The Advisers
Y/N walked along the hallway of the mansion, making his way towards one room in the mansion where he had set up a meeting with three people as he carried a half of the cake he had baked last night. With the last cake he had baked shortly after Camino Ward, he really forgot how much he enjoyed this hobby of his and knew he will try to do it more often nowadays whenever he will find some free time to do so. Maybe he will invite Origami in for one of his baking sessions and she would help him with a cake again.
Days have passed since Shigaraki left for his operation and the preparations of the Paranormal Liberation Front for their upcoming move against the hero society in the four months from now on. The first thing they made sure to prepare was to prepare the groups that Shigaraki mentioned to the warriors in their army back when the Paranormal Liberation Front was formed several days ago, resulting in the formation of the six regiments within their army.
The Vanguard Action Guerilla Warfare Regiment otherwise known as the Violet Regiment. This name came from the color of Dabi's scars. The purpose of using colors as the extra way of referring to the regiments was to make the fighters in the Liberation army to help them identify them easier. It was led by Dabi, Geten and Rappa. There were some tensions in the regiment because of both Dabi and Geten being in it as they weren't fans of each other which wasn't a suprise, considering Geten wasn't a fan of anyone from the League. Other than that, there wasn't much problems with it. Rappa was happy to be a part of this regiment.
The Vanguard Action Tactics Regiment otherwise known as the Black Regiment. This name came from the color of Twice's villain costume. It was led by Twice and Magne. In this regiment Mummy was of Magne's advisers. There wasn't much Y/N could say about this regiment and Twice and Magne worked well with each other when it comes to leading this regiment and had no problems with each other. Only Twice was having some troubles with his new position, but it was just Twice being Twice.
The Vanguard Action Intelligence Regiment otherwise known as the Carmine Regiment. This name came from the color of Toga's scarf. It was lead by Toga, Skeptic and Kizuki. The tension in this regiment was quite large to say the least mostly because of the fact both Kizuki and Toga were placed in it. Everyone were aware it would happen if these two were placed in the same regiment together but knew they had to take this risk, because Kizuki and Toga were perfect for this kind of thing.
The Vanguard Action Support Regiment otherwise known as the Purple Regiment. This name came from the color of Spinner's hair. It was led by Spinner, Mustard and Tengai. In this regiment Chimera was serving the role of one of the advisers for Spinner. Chimera wasn't the only heteromorph placed as Spinner's adviser as two other heteromorph, an insect woman and a spider man who always kept his whole head covered by a black hood, were placed as Spinner's adviser as well. There wasn't more Y/N could say about it as Spinner, Mustard and Tengai were perfectly fine with working with each other.
The Vanguard Action Supply Regiment otherwise known as the White Regiment. The name came from the color of Origami's upper clothes. It was led by Origami and Mr. Compress. In this regiment Slice was serving the role of one of the advisers for Origami. Just like in the Black Regiment and the Purple Regiment, there wasn't much Y/N could say about it as Origami and Mr. Compress had no problem with working together when it came to leading this regiment.
The sixth and the last of the regiments in this army was named The Regiment of the Co-Commander. It was otherwise known as the Gray Regiment. This name came from the color of Y/N's signature gray hoodie. It was led by only Y/N because of his role as the co-commander in the Liberation Front. The idea for this regiment didn't came from Y/N and came from Re-Destro instead. Despite Y/N being slightly reluctant about him having a regiment solely for him, this regiment ultimately ended up created. If Y/N was honest with him, he wouldn't be suprised if Shigaraki joined him in this regiment once he will come back from his operation.
Y/N nodded to himself at those thoughts as he knew the formation of the said regiments was just the beginning. He knew they still had a lot of planning ahead of them and knew their game plan was at the top of the list when it came to the idea they needed to plan out. He will have to make sure to bring up the idea he had recently came up with the members of the League using their new resources to share their life stories with the world during one of the future meetings as well.
The h/c haired boy walked into an empty room in the mansion and walked over to the table in the middle of it, setting down the cake on it and beginning to prepare everything just in case if his advisers will want to help themselves with it. After making sure everything was ready for the meeting, he sat down in the middle of the couch and started to wait for his advisers to arrive at this room. As he continued to wait for them, he pulled out a papers with their names written on it to remind himself who were the people who had been assigned to him as the advisers.
Minene Kasumi
Takeuchi Daiki
Asano Kyochiro
Y/N narrowed his eyes at the name at the bottom of this list as he could have sworn the name as Asano Kyochiro was familiar to him in some kind. Maybe he once met someone with a familiar name or maybe he heard it somewhere in the TV. Either way he would get the answer to this question soon as was on his way for the meeting with his advisers to get to know them better right now. He just hoped he would get along with them in some way.
The name of Minene Kasumi was familiar to him as well. He got more than enough chances to remember it over the course of the last several days. He was told more than enough times about how she seemed to think of him ever since he defeated her back in Deika City over the course of all those days. Even if he wasn't told all of this by her, he doubted he would forget her as she and her group were the reason why his Quirk evolved. Whatever would happen during his meeting with her right now, he hoped it will go well.
Unlike the previous two of his advisers, he didn't know what to think of the last one from them as he couldn't recall ever meeting anyone by the name of Takeuchi Daiki or ever hearing about someone with such a name. This man was a complete mystery for him and whoever he was, he had the same hopes for him as he did for Minene and Asano. He hoped everything will work out with him and they will work together well in the upcoming months.
"...Hello?" An unfamiliar male name rang through his ears shortly after. He shifted his attention away from the list to the source of it and saw a man in his early 20's with a short black haired hair standing in the doorway to it. He wore a black coat with light neon blue serpentine patterns and three separated coattails with slightly tattered edges. He wore zippered-turtleneck beneath his midnight blue formal vest. He also wore charcoal gray fingerless gloves, black pants and dark boots covered by teal gaiters.
"Hello." Y/N smiled slightly at the man standing in the doorway, knowing it must have either been Daiki or Asano.
"I see we've interrupted you with something. Should we wait for you to be done with it on the hallway?" The black haired man asked, pointing behind himself towards the hallway.
"No. I wasn't doing anything right now. I was just thinking of something." Y/N shook his head, gesturing to himself and all the place around the table in front of him, "Come right ahead. Sit down whenever you want."
"Alright." The black haired man nodded, stepping further into the room and was followed by two more people. A man in his late 20 and with a dark brown hair and a man with a purple hair who he immediately recognized as Minene. The purple haired woman didn't change much in her appearance as wore the exactly same kimono as she wore in Deika City. There wasn't much he could say about the other man clothing, though as he wore clothes that you'd normally see a police detective wear.
Y/N got up from the couch and walked over to the black haired man and held his hand out to him for a handshake, "I don't think I need to introduce myself to you, but allow me to introduce myself, anyway. My name is L/N Y/N. It's nice to meet you."
"I'm Takeuchi Daiki." The brown haired man introduced himself, revealing himself to be Takeuchi Daiki from the list as he took Y/N's hand into his and gave it a firm shake, "It's an honor to meet the co-commader of our army in person."
Y/N smiled at him, pulling his hand away from the handsake, "Don't call me co-commander. Whenever someone from the army uses this title while talking with me privately makes me feel weird. Just call me Y/N."
Daiki looked at him questioningly, "Y/N? You want to call you already by your first name?"
"Yes." Y/N nodded in confirmation as Daiki looked slightly unsure about it, "Don't worry. I don't mind it. This is how all of my associates call me. To be honest I prefer when people call me by my first name as well as my last name makes me think about people I'm not exactly fond of."
Daiki nodded in understanding, "Alright. I'll make a mental note out of it."
Y/N once again smiled at him and shifted his attention to the other man. He wasted no time and held his hand out to him, "If the man I spoke with is Takeuchi Daiki, then I assume you are Asano Kyochiro. Right?"
"Yes. That's my name." Asano smiled at Y/N, shaking his hand.
Y/N pulled his hand away from Asano and looked at him questioningly, "I'm sorry if this question seems a bit too sudden for you, but have we met before? I feel like I've heard your name before and I can't recall from where."
"You're feeling is not wrong. I was one of the detectives looking after you after you first went missing and later me and my partner were assigned to work on the case of your parents after your aunt revealed their little secrets." Asano explained, bracing himself for the reaction this information will get out of Y/N as he knew it was certainly suprising for him.
