. According to what Skeptic told him and the rest a moment ago, all of them were in Sairo City and were pretty close to their destination. Because of how close they were to their destination and how quickly Gigantomachia was moving, Y/N found himself wishing their remaining time of reaching Shigaraki passed faster as he knew just how close they were to him right now.
The h/c haired boy kept himself to his thoughts, having not said much ever since he and the rest left the mansion as he waited for him to reach Shigaraki's position. He let out a sigh to himself, feeling how Gigantomachia was going through all of the buildings and everything else on his way to his destination as if it was nothing. Y/N really hoped his and Skeptic's warning about Gigantomachia's rampage reached everyone and as many people as possible managed to get away from it to avoid getting caight up by it.
He pushed himself out of his thoughts a second later and looked around himself, seeing what the rest was doing right now. Skeptic kept himself glued to his laptop, pressing more buttons on it as he was doing something on it as Kizuki, Origami, Mr. Compress, Dabi and Magne kept themselves close to him. Toga stood close to the edge of Gigantomachia's back, overlooking the destruction around her with a solemn look on her face as Spinner, Minene and Daiki kept themselves occupied with their own stuff in the corners.
"I smell two masters!" Gigantomachia shouted with his voice growing more excited with each word he uttered as Y/N raised his brow at this. What did Gigantomachia mean by two masters? The only people he saw his as masters were Shigaraki and All For One. It would mean he could smell All For One as well, but why? It didn't make sense as All For One wasn't anywhere nearby and was still locked up in Tartarus.
"I've got a visual of Shigaraki Tomura." Skeptic declared as Y/N shifted his attention to him in an instant, finding himself interested in this information as he got himself into a standing position and pushed himself into walk towards him, "He's currently fighting Endeavor."
"Excellent." Dabi nodded at the information, satisfied by it as Y/N made his way to him and everyone else who was surrounding Skeptic, "Get ready."
Skeptic looked up at him with a questioning look on his face, "For what?"
"You're gonna help me tear down this society built on false heroes." Dabi grinned widely as Mr. Compress looked at him questioningly, remembering what Dabi had told him when they were starting to leave the forest after realizing they were forced to leave Mustard, Rappa and Arasaka behind.
Mr. Compress turned away from Skeptic and shifted his gaze between Toga and Y/N, "Are you two okay with it?"
"Huh?/What?" Toga and Y/N asked at the same time, the latter looking at him questioningly as the former keeping eyes on the on-going destruction around her.
"I saw you your faces earlier when we were attacked by the U.A students. You two were looking for particular people. Am I right?" Mr. Compress asked as Y/N and Toga stayed silent. It was the only confirmation he needed to get, "They're heroes too so are you ok with our plan?"
"I'm fine with it. For as long as I will see Tomura-kun again..." Y/N shrugged. For now all he wanted to do now was see Shigaraki again. He was so close to seeing his brother again after all this time and this is what mattered to him right now. He just wanted to hug him and apologize for ruining everything...
"Where do these pros draw the line?" Toga asked all of a sudden, getting questioning stares from most of them as she didn't answer to Mr. Compress' question.
Magne looked at her questioningly, "What do you mean, Toga-chan?"
"If their purpose is to save people, did they not think Jin was a person? Did they not think of Tengai-kun as a person?" Toga explained what she meant by her question to everyone as everyone listened to what she had to say to them, "The heroes didn't hesitate to murder them. So will they kill me if they get a chance? Will they kill the rest of us if they get the chance? I'd like to ask them. I would like to ask Ochaco as I feel like someone else should ask Izuku about it."
"I see." Y/N said in understanding, knowing he was the person Toga wanted to talk with Izuku. The h/c haired boy let out a sigh at the thought of having a conversation with Izuku after what happened today. With what happened today, who knew how it would go?
"Everyone." Kizuki called out, trying to make everyone shift their attention back to her and Skeptic, "Take a look at this."
"The heroes are getting closer." Skeptic explained, his eyes refusing to leave his laptop as Y/N, Origami, Magne and Mr. Compress shifted their attention back to him and his laptop.
Mr. Compress leaned closer to Skeptic's laptop with an interested look on his face, "Is that a satellite feed? How ingenious."
Magne nodded in agreements, "Looks neat."
Skeptic looked at him with an irritated and offended look on his face, "If you're that impressed by simple tech you should be embarrassed."
Origami rubbed the back of her head, "Really? This is simple tech? Looks pretty modern to me."
Skeptic shook his head, letting out a sigh as he decided to ignore this comment and explained, "It's not as many as we have at the villa but there are plenty. We've only gotten as far as we have due to fortuitous hindsight, for now, we must continue acting with caution."
