Overhaul
Y/N turned off the sink, having just finished washing his hands as he looked at the reflection of himself in the mirror in bathroom of the warehouse which continued to serve of the League's hideout for now and it seemed like it will continue to serve as one for now unless something such as civilians getting suspicious about this place will happen and will force the League to move out to different location.
The h/c haired boy let out a soft exhale as continued to stare at his reflection in the mirror. Today was the day when the arranged meeting between the League of Villains and the yakuza and many scenarios of how the meeting between their organization will go flew through his mind. Whatever was going to happen today, he just hoped everything will work out fine and the League and yakuza will end up finding some common language with each other.
He went back to the warehouse yesterday shorty after his conversation with Twice about his past and about the yakuza, now knowing more about it thanks to the information Twice had provided him. The yakuza Twice has stumbled upon a few days ago was known as Shie Hassaikai and it was led by a young man who was known as Overhaul. Twice couldn't provide much Y/N much information about this Overhaul person, though as he didn't know much about him himself.
Y/N made sure to repeat everything Twice told him to Shigaraki and Kurogiri right after he coming back to the warehouse. It was when he learned something from Overahaul. Shigaraki heard about Overhaul before, having been shown a picture from him by All For One. He just like Twice couldn't say much about him, though as All For One didn't told him much information about him.
This only made Y/N more curious about this Overhaul person as he knew there must have been a reason why his Sensei was keeping a picture of him and showed it to Shigaraki. He made sure to voice his thoughts on the matter of arranging the meeting between their organizations right after, letting Shigaraki know he personally thought they should arrange this meeting. Shigaraki agreed with him and told Kurogiri to arrange a meeting about the League and Shie Hassaikai. Kurogiri was pleased with his decision and went to arranging the meeting right away, choosing this day as the day of the meeting.
Y/N turned away from the mirror in the bathroom and walked out of the bathroom after wiping his hand son the towel, beginning to look for Shigaraki and Kurogiri. There was one more thing he wanted to be sure about when it came to yakuza after the meeting between their organizations was arranged. He asked him to do little search on Overhaul as he wanted to learn more about the leader of the yakuza such as what he could do with his Quirk before the meeting, wanting to know what he should expect in case things will go wrong during the meeting.
There was one more reason why he wanted to see Kurogiri before the meeting. Today was also the day where Kurogiri will head our to claim All For One's lost power for the League and he wanted to talk with him and wish him good luck before it will happen. He didn't worry about Kurogiri getting caught during this mission as he trusted the misty villain when it came to getting the job done, but he wanted to talk with him nevertheless.
As he made his way further into the warehouse, he managed to stumble upon Mustard, Mr. Compress, Origami, Magne and Toga who were slowly getting themselves ready for the upcoming meeting. Spinner and Dabi won't be present during the meeting as both of them were busy with their own stuff right now and Twice will be joining them later as his part in this is to bring Overhaul to the warehouse. He asked them how they were doing before the meeting and what they thought about it. After receiving an answer from each one of them, he went back to what he was doing and started to make his way Shigaraki and Kurogiri.
Origami stared at Y/N as he walked away from her and the rest, feeling a blush forming on her face as she did so. Magne and Toga saw this and smiled at her teasingly, the latter elbowing her friend in a playful manner. Origami turned away from her fellow villains, feeling herself becoming embarassed as Magne and Toga just continued to grin at her. Mr. Compress shook his head in an amused manner at the scene as Mustard just shrugged his shoulders, paying more attention to the upcoming meeting between them and yakuza.
Y/N reached his destination a few moments later, having made his way to one part of the warehouse and saw Shigaraki and Kurogiri talking with each other. He called out for them to gain their attention right after, "Tomura-kun. Kurogiri."
Shigaraki shifted his gaze to him, multiple hands attached to his body right now, "Hey."
"Welcome, Y/N." Kurogiri greeted Y/N, "How's your mood before the meeting?"
"I'm a bit nervous, but I should be fine. I just hope everything will work out." Y/N gave him an honest answer as Kurogiri nodded in understanding, "Did you found any information on Overhaul's Quirk?"
"Yes." Kurogiri nodded in confirmation as picked up a note from the table next to him and handed it to Y/N, "Good thing you asked me to do a research on his Quirk. His Quirk is quite dangerous to say the least."
Y/N read the note right after Kurogiri handed it to him, wanting to know about Overhaul's Quirk more after hearing what Kurogiri just said to him, "His Quirk grants him the ability to disassemble anything he touches, as well as reassemble it in any configuration he desires, effectively giving him full control over matter. He can disassemble people to kill them or reassemble them to heal their wounds."
His eyes widened as soon as he finished reading the note, gladdened he asked Kurogiri to learn what Overhaul's Quirk was otherwise he and his fellow villains from the League wouldn't know how dangerous his Quirk was and wouldn't watch out around him as much they'd need to if the meeting between them ended badly and would end with the both sides breaking into a fight.
The h/c haired boy shifted his gaze from the note to Shigaraki, "Have you read it?"
"Yes." Shigaraki nodded in confirmation, "Kurogiri just showed it to me."
"We need to tell the others about it." Y/N told him.
"I know." Shigaraki gave him another nod, "This is what I was planning to do. The others needed to know how much damage this guy can do with his Quirk. There is a possibility of his meeting going south and things might go badly if they won't know about his Quirk when it will happen."
Y/N nodded back at him, gladdened to hear they had the same mind about it and looked at Kurogiri with a grateful look on his face, "Thank you for doing this research, Kurogiri."
"You're welcome, Y/N. It was no problem." Kurogiri responded.
"Let's go." Shigaraki told Y/N, "Twice and Overhaul should be here soon. We should go tell the others about what we learned about him before the two of them will arrive here."
"Yeah." Y/N agreed with him.
"I believe this will be when we will part ways, then." Kurogiri said, making Y/N and Shigaraki look at him, "I will be heading out on mission right now."
Y/N nodded at him, "Watch out for yourself on this mission."
"Don't worry, Y/N." Kurogiri reassured Y/N there was nothing to worry about, "I'll make sure I won't get caught. I'll be as back as possible with All For One's lost power if everything will go right."
"Okay." Y/N gave him another nod, "Just wanted to make sure."
"Just make sure it won't a waste of time." Shigaraki told him, "I'm looking forward to see who you will bring to the League after you'll be done with this quest."
Kurogiri shifted his attention to Shigaraki, "Don't worry, Shigaraki Tomura. This power will be a huge asset to the League and will really help us in accomplishing our goals. It is something the heroes in the country, even from the top of the list, won't stand a chance against."
Shigaraki nodded at him, "If you say so."
"I can assure you this won't a waste of time." Kurogiri reassured Shigaraki, "I would tell both of you you to watch out for yourself before leaving, but I don't think there's a need for it."
Shigaraki raised his brow behind his face-hand, "Why?"
"Because I observed you for the past few months." Kurogiri replied, "I can see you two have grown from the people you used to be back when Y/N was brought into the League for the first time. I know both of you can handle yourself against a threat, no matter what it will be and whenever it will arise for our organization and are ready to work together when it comes to accomplishing our goals."
"Thank you, Kurogiri." Y/N smiled at Kurogiri gratefully, really appreciating his words as Shigaraki stared silently at Kurogiri, "It means a lot."
"You're welcome, Y/N." Kurogiri nodded at him, "I shall take my leave now. I'll see you two soon."