Y/N's eyes widened at this, having finally remembered hearing Asano's name in the TV reports about his parents, "...Oh! So this where I know you from. I don't really know what to say right now as I never thought I will met you in person when I heard your name in the TV. Or that we will encounter each other under such circumstances."
Asano chuckled at his reaction, finding it to be as amusing as he thought it will be, "Yeah. I was having a hard time believing such turn of events as well. I would have never say that the boy I was looking for all those months ago would be my future co-commander in my mission to ensure Destro dreams will become a reality. Life sometines really writes the most interesting scenarios, huh?"
"Yeah. You can say that." Y/N agreed with him as he shifted his attention from Asano and Minene. He walked over to the purple haired woman, stopping in front of her as she was the last person he had to greet right now. He stared at her for a second, his face not showing any notable emotions, "Looks like we're meeting again."
Minene nodded with a smile on her face, looking quite excited about this meeting almost as if she had been looking forward to it for a long time, "Yeah. Looks like it."
Y/N held his hand out to her, wanting to shake her hand like he did with Daiki and Asano, "I hope we can put what happened in Deika City behind us for the sake of working towards our goal. My name is L/N Y/N. It's good to meet you in person and in a better circumstances."
Minene's grew wider as she took his hand into hers and shook it rapidly, "The honor is mine co-comm..." She paused for a moment, realizing what Y/N just said to Daiki as Y/N could see her excitement growing in her differently colored eyes, "Y/N! My name is Minene Kasumi! I'm looking forward to us working together in the upcoming months!"
"Alright." Y/N smiled at her, appreciating Minene was willing to put what happened in Deika City behind them for the sake of their goals as he pulled his hand away from her, feeling it slightly hurting from how rapidly Minene was shaking it a moment ago. He went back to the couch and sat down on it, "Go ahead. Sit down where you want."
Minene, Asano and Daiki nodded at him and moved towards the table right away. Asano sat down on on the floor on the left side of the table, looking up at Y/N with a curious smile on his face as Daiki sat down on the front in front of the table, leaving himself across from Y/N. Minene didn't sit down right away as she took off her geta sandals, leaving herself barefooted and to make it more comfortable for her to sit down in the process and sat down next to Daiki.
The h/c boy shifted his gaze between the three of them and rubbed his hands for a moment, "Alright. Now that the three of you are here, can you tell me something more about yourself? We'll be working together from now on and I would like to get to know you better a bit. Can you tell me what your Quirk are?"
"I'll go first." Minene immediately volunteered to do a presentation of her Quirk as she got up from the floor, "I know you already saw my Meta Ability in action, but I'm certain you'd like me to give you an explanation and a more precise explanation of it~."
Y/N nodded in confirmation, "Yeah. I would like that."
Minene smiled at him, stopping in her tracks in the middle of the room and activated her Quirk right away. Six obi sashes came out of her, once again exposing as much of her body as she had exposed back in Deika city when she was using her Quirk and began floating above the ground behind her/ Daiki looked unbothered by how much of Minene's body just got exposed, Asano glanced away from her, trying to act polite and not to stare at her and Y/N blushed slightly, having the kind of reaction to it he would have back in Deika if he was. Since he could get a better look at Minene now, he noticed one more thing about her. She had a tattoo of a rose on her left thigh.
"My Meta Ability is called Obi Sash Manipulation." The purple haired began her explanation, allowing her obi sashes float behind her back as she smiled slightly at the blush her now exposed appearance got out of Y/N, "It allows me to turn every piece of my upper clothing into obi sashes whenever I desire." She looked down at her exposed body, "This is why I choose such an outfit for myself. From the way I trained my Meta Ability over the course of the last few years, I realized this would be the best for my outfit whenever I will use my Meta Ability in one way or another."
Daiki chuckled, "Just tell him you're into traditional clothing without trying to make a big explanation out of it."
Y/N looked at Daiki questioningly, "Really? She is interested in this type of stuff?"
"Yesh. You should have seen how excited she was to wear stuff like this for occasions when we were kids." Daiki nodded in confirmation as Minene blushed slightly, recalling the memories of the excitement her younger self felt whenever it came to wearing clothes like this.
Y/N raised his brow at him and Minene curiously, "Really? How do you know this?"
"Me and Kasumi are childhood friends." Daiki explained, "Our parents knew each other and one thing lead to another, resulting in us becoming friends."
Y/N nodded in understanding, "I see."
"The two of us later joined the MLA along with Yumiko-chan as we grew older." Minene added to Daiki's explanation as Asano grabbed a piece of cake from the table and took a bite from of it, his eyes slightly widening at the good taste of the cake before taking the next bite of it.
Y/N shifted his gaze to Minene at the mention of this person, "Yumiko-chan?"
"She is our other childhood friend." Minene replied as Y/N nodded in understanding, "She was assigned to one of your associates from the League as one of their advisers. I'm unsure to who, though."
"I see." Y/N nodded in understanding, making sure to ask his fellow members of the League about this Yumiko later, "Could you tell me more about your Quirk Minene? I want to know what you can do with your obi sashes."
Minene winked at him, "With pleasure, Y/N~."
Minene began her explanation of her Quirk to Y/N right after, giving him some details on what she could and couldn't do with it as Y/N listened to all of it in interest, making sure to take mental notes for the future. Minene's obi sashes had some interesting abilities to say the least. One of which included an ability of crashing through most materials with them, like he had already observed back during their fight with Deika City. The materials which she could crash through with her materials included stone, ice and wood among others. The material she couldn't crash through, though was metal.
The other part of her ability which got his interest was how apparently sharp her obi sashes could be. He had a chance to experience it on his own body as the scar on his face was done by one of Minene's obi sashes. Minene seemed to get the same idea as she glanced at his scar guilty when she got to the part with her obi sashes being quite sharp. It was when the purple haired woman made sure to talk about it with him the next time she will see him.
The rest of her explanation included how the limit of the the length of her obi sashes they can travel is about twelve meters and what happens with them when they either take too much damage from someone or were used by her too much in the moment. When it happens, her obi sashes fall apart into pieces and she is unable to recreate them unless she changes clothes which is something rather impossible to happen when you are in the middle of the fight with someone.
"...That would be all." Minene finished her explanation, giving Y/N a respectful bow of her head as her obi sashes went back to her body, forming themselves back into her pink kimono.
Y/N nodded in understanding, having made sure to remember all of it as he looked Minene gratefully, "Alright. Thank you for telling me all of this, Minene-san."
"Kasumi-chan." Minene told him.
Y/N raised his brow, "Excuse me?"
"Just call me Kasumi-chan." Minene smiled, blushing slightly as she stepped closer to Y/N and the rest, "It would be fair since you allowed us to call us by your first name, despite just meeting us."
"Okay." Y/N gave her another nod of understanding, "Is there something else can I ask you about?"
Minene looked at him questioningly, "What is it?"
"Why did become my adviser after what happened in Deika City?" Y/N wanted to know, "Many people would want to stay away from me if they were in your position."
"I personally asked to be put under you." Minene revealed, sitting down back on her seat next to Daiki across from Y/N, "Allow me to explain myself before you will ask me why. I asked to be put under you because of what you did after your Meta Ability evolved during your fight with me. What I witnessed back then was something even Destro himself would be proud of and I came to admire you deeply for it."
"She's like your biggest fan in our army." Daiki added, "Me and Yumiko-san lost the count of how many times she told us about you ever since our fight with our organization back in Deika City."
Asano nodded in confirmation, having just finished his second piece of cake, "This is something I can confirm as well. Even though I wouldn't call myself friends with Minene-san and Takeuchi-kun as we haven't really spoke with each other until today, I managed to overhear her stories about you. "
Minene blushed at this, crossing her arms below her large chest, "What? Is there something wrong with a woman voicing her appreciation for someone?
"There's nothing wrong with it. But maybe you could spare everyone the details of how it made you feel." Asano pointed out, remembering how uncomfortable he felt when Minene told him about the part how Y/N's display of power made her feel.
Y/N raised his brow at the mention of details, having never been told about it by everyone who brought it up to him, "Details?"
"This is something you don't want to know, Y/N." Asano cut Minene off as Daiki nodded in agreement. Minene shifted her gaze between them, pouting.