Mr. Compress narrowed his eyes a bit and they shot open a second later, "Hold on a moment...!"
"I'm seeing it as well! Could you zoom here, darling?" Magne asked, pointing towards one spot on Skeptic's laptop.
"At least you know how to ask for favor unlike some people..." Skeptic sighed, zooming in on the spot Magne had just pointed towards as Y/N and Origami quickly saw what caught Magne and Mr. Compress attention. It was something or rather someone. It was when Ochaco and Asui appeared in their gaze. Toga looked over her shoulder at them and felt her eyes widen at the view of Ochaco.
"Speak of the devils, and they appear." Mr. Compress stated upon laying his eyes on the zoomed picture of Ochaco and Asui. He shifted his gaze away from Skeptic's laptop to Toga a second later, "Toga...!"
Toga rushed over to Mr. Compress and began hitting his chest, "Quick mister, you got any of my equipment!?"
"Ah! Dearest aren't you making this old man blush?" Mr. Compress asked, feeling himself getting overhelmed by what was happening right now as Y/N, Origami and Magne exchanged glances with each other at the scene in front of them, not knowing what to make of it.
Toga didn't listen to Mr. Compress and instead started shaking him back and forth, "GIVE IT NOW! NOW!"
"Yeah sure fine, one moment!" Mr. Compress replied, pulling out a marble with Toga's gear and releasing it from the said marble.
Toga wasted no time and grabbed everything. She quickly strapped it on herself, leaving herself ready to go confront Ochaco. She turned away from everyone and began to walk off, "Later. I'll find my way back to you."
"You can't just jump off, it's dangerous!" Mr. Compress shouted after her, trying to make her stop from leaving.
Toga stopped in her tracks and looked over her shoulder at him and the rest, "It feels gross to be confused and pent up like this, it'll be way better if I can get some answers."
"You don't have to do it right now!" Mr. Compress pointed out.
Magne nodded in agreement, "Yeah! Now this isn't the time, Toga-chan! It's too dangeous!"
"Don't stop her, you two. Just let her go if she wants to." Dabi voiced his thoughts on this situation as he shifted his gaze back to Skeptic. Excitement became more evident in his voice when he uttered to him, "Hey. Stop eavesdropping and focus on what's important."
Skeptic grumbled, resuming writing, "You people are impossible..."
"Toga-chan." Spinner called out for Toga, stepping out from the corner he had kept himself in until now, "I know we're basically completely just a bunch of misfits who just happened to find each other, but you're not the only one who's upset. I liked Twice."
"We all liked him." Y/N added. Despite being silent in this conversation until now, he knew he had to say something to Toga. He cared about Twice as much as he did. In fact. He considered him to be the third closest person from the League to him after Shigaraki and Origami, "If there's something I'm certain about him, it's the fact that he loved all of us to death. He was someone who was always willing to make us smile with his behavior and was always there for you whenever you needed someone in one way or another. He was left all alone when he needed it the most and we were the only people who accepted him for the way he is and became his new family. This is why I adored him as much as I did and why his death hurts me so much."
"Exactly. I couldn't have put it better myself." Spinner agreed with Y/N and voiced his thoughts further to Toga, "The League was the only place he felt like he belonged and the place where he found his new family after what happened to his old one. The boss probably wants us to stick together now that both he and Tengai-kun are gone and Rappa and Kataoka-kun are captured. We're experts at doing whatever the hell we want. But, make sure that you come back to us."
"Okay." Toga smiled gratefully at Y/N and Spinner, feeling herself slightly cheered up by their words as she shifted her gaze between them in order to make sure both of them saw their smile of gratitude. Just as she was about to turn away and leave, she was stopped from leaving by Origami's voice.
"Himiko-chan." The dark green haired girl called out to her as Toga stopped herself from leaving and saw Origami walking towards her.
Toga looked at Origami with a questioning look on her face, "What is it, Origami? You're not planning to stop me? Right?"
"No. I'm not." Origami shook her head as she unzipped her quiver and reached into it before pulling out a stick. Toga watched her with a curious look on her face as Origami turned the stick into a pistol and held it out to her, "Here take this. I know you don't like guns too much and prefers knives but it will help you at gaining attention of whoever you want to talk with."
Toga nodded, taking the pistol from Origami as she smiled at her gratefully, "Thank you, Origami-chan."
"One more thing before you leave." Origami said and wasted not ime when it came to voicing it, "As your best friend, I'm telling you to not get caught and come back to us as soon as you can."
"I will. I'll be back before you know it." Toga kept smilling at her best friend, glad she was not stopping her and was instead trying to help her as she must have known how important it was to her, "What kind of godmother would I be if I didn't return?"