Y/N and Shigaraki nodded at Kurogiri as Kurogiri expanded his mist and formed a mist around him. He vanished from their view a few seconds later, teleporting himself out of the warehouse towards the place. Shigaraki and Y/N watched him leave the warehosue and exchanged glances with each other, knowing they shouldn't worry about Kurogiri too much as they knew he could get this job done without getting caught. They started making their way towards the rest of the League right after, intending to inform them about Overhaul's Quirk.
If only they knew this would be the last time they will see Kurogiri for a very long time...
-----
Kai Chisaki got himself out of the car he had parked right next to an old abandoned warehouse and frowned in disgust underneath his plague doctor mask the moment he laid his eyes on the old building in front of him because of how filthy and dusty it looked just from the outside. If it looked so filthy from the inside, the he could immediately imagine how dirty the building was inside and this thought was making him even more disgusted.
He shifted his gaze away from the warehouse in front of him a few seconds later as he heard someone close the car door next to him. He shifted his attention to the source of the noise and set his eyes on Twice who had just him outside, wearing his full villain costume. The villain from the League of Villains was was the one who led him to this place after their organization agreed to arrange this meeting.
Twice saw him looking his way and offered him a quick thumbs up, letting him know it was the place without saying anything to him. The yakuza leader nodded back at him, letting him know he understood, even though he had already figured it out himself. Not wasting any time, Twice started to make his way towards the front entrance to the warehouse and was followed by Overhaul.
The yakuza leader coughed, his disgusted eyes not leaving the building in front of him and Twice, "Give me a break. This place is so dusty. I feel like I'll get sick."
Twice looked over his shoulder at him, "Don't worry, Mr. Overhaul. Everyone inside's already been ill for a while now!"
He turned away from Overhaul right after and slid the metal door open, making a large cloud of dust fly right at him and Overhaul. Overhaul's disgusted frown grew wider as he followed Twice into the building, his eyes immediate catching the sight of the villains he knew must have been Twice's associates. Twice stopped in his tracks a few seconds later, shifting his eyes between his fellow villains from the League and Overhaul as he presented the person he had just brought to them.
He stopped behind Twice, allowing himself to take a look at the members of the League in front of him and where they were located so he could already think of what to do in case this meeting will go south and he will be forced to fight them. The members of the League were standing close to each other, making sure to stay close to each other during this meeting.
Shigaraki was leaning against the wall, keeping his hands in his pockets as he narrowed his eyes at Overhaul underneath his face-hand. Magne was sitting on top of a desk on Shigaraki's right, resting her large magnet on her shoulder as Mustard was standing between her and Shigaraki, hiding the suspicious look he had directed towards Overhaul underneath his gas-mask.
Mr. Compress was sitting cross-legged on top of a tall crate behind Shigaraki, keeping his gloved hands on his knees as Toga was sitting on the floor underneath him with a bored expression on her face, keeping her knees closed to her face. Y/N was leaning against the wall next to Mr. Compress and Toga, the eyelids of his mask showing two question marks as Origami was standing next to him, keeping her right hand on her sheathed katana.
"You brought a crazy big fish, huh, Twice?" Shigaraki asked, keeping his eyes narrowed at Overhaul.
"Big fish? That's ironic." Overhaul replied.
Magne shifted her gaze from Overhaul to Shigaraki, "What? Is this guy someone famous? You and Mask told us what we needed to know about him, but didn't tell us where he actually came from."
"He's from yakuza." Y/N explained, having made sure to let the other members of the League know how dangerous Overhaul's Quirk was before the meeting to make sure they will watch out around him in case things will go south during the meeting, "A head of the Shie Hassaikai."
"The young head of the Shie Hassaikai. So he's the number two of organized crime?" Magne beamed excitedly at the news, "Oh my, I've never seen anything like him! He smells dangerous!"
Toga looked up at Mr. Compress with a bored expression on her face, "Organized crime'? How's he different from us?"
"I would like to know the difference as well." Origami added, keeping her right hand on her sheathed katana as she looked at Mr. Compress questioningly, "If that's okay of course."
"All right, let me tell you." Mr. Compress started his explanation as he looked down at Toga, "In the past, there were lots of scary groups that ran the underworld. But, after heroes started thriving, they were unmasked and disbanded, and once All Might appeared on the scene, that era was over. The ones who managed to scramble away without getting their tails yanked back went on to live meager lives, constantly surveilled as villain wannabes."
"To put it simply. They're a relict of the past." Mustard added, offering Origami and Toga a shortened version of the explanation.
Mr. Compress nodded in agreement, "Precisely, Mustard."
"Protected species and a relict of the past, huh?" Overhaul narrowed his eyes at Mr. Compress and Mustard and the ways the two of them referred to his organization. He closed his eyes and lowered his head, "Well, they're not wrong."
"So, why is this impoverished yakuza boy here?" Magne looked at Overhaul questioningly, "Are you also on a high because of All Might's retirement?"
"No, it's less about All Might and more about the loss of All for One." Overhaul replied, making Shigaraki glare at him underneath his face-hand and making Y/N clench his right hand, the question marks vanishing from the eyelids of his mask, "The emperor of darkness who ruled over all of the underside of society. My generation treated him like an urban legend, but our elders believed they had a reason to fear him. That's when he revealed himself and got thrown into Tartarus." His tone became more sharp and cold when he uttered the next words, "In other words, right now, for both those in the sun and those in the shadows, there is no leader. So then, who will be the next leader?"
Shigaraki stepped away from the wall he was leaning against for the past few moments and stepped closer to Overhaul, the glare underneath his face-hand growing larger, "If you know who my master is, and you're still saying that. Are you here to challenge me? I'm the next leader. Even now, I'm gathering troops. Our numbers will increase soon. And with that power, I'll crush hero society starting with its head."
Overhaul raised his brow at him, "Do you have a plan?"
"A plan? You little..." Shigaraki scowled, stopping himself from insulting Overhaul as Twice shfited his gaze between Shigaraki and Overhaul, taken by suprise by the direction this meeting was taking, because this wasn't how it was supposed to go, "You came here to join us, didn't you?"
A goal with no plan is called a delusion. If you present me with a delusion, then how am I supposed to react?" Overhaul asked, taking a step towards Shigaraki, "What are you going to do after you increase your forces? How do you plan to manage them in the first place? What kind of organizational chart are you trying to create? Starting with Hero Killer: Stain, there was also Muscular and Moonfish. They were all first-class game pieces, but you lost them right away, didn't you? Did you not understand how to use them?"
Mustard shook his head in irritation, "This guy sure talks a lot."
"Yeah." Magne nodded in agreement, narrowing her eyes at Overhaul as she allowed herself to get lost in her thoughts, beginning to consider something.
"How are you going to control your forces after expanding when you can't even control those who stayed with you and you've got brats making a good portion of your forces." Overhaul continued, referring to Y/N, Origami, Mustard and Toga, "You need a plan in order to achieve your goal. And I have a plan. I didn't come here today because I wanted to join you."
"Twice." Shigaraki called out to Twice as he turned to look at him, the tone of his voice making Twice wince, "Don't bring people and tell Mask that it would be okay to arrange a meeting with them when he goes to talk with you about them before checking their intent."
"In order to execute my plan, I need a lot of money." Overhaul once again started to say to Shigaraki, his tone filled with determination and conviction, "There isn't really anyone willing to invest in some obsolete small-time yakuza. But it'd be different if I had you guys, with your increasing name recognition. Put yourselves under me. I'll show you how well I can use you. And then, I'll become the next leader."
"Go home." Shigaraki commanded, his glare not leaving his face.