"Alright." Y/N nodded at Asano, feeling like it will be better for him if he won't know about the said details, considering how everyone made sure not to include them to him and shifted his gaze to Daiki, "Takeuchi-kun. Can you tell me more about your Quirk now?"
"Of course." Daiki nodded at him as he got up from the floor and stepped away from Y/N and the rest, stopping in the same part of the room as Minene stopped in for her presentation. It was when Y/N noticed something new about Daiki. It was the fact that he had a sheathed sword strapped to his wrist.
"You have a sword, Takeuchi-kun?" Y/N asked, gesturing to Daiki's sword as Asano held a plate with the pieces of cake out to Minene. Minene looked at it questioningly as she grabbed one piece of cake for herself and tasted it aftewards. She smiled to herself at the taste, licking her lips as she took another bite of her piece of cake.
"Yes. I need for my Meta Ability. You see. My Meta Ability is known as Moonslice." Daiki nodded in confirmation, pulling out his sword and and showed it off to Y/N to make sure the h/c haired boy will get a better look at it, "I can absorb or block the energy from an enemy attack and re-emit it again in powerful red energy strikes. It also allows me to use the absorbed energy to increase my speed and strength."
Y/N nodded in understanding, immediately writing of Daiki's power as something useful, "Interesting. Could you tell me more about it? Can you tell me how it works?"
"Sure." Daiki replied.
The black haired man went on an explanation of every possible detail regarding this Quirk. He described it as receiving energy in his sword and storing it before sending it back outward. His Quirk power seemed to depend on how much energy it absorbed from attacks. He could also retain the stored energy for some time and did not need to return the damage immediately. Y/N listened to all of it in interest, only finding himself reassured in the fact that Daiki will be an useful asset on the frontlines after the Paranormal Liberation Front will make it's move against the hero society.
Upon giving Y/N an explanation about the details of his Quirk, Minene suggested Daiki to show Y/N off his skills with his sword and Y/N nodded with her, feeling curious about it. Daiki nodded at them, agreeing with this idea himself and began swinging his sword around right after. Despite Y/N not being a big expert when it came to fighting with sword as his only experience with it was seeing Origami use her katana, he could tell Daiki was skilled with sword and practiced his skills for a long time which made sense, considering what his Quirk was.
Daiki stopped his presentation of his skills shortly after, sheathing his sword, "Alright. I think that's everything I had to tell and show you."
"Okay. Thank you for showing and telling me all of this. I'll make sure to remember it." Y/N made sure to express his gratitude to Daiki for showing him all of this, just like he did with Minene after she finished her presentation. Daiki nodded at him, acknowledging it as he sat next to Minene and his friend finishing a piece of cake, licking off the last bit of her from her little finger.
"I see I'm the only one left." Asano stated as Minene pointed at the cake, telling Daiki to try it and Daiki nodded, trying it right after and had the same reaction to it as Asano and Minene did.
Y/N shifted his gaze to him and nodded, "Yes. Could you tell me what your Quirk is?"
"Of course. My Meta Ability isn't too complicated. It is called Pistol Hands." Asano began his explanation as soon as Y/N shifted his attention to him. He held his hands out to Y/N and his hands transformed themselves into two pistols in the blink of an eye. He didn't step away from his presentation like Minene and Daiki did for their as his power was something he could show where he sat right now, "As you can see, it allows me to change my hands into pistol whenever I desire to. If I would compare it someone else's Meta Ability, then I would compare it to Lady Nagant's Meta Ability."
Y/N raised his brow at this, "Lady Nagant?"
"You've never heard about her?" Asano asked him.
Y/N shook his head, "Can't say I did."
"I see. Allow me to explain who she was to you, then." Asano said as Y/N nodded, "She was a Pro-Hero who ended up going rogue and was locked up in Tartarus after killing a fellow Pro-Hero. Her Meta Ability was similiar to mine in a way as she could turn her a part of her body into a gun as well. Only she could make a sniper rifle while I can make two pistols."
Y/N nodded at his explanation, "I see. Are your pistols like regular pistols or do they work in a different way?"
"They work like regular pistols. It includes everything. Like the amount of ammo they can carry within them and the range they have." Asano replied.
"What happens if you run out of the ammo in both of your pistols?" Y/N wanted to know.
"If that happens, I have to turn them back into my hands. Like this." Asano answered, turning his pistols back into his hands to do a presentation of it before turning them back into two pistols, "I counted the time it takes me to do this and it takes me the same time it would take someone experienced with weaponry to reload a pistol."
Y/N nodded in understanding, "Is there something else you can tell me about your Quirk?"
"Can't say I have." Asano shook his head, letting out a small sigh, "As much as I wish I could give you long details about my Meta Ability like my colleagues did, I don't think I have anything else to say to you about it."
"I see." Y/N once again nodded in understanding and looked at him questioningly, "Can I ask you something else?"
Asano raised his brow at the question, "What is it?"
"Why is a police detective like you in an organization like this one?" Y/N voiced his curiosity on this matter, "Don't get me wrong. It's not like I'm not happy to see someone from law enforcement in our army. I'm just curious about."
"I'm doing this for the sake of of the police officers such as myself, Tadaomi-kun and my collegues from work." Asano explained as Y/N listened to him in interest, "I joined the MLA because I want a free usage of the Meta Abilities for police officers such as myself. Despite us being at the head of the law such as heroes, we aren't allowed to use our Meta Abilities to their fullest just like they can. This is why Destro's message really speaks to me. If we will achieve his dream, then we will be allowed to use our Meta Abilities like heroes without needing to have special papers for it."
"What about your partner Nishijima?" Y/N brought up the matter of Asano's partner, having heard about him in the news, "Is he a part of our army as well or are you alone in it?
"Unfortunely Tadaomi-kun doesn't share my views on Destro's message as he called him a terrorist when I asked him what he thought about him once in our job." Asano replied, looking saddened by the fact that his friend didn't share his views on this matter, "I've been planning to fill him in on Destro's message and ask him to join the MLA, but was forced to gave up on it after he gave him opinion on Destro and labelled him a terrorist. Hopefully he will open his eyes after we will make our move in the following months as he means a lot to me as a friend."
Y/N sighed, finding himself getting reminded of him and Izuku when Asano uttered those words, "I see. I hope everything works out between you and your friend once he will learn the truth."
"Here's hoping." Asano nodded, appreciating Y/N"s sympathy as he knew his words must have made him think about Izuku. From the two conversations he had with Izuku during the two times he came into contact with him, he knew these two were close to each other as friends in the time before Y/N became a villain. He knew it was something he will have to bring up to him at some point of their cooperation.
Y/N clasped his hands together, "Alright. With the matter of your Quirks settled, we can move on to another matter I would like to talk with you."
Daiki looked at him questioningly, "What is it?"
"As you already know, my powers evolved back during out fight in Deika City." Y/N said, causing Minene to bit her bottom lip at the mention of this, "I wasn't able to test out my new abilities and to see what I can do right now with my power. I think it's finally time to get to know my new powers a bit better. It will help me get a better understanding of your Quirks as well and perharps we will come up with some moves we can do together in the process."
------
Origami stood in front of the railing, watching the stationary machine guns which had been placed in front of the front upper windows of the mansion as a way of defense. This idea came from her during the first meeting between the high ranking members of the Paranormal Liberation and much to her suprise even most of the Liberation Army members agreed with this idea. The tree logs were brought to her shortly after the meeting ended and she used her newly improved abilities to create stationary machine guns out of them.
The dark green haired girl turned away from where machine guns had been placed, nodding to herself in a satisfied manner as she was glad she managed to help her friends out with her improved Quirk even after they learned she can't recreate Overhaul's Quirk destroying bullets. She knew those machine guns will be great help for them in this mansion will be ever attacked by someone. The only scenario where they wouldn't become handy would be after someone would completely destroy the front half of the mansion which is something she doubted will happen.
She pushed herself into walk right after, beginning to make her way towards one of the many rooms in this mansion as she knew she was about to have a meeting with her advisers. She still felt unsure and nervous about leading an entire regiment of people in this army, but she promised herself that she will do her best in this new role. If she will have any problem with it, she knew she could count on Mr. Compress' help since both of them were oppointed as the leaders of the same regiment and Y/N's support.