"Right." Origami smiled back at her. Normally she would blush in embarassment at Toga teasing her about wanting a godchild but now she didn't react to it in a flustered blushy manner as she knew Toga wanted to make herself feel better right now by replying to her with one of he usual teasings. The dark green haired girl didn't think much of it either. It's not like Toga will become a godmother to her child anytime soon.
"I'll see you later everyone!" Toga shot everyone one last grateful smile as she turned away from them and pushed herself into run. She went down Gigantomachia's back, heading out to take care of her personal matters as Y/N, Origami, Spinner, Mr. Compress and Magne made their way to the edge of Gigantomachia's back. Y/N, Origami and Spinner watched her leave with small smiles on their faces as Magne and Mr. Compress remained concerned for her.
"You sure about letting her run off like that?" Mr. Compress asked in worry as Magne nodded in agreement, equally as worried.
Origami smiled fondly as she watched Toga vanish from her view, "You're talking as if you didn't knew her, Atsuhiro-kun."
"You'd think she listen if we tried to stop her?" Spinner nodded in agreement, smilling a bit himself. Upon seeing Toga vanish from their view, all of them turned away from the direction she had just went into and walked back to Dabi, Skeptic, Kizuki, Minene and Daiki
----
Ochaco looked around herself around herself as she and Asui moved through the destroyed part of the city to see if there was anyone who had remained there and was not evacuated by them and the other heroes present at the scene. Having gotten a warning about Gigantomachia coming their way, both of them and every other hero in the area got to work and began to evacuate the civilians from this area. All of them were relieved to have listened to this warning sometime later as they received a confirmation to what the warning said and knew a massive villain was indeed heading their way.
The young girl shook her head to herself, finding herself thinking about the warning as this warning suprised her. She wouldn't be suprised about it if it came from heroes. The fact that it came from villains was what suprised her. Why would they warn them about Gigantomachia's rampage and show them all the cities he will go through in their warning? Why would they care enough to warn everyone about the massive villain? If they cared about it this much, then they wouldn't release him into the cities in the first place.
She pushed herself out of her thoughts a second later, knowing now it wasn't the time to think about this as she kept looking around herself. Even with this area having been evacuated by them, there still could have been someone who was left behind and her worries were confirmed a second later as a gunshot rang through her ears. She looked in the direction of the gunshot, feeling herself growing worried about it as someone could be having trouble right now.
Not wasting any time, she rushed into the direction of the gunshot and Asui looked at her with a questioning concern, having not heard the gunshots. She followed her classmate and a friend a second later. As Ochaco got herself closer to the place the gunshot came from, she could hear more gunshots sounding in the area and it got her more worried. Upon reaching a corner and passing it, she ran into the place the gunshot came from was greeted by the view of Toga aiming a smoking pistol into the air.
"Hi there~!" The blond haired girl greeted Ochaco with a smile on her, waving her free hand at her. With everyone having been evacuated from the area, she didn't have anyone she could disguise herself and had to earn Ochaco's attention like this. If she was honest with herself, though, she wouldn't disguise herself as anyone here even if she would some options she could disguise herself now, She knew about Y/N's wish of making everyone as clean as possible and she intended to respect her friends wishes.
Ochaco's eyes widened in suprise, "Toga Himiko?"
Toga tossed her pistol aside, having no further use for it and slipped into the house next to her, "It's been forever Ochaco~."
"Get back here!" Ochaco pushed herself out of her suprised state a few seconds after Toga went into the house next to her. She followed the blond haired villain into the house and looked around herself, seeing just how dark the house was inside. Holding her breath, she stepped further into the house as she kept herself on guard, knowing Toga could jump at her at any second. How was she here in the first place?
"How sad. I wanted to talk to you and Tsuyu together. How is my precious little froggy friend?" Toga's voice echoed from the darkness as Ochaco froze in her tracks and clenched her teeth at the sound of it. She looked in the direction of it and was quickly forced to shift her attention to some other direction as something above her moved, "I thought about talking with Izuku as well! But I figured out it wouldn't be right for me as I don't think I should be the person to talk with him! Y/N should be! They were BFFs before Y/N became a villain, after all! I wanna talk with you so be honest with me Ochaco..."
As soon as those words rang through Ochaco's ears, Toga crashed through the ceiling above the U.A student and descended down towards her with her knife in ready. She landed on top of her target a second later, pinning her against the floor and held her knife close her neck as Ochaco tried to push the knife away from her. By holding her knife this close to her almost as if she was a second away from cutting her throat open, she knew it would make her Ochaco listen to her and everything she had to say to her.