Magne nodded her head to herself, having made her choice to take action as she knew she had to do something about Overhaul and the way he trying to get the League to work for him. She hopped off the crate and unwrapped her pole. She remembered what Y/N and Shigaraki told her and the rest about his Quirk and how dangerous it was. She just had to make sure Overhaul won't touch her.
"Sorry, yakuza boy, we didn't come together to be under someone." She told Overhaul, beginning to use her Quirk on Overhaul as Overhaul started glowing blue and felt himself getting pulled towards Magne with a magnetic force. She moved towards him, intending to hit him with her magnet to to put him in his place as Overhaul started taking off one of his gloves, "I met up with my friend the other day. She's reserved and shy, but she's someone who is still my friend even knowing my past and she told me "Folks who are bounds by the chains of of the common sense always laugh at those who aren't."."
Magne readied herself to swing her magnet at Overhaul as she was inches away from him at this point, making sure not to get too close to him to make sure he won't be able to reach and touch her, "I'm here because I don't want to be bound by anything! We will decide where we belong!"
She nodded her head to herself when her magnet was about to hit Overhaul in the head as she knew there was nothing she had to worry about because she knew she was in a safe distance from him. Overhaul saw it too and it made him realize they must have known what kind of Quirk he had. It didn't stop him from trying to touch her, though as he reached his hand towards Magne. Luckilly for him, he managed to reach Magne with his thumb and carressed her right arm for a split second just as Magne backed away from him.
All the confidence Magne had in her left her body in an instant as she felt how Overhaul's thumb touched her arm. She felt a wave of panic go through her body as she closed her eyes, having expected herself to explode into pieces. Overhaul's touch didn't kill her, though. Her eyes widened in pain as her right arm exploded into pieces, making her lose her grip on her magnet. She collapased to the floor, clutching where her right arm was supposed to be with her remaining left arm as her magnet landed right next to her.
Everyone from the League looked at the scene with a mixture of shock and horror, not moving from where they stood as they were just forced to watch how Overhaul used his Quirk to amputate Magne's arm. They were already aware of the kind of Quirk he had, thanks to the research Y/N asked Kurogiri to do, but seeing it in action was completely horrifying and shocking to them.
"M-Magne." Toga stuttered out her friends name with pure shock and concern written all over her face, breaking herself out of her shocked state as she broke the silence among the members of the League. The only answer she got from Magne was a painful groan as she continued to clutch where her right hand used to be several seconds ago.
"No..." Origami whispered to herself as her diamond blue eyes refused to close, because of she shock she was feeling right now as she was just forced to watch how Overhaul just badly wounded her friend. The shock she was feeling right was quickly replaced by something else. It was replaced by a feeling of anger and desire of revenge.
"You all made the first move." Overhaul pointed out as he rubbed his sleeve to get rid of the blood from Magne's arm from it, "Argh, that's filthy. That's why I hate stuff like this..."
Origami clenched her left hand, directing an angered glare towards Overhaul and readied herself to unsheath her katana with her right hand. She wasn't the only member of the League who felt like something had to be done about Overhaul before he will wound another member of their organization. Mr. Compress leaped himself forward from the crate he was sitting on, reaching his hand out towards Overhaul.
"Wait, Compress!" Shigaraki shouted to Mr. Compress in worry as soon as he saw him leap out towards Overhaul as Origami wasted no time and pushed herself into charge towards Overhaul, joining Mr. Compress.
"Weaponsmith!" Y/N screamed in a genuine worry for her as Origami charged at Overhaul with her katana in ready, having it in ready since she saw how a wounded Magne hit the floor as what she was feeling right now had completely blinded her rational thinking.
Mr. Compress held his hand out towards Overhaul, ready to use his Quirk on him at any moment, "This guy's trouble! I'll use my Compress to seal him away!"
"Do your thing Compress!" Origami shouted, readying herself to swing her katana at Overhaul to give Mr. Compress enough time to use his Quirk on him, "I'll keep him occupied for long enough!"
"Don't touch me!" Overhaul growled with a threatening look in his eyes as Origami and Mr. Compress continued to make their way towards him.
Origami paid no attention to Overhaul's threat and swung her katana at him, intending to give Mr. Compress as much time as he needed to use his Quirk on him and seal him away. Just as her katana was about to connect with Overhaul's body, her eyes widened in shock as her blade changed back into a stick she used to create it back when she was introduced to Giran. She quickly shifted her attention to something else, because it when explosions of pain went through her body. Her right hand exploded into pieces, leaving nothing but blood out of it.
The dark green haired girl collapsed on the floor, clutching the part of her body where she had arm just a few seconds ago with her remaining left hand with a pained expression on her face. The girl with a dark green hair felt tears forming in her eyes, feeling how she was seconds away from bursting out crying, because of the massive pain she was feeling right now. Things weren't any better with Mr. Compress. He touched Overhaul's arm, having expected to see him turn into a marble but nothing happened. His Quirk didn't work on him.
"I can't use my Quirk?!" He exclaimed internally in a mixture of suprise and confusion.
He was taken out of his thoughts regarding the matter of his Quirk not working on Overhaul just a second later as it was when he shared Magne and Origami's fate. His arm exploded into pieces, leaving nothing but bloody remains out of it. He landed on the floor next to Magne on the opposite side of where Origami landed, now without one arm, screaming in pain as he did so.
Y/N watched from everything where he stood with the rest of the League in a stunned silence as his mask was hiding the shocked expression he had on his face right nowk, the eyelids of it showing just in how big of a shock he was in right now. It wasn't long before a completely different feeling replaced this feeling of shock as he broke himself out of his shocked state after being in it for the last couple of moments.
It wasn't long before a wave of anger went trough Y/N's body as he clenched his hand, red energy beginning to circle around it. The eyelids of his mask displayed just how angry he was at Overhaul for hurting his associates. His anger only grew larger as he set his eyes on Origami and saw how she was clutching her wound in pain, letting out painful whimpers as she did so.
The masked villain shifted his gaze away from Origami and set his eyes back on Overahul. He stepped forward towards him right after, red energy now surrounding both of his hands as he got ready to fight Overhaul and make him pay for everything he did to his associates. The anger he was feeling right now was nothing compared to the anger he felt towards Bakugo back in Camino Ward.
He stopped dead in his tracks just a second later as Shigaraki held his hand in front of him. Y/N looked at him, the eyelids of his mask showing two questions marks as Shigaraki looked over his shoulder and nodded at him in a "I'll take care of it." manner. Y/N nodded back at him, understanding him instantly and stopped himself from attacking Overhaul, trusting Shigaraki will take care of it.
Shigaraki wasted no time and pushed himself into run towards Overhaul, reaching his hand out towards him as he readied himself to use his Quirk on him. He quickly got himself behind Origami, intending to attack Overhaul from the side. Overhaul's eyes widened in alarm as he noticed how a red bullet fired at Shigaraki from above missed him by inches, knowing he had to use his Plan B as Shigaraki was still a threat to him.
"Shield!" He shouted, jumping away from Shigaraki as someone got in front of him in an instant.
Shigaraki touched this person instead of Overhaul, turning them to dust as he didn't gave enough time to react to this person getting themselves between him and Overhaul. The blue haired young man jumped away from Overhaul, humming to himself as he realized what was happening right now, "I see..."
It was when the wall to the warehouse bursted open, creating a large dust cloud across the building just as Shigaraki was about to finish what he was saying. The dust cloud died down a few seconds later, allowing the League to take a look at whoever was responsible for destroying it. A gigantic man rushed into the building in Overhaul's aid with a few other members of yakuza accompaying him for the same reason.