She smiled slightly to herself. Despite several days having passed since her confession, she still couldn't believe Y/N was her boyfriend and she was more than happy with this turn of events. Those were with them as a boyfriend and girlfriend were amazing as she was more than looking forward to see the future of their relationship. She pushed those thoughts away shortly after, her thoughts going back to her advisers as she pulled out a piece of paper out of her pocket to see their names again.
Hasaki Kiruka
Nishimura Ryuunosuke
Arasaka Yumiko
The dark green haired girl shifted her gaze between the names of Nishimura Takeo and Arasaka Yumiko as neither of those names said anything to her. The name of Hasaki Kiruka did, though as she knew it was Slice's real name. If she was honest with herself, she was suprised to learn Slice was assigned to her as one of her advisers when she first learned about it as she didn't interact much with her other than this one situation when she handed her a tissue after Slice began crying upon learning about Nine's death. Perharps this is something she will have to ask her about later.
"Hello?" She said in a questioning tone, having just walked into the room where she was supposed to met with her advisers and looked around it, immediately noticing a group of three people sitting around a table. She instantly recognized Slice around them. Slice wasn't the only person she recognize around her advisers. The fox man from her fight with the reporter back in Deika City was there as well.
The last of her advisers was someone she did not recognize and knew was seeing for the first time in her life. That person was a woman with a long red hair with an undercut haircuit, leaving one side of her head shaved. She wore an orange hoodie which she had unzippied right now, revealing a plain black shirt underneath it. To this she wore tracks pants and boots which appeared to be similiar to the army boots. Origami didn't know why but she got the tomboy vibes from this woman as soon as she glanced at her.
The fox man got up from the couch and bowed his head respectfully, returning her greeting, "Hello, Lieutenant Weaponsmith."
"...You?" The dark green haired girl's eyes widened in suprise upon laying her eyes on the fox man from Deika City, having not expected to see him out of all people here.
"I see you're suprised to see me." The fox man remarked, immediately taking notice of Origami's widened eyes. Origami assumed him to be the Nishimura Ryuunosuke from the list with the names of her advisers as Nishimura was the only man from the list and the fox man was the only man in this room.
Origami nodded in confirmation, "Yes. Even after I learned about you surviving what happened back in Deika City, I wasn't expecting to see you again. Especially as one of my advisers."
Nishimura nodded at her, "I'm not suprised you think so. I'm certain your associates would be suprised to me as well if they were in your place right and went through what we went through in Deika City."
"Our co-commander must be going through something like this right now with Kasumi." The red haired woman with an undercut haircut muttered under her breath. Origami assumed her to be Arasaka Yumiko from the list, finding it quite obvious.
Origami's remained suprised by the presence of Nishimura as her advisers, "Would you mind if I asked you why are you here?"
"Not at all." Nishimura shook his head, "I'm here because I formed admiration for you after what I saw you overcome the odds you were put against in Deika City against Wong and his group."
Origami raised her brow at the name, being unfamiliar with it, "Wong?"
"The name of the reporter who was asking you all those questions." Nishimura explained as Origami nodded in agreement, "As I was saying, after I saw you overcome everything such impossible odds all by yourself and saw a display of your Meta Ability after your awakening, I can came to admire you and will be glad to fight alongside you after we will make our move after our Grand Commander will return."
"I-I see." Origami nodded at him, feeling slightly put-off and taken aback by the thought of a grown man like Nishimura admiring her. She smiled at him slightly, "Let's work well together from now on."
"Very well." Nishimura nodded back at him, "You don't seem to hold what happened back in Deika City against me."
"We're working together towards the same goal right now, right? I'm willing to put it behind us if it means accomplishing our goals." Origami replied, knowing this what Y/N would do if he was in her position, "Actually. It's nice someone as skilled with fighting swords as you are has been put as one of advisers."
Nishimura looked at her questioningly, "What do you mean?"
"I would like to improve my abilities with my katana." Origami replied, pulling out her katana to prove her point, "Until now, I only trained it by myself and on the training dummies as no one in the League used a weapon like this. Sure. Himiko-chan uses knives, but she doesn't really use blades as large as my katana. Perharps I I will manage to learn something new from you."
Nishimura looked at her questiongly, "Very well. You can count on my assistance. I'll be more than glad to share my fighting skills with you."
"Thank you." Origami smiled at him as Nishimura noticed something new about her appearance. She had something she didn't have back in Deika City. It was a bolt thrower like weapon and it was strapped to her hip.
He pointed his sword pointed the weapons strapped to her hip, "What is this? You didn't have it back in Deika City."
Origami looked down at her hip and set her eyes the bolt thrower. She grabbed it and showed it to every advisers, "It's my new weapon. I call it bolt thrower. It will allow me to use bolt arrows and attachable mines anytime I want."
Nishimura nodded in understanding, "I see."
"Sounds useful." Arasaka stated, keeping her hands in the pockets of her hoodie as she got up from the couch and walked over to Origami and Nishimura. Slice remained where she was right now, silently watching Origami.
Origami shifted her gaze to Arasaka and smiled at her, "I'm glad you think so! Arasaka Yumiko. Right?"
"Yeah." Arasaka nodded in confirmation.
"What about the ammunition?" Nishimura wanted to know, looking at Origami in interest, "What if you will ran out of the arrows and mines for it and won't have any sticks and rocks around to turn them into more ammo."
"Big Sis Magne actually came up with a solution for this problem." Origami replied, strapping her bolt thrower back to her hip as Nishimura and Arasaka exchanged curious glances with each other.
The dark green haired girl went over her body as quickly as possible as she took off one thing from her bag and placed it on the floor in front of her, revealing to be a quiver full of sticks. Upon placing it on the floor, he grabbed a belt wrapped around her stomach and turned it around, revealing to be a phanny back. She took it off and unzippied it, revealing to be filled with multiple rocks. She zipped it again a second later, putting in the floor in front of the quiver with rocks.
Origami pointed down at the items she had to placed on the floor, "She told me I should get myself something to keep sticks and rocks close to myself and I agreed with her."
Arasaka nodded in understanding, "I see."
"That's not all." Origami said as Arasaka and Nishimura exchanged glances with each other again, wondering what else she had store. She leaned down to pick up her phanny back and quiver, "I've been thinking about wearing a belt filled with shurikens around my waist."
"She really wants to have a belt with shirukens as well?" Arasaka thought to herself, shaking her head as she imagined how Origami will look like if she will actually decide to put this idea of hers with shirukens into action. She didn't know why but a part of her was slowly starting to respect this girl, "She really is starting to live up to her name of Weaponsmith."
"What about your pistol?" Nishimura asked, recalling Origami having it and using it back in Deika City, "I don't think you will have enough space to keep a holster in it in in your belt."
"I'll most likely stop wearing it to have more place for the other stuff." Origami gave him an honest, putting her rock filled phanny back around her as as Nishimura nodded in understanding, "It doesn't mean I will stop to use it, though. I already got an idea on how to still have my pistol involved in my fighting to make sure everything Kataoka-kun taught me won't go to waste. It will have something to do with the idea on how to improve my prosthetic arm that I brought up to Skeptic on our last meeting. I just have to wait for him to made it for me..."
Nishimura nodded in understanding, "I see."
-------
Origami, Nishimura and Arasaka walked back to the table, joining Slice at it shortly after Origami explained her new weaponry and her idea on how to improve the weaponry she was carrying on herself further. After gathering themselves around the table, the four of them began their conversation with each other with Slice being the most quiet around them as she only occasionally added a word or two to their conversation the further they went into it.
The dark green haired girl learned some interesting things about Nishimura and Arasaka throughout their conversation and managed to learn more about them as people. She learned about Nishimura working a businessman. Origami wasn't really suprised by this fact as it explained why was her wearing a business suit. She learned what was his Quirk as well. His Quirk was called "Speed Blade" and gave him an ability of swinging his sword at high speed for about ten seconds when activated, allowing him to make more swings and hits with his sword than he or any other person would be able to.
Origami nodded in understanding upon getting this information from him, now understand why he was swinging his sword so quickly at her in one moment during her fight with him back in Deika City. She learned what was Arasaka's Quirk as well. Her Quirk was called "Ball Manipulation", making her capable of manipulating how two metal balls move at her will after tossing them them into the air. According to Arasaka, her action zone with her metal balls had about ten meters from where she would standing.