"Hero...what do you want to do to me?" Toga asked, struggling to keep her knife close to Ochaco's neck as Ochaco tried to push it away, "Do you wanna kill me like Jin and Tengai-kun were killed? Will you murder me too? Will you call me a monster for fighting back like you heroes did with Y/N when he fought back? Start talking! What exactly are your intentions?"
Ochaco narrowed her eyes at her, "You pulled this whole stunt, just to ask me that?"
Toga raised her brow at her in confusion, "Well, it's important."
"You think so?" Ochaco asked through clenched teeth, "You came here and are holding a knife to my throat just to ask a stupid question!?"
"Do you think it's stupid?" Toga asked, her tone becoming darker at the thought of Ochaco finding it stupid. In fact. The blond haired girl looked almost offended by Ochaco's words.
"Okay. Fine. What I wanna do is save many people as I possibly can! And you're in my way! Toga Himiko!" Ochaco replied as Toga narrowed her eyes at her, slightly taken aback by her words. Using this state to her advantage, she tossed Toga off her and Toga rolled into another room. She got herself on a kneeling position a second later, glaring towards the Toga had just landed in, "So I'm gonna have to stop you right now! I'm way stronger than I was last time!"
Toga kept her eyes narrowed at Ochaco as she got herself into a standing position, holding her knife in ready, "Ochaco. When I think about someone I love, it makes me wanna become that person. To live inside of their skin. I wanna drain their blood so badly it makes my chest hurt. That's just who I am. This is how my Qurk makes me act. I can't help it. But not everyone is like that. Everyone's who's normal sees me as a freak. As if I had any control over those urges."
Ochaco glared at Toga, getting herself into a standing position and rushed towards Toga, seeing her monologue as a chance to attack her. She threw a can at her, trying to get Toga's attention away from her for a moment as Toga dodged the can without any problem and it crashed through the window behind her. Despite this, she kept her attention on Ochaco and she made sure to let her know about it by swinging her knife at her, making her back away from her.
The blond haired girl went back to voicing her thoughts to Ochaco after making sure the U.A distance was in a good distance from her, "The other day, there was this meanie reporter who called me a poor, lost child and tried to kill me because she said my cravings weren't "normal." If it wasn't for Magne knocking her out, then I would happily kill her for saying this to me! Some people tried to help her, though and I got my chance to get back at them! I used your blood and your Quirk to drop her friends from way, way up high!"
"Stop it!' Ochaco shouted, both disturbed and shocked by Toga changing into her and using her power for something like this. She tried to attack Toga with one of her wires. Toga dodged it without any problem and striked back with one of her needles. Ochaco was knocked down, because of it, but didn't think much of it and quickly got herself back on her feet, "You're happy? I would never feel good about hurting another person. What are you even trying to get at?"
Toga shifted her attention away from Ochaco for a moment, having noticed something on the floor and picked it up. It looked like a little keychain, "What's that? You must have dropped it, friend."
"That's mine!" Ochaco demanded it back, charging towards Toga.
Toga backed away from her, keeping the keychain in her gasp, "Something precious?"
Ochaco ignored her question and continued with her demands, "Give it back!"
"Jin was precious to me too, like a brother. Tengai-kun was important to me as well. Just like the rest of the League is. Do you know I used to sleep with a picture of all of us clutched into my chest before I got it framed?" Toga asked, tossing the keychain aside as she saw no need of keeping it in her grasp. Ochaco caught it as Toga continued, "You know. There was a time when I thought I was in love with you and Izuku. But I was wrong. What I was feeling towards you was not love. I realized it when I realized my feelings for someone else. You know Hiroto-kun. Right?"
Ochaco knew she couldn't just stand around and do nothing as she released more wires from her hero costume. Attaching them to several household objects, she moved them towards Toga and began attacking them with it, "I have to shut out every other feeling!"
"Great" Toga exclaimed while easily dodging the objects, "Neither of us has to hold back anymore. When I was little, everyone said I had to change, but that didn't help at all. Ignoring your urges makes them worse!"
"Enough!" Ochaco snapped, moving the objects faster as she glared at Toga, "Threaten people so you can do what you want! And you deserve whatever's coming to you!"
"This isn't what I want! I want a world where people won't treat me like a freak because of the way my Quirk makes me act! This is why I love the League as much as I do!" Toga snapped back at Ochaco, beginning to tear up at Ochaco's words, "Hiroto-kun accepted me for the way I am and I love him because of it even if I didn't tell him this, yet! He's the only who showed me what true love is! Origami-chan accepted me for the way I am and now she's my best friend! By the time she and Y/N will have a kid, I'm sure I'll be it's godmother! Y/N accepted me for the way I am and I will gladly follow him and Tomura-kun anywhere because of it! The League accepted me for the way I am and I will always love them because of it! At least they think of me as a human! Unlike everyone else!"