"If you'd started with that, it would've been a lot easier to understand what you wanted." Shigaraki allowed himself to finish what he was saying after Overhaul's goons made themselves known to him and his fellow members of the League.
"That was a close call, Overhaul." A male voice said from above before a white clothed man with a plague doctor mask covering his face jumped down and landed right next to Overahul.
Overhaul titled his head to look at him, "You're late."
"I missed one shot." The white clothed man replied, "But it seems it was immediately effective. It even turned the katana of the green haired girl back into a stick she must have used to create it."
"Where did they come from?" Twice exclaimed in suprise.
He pushed himself out his suprised state a second later, knowing there was no time to think about it because of the state Magne, Mr. Compress and Origami were in right now. He quickly rushed over to Magne and picked her up from the floor, making her lean against him as Y/N and Mustard followed his example and moved towards Origami and Mr. Compress, knowing the two of them needed attention as soon as possible. Toga remained where she stood, glaring at Overhaul with murderous intention in her eyes.
"Origami." Y/N whispered to Origami in worry, having just picked her up from the floor as Origami stayed silent and put her head against his shoulder, proceeding to cry in pain. Mustard picked up Mr. Compress from the floor, having some difficulty as he did so as he was a teenager trying to pick up an adult man.
"Where did they come from?" Mustard asked. He shifted his gaze to Twice, his gas mask hiding the questioning look he had on his face right now, "You weren't followed. Weren't you, Twice?"
Twice immediately shook his head, "No. We weren't!"
"Must be one of their Quirks." Shigaraki stated.
"I wished to finish this without incident, the League of Villains. With the situation as is, any calm decision making has broken down. Whittling away at each other forces is also unproductive. We have one dead and you have three people with one arm less. It's a good time to stop. Let's cool our heads and talk again another day. We'll own you an arm." Overhaul told the League of Villains, wiping the blood off his sleeve as he turned away from them and started to make his way towards the large exit out of the warehouse.
"You bastard." Y/N thought to himself as continued to hold a crying Origami close to him. He glared at Overhaul underneath his mask, the eyelids of his mask showing two skulls, "You won't get away with this."
"Bastard, I'll kill you!" Twice vowed with mixture of anger and guilt in his voice as he continued to hold a wounded Magne close to him.
"Tomura-kun. Y/N. I can cut him. I'm going to, okay?" Toga said, her voice void of any emotion as she pulled out a knife.
"No." Shigaraki replied.
"Let me take responsibility!" Twice screamed, his voice filled with guilt and void of any anger as he shifted his gaze to Shigaraki.
Shigaraki shook his head, his answer remaining the same, "No."
"A wise decision, Hand Guy." One of Overhaul's goons, a very tiny man on top of the gigantic man, teased Shigaraki as he pointed at him.
"It doesn't have to be right away, but the sooner the better. Think carefully about your own organization and stuff. Give me a call once you've calmed down a bit." Overhaul told Shigaraki, throwing his card to the floor as he walked out of the warehouse, followed by his goons.
"Wait, you bastard!" Twice shouted after Overahaul and his goons. All of them ignored him, though and continued to make their way away from him and his fellow villains from the League. He looked up at Shigaraki a second later, "Why did you stop me, Shigaraki?"
"We can't go after them right now." Mustard replied to Twice's question before Shigaraki could give him his answer, holding Mr. Compress. From the tone of his voice, everyone could say how much shaken he was by what just happened, "Going after them with three wounded people would be just stupid of us to do."
"Mustard's right." Y/N nodded in agreement, "I'm angry as much as you are Twice, but we need to give Weaponsmith, Magne and Mr. Compress to the doctor."
Twice's eyes widened in realization, knowing Y/N and Mustard were right. He shifted his attention back to Magne right away, "How are you Magne?"
"I'm sorry." Magne looked up at him with an apologetic look on her face, "I did my best to keep myself away from his hands. He still somehow managed to touch me."
"Don't apologize. It's not your fault." Twice told her, knowing Magne shouldn't blame herself for all of this happening. If there was one persom to blame in this situation, it was him. He was the one who took Overhaul to his fellow villains from the League in the first place.
"My Quirk. It didn't work on him after I touched him." Mr. Compress revealed to the League about his Quirk not working after he managed to touch Overhaul, "The same thing happened to Weaponsmith. Her katana. It changed back into a stick just as she was about to reach Overhaul."
Magne shook her head, "What's up with this guy?"
"I don't know." Y/N replied, wondering about the same thing. He knew he couldn't think about it right now as he had to focus on making sure Magne, Mr. Compress and Origami received the medical attention they needed right now. He shifted his gaze to Toga, "Toga-chan. Call Giran and tell him to get us a doctor as soon as possible. The rest of us will make sure Origami, Magne and Mr. Compress won't lose anymore blood before a doctor will arrive."
"On it." Toga nodded, taking her attention off her desire of making Overhaul pay for what he did and ran off to call Giran.
Shigaraki stepped forward to get the card Overhaul had left him, thinking to himself, "Shie Hassaikai. I'll demand a lot in repayment for this..."
----
The atmosphere in the warehouse the League was using as a hideout in was grim following the meeting with Overhaul and what happened to Magne, Origami and Mr. Compress during the said meeting. Everyone were shaken by what happened during the meeting with Overhaul and were no nervous to show it in their own ways. Even Shigaraki was shaken by this, despite trying to hide it from his fellow villains from the League.
The League wasted no time when it came to treating Magne, Origami and Mr. Compress' injures as they made sure to take care of them as soon as Overhaul left their hideout. They patched Magne, Origami and Mr. Compress up to the best of their abilities to make sure the three of them won't bleed out to death and had Toga call Giran in order to tell him about what happened and tell him to call a person they knew would do a better job at patching up their wounded associates than they would.
This person was Ayaka Okumura. The League trusted she will do a good job at patching up their wounded associates as she had already helped them with their injures on numerous occasions with her patching up Shigaraki's wounds after the USJ attack being the most notable occassion. Luckily for them, it turned out that Ayaka wasn't busy today and would be able to come to their hideout to give Origami, Magne and Mr. Compress the medical attention they needed.
Toga didn't try to hide how vengeful she was towards Overhaul as she asked Shigaraki and Y/N many times if they were giving her their permission to go after Overhaul and make him pay for what he did to Magne, Mr. Compress and Origami. Shigaraki and Y/N declined her offer whenever she would make it to them, despite knowing Overhaul had to pay for what he did themselves. Now it wasn't the time to do anything about him, especially with the injures Magne, Origami and Mr. Compress had substained during the meeting.
Mustard, just like Shigaraki, tried to hide the fact he was shaken by what happened to Origami, Magne and Mr. Compress during their meeting with Overhaul from his fellow vilalins, but failed horribly at doing so to the point when he realized there was no reason in hiding it from his associates. The gas villain knew they couldn't let Overhaul get away with this, but knew they couldn't do anything about him right now because it would be foolish, considering the condition Origami, Magne and Mr. Compress were in right now.
Twice didn't talk with anyone from the League after the meeting, because of the guilt he felt for bringing Overhaul to the League in the first place. Y/N thought about talking with him and try to reassure him it wasn't his fault as he didn't blame Twice for what happened. He just wanted to help the League and have the organization become stronger by bringing in new potential recruits. No one could have foreseen what would happen during the meeting.