She was still yet to find out what Arasaka was doing for the living and Arasaka shared this information with her right after she asked her abouti, "...I work in a dojo as one of the instructors."
"An instructor in a dojo? You're a martial artist?" Origami wanted to be sure if she didn't misheard Arasaka, immediately getting interested in this fact about her as she recalled how she formed interest in learning some hand-in-hand skills after seeing Y/N and Rappa train together, but didn't ask them if they can join them for their training sessions as Rappa's fighting style wasn't exactly for her.
"Yes. I was training in those since I was a kid." Arasaka nodded in confirmation, instantly taking notice of Origami's interest, "Now I train other people in karate. You seem interested in it. Why is that?"
"Could you train me in martial arts?" Origami wanted to know.
Arasaka looked pleasantly suprised by the question, "Really? You want to be trained in martial arts?"
"Yes." Origami nodded in confirmation, "I've been wanting to improve my hand in hand combat skills after Rappa and Tengai-kun joined the League and after I saw Rappa train Y/N. I didn't ask them if I want to join them, though because Rappa's fighting style doesn't really fit me."
"Yeah. I can tell." Arasaka crossed her arms with a look of understanding on her face. Now she was starting to understand why she was assigned to Origami as one of her advisers, "From what I've seen from Lieutenant Rappa when I saw him training here a few days ago, his fighting style seems a bit too chaotic."
"Exactly." Origami nodded in agreement, "This is why could you train me for a bit in karate? If you want to, of course, I don't want to force into something you want to do just because I outrank you in our army."
Arasaka smiled at Origami, "Alright. If you want to, I can show you a thing or two."
"Thank you so much." Origami smiled at her gratefully, "When can we start?"
"Soon. At first I would have to get a karate gi for you." Arasaka replied as Origami nodded in understanding, "Could you tell your measurements after we will be done with this meeting?"
Origami gave her another nod, "Of course."
Nishimura crossed his arms, "You want me train you to improve your fighting abilities with you katana and now want Arasaka-san to train you in martial arts. You really are putting yourself through a lot of training. Many people would think you're making yourself too busy with all of those activities."
"I know." Origami admitted, rubbing the back of her head as she blushed slightly, "I just want to keep improving my skills.I want to make sure I'll be ready no matter what happens in the upcoming months and I want to be as much helpful as I can to my friends..."
"I see." Nishimura nodded in understanding, "This is very admirable of you to put yourself through all this training for the sake of your comrades."
"T-Thank you!" Origami smiled, "I just want to make sure our goal of creating a better world for people like us will be achieved. I want to help them create it as much as I can. I want to help Y/N create it as much as I can."
Nishimura once again nodded at her in understanding, recalling what she said to the reporter back in Deika City, "Y/N. You care about him a lot, right?"
The blush and the smile on Origami's face grew wider as she nodded in confirmation, "Yes. He's very dear to me. I love him. He's my hero. He reached out to me when no one else would."
"So the rumors were true, huh?" Arasaka stated with a knowing look on her face.
Origami looked at her questioningly, "Rumors?"
Arasaka smirked at Origami, giving her the explanation to what she just meant, "There were some rumors going around our army about our co-commader seeing one of our lieutenants as some of us saw you two walking hand in hand together. Looks like they were true, after all."
"O-Oh!" Origami blushed in embarassment at this, "I-I see. Of course some people would see us together. It's not like we were keeping it a secret by holding hands whenever we walk together..."
Arasaka's smirk grew wider, "Why are you so embarassed about it? It's perfectly normal."
"I know. It's just. All of this is still new to me and..." Origami's died in her her throat as she glanced to the side and set her eyes on Slice who was silent throughout the conversation. She immiedately saw how the red haired woman was holding back tears right now. She looked away from her and shifted her gaze between Arasaka and Nishimura, "Can you leave me alone with Slice for a moment? I need to talk about with her in private."
Arasaka shifted her gaze to Slice and noticed there was something wrong with her. She got up right after, "Of course."
"We'll be at the hallway. If you will need us, just call out for us." Nishimura added, having noticed there was something wrong with Slice as well as he got up as well. She and Arasaka walked out of the room a few seconds later, entering the hallway.
Origami waited until Nishimura and Arasaka walked out of the room and shifted her gaze to Slice. She looked at her with a concerned look on her face, "Hey. Is everything alright?"
"Y-Yes." Slice nodded, her tearful voice and tearful eyes betraying her.
Origami reached out her prosthetic hand out to Slice and put it on her shoulder in a comforting manner, "Hey. I can tell there something wrong. Come on. You call tell me about it."
Slice bit her bottom lip, her tears beginning to fall down her cheeks as she gave Origami her answer, "...I-It just. The way you talked about Y/N reminded me of Nine..."
"Nine. He was important to you. Right?" Origami asked her with a look of understanding on her face.
"Y-Yes." Slice nodded in confirmation, now openly sobbing as her makeup was once again running down her face, "He gave me a place to belong in a world where I was ostracized by everyone and gave me purpose when I was completely alone. He meant a lot to me for it. I-I just wish I got a chance to tell them about it. I just wish he was still a-alive."
"Come here." Origami said as she took Slice's head and put it on her shoulder, wanting to offer her some comfort. She knew what Slice meant when she said how Nine meant to her a lot and she couldn't imagine herself in her position. She couldn't imagine herself losing Y/N. She rubbed her back comfortingly, "Let it all out. I'm here for you."
Slice was taken aback by what just happened, having not expected the dark green haired girl to allow her to cry into her shoulder like that. It was when she remembered how Origami comforted her back when she and her crew found out about Nine's death by giving her some tissues. It made her realize how Origami just wanted to comfort her over the loss of someone she deeply cared about. She pressed her head further into Origami's shoulder, allowing herself to cry out all those emotions.
Origami kept Slice's head on her shoulder for the next few minutes, proceeding to offer her as much comfort and support as she could right now. The dark green haired girl's shoulder got a little wet because of it and will probably get a little filthy, because of Slice's ruined makeup, but she didn't care about it and continued to allow Slice to cry into it, because she knew she needed some comfort right now. Despite the state she was in right now, Slice smiled slightly as she appreciated the support Origami had just offered her.
-----
Spinner leaned against the wall with his arms crossed, having just ended his first meeting with his advisers as he watched how the hodded man with spider features who introduced himself him to as Kitagawa Tohru and an insect woman who introduce herself to him as Narukami Sae walked out of the room and walked off the right, vanishing from his view a second later. They must have already had plans after their meeting with him and must have walked off to put them into action. What were those plans? Spinner had no idea.
The lizard man closed his eyes, letting out a soft exhale as he allowed himself to think about his new position as a leader of one of the regiments in this army and how he had people working under him right now. He was still unsure how he should feel about himself having a leader position in something as he never thought he would receive such a position after joining the League. Before all of this, in the time before joining the League, the thought of him having such position in something as large as the Paranormal Liberation Front was completely alien to him.
"Spinner." Chimera's voice calling out for him brought him out of his thoughts as Spinner opened his eyes, bringing himself out of his thoughts and looked over to the source of the voice, seeing the member of Nine's crew standing in front of him with a questioning look on his face.
"Chimera?" The lizard man raised his brow at him, suprised to see him still here because he was certain he left the room with Kitagawa and Narukami, "What are you doing here? I thought you already left with the other two."
"I thought I'll stay here for a bit and ask you about something." Chimera replied as he moved closer to Spinner and leaned against the wall next to him.
"What do you want to know?" Spinner wanted to know what Chimera wanted to know from him.
Chimera crossed his arms, "You suffered a heteromorph discrimination, right?"
"I should have figured out you'd ask me this question sooner or later, considering you went through it yourself." Spinner sighed, recalling what Chimera told Y/N after he agreed to join their cause. He nodded in confirmation, letting out one more sigh, "Yeah. I went through the heteromorph discrimination too." He looked at him questioningly, asking him his own question right after, "Now that you asked about it, now I wonder if Kitagawa and Narukami went through this too."
"I think Kitagawa went through this as well." Chimera replied as Spinner looked at him questioningly, "I overheard him talking with someone about a day after me and my crew joined your organization and someone asked him why he is covering his face with a hood for most of the time. He told them it's to hide scars or something. I'm uncertain about Narukami, though."