Ochaco was taken aback by Toga's words and emotional reaction, "W-What?"
"Saying something like this and you people claim to have the moral ground here. Our sides are not so different from each other. Only we are seen like monsters who deserve be locked away and have the key thrown away by everyone." Toga pointed out, tearing up as her tone become more tearful as Ochaco raised her brow with a taken aback expression on her face, "There's the answer I needed. Thanks for the chat. Now I know everything I need."
"Uravity!" Asui shouted, having just entered the house as she moved her long tongue towards Toga and knocked her away from Ochaco.
Ochaco looked over her shoulder at her, "Froppy!"
Toga got herself back on her feet and looked at Asui, "Tsuyu."
"I've told you, you can't call me that." Tsuyu replied, her voice slightly muffled.
It was when the ground underneath all three of them began to shake from the destruction caused by Gigantomachia. Toga wasted no time and used this to her advantage, leaving the house and fleeing from the scene before Ochaco and Asui could notice her leaving the place. Upon finding herself outside, she climbed on top of the rooftop and started jumping from one housetop to another as she started to make her way back to people who were her home. People who were her family.
------
Jaku City was in ruins. What was once a populous area where people were going on about their day, was disturbed when a group of heroes led by Endeavor moved into Jaku General Hospital in order to apprehend Ujiko and Shigaraki and stop Shigaraki's operation from getting completed. The operation went mostly smoothly with a few inconveniences along the way, but ultimately heroes accomplished their task and captured Ujiko and broke Shigaraki out of his tube, stopping him from getting his operation finished and stopping him from waking up.
Or so they thought as Shigaraki woke up and everything started to go down for them afterwards. Not wasting any time after his awakening, Shigaraki put his new abilities to good use and placed his hand on his city. His decay spread everywhere, leaving nothing out of the hospital and it didn't just stop with the hospital. It spread all across the city, not giving the heroes surroundings the area any time to react and resulted in the destruction of roughly one third of the city.
Upon collecting themselves after Shigaraki's decay wave, the heroes wasted no time and attacked him and Shigaraki attacked them in return. What followed was a long fierce battle between Shigaraki and everyone, it resulted in the situation Shigaraki found himself in right now. The white haired young man was heavily burned and had white tendrils coming out of his back and Todoroki and Nejire attempted to finish him off, but were interrupted by Gigantomachia who arrived the scene and saved Shigaraki from what would a certain death.
"Master. I'm here and I brought your brother to you! What is your next order? I will do as you command!" Gigantomachia shouted, awaiting Shigaraki's next order as he grabbed Shigaraki and placed him in the palm of his hand. Spinner and Y/N climbed on top of the massive villain shoulders and looked down, seeing Shigaraki in his palm and the state he was in right now.
"Shigaraki! What happened? You look terrible." Spinner asked in worry the moment he laid his eyes on Shigaraki as Y/N felt how his heart almost stopped when he saw Shigaraki. His brother looked horrible and as much as he hated to admit it, he looked like he was barely alive or even dead. He was heavily burned and looked af if someone had just burned him alive.
Gigantomachia lifted his hand up aftewards, carefully putting Shigaraki close this friends on his back as Y/N, Spinner, Magne, Origami and Mr. Compress wasted no time and surrounded their leader as fast as they could, all of them showing concern in one way or another. Dabi stared at them silently for a few seconds before shifting his attention towards something else. He pushed himself into walk towards the edge of Gigantomachia's back a second later.
Magne, Origami and Mr. Compress looked up at Dabi as Y/N and Spinner paid no attention to him right now because their attention was entirely on Shigaraki. All of them felt confused by his action and asked themselves why was he making his way there right now. What got everyone confused was the fact that he was holding a bottle of bleach in his hand right now. They shifted their attention back to Shigaraki a second later as Y/N shoved himself towards Shigaraki and hugged him tightly.
"Tomura-kun! What they have done to you?!" The h/c haired boy asked with worry evident in his voice and on his face as he held Shigaraki as if he didn't want to let go off him. He looked and sounded like he was on the verge of tears right now. It left everyone concerned as they had never seen Y/N like this. Not even after All For One was caught or even after Kurogiri was caught. He kept hugging Shigaraki, holding him as if his life depended on it, "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. All of it is my fault. You trusted me and I messed up..."
Magne looked at him with concern written over her face, "Y/N..."
"Y/N." Mr. Compress softly called out for Y/N, putting his hand on his shoulder as he gently tried to pull him away from Shigaraki. He didn't want him to see Shigaraki like this. Not right now. Not after what happened with Twice and Tengai back in the mansion, "We'll take a look on him. Let us handle this. Please. You're not in the right state right now. Please. Step aside a bit and calm down a bit."