Y/N was on his way to the room in the warehouse Origami was put in several minutes ago. He and Shigaraki had received a phone call from Ayaka a few moments ago and were informed by her she will arrive at the warehouse in several minutes from now unless she will get caught in the traffic and told by her they should prepare her patients to have their wounds patched up by her. Origami would be the first one to have her wounds treated by Ayaka as Mr. Compress and Magne gladly allowed her to be the first one to be patched out of all three of them, because of her being several years younger than them.
The h/c haired boy clenched is hand as he allowed himself to get lost in his thoughts regarding Overhaul as he continued to make his way to the room where Origami was right now. He wasn't sure if he could the right words to describe the anger he felt when he saw what Overhaul did to his fellow villains from the League. It was nothing like the anger he felt towards Bakugo back in Camino Ward or towards his parents back when he overheard their complains about his case getting too much media coverage. If it wasn't for Shigaraki stopping him just as he was about to step towards Overhaul, he was certain he would charge towards the yakuza leader and who knows what would happen to him if he did.
He tightened his grip as he did his best to recall the last time when he felt such anger towards someone in his life. If he even felt such anger towards someone in his life before. At the same time he couldn't help but sigh internally. Even if the research he asked Kurogiri to do regarding Overhaul and telling his fellow villains to watch out around him in case things will go south during the meeting after learning how dangerous his Quirk was, it still stop his associates from getting hurt. Magne herself even admitted she was doing everything in her power to make sure he won't touch her after she charged at Overhaul.
Y/N reached his destination a few seconds later. He walked through the open door and stopped in the doorway, setting his e/c eyes on Origami. Origami was sitting on the bed, leaning against the back of the bed frame. She didn't notice Y/N walk into room right after as she was staring ahead of herself with a blank look on her face as if she was in some sort of trance. She must have been deep in her thoughts right now. There was one more thing Y/N noticed about the dark green haired girl. She had fresh tear marks on her cheeks, almost if as she had recently stopped crying.
The h/c haired boy looked at her in worry the moment he laid his eyes on her and saw the state she was in right now. Out of everyone who lost a limb during their meeting with Overhaul, the dark green haired girl seemed to be affected by what just happened the most as she barely uttered a word after the meeting was over. She didn't utter a word even when everyone else from the League tried asking her how was she doing in their own ways.
A loud deep breath escaped his lungs as the image of Origami losing her arm flew through his mind. Such a large worry he felt for her when he saw her rush towards Overhaul alongside Mr. Compress was something he had never felt in his life. The thought of her getting hurt by Overhaul in the same way Magne was hurt by him was making him feel hurt and angry inside. Hurt because of it happening to her and angry at Overhaul for doing this to her.
He shook his head as his thoughts regarding Origami became the center of his thoughts right now. Why did he worry about her as much as he did?. He knew it was perfectly normal for people to worry about people they consider their friends, just like he considers Origami a close friend of his. He worried for Magne and Mr. Compress as well, but knew there was something else when it came to his worry for Origami. He quickly pushed those thoughts aside, knowing he shouldn't focus on his thoughts about it right now.
"Hey." He called out for Origami in a gentle tone in order to make his presence in the room known to her a second later, breaking himself out of his thoughts as Origami turned to look at him as soon as she heard his voice call out for her.
"Y/N." She whispered his name, using her good hand to wipe the tear marks off her cheeks to hide the fact she had cried after she was brought into this room, unaware he had already noticed them.
"I came here to tell you Okumura-san just called me and Tomura-kun. She should be here in several minutes." Y/N informed her about the conversation he and Shigaraki just had with Ayaka.
Origami nodded in understanding, "Okay."
"Can I come in?" Y/N asked with a worried look on his face, "You don't have to say yes if you feel otherwise. I'll understand if you want to left alone for now."
"No. Go ahead. Come in. I won't mind." Origami reassured him.
Y/N nodded at her and stepped further into the room. It was when he was left with a small choice as he had to choose where he should sit right now. There were two chairs next to the bed Origami was sitting on right now. One chair was on her right and one chair was on her left. He ultimately made his way to the chair on her left, having his choice to sit here as he felt Origami would be more comfortable if he will sit on the side where she still has her arm.
He reached the chair a few seconds later and sat down on it. He looked at Origami with a worried look on his face as soon took his seat as Origami looked away from him after seeing the way he looked at her, "So. How have you been doing? We haven't gotten a chance to talk with each other since the meeting with Overhaul ended."
"I'm doing well, despite what happened. I just needed a moment to process everything." Origami lied, trying tor reassure Y/N there was nothing wrong with her as she did her best to make her answer sound as genuine as she could. Her efforts to make herself look and sound believable didn't pay off, though as Y/N didn't bought her h/c haired boy quickly noticed she was lying.
"Origami. You haven't spoken much since the meeting and stayed silent whenever asked you how are you doing. Everyone has been worried about you since the meeting with Overhaul ended." He told her in an attempt to get her to share how she was really feeling about this sitaution, "I can tell there's something bothering you. You don't need to lie about how you are feeling right know. You know you can tell me anything and I won't judge you for it, right? "
Origami looked at Y/N and stared at him silently for a few seconds, looking as if she was in thought. She took a deep breath and revealed the thing which was bothering her since the meeting, "...I'm sorry."
"I'm sorry?" Y/N raised his brow at her, her sudden apology taking him by suprise "Origami? What are you sorry for? You have nothing to apologize for. The only person who is to blame here is Overhaul."
"It doesn't change the fact I ignored the warning you gave me and the rest about Overhaul's Quirk before the meeting and charged him without a second thought." Origami pointed out, her voice starting to break as she sounded and looked like she was about to cry again, "After what happened to Magne, I just stopped thinking rationally and used the first opportunity I saw to charge at Overhaul. I have no one to blame for losing my arm than myself as I literally asked for this to happen to me after I charged at Overhaul like an idiot!"
"Origami. You can't dwell on it so much. Many people would have acted the way if they were in your shoes in that situation. No one likes to see someone they care about hurt and do stuff without thinking when it happens." Y/N said, attempting to make her feel better, "I almost charged at Overhaul myself after I saw what he did to you, Magne and Mr. Compress. If it wasn't for Tomura-kun I'm certain I wo..."
"At least you managed to contain yourself and didn't charge at him like an idiot, unlike me! It was something I couldn't do and now look at me!" Origami cut him off in a pained voice, not giving him a chance to finish what she was saying. She motioned to her missing arm, now openly sobbing, "I'm missing an entire arm! I lost my sword and pistol hand!" She moved away from the wall she was leaning against since she was brought to this room and moved closer to Y/N , showing him just how badly she was taking everything that happened during their meeting with Overhaul, "How am I going to fight now with just my left arm as I have no idea how to use either of those things properly with it! How am I going to be any use to the League right? I'm completely useless right now because of it!"
Y/N watched how Origami broke down in front of him in silence, knowing he had to do something. Doing the first thing he came up with, he grabbed her by the back of her head as Origami was immediately silenced by his sudden action. The dark green haired girl felt a blush forming on her face as Y/N put her head against his shoulder and started rubbing her back in a comforting manner.
"Origami. Don't think of yourself as useless, just because of what happened with Overhaul." Y/N said, continuing his attempts at making her feel better. He knew how it felt like to feel useless and knowing how terrible of a feeling it was. He wanted to comfort Origami about it, just like she comforted him whenever he felt in a similiar way. Just like she did everything in her power to comfort him following the capture of All For One. He continued to comfort her, feeling how his vest slowly became soaked in her tears, "You won't become useless to the League, just because you lost your arm. Me and Tomura-kun have already came up with a way to make sure you, Magne and Mr. Compress will be back in shape as soon as possible."