"I see." Spinner nodded in understanding as he wondered by Kitagawa kept his face covered for the entire meeting with him and the rest of his advisers. Considering how bad the discrimination could go against the heteromorphs at times, he wouldn't be suprised if Kitagawa got the scars from the abuse. He let out a sigh at this, "It's why I was keeping myself locked up in my house before I joined the League."
Chimera hummed questioningly at this, "Hmm?"
Spinner sighed, thinking about his old life. "I was a hikimori before I joined the League. I locked myself away from the world to avoid the discrimination as I didn't want to suffer the abuse the hetermorphs often go through. If I didn't see Stain on TV, then I would probably still be rooting away in my house to escape it."
"Stain?" Chimera raised his brow at the sudden mention of the Hero Killer. He blinked a few seconds realized, having realized why Spinner mentioned him, "Oh, I see. You joined the League shortly after his capture in Hosu City. It would make sense, considering your first appearance with them when you attacked U.A's summer camp was after he was captured and locked up."
"Yes. I joined the League because I felt inspired by him and wanted to go in his footsteps. With him being associated with the League, I knew they would be the best people to join if I wanted to make his dreams a reality." Spinner confirmed, letting out as sigh before adding, "There's no trace of him in the League right now and to be honest I don't care about it right now. Not as much as I would mind it a few months ago at least. I would be a nobody if I joined the League and never regretted joining them."
"Yeah. I know what you're saying." Chimera sighed, "I felt the same about joining Nine. If I never joined him, then I would be just some nobody. After Nine saved me and asked me to join him, I felt like like I finally had a purpose and wanted to see a world created by him. Unfortunely this won't happen now, because he's dead."
"I'm sorry about what happened to your leader." Spinner offered Chimera condolences upon hearing mention his as Chimera shot him a slightly grateful look. Despite the League using Nine's death as a way of recruiting Chimera, Slice and Mummy for their cause, he couldn't help but sympathize with him when it came about their leaders, "I don't know what I would do if the League lost Shigaraki, like you and your crew lost Nine."
"You seem to care a lot about Shigaraki." Chimera stated, raising his brow questioningly as he wanted to learn a bit more about this.
"I care about everyone in the League. All of them accepted me for what I am I will never stop being grateful for it. I consider Shigaraki to be my best friend among them, though. My first real friend." Spinner voiced his honest thoughts on Shigaraki to Chimera. A fond smile formed on his face after , "Both of us along with Y/N bonded over gaming and stuff shortly after I joined the League and got an idea of destroying all the scummy game companies after we will accomplish our goals. To be honest when I was first brought into the League, I wasn't expecting to get along with him as well as I did."
"I see." Chimera nodded in understanding. If he was honest with himself, Spinner's story of how the League accepted him as one of their own reminded him a lot of Nine's crew accepted them after it was formed, "Hey. Do you think we could do it after we will make our move after Shigaraki comes back from his operation?"
Spinner looked at him questioningly, "What do you mean?"
"Do you think we could do something to spread our message to the other heteromorphs once we will make our move?" Chimera explained his intentions to him, "After we will voice our intention of creating a society where the heteromorph descrimination will be destroyed, then I can see many heteromorphs who suffered discrimination joining our case and expanding our army further."
Spinner nodded at idea, knowing it was good idea, "Maybe it would work if we worked on it well. We could have Skeptic and Curious spread our messages regarding ending the heteromorph discrimination everywhere."
"Exactly." Chimera nodded in agreement, "We could have had someone as the face of the heteromorphs in our army. Maybe we would use your face for it.."
"What? Me?" Spinner looked suprised by the suggestion as Chimera nodded in confirmation. The lizard man shook his head right after, "Listen. Me as the face of it won't work. I'm a follower. I'm not a leader. Why didn't you suggest yourself as the face of it?"
"Because I'm just an adviser. You're the only lieutenant in our army who is a heteromorph and are close friends with both of the commanders in our army." Chimera pointed out, "By having you, one of the lieutenants of this army, as the face of your movement, we could show how our army doesn't discriminate heteromorphs and how we are willing to put people like us in positions of power. It would keep the arguments of heroes how they unlike us put heteromorphs somewhere high up out of their mouths."
The discussion Spinner was having with Chimera right now brought him back to the thoughts he was having before Chimera called out for him. He was unsure how he will handle this position as the lieutenant of the Paranormal Liberation Front and didn't know how well he will die in this position. If was unsure about something like this, then how he was supposed to be a face of the heteromorph if they will put Chimera's plan into action in the near future?
The lizard man sighed to himself, feeling all the bad things he was thinking about himself coming back to him. He remembered the supporting words Y/N and Shigaraki gave him on the roof after he voiced his insecurities to them. Despite this and their words of encouragement coming back to him, he still couldn't imagine himself in a position. Unlike Y/N and Shigaraki, he was never the leader and never thought of himself as one. Just like he said to Hanabata back in Deika City, he was a lower class citizen who couldn't accomplish anything without standing on the shoulders of others.
He really doubted he would be able to pull something like this off, especially since he had zero experience in it. His weak Quirk had something to do with it as well. He knew how large a movement of the hetermorph could become after this idea would work, considering the amount of hetermorphs out there. A leader of a movement as large as this would need to have a strong power, unlike him. Kinda like Shigaraki has his decay and Y/N has his red energy. Compared to them, he would a weak leader when it came to the strength of their powers...
Chimera quickly took notice of his behavior and narrowed his eyes at him, keeping his arms crossed, "I see you're still unsure about this."
"Yeah." Spinner sighed, remaining reluctant about it, "Just give me time to think about..."
"Fine." Chimera nodded at Spinner, giving him some time to think about it. He moved away from the wall he was leaning against shortly after and began to walk out of the room, "Alright. I think I should get going. We'll talk later."
"Do you have anything planned for today?" Spinner asked.
Chimera shook his head, "Not really. Mummy and Slice should be busy with their own business with their own lieutenants. Why are you asking? Do you have any ideas?"
"How good you are at video games?" Spinner wanted to know.
"Pretty terrible. Never played much of those." Chimera gave him an honest answer.
"Looks like we have a lot of ground to cover, then." Spinner stated, letting out a chuckle as he patted Chimera's shoulder, "Come on. I'll show you a technique or two in video games."
Chimera shrugged, "Fine. It's not like I have much to do, anyway."
Spinner smiled slightly, beginning to take Chimera to his room as he managed to get his mind off all the thoughts he was having about Chimera's idea of using him as a face to bring more heteromorph to their side. Chimera silently followed him and both of them started to make their way towards Spinner's room. Despite the ending of their conversation going the way it did because of Spinner insecurities getting the best of him, both of them were glad to have another heteromorph in their organization on the inside.
------
Time had passed since Y/N started learning more about his new abilities with his Quirk with the help of Minene, Daiki and Asano and the h/c haired boy could easily tell he learned as much about it as he could have in this amount of time. During the testing of his new set of abilities with his Quirk, he managed to save Minene, Daiki and Asano's Quirks in action more and it helped him understanding his advisers a bit more so he killed two birds with one stone by asking them to help him test out his new abilities.
The first part of his improved abilities included his ability of flying freely right now, without having to use one of his hands to keep himself in the air. He was glad to have receinved an upgrade to this part of this power as he knew it would make it easier for him to move in the air and would make it easier for him to fight in the air because he will be able to use to both of his hands while fighting while floating above the ground. If he was honest with himself, flying freely with him not having to use at least at one of his hands in the air made the experience of flying all the way better and more comfortable for him.
The second part of his improved abilities included his balls of the red energy. He didn't have to wait several seconds to make those anymore and instead now had to wait only a second or two for a ball to be created. The balls were more powerful from the last ones as well as they were not creating small explosion while colliding with the ground. He didn't know how this change in his Quirk affected 'The Red Fist of Doom", though. He was unsure whether he had to wait the same amount of time for enough red energy to gathered around his fist or if he had to wait less time now.
The third part of his improved abilities included his ability of holding more than one person in place, just like he did back in Deika City with the members of Minene's group, before lifting them up above the ground. Holding someone in place was much easier for him as well as he could easily hold someone in place without an ability to move even an inch forward or backwards right now, unlike previously where he had to heavily focus to make it happen.