Y/N looked over his shoulder at Mr. Compress. Even though his face was covered like it was for most of the time, Y/N could see he had a worried look on his face. The same went for everyone around him. The h/c haired boy sighed, giving him a reluctant nod and pulled away from Shigaraki, whispering one last "I'm sorry" to him. He sat down on the side, staying close to Shigaraki, but not too close to him as Spinner, Mr. Compress and Magne ]wasted no time when it came to look after Shigaraki.
The h/c haired boy shifted his gaze away from Shigaraki, not wanting to look at him in this state as he pressed his hands against his face. He let one deep breath and it was followed by another one and another one and another one. It was when all off his feelings of guilt and failure as the co-commander of everything increased and hit him like a ton of bricks. Not only his failure had caused the deaths of Twice and Tengai and the capture of Mustard, Rappa and Arasaka, but also caused Shigaraki to be in this state right now.
He was pushed out of his guilt filled thoughts a second later as he felt someone place their hand on his shoulder. He pulled his hands away from his face and saw Origami. His girlfriend looked at him with a worried look on her face as she laid her head on his shoulder and rubbed his shoulder comfortingly, trying to comfort him as best as she could right now. Y/N let out a deep breath, trying to calm himself down in some way as Origami's comfort and touch helped him a bit.
Skeptic and Kizuki didn't react to Shigaraki's state in any way right now, the former working on something on his laptop as Daiki and Minene watched everything from where they sat with worried and saddened looks on their face. Both of them, especially Minene, knew they needed to comfort him in some way right now as well. He was their co-commander and friend who wasted no time when it came to comforting them Arasaka's capture, after all.
"Hey, there you are!" Just as they were about to make their way towards Y/N and Origami, their attention was brought towards the edge of Gigantomachia's back as Dabi had just made his way there. The said villain looked down at the person below him and the rest, waving his free hand while the other one was still holding the bleach bottle, "From all the way up here, everyone looks like tiny little ants. Ah, Shoto's with you, perfect."
Endeavor narrowed his eyes into a glare, growling out at the view of him, "Dabi..."
"Hey now, don't be rude. You're acting like we never met." Dabi replied as he opened the bottle and poured the bleach over his head. The black hair dye washed off his hair a few seconds later, revealing his white snowy hair to everyone, "Call me Toya. After all, it's the name you and mom gave me."
Y/N's eyes widened in shock when he heard Dabi's declaration. If he was honest with himself, his brain needed a few seconds to process all of it and he wasn't the only one. Literally everyone on Gigantomachia's back stopped what they were doing for a second and looked at Dabi. All of them were in complete disbelief of everything. Dabi was Endeavor's son? He was a Todoroki? The current number one hero's son was working with them for all this time and they didn't even know?
The h/c haired boy stared at Dabi with shock written over his face, having forgotten about Shigaraki for a second due to the shock he was feeling right now as he recalled something about Dabi and recalled all the times when Dabi acted in a suspicious manner regarding Endeavor or Todoroki. He recalled the way he interacted with Todoroki back when they attacked the summer camp and recalled the way Dabi stayed close to Todoroki back when they recalled Chimera from the island.
When it came to the situation with collecting Chimera from the island, he recalled how he felt like Dabi went with them to collect, because he had some reason for it. This feeling later got confirmed as he saw the way Dabi stayed close to an unconcious Todoroki when he was working on getting Chimera with Mr. Compress and Rappa. He ultimately brushed it off and didn't push further about as he didn't want to force Dabi into revealing his reasons. The same reason why he never insisted on Dabi to reveal his identity to them and even protected him from Skeptic when Skeptic was being too push with it.
He shook his head to himself after recalling all of those events. Now that he remembered it all, it all made sense to him and he realized just how obvious signs of Dabi's relation to Endeavor were for all this time. Even his Quirk was similiar to him. Despite all of this, the h/c haired boy couldn't help but ask himself more questions regarding Dabi right now. What made him choose this path if he was a son of the current number one hero and more importantly where did his scars came from?
Dabi smiled down at Endeavor and Todoroki, loving every second of their stunned reactions as he spoke up to them again after a moment of silence, "Yeah, I know my face is pretty disgusting now. But it's still surprising my own family didn't recognize me. It's honestly kinda crappy. Or maybe it's just depressing you know? I didn't forget our family. I've been watching you from the shadows this entire time. You know outta everyone in the world, you should be beyond reproach number one. And so a pre-recorded video of my life story is currently streaming on every device in the country."
Skeptic looked away from his laptop and looked at Dabi with a stunned look on his face, "...What a crazy ace up your sleeve."