"What are you talking about?" Origami asked, her voice a bit muffled because of her keeping her head against Y/N shoulder.
"Me and Tomura-kun asked Giran to deliver us the best prosthetic arms he could find for all three of you. He told us he knows the right model for all three of you right after we asked him. According to him, you won't even notice it's not your real arm." Y/N explained, "Even if he wouldn't be able to deliver any prosthetic arms for you, Magne and Mr. Compress, it wouldn't mean you'd become useless."
"What do you mean?" Origami asked in confusion, her voice becoming less broken as she was slowly stopping to cry, "Magne and Mr. Compress would still be able to help you in combat, even if their arms missing because of their Quirks being the way they are. I wouldn't be able to do anything with my Quirk in combat as all I can do is create weapons."
"It still doesn't change the fact you'd be able to make herself useful for the League, even if you didn't have the prosthetic arm you will receive from Giran soon." Y/N pointed out, "You would still be able to create weapons for the League, just like you did when Spinner asked you to create swords for his weapon before we attacked the summer camp. You could learn how to use your weapons properly with your left hand as well. I know it would take you some time to learn it and reach the level you were on right now with your right hand, but I'm certain you'd be able to accomplish it sooner or later."
Origami let out one last snifle and moved her head away from Origami's shoulder. She wiped her eyes with her remaining hand, no longer crying because of Y/N's comforting words as she allowed the h/c haired boy to take a look at her face right now. Her cheeks were stained with fresh tear marks and one or two tears were still on her cheeks. After wiping her tears, she made sure to do the same with her cheeks as she wanted to get rid of all the signs she had just cried from her face.
She moved her remaining hand away from her face a few seconds later, showing the h/c haired boy the grateful look she had on her face right now. A smile started to grow on her face as she spoke up to him, "Thank you for those words, Y/N. I feel like this was something I needed to hear after what happened during our meeting with Overhaul. To be honest I kind of feel bad for acting the way I did."
Y/N raised his brow at her, "Why do you feel bad about it?"
"Because I feel like it was selfish of me to act the way I did." Origami explained, guilt slowly beginning to show in her expression, "All of you were worried about me and wanted to know how I was feeling after losing my arm and I was just making all of you more worried by staying silent. I should have just tell you what I was thinking right after instead of staying silent and making everyone more worried in the process."
"You don't need to feel guilty about it, Origami. Everything you've been doing since you joined the League was anything but selfish." Y/N tried to reassure her there was nothing he should feel guilty, "I'm sure the others won't be angry at you when you'll see them again after Okumura-san will be done patching you up. I'm sure they'll be relieved you broke yourself out of your silent state."
"Alright. If you say so." Origami replied, still feeling a bit guilty about it, but did her best to not show it to him. She once again smiled at him in a grateful manner, "Once again, thank you for telling me what you told me earlier."
"It was no problem." Y/N smiled at her, "You did your best to comfort me following the capture of my Sensei, even after I kept reassuring you there was nothing wrong with me. What kind of a friend would I be if I didn't comfort you when you needed it?"
Origami smiled back Y/N, not saying anything to him as she stared directly right into his h/c eyes with her diamond blue ones. As she and Y/N continued to silently stare at each other like they were seeing each other again after a long time, she felt a blush forming on her face as the memory of the conversation she had yesterday with Toga and Magne flew through her mind. She knew she had a crush on Y/N, having realized it thanks to her two friends. Perharps right now was the time to tell him about her feelings. She closed her eyes and exhaled softly, bracing herself for whatever was going to him in the next few moments.
"Y/N." She called out for him, blushing beginning to form on her face. She started to grow nervous as she stuttered out her question to him, "C-Can I tell you something?"
"Of course you can." Y/N nodded and looked at her questioningly, "What is it?"
Origami opened her mouth, trying to find the right words for what she was about to say to him. No words left her mouth, though as she started to regret she had asked him if she could tell him something. She ultimately backed away from her split second decision of telling him how she felt about him. Now it wasn't for time for this. Even if it was time for this, she was unsure if she would find enough courage within herself to tell him about her feelings.
"Nothing." She told him, looking away from him to hide the blush she had on her face right now, "Forget it. It's nothing important."
Y/N raised his brow at her, slightly confused by her action, "Okay?"
"Am I interrupting something?" A female voice sounded from from entrance to the room. Y/N and Origami shifted their attention away from each other and looked over to the source of the voice and saw Ayaka standing in the doorway to the room. The dark haired doctor in her late 20's who was dressed in the punk clothes was looking at them with a playful and teasing look on her face. She was holding a bag of what Y/N and Origami assumed to be her medical equipment, "If you want a moment for yourself, can you postpone it for later? I want to patch her wound up as soon as possible as I don't think it can wait because I have two other clients to take care of after her."
"Don't worry. We just finished talking." Y/N told her as soon as she shifted his attention to her, "When did you arrive here?"
"Just a moment ago." Ayaka replied as she leaned against the doorway, "I was greeted by your boss and was told to come here because this is where I will find my first patient by him. I couldn't spot the misty guy anywhere near him, though. I have to say. It was kind of suprising to see him not with you as he always stayed close to both of you."
"Kurogiri's not here right now. He went on a lone mission." Y/N explained to Ayaka why Kurogiri wasn't in the warehouse with the rest of the League right now.
Ayaka nodded in understanding, "I see."
"Mission?" Origami raised her brow at him, having heard about this for the first time, "What mission?"
"I and Tomura-kun will explain everything later to you. We wanted to fill you in about it after our meeting with Overhaul, but had to postpone it for later because of what happened." Y/N replied, earning a nod of understanding from Origami and got up from his seat, "I should go. I'll try to talk with you again after Okumura-san will be done patching you up."
"Actually can you stay here?" Origami asked right after Y/N got up from his seat, "I think I'll feel better if you'll be here for this entire process."
"I don't know about this." Y/N rubbed the back of his head with an uncertain look on his face. He shifted his gaze to Ayaka, his expression becoming more questioning, "Are you okay with this?"
"It's cool. I'm fine with it." Ayaka nodded at him, letting him know he could stay if he wanted to as she stepped into the room, "Just stay on the side of her I won't be patching up as I want to be sure I won't get interrupted when I'll be patching her up."
Y/N nodded, showing her his understanding of her words and sat back down on the seat. He glanced at Origami right after sitting down on it, "If she's fine with it, then I'll stay here if you want to."
"Thank you. C-Can you hold my hand?" She stuttered out her question with a blush forming on her face as moved her good hand closer to Y/N.
Y/N blushed at her question and didn't answer to it right away as he was taken by suprise by it as she wasn't expecting Origami to ask him this. Origami slowly started to grow nervous because of his silence as Ayaka shook her head as she watched the interaction between them with an amused look on her face. Y/N provided her the answer she was waiting for after a few seconds of silence.
"Of course." He told her as she reached his hand out towards her good hand and grabbed into his in a gentle grip.
Origami looked at him with a grateful look on her face, her blush staying on her face, "Thank you."
"You two are just cutest. I'm almost jealous." Ayaka commented with a teasing look on her face, causing Y/N and Origami's blushes to grow bigger. She chuckled at their reaction, feeling amused by it as she took her seat on Origami's right and set her bag with medical equipment on her knees, "Things are never easy when it comes to you and your organization, huh? It's the third time when Giran told me to pay you a visit to patch you up and your injures are getting worse each time I have to pay a visit. How do three people lose one arm on the same day?"