The fourth part of his improved abilities included the telekinesis part of his power. Even though he wasn't exactly sure how much it improved at the moment, he could tell it was more powerful from everything he saw so far such as his ability of holding a few members of Minene's group before killing them with Bloody Rain. He made sure to test it out today as well with Asano, Minene and Daiki and he could lift them up above the ground. He didn't what the limit of people he could lift above the ground, though. He will have to ask Twice for help in this matter.
The fifth part of his improved abilities was the improved strength of his punches. His red energy was already making his punches stronger than the one coming from a normal uncovered fist before, but right now the strength of them was even stronger than before. With the training he received from Rappa, he knew it made him a much bigger threat in close combat. He knew this is something Rappa will appreciate as well in their friendly sparrings in the future as well.
He got some new abilities from his Quirk awakening back in Deika City as well. The first part of them included his ability of covering his entire body with the red energy. He didn't think much of it at first back when it happened in Deika City as he didn't thought it had any notable abilities. He found out how wrong he was right now as it turned out it works as some kind of protective barrier for him. It wasn't really durable, though as it was destroying with just one hit from someone. He made sure to test it out with both Minene and Daiki. It was still a really helpful ability as it would help him greatly in fight with strong enemies. This finding made even Y/N chuckle a little as he knew Shigaraki and Spinner would compare to Quen from the Witcher games if they were here with him right now.
The second part of his new abilities included his ability of sending out a wave of the red energy. Just like with his shield of the red energy, he didn't think much of it at first as he wrote it off as a sign of his Quirk evolving. He was wrong about this as well as this energy wave turned out to a small EMP. The length of this EMP was not very large, though as it was only five meters of every direction around him. It lasted only a few minutes as well. He tested it out with Asano, Minene and Daiki's devices after sending out a wave during this testing. Despite those two drawbacks, he knew could make good uses of it in the future.
There was something he considered to be the third part of his new abilities included his ability, but didn't have how to test it out right now. It was an ability of turning things into sharpened objects. Something on the back of his head telling him he could do it with his power right now, even if he didn't have any proof for this, but didn't have a way of testing this. He knew he could test it out on a bunch of ice, but the only way of getting a lot of ice around him was asking Geten to summon some for him and he doubted Geten would do it for him, considering Geten had a clear dislike of him. It left him with an option of waiting for an opportunity to test it out with hopes of it happening soon.
"...Are you sure you want me to do this?" Asano asked with an uncertain look on his face, aiming his right pistol hand at Y/N's left foot as Y/N red energy was circling across his entire body right now. The h/c haired boy having covered himself with it a few moments ago and asked Asano if he could shot him in the foot, wanting to know if his barrier can block a bullet as well. Despite being extremely reluctant about doing so at first, Asano eventually agreed for this.
"Yes. Let's just get this over with." Y/N nodded in confirmation, feeling quite nervous about it himself as he really, really hoped his protective barrier will block the bullet otherwise he will have to go to Ayaka and he can already tell how she will react if she will tell how did he got hurt. Not only her. He can tell how everyone else will react to this, even if he will tell them he took this risk to test out the abilities of his new power.
"Alright. I'm doing this right now." Asano told him with an extremely reluctant look on his face as Y/N clenched his teeth, holding his breath as he waited for the results of this test to come out. Daiki and Minene watched everything from where they stood. Daiki watched everything silently as Minene kept her hand clasped with an expectant look on her face.
The detective's pistol hand fired shortly after and, much to the relief of everyone in the room, the barrier of the red enercy circling around Y/N's body protected him from the gunshot. The bullet hit the barrier, but didn't hit his body, resulting in it landing on the floor in between Y/N and Asano's feet. Y/N and Asano looked at each other a second later, the barrier no longer present on the former's body and both of them exchanged relieved glances with each other.
"It worked." The h/c haired boy smiled at the detective as Daiki smiled slightly, glad to see it worked while Minene blushed at what she just saw, keeping her hands clasped as she enjoyed another display of Y/N's Quirk.
Asano smiled back at him, "Yeah. That's a relief. I was really worried it wouldn't work."
Y/N nodded in agreement, "Yeah. Me too. Good to know we didn't have to worry about anything in the end."
"Is there anything else you want to test when it comes to your Meta Ability today?" Daiki asked, causing both Y/N and Asano to look towards him and Minene.
"No. I don't think we have anything else to test out for now." Y/N shook his head, having tested out everything he wanted to test today. There was still one more matter left, but he knew only Geten could help him when it comes to testing it out. He shifted his gaze between Asano, Minene and Daiki, shooting each of them a grateful look to show them he was grateful for what they did with him today, "Thank you all of you for for helping me get a better understanding of my improved Quirk."
"It was a pleasure." Asano nodded at him with a smile on his face as Daiki silently nodded in agreement.
Minene rapidly nodded her head, "Anytime, Y/N~."
"Alright. This marks the end of our first meeting." Y/N informed his advisers, once again shifting his gaze between all three of them, "Thank you all of you for coming today. All of you did great. We will begin our training for the upcoming months on the next meeting."
"You did great today as well, Y/N!" Minene complimented him, her smile and blush refusing to leave her face as she stepped closer to him and stopped in front of him. Asano silently walked away from them, walking over to the table with the intention of taking the last piece of cake for himself.
Y/N smiled slightly at Minene as soon as she stopped next to him, "Thank you. Hopefully I'll manage to master as much of them as possible until Tomura-kun comes back from his operation."
"I'm sure you will and I'm certain you will do some wonderful displays of your Meta Ability once we will make our move." Minene wasted no time when it came to voicing her support to Y/N. She winked at him, letting out a deep excited breath at the thought of this, "Just thinking about it makes me excited~."
Y/N raised his brow at her choice of words and her behavior, "Okay?"
Minene's smile faded away from her face shortly after as her face became more serious, knowing there was something she had to talk about with him, "Y/N. About what happened in Deika City..."
Y/N looked at her questioningly, "Yes?"
Minene bowed her head in an apologetic manner, "I'm so sorry for what happened back in Deika City!"
"Okay." Y/N nodded at Minene, accepting her apology, "Apology accepted."
Minene looked up at him with a suprised look on her face, "What? Just like that?"
"Yes." Y/N confirmed it to her without any hesitation in his voice, "I can tell you feel sorry for what happened back in Deika City and apologized to me even you didn't really had to do it. That's enough for me not to hold it against you."
"I see..." Minene nodded at him. She was glad he didn't hold it against it, but didn't felt entirely satisfied because she didn't felt okay with Y/N accepting her apology right away without wanting anything from her, "I don't really feel the best with you just letting me go without anything, though. Are you sure you don't want me to do anything for you?" She reached out to him and ran her hand across his scar, "I'm willing to do anything to make this up to you somehow."
Y/N raised his brow at this, grabbing her hand and pulling it away from his scar. Minene understood he didn't felt comfortable with her touching it and didn't reach out towards it again, "Anything?"
Minene blushed slightly in excitement at this, getting the wrong idea as she started to think about something else than what Y/N had in mind, "Yes. Anything~."
"Alright. Just be a good adviser to me and let's work together well in the upcoming months. Especially since you were assigned as my number one adviser." Y/N replied, giving Minene different answer than what she expected and wanted to hear from him. If this is what would make Minene feel better, then he would give her an answer to this question even if it was something like this. He his best not to blush right now as he knew what she was suggesting right now and didn't want to show any notable reactions to this realization.
"O-Oh. Okay." Minene nodded at him, looking slightly disappointed by the answer he gave her. She got rid of the disappointment from her face a second later and nodded at him, "If that's the case, then I swear to you that I'll do my best as your adviser and do everything in my power in making sure your Meta Ability will be ready for our Commander's return."
Y/N smiled at her, "Alright. Thank you."
"Can I ask you something?" Minene asked, feeling like she had to know the answer to this question.
Y/N looked at her questioningly, "What is it?"
"Why are you being so nice to me?" Minene voiced her question to him, "Even before I apologized to you, you treated me nicely. Many people wouldn't treat me like this if they were in your position."
"I have one rule when it comes to my associates. You are a human and deserve to be treated as such." Y/N replied, bringing up his main rule when it comes to associates to her.