"You can say that again..." Kizuki agreed with him with shock written over her face as Daiki and Minene stared at one of their lieutenants with an equally shocked looks on their faces.
"Oh, man. I didn't expect this. I'm starting to have fun!" Dabi said with a huge grin on his face as he began to dance by clapping his hands, "I wondered how I could make you suffer. How I could ruin your life. Ever since I burned up, it's all I thought about. As a kid I didn't know why I existed, I'd cling to Natsu, balling my eyes out. But you didn't know that did you!? At first, when I realized your little puppet Shoto was complete, I figured I'd kill him."
Y/N narrowed his eyes with a thoughtful look slowly forming on his face, replacing the look of disbelief he had on it for the last few seconds. He allowed to himself to process everything Dabi had just said to Endeavor, despite this feeling suprised and shocked by this reveal. What did Dabi mean by him not knowing why he never existed and crying into Natsu, whoever he was, every night? Despite this question, Y/N couldn't feel like it was oddly familiar to him as it reminded him of the times when he would cry himself to sleep and ask himself why he was so useless when he was still living with his parents.
"But then you unexpectedly became the number one hero!" Dabi continued to dance, spinning around with his arms opened up almost as if he was inviting someone in for a hug, "Who woulda guessed huh? I was suddenly so invested in your happiness! Can you believe in Kyushu I was actually afraid you were going to die and I considered telling Mustard to do something with his sleeping gas to stop it from happening? I led Starservant and Ending to your doorstep. Did they make you feel like a big shot? Must have been a heavy burden to achieve your dream after so long! But you were sued by public apparition weren't you? Is that why you finally decided to try to bond with your children? Just keep looking towards the future and you could be a better man? What? Nothing to say? Well, allow me."
He stopped his dance and pointed towards himself, his grin growing wider with each passing second as he was having the time of his life right now, making the most of this situation. "The past never dies. You will reap everything you've sown. Let's fall together, Todoroki Enji! Come and dance with me in hell, won't you? Well? Speak up, Dad!"
The area around Dabi was covered in a complete silence upon declaring those words to his father as everyone, no matter if they were from his side or the hero side, were utterly stunned by what they were witnessing right now. Y/N couldn't help but ask himself something once Dabi uttered all of those words about Endeavor. What did he meant by all of this? Could Endeavor have be mistreating his family in some way? Everything Dabi had just uttered out was making it more than possible.
"...My son is dead, these are disgusting lies." Endeavor finally broke the stunned silence between everyone as Y/N clenched his hand, leaving himself with his thoughts regarding Endevaor and the thought of him being someone who was mistreating his family. As someone who suffered something like this by the hands of his own parents, the thought of someone who was supposed to be the number one hero doing this as well was more than enough to make him feel angry on the inside and sick in his stomach.
Dabi shook his head with his grin still evident on his face, "Oh, I'm very much alive. You're just a broken man who refuses to accept the truth. How could you not recognize your child? Is it because fire quirks are so common there's nothing special about someone who has one?"
Magne gasped in shock, "He's Endeavor's son..."
"We had no idea..." Mr. Compress muttered in shock.
"I don't think any of us knew. Even Kataoka-kun..." Origami stated, her eyes filled with disbelief.
"I don't even know what's going anymore." Spinner muttered under his breaht as he shifted his attention from Dabi back to Shigaraki and began to shake him, trying to wake him up, "Wake up, Shigaraki! You wanted to see us, right? You wanted to see Y/N, right? We're here, just like you wanted! Now give Machia orders!"
"Our little troope has dramatic lineages..." Mr. Compress whispered to himself as Origami and Magne slowly turned to look with questioning looks on their faces, having overheard what he just said. They turned away from him a second later and exchanged glances with each other, silently wondering what did he meant by that.
"If you doubt me I'll happily give you some blood or a chunk of skin. You could do a DNA test. Obviously I've already done one for both you and Shoto and I released the results to the public." Dabi revealed as Y/N once himself thinking back to when he and the rest collected Nine's crew from Nabu Island and how close Dabi stayed to Todoroki when he went with him, Rappa and Mr. Compress to collect Chimera. Now he knew why he stayed as close as Todoroki as he did. He must have been collecting the DNA for this test.
It was when his eyes widened slightly as he recalled seeing something a while ago, "...Hold on a second. From what I saw in the article during one of our meetings, he has been working with him these last few months..."
These thoughts flashed through his head immediately after recalling it. He recalled seeing on article with Izuku where Izuku was shown to be working with Endeavor. He didn't know why but a question of if Izuku knew about it flew through his head. It must have occurred to him instinctively because Izuku had been working with Endeavor for the past few months. He quickly dismissed this idea, because how could Izuku know about whatever Endeavor had put his family through behind the scenes.