Y/N raised his brow at her, "Giran haven't told you what happened?"
"He only told me a meeting with your potential ally went horribly wrong and three people from your organization ended up losing one of their arms." Ayaka explained, revealing to Y/N and Origami how much she knew about what happened today. Y/N and Origami nodded in understanding as she asked them out of curiosity, "Who were you meeting with in the first place?"
"Yakuza." Y/N replied.
"Yakuza?" Ayaka's eyes slightly widened, feeling a bit suprised by the information, "That's the name I haven't heard about in a long time."
"Have you worked with them before?" Y/N asked out of curiosity. Origami seemed curious about her answer as well.
"No." Ayaka shook her head, "Organizations like yakuza may be stuff of the past right now, but I don't think they would need help of someone like me if any of them got hurt."
Y/N gave her another nod of understanding, "I see."
"Alright. Let's see how it looks." Ayaka reached into her bag and pulled out the equipment she knew was necessary to give Origami's wound a proper medical treatment. She hummed to herself, nodding her head a few moments later, now knowing how Origami's wound look like "I have to say. Whoever did this must have been an expert in doing this kind of stuff as this doesn't look like a work of an amateur. If it was the work of someone without any experience, then I'm certain you would lose much more blood. I can't say the same about dressing, though. I can say someone who has a little idea about the medical treatment did it."
"This is why we called Giran and told him to call you." Gareh replied, "We may have patched up Origami, Magne and Mr. Compress ourselves right after the meeting to make sure they won't lose much blood, but still wanted an expert to take a look at their wounds as we know how little experience we have when it comes to this kind of thing."
"An expert, you say?" Ayaka smirked at him, her attention not leaving Origami's wound as she knew she had to focus on it, "You can consider me flattered."
"You know what I mean." Y/N blushed slightly at her words, his reaction getting an amused chuckle out of the punk dressed doctor as Origami bit her bottom lip and lowered her gaze, feeling jealousy go through her body after Y/N's reaction, "You already did well on the two jobs we have previosuly given you and we trusted that you will do well on this job as well."
"I see." Ayaka nodded in understanding, "Don't worry. Your friends will feel as good as new by the end of this day. Or at least as good as they can with one of their arms missing. This isn't even the worst wound I had to patch up since I started working for the villains. You'd be suprised what kind of wounds a villain can get during their whatever they are doing. I lost the count of how many times I was awoken in the middle of a night because someone got themselves injured and needed medical treatment as soon as possible."
Y/N looked at her with a curious look on his face, "What is the worst wound you had to treat?"
Ayaka winked at him, "Sorry. I can't tell. Let's call it a professional secret."
"Thank you for doing this." Origami expressed her gratitude to her.
"You don't need to thank me. I'm just doing my job." Ayaka let her know she didn't have to thank her for merely doing her job, "I agreed to do it as soon as you were among the injured members of your organization."
Origami looked at her questioningly, "Why?"
"Because you're still fifteen." Ayaka replied, "You might be a villain, but it still doesn't change the fact you're a minor who just her arm." She frowned sadly at her, "I can't only imagine how it must feel like to lose a limb at such a young age."
"It's hard." Origami revealed how she felt about it to Ayaka, "I felt terrible after I lost my arm. I completely locked myself away from the rest and didn't talk with anyone, even after everyone started voicing their worry to me. Thankfully, Y/N talked with me and managed to get me out of this state. I just want to talk with the others as soon as possible and apologize to them for the way I acted after losing my arm."
"He really did so, huh?" Ayaka chuckled with a playful look on her face as Y/N and Origami, especially the latter, felt their faces reddening because of the tone she used when she said those words.
"I just wanted to make sure she won't feel so terrible about losing her arm..." Y/N tried to explain himself after seeing the playful look she had directed his way, an embarassed blush beginning to form on his face. He didn't got a chance to finish what he was saying as Ayaka cut him off.
"Relax. You don't have to explain yourself to me." The punk dressed doctor told him, amused by his nervous reaction to her teasing, "It's perfectly understable why you wanted to make sure someone you care about is feeling better after something like this happening to her. I know I would do the same thing if someone I care about went through the same thing."
Y/N nodded his head and motioned towards Origami's wound, trying change the subject of the conversation to something else, "How is her wound?"
"She should be fine, despite the circumstances." Ayaka replied, taking her eyes off her work for a second, "Thankfully, she didn't lost too much blood and received medical attention from you and the rest as soon as possible. If the other two are in the same, then I will have much less work than I expected." She let out a sigh, "I only wish I could do something about her missing arm. Losing a limb at such a young age is something I wouldn't wish to most people."
"Don't worry about it. Me and Tomura-kun already took care of it." Y/N said as Ayaka looked at him questioningly, "We told Giran to get us prosthetic arm for Origami, Magne and Mr. Compress and he said he's got this covered."
"Of course he would agree to take care of it." Ayaka stated, "This guy is many things, but you can't deny the fact he is reliable. Especially if he sees potential in something and sees something for himself in it, just like he did with your organization after you started making yourself known to the world."
"How did you meet him?" Y/N asked.
"It was shorty after I started making a name for myself as a doctor for the villains in the criminal underground." Ayaka started her answer, "I got into contact with him through a villain I patched up one night and we started working together. He saw some potential in me, just like he did with your organization and started advertising as someone who can take care of every wound among his associates.I had to work hard to live up to the way he started calling me whenever he advertised me to someone as I knew how badly it would end if I messed something up, but thankfully I managed to live up to it. This is why I ended up patching up your boss after you attacked U.A. He just saw me as a best pick for the job."
"Okumura-san." Origami called out for Ayaka as Y/N nodded in understanding, "Can I ask you something?"
"What is it?" Ayaka asked.
"Why did you ended up working for the criminal undergound when you could have been a successful doctor with those skills?" Origami voiced her question to her.
Ayaka sighed with a saddened frown started to form on her face, showing the two teengaers she was not fond of this subject. She shifted her gaze to Y/N to look at him for second, "You didn't told her anything about me after she joined your organization?"
"No." Y/N shook his head, "I don't know much about you myself."
"Giran didn't told you and Kurogiri anything about me the first time I paid you a visit to patch up your boss after you attacked the USJ?" Ayaka asked.
"He told us something, but didn't go into details." Y/N responded, recalling the conversation he and Kurogiri had with Giran about her back in the bar, "He only said you angered someone above you and your promising medical career was ruined because of it."
"I see. He told a shortened version of what happened." Ayaka nodded in understanding, "I'm not even suprised about it. He says the same thing to everyone who asks him about my past." She looked at him questioningly, "I assume you're interested in learning the whole story?" The way Y/Nand Origami reacted to her question was the only answer they needed to get, "I see. Fine. I can tell you the details Giran didn't tell you about."
"Are you sure you want to tell us this? We barely know each other." Y/N pointed out as he seemed suprised by Ayaka offering to share her story with him and Origami. Origami seemed just as much suprised as he was.
"Yes. Don't worry. I'm fine with it. If we see each other that often, we should get to know more about each other." Ayaka reassured him the two teenagers she was fine with it, "You'd be suprised how many of my clients asked me about this since I started this job, especially from one guy I saved from what was supposed to be a mortal gunshot wound. So? Should I tell you this or not?"