"I-I see." Minene nodded in understanding, beginning to blush at this rule. She bit her bottom lip at this as her blush started to grow wider, feeling her admiration for the h/c haired boy in front of her grow. She leaned closer to Y/N, planting a kiss on his cheek and turned away from him, beginning to make her way towards Asano, "H-Hey! Asano-kun! Is there any cake left?"
"I see she's being her usual self." Daiki chuckled, watching Minene walk over to Asano and stopped next to Y/N.
Y/N shifted his gaze to Daiki and looked at him questioningly, blushing from what just happened, "Does she always act like this?"
"Yes." Daiki nodded in confirmation without hesitation, "You'll get used it rather quickly. Trust me on this. As her childhood friend, I can see tell you she's not so bad once you get to know her. She just tends to be more open about stuff like this than most people. Especially towards someone she admires, like you,"
"I see." Y/N nodded in understanding, beginning to ask himself internally if this is how Shigaraki felt whenever Re-Desto showed him admiration towards him. He was really glad Origami wasn't here right now otherwise things would get even more awkward.
"It's still a massive improvement in her behavior compared to how she was when she was a teen." Daiki stated as Y/N raised his brow at this, "Be grateful you haven't seen her when she was going through puberty." She shivered a bit at those memories, "This part of her was even worse back then and me and Yumiko had to endure it. If she would ever become a hero, then I'm certain people would be calling her the next Midnight or something."
"I see." Y/N once again nodded in understanding and looked at him questioningly a second later, "How old are you two? If you two are childhood friends, then I assume you two are of the same age."
"Both of us are 22." Daiki explained, "Why are you asking me this?"
"Just curious." Y/N replied as Daiki nodded in understanding. It was when an idea popped into his mind. He made sure to ask it about Daiki right after, "Hey. Can I ask you something?"
Daiki chuckled, "I don't think you need to ask me about it."
"Alright. So, you've been in the MLA for quite some time at this point, right?" Y/N wanted to be sure.
Daiki nodded in confirmation, wondering where Y/N was going with this question, "Yes."
"Would you happen to know any chef in this army who know how to prepare those expensive wagyu steaks?" Y/N voiced his question to him, remembering how Origami showed interest in eating those back when the League was having sushi together.
"I work as a ramen chef in my free time and know a few fellow chefs in our army. I'll send out a word to them and maybe we'll find someone." Daiki nodded at Y/N, getting a smile out of him. He looked at him questioningly right after, "Why are you asking?"
"I just wanted to prepare something for my girlfriend Origami." Y/N explained as Daiki hummed in understanding, "So. You work as a ramen chef?"
"Yes. Always liked to cook when I was a kid. This kind of career choice was an obvious choice for me when I got older." Daiki explained, smilling as he uttered those words. It showed Y/N how he really liked his job.
"I see." Y/N nodded, finding he and Daiki had something in common, "Looks like we have something in common."
Daiki looked pleasantly suprised by this, "Really? You're into cooking as well?"
"Not into cooking. I'm more into baking." Y/N explained to him.
"Baking?" Daiki blinked, having just realized something, "Wait a second? The cake you brought with you was made by you?"
Y/N nodded in confirmation, "Yes. I had some baking equipment installed in my room a few days ago and I thought I could finally put it to use."
"I see." Daiki smiled at him, "The cake was really good, by the way."
Y/N smiled back at him, "I'm glad you liked it. Was really worried the cake didn't came out alright when I made it yesterday as it was the first cake I made in months. I'm glad I was wrong, though. I'll try to bring one to our meeting from time to time."
Daiki nodded, "Alright."
"...What are you two talking about?" Minene asked in an interested tone as she walked over to Daiki and Asano. The purple haired woman had a small pout on her face as she uttered her question, because of Asano eating the last piece of cake before she could get her hands on it.
"Just talking about a few things before we part ways for the day." Daiki explained as Minene nodded in understanding. He shifted his gaze to Y/N right after, "Is that everything?"
"Yes. You and Kasumi-chan can go now." Y/N said as Asano raised his brow, having noticed he wasn't mentioned by Y/N. The h/c haired boy set his eyes on him a second later, "Asano-kun. Could you stay here for a moment? There's something I need to talk with you in private."
"Of course." Asano nodded in confirmation. Knowing Y/N wanted to talk with him about something in important in private, Daiki and Minene voiced their goodbyes to Y/N and walked out of the room, leaving Y/N and Asano alone in it. After he was left alone with Y/N in the room, Asano looked at him questioningly as Y/N sat down on the couch, "What did you want to talk about with me?"
"About my old school." Y/N replied, patting the are aon the couch next to him, "You were there shortly after I went missing. Right?"
"Yes. I was." Asano nodded in confirmation as he walked over to Y/N and sat down next to him, "What do you want to know about it?"
"How were the things there after I went missing?" Y/N wanted to know.
Asano put his hand on his chin, trying to recall everything as best as he could, "The principal seemed extremely nervous from what I remembered. He wasn't the only one. Your homeroom teacher acted extremely nervous whenever I or one of my collegues asked him about you as well. They seemed to get only more nervous whenever we asked one of your classmates about you and all of them were replying how they didn't know you very well."
Y/N nodded in understanding, listening to all of it interest, "I see. Did tell you anything about the bullying I endured at their school and how they turned blind eye to it?"
"No. They didn't." Asano looked as if it was a new information, "You were really bullied at that school?"
"Yes. Not only me. Midoriya-kun was bullied there as well." Y/N nodded in confirmation as Asano listened to him in interest, "Sometimes it was happening right in front of our homeroom teacher at our classroom and he never did anything to stop this bullying."
Asano nodded in understanding, looking quite disgusted by the new fact he had just learned about this case, "I see."
"Two of my worst tormentors from that school are heroes in training right now." Y/N continued his explanation as Asano's eyes slightly widened at this information, "One is attending U.A and the other one is attending the Shiketsu. I'm certain you are familiar with one of them as he won the U.A Sports Festival."
"What? Do you mean Bakugo Katsuki?" Asano wanted to be sure if he understood him correctly. If if he thought correctly, then he wouldn't be suprised by this as Bakugo's behavior left a lot to be desired when he and his partner tried to question him about Y/N's possible whereabouts all those months ago.
Y/N nodded in confirmation, "Yes. He treated everyone like they were below him, especially me and Midoriya-kun and everyone always ignored it, because of his flashy Quirk and his desire to become a hero. This brings me a question. How did he react when you asked him about after I went missing?"
"He laughed and told us you must have done this for attention." Asano replied, "When me and Nishijima asked the principal and your homeroom teacher about his behavior, they just shrugged at us sheepishly."
"I see." Y/N scoffed, shaking his head, "The audacity of him telling I did this for attention. Like he has any right to accuse me of doing something for attention."
Asano looked at him questioningly, "Why are you asking me about all of this?"
Y/N smiled at him, "Let's just say I recently got an idea how to lower everyone's trust in heroes and how to expose the faults of the current system to them like how people with flashy Quirk and dreams of becoming heroes are treated like they can do more than a normal person. With me having someone who can back up my words and this person being a police detective who worked on my case, it will make my message more believable to the public."
"I see." Asano smiled back at Y/N, looking at him with an interested look on his face as Y/N told him about his plan of the League using their resources to share their stories and their reasons for becoming villains with the world, making him the first person in the army to be filled in on this idea.

Here we go with the Preparation arc.
The new trailer and the release date came out for the AOT finale and I have only one thing to say about it. If anyone's planning on killing me, wait till after November 4.
Spy x Family season 2 got a release date as well and I'm looking forward to see it as well. Can't wait to see more antics of the Forger family.
The same goes for season 2 of the Arknights anime adaptation as it got it's release date as well (Talk about getting many release dates since I posted the last chapter, lol). The fact that this premieres one day before Spy x Family season 2 makes this even better.
The new Helluva Boss episode came out and I really liked it. Definitely one of my top 3 episodes of the show. Fizz and Ozzie's relationship is EVERYTHING. It was just so wholesome. I loved every second they were on the screen together. Seeing Blitzo's meeting with someone from his past not ending with the said person cursing him out was a nice change as well and the flashback part with Blitzo and Fizz gave me some ideas for some scenes in my Barbie Wire x Human Male Reader idea.