He dismissed it, because he knew Izuku wouldn't keep this information hidden away. Especially after the truth about his family and the way his parents treated him was revealed to the public. Even if a hero was doing something like this. Izuku was aware of what his family was doing to him and he would know covering up for something like this would be as if he was covering for his parents just because they were lawyers and were helping people with legal advice if them paid them well enough. Right?
Y/N pushed himself out of those thoughts a second later and slowly made his way to the edge of Gigantomachia's back. Upon making his way the edge of the massive villain's back, he looked around himself and his eyes caught the sight of Izuku who was looking up at Gigantomachia with a stunned look on his face. It was quite obvious to Y/N what was the cause of Izuku's stunned expression. He must have been as stunned by Dabi's revelation as everyone else was.
The h/c haired boy kept his eyes on Izuku for few seconds, letting out a sigh. He shifted his gaze away from him to Dabi a second later, seeing him shouting out more gleeful and taunting words towards Endeavor. With Dabi now dealing with his past, Y/N felt like he couldn't run away anymore and knew he had to go down and have a conversation with him. Letting out another sigh, he used his Quirk to make himself float and began descending down towards Izuku.
"Y/N!" Mr. Compress called out for Y/N in worry after noticing how the h/c haired boy started descending down from Gigantomachia's back. Magne and Origami looked questioning and worried of what he was doing as well, "Where are you going?"
"I need to have a talk with someone." Y/N gave him an honest answer. He didn't even look back at him as he continued have his eyes glued to Izuku.
Mr. Compress looked down and saw Izuku below them. The masked man nodded at him with a look of understanding on his face, feeling like it was something Y/N had to do. Just like Toga had to do for herself when they allowed her to leave Gigantomachia's back to have a talk with Ochaco and Asui, "Very well. Just look out for yourself down there."
"I will." Y/N assured him and the rest. He turned away from him and the rest a second later, feeling everything around him becoming a blurry background as he once again set his eyes Izuku. He allowed himself to eye the state he was in right now. The state he was in right now looked much worse from up close. Whatever happened to him left him in a rough battered shape. If Y/N was honest with himself, he was suprised Izuku could keep himself on his feet right now.
It wasn't long until Izuku noticed Y/N moving down from Gigantomachia's back towards him. The green haired boy had completely shifted his from whatever was going on with Dabi right now and all of his attention Y/N. The shock he felt after Dabi revealed himself to be Todoroki's older brother vanished from his eyes in an instant. His gaze softened slightly, seeing how close Y/N was to him right now and how he was only a few short seconds until reaching the ground.
As Izuku kept his eyes on Y/N, he allowed himself to eye the state his friend was in right now and saw him looking a bit different than he did the last time he saw him back at Shie Hassaikai. His hair was longer. He must have started outgrowing it again. He had a scar on his face as well. It immediately got Izuku concerned. Where did Y/N got this scar from? Did someone from the League hurt him? His eyes caught the sight of how bloody Y/N's vest was right now as well. It made him ask himself where did this blood come from.
He was pushed out of his thoughts a second later as Y/N landed in front of him and looked directly into his eyes. Izuku returned his gaze, his eyes once again softening up as Y/N's cold eyes stared directly at him. Despite everything he went through today, Izuku couldn't help but feel happy on the inside as he knew he had just gotten the first chance to talk with Y/N in a long time. It wouldn't like what happened back with Overhaul where Y/N left before they could exchange any words with each other. Right now they would actually get a chance to talk and have an actual conversation with each other.
"...Y/N." He let out a whisper at the view of his friend. Someone he had been wanting to talk with for a long time at this point. It was finally his chance. He was finally going to have this conversation with him and convince him he doesn't need to be a villain and doesn't need to be with the League. He was going to save him. Just like he promised himself all this time ago.
"Midoriya." Y/N replied by calling him out his name in a cold blank tone. The coldness of his voice suprised Izuku. The dark green haired boy had never heard Y/N use this tone when talking with someone. Especially when he was talking with him. The two old friends stared at each other silently, trying to figure out how to start the first real conversation they will have with each other since Y/N went first missing all this time ago...
-----
Yeah. I know. I'm evil for that cliffhanger.
A calmer chapter this time. Or at least as calm as it can get for this arc. The next chapter will have something all of you had been waiting for for a long time. The confrontation and the conversation between Y/N and Izuku.
We have officially passed the 40 chapter mark in this story and I can't believe we are so deep into this story at this point. Thank you for everyone who stuck around for all of those chapters! :)
Hazbin Hotel comes out tommorow and I just can't wait for this day to come.
EDIT: Just realized I posted this chapter on Dabi's birthday. Just to let you know. It was not intended and it was a coincidence.