"If you're okay with it." Y/N replied
"Alright. Let's start with the beginning. Shall we?" Ayaka asked, being seconds away from starting her story, "Everything was going pretty well for me in life a few years ago. I was attending one of the most prestigious medical colleges in Japan and was doing pretty well in it when it came to everything school and work related. Everyone, including the professors and my fellow students, were telling me I had a promising career ahead of me. I honestly wasn't expecting this is where I would end up. Everything went down when I was assigned to work with Hayakawa Junshiro."
"Hayakawa Junshiro?" Y/N asked, having never heard this name before as Origami looked at Ayaka with a thoughtful look on her face, feeling like this name was familiar to her.
"He was someone very high in hierarchy of the medical industry. Working with him was supposed to be a dream come true for a medical student like me as it would open my doors to a promising career." Ayaka frowned in a disgusted manner at the thought of Junshiro as Y/N and Origami heard the hatred in her voice when he was mentioned by her. She let out a sigh as she continued her story, "Unfortunely. Working with him turned out to be far from a dream as it killed my medical career before it had started. Around the time I was assigned to him, he was working on some new medicine in Tokyo."
Origami's eyes widened with suprise written all over her face, having realized where she heard Junshiro's name before when Ayaka mentioned Tokyo, "I think I heard about this in the TV shorty after it happened. I think it was something about a new experimental medicine being used on a few patients of a hospital in Tokyo and all of the patients ended up dying a few hours later, because there was something wrong with the medicine." Y/N listened to everything with a suprised look on his face as Ayaka frowned in a saddened manner, confirming Origami was right without saying any words, "It was apparently because a medical student insisted on using it before it was ready as she thought it would be a good start of her medical career."
"That student was you?" Y/N wanted to be sure if he understood everything correctly.
"Yup." Ayaka nodded with a saddened look on her face, letting out a depressed sigh as she did so, "Hayakawa. That asshole was so certain his new was ready to be used on the patients. I tried telling him that the medicine was not ready, but he kept ignoring me since I was below him and was a still a student. After everything went down, he knew it would ruin his life and reputation so he ended up blaming me for it."
"He used you as a scapegoat?" Y/N asked, wanting to be sure if he didn't misheard it.
Ayaka nodded in confirmation, "Yup."
"Everyone ended up believing him?" Origami asked right after Ayaka answered to Y/N's question.
"Of course they did." Ayaka let out a humorless chuckle, her expression becoming more saddened and her disgust towards Junshiro became apparent to Origami and Y/N with each other she uttered, "He was a person high in the medical hierarchy of this country who was respected by people in the industry and I was just a medical student who was recently assigned to work with him from my college. Who do you think people would believe?"
"I see. I'm sorry this happened to you." Y/N offered Ayaka his words of comfort, looking genuinely sorry for her as Origami looked at Ayaka in pity, both of them feeling sorry she had to go through something like this.
"It's okay. I appreciate the comfort, but you don't have to feel sorry about it. It's not like anything we will do now will change what happened." Ayaka replied, appreciating their comfort as she could see it was genuine, "Everything just went downhill from there. I was kicked out of my college and my life was ruined. I had to earn some money for bread and I couldn't find any job as no one, even the fast food places, wanted to hire me with the destroyed reputation I had after I was framed for this failure. I was left with only two choices. Become a sex worker or use my medical skills in some other way. I choose the latter and ended up making myself known as a doctor in the criminal underground. You already know what happened next."
"What about Hayakawa?" Y/N asked, his pitful expression not leaving his face, "How is he doing right now?"
"All I know is that he is still a respected figure in the medical industry and this is all I need to know about him. He can go to Hell for all I care." Ayaka responded as she once again frowned in mixture of anger and disgust at the mention of him, "I would to see him suffer for what he did to those poor patients he used as his test subjects and for what he did to me after his little experiment didn't work. Too bad I will probably never see it happen, but a woman can dream, right?"
Origami looked at Ayaka with an apologetic look on her face, "I'm sorry for making you relive all this stuff. If I didn't ask you why did you started working for the villains with your medical skills, then this topic wouldn't be brought up."
"Hey. Don't worry. It's okay." Ayaka reassured Origami no harm was done after seeing how guilty Origami felt for making this topic to be brought up, "I was the one who agreed to share this story with you, after all. Reliving this story may be painful, but I have already gotten used to it as I already shared it with some of my regular patients. Your associate Magne is among them."
"Right." Origami said, having reminded herself of something, "Giran did mention you and Big Sis Magne know each other when he mentioned her." He looked at Y/N questioningly, wanting to be sure if she remembered correctly, "Right?"
Y/N nodded in confirmation, "Yeah."
"Big Sis Magne?" Ayaka chuckled at the way Origami called Magne, "Looks like someone got to know her well."
Origami blushed slightly at the way Ayaka looked at her, "Me and Magne became good friends after she joined the League. The two of us and Toga-chan hang out a lot whenever we're not doing anything or are not spending time with someone else."
"Are you done with Weaponsmith?" A familiar male voice sounded from the entrance to the room. Y/N, Origami and Ayaka looked over to the source of it and saw Shigaraki standing in the doorway.
"I'm almost done with her. I just need to do some final checks on her." Ayaka replied, "You can go tell Magne and Mr. Compress that they should get ready for their turn, whoever is going next."
"Fine. I'll go tell them in a moment." Shigaraki replied, "If you want to know, Magne will be next."
"Magne will be next?" Ayaka smiled playfully, "What a gentleman this Mr. Compress is."
Shigaraki shifted his gaze to Y/N, "I came here to get you. Come on. We need to talk about something. In private."
"Alright." Y/N nodded at him in understanding, "I hope you didn't have to look for me for long."
"I didn't look for you for long. I went here straight away." Shigaraki replied, "You went here to tell Weaponsmith that Okumura will be here in several minutes and didn't return. I just figured out you didn't leave this room after entering it."
"I see. Makes sense." Y/N once again nodded at him and got up from his seat. He didn't make his way to Shigaraki right after as he was kept close to the bed by the fact he was still holding hands with Origami. Origami and Y/N felt how their eyes widened, having forgotten they were holding hands for all this time because of their conversation with Ayaka. Both of them immediately freed each other from each other grips, blushing in embarassment.
Ayaka smiled at them teasingly, "Just like I said earlier. You two are just cutest. Reminds me of the time I was in junior high and was seeing my first boyfriend."
Y/N blushed heavily at what Ayaka had just suggested, "We're just friends."
"Really?" Ayaka asked, shifting her gaze between as if she was finding this hard to believe as Shigaraki rolled his eyes at this conversation.
"Yes." Y/N quickly confirmed it as Origami wasted no time and nodded in agreement.
Ayaka nodded in understanding, her teasing smile staying on her face, "I see."
Y/N stepped away from Origami and Ayaka and walked over to Shigaraki. He turned to look at Ayaka again after reaching Shigaraki, feeling like there was something he had to tell her, "Thank you for what you're doing."
"It's no problem. I'm just doing my job. I have to earn money for myself, right?" Ayaka smiled at him.
Y/N smiled back at her and turned to look at Shigaraki again, "Let's go."
Shigaraki nodded at him and turned away from Origami and Ayaka, beginning to make his way into further into the warehouse as Y/N followed him, leaving Ayaka and Origami alone the room. Origami watched Y/N vanish from her view and turned to look at Ayaka. She saw the way the woman dressed in the punk clothes looked at her, making her look away from her with an embarassed blush on her face.
Y/N looked around himself shorty after he left the room with Shigaraki as the two of them slowly made their way further into the warehouse. He wanted to make sure there wasn't anyone in the hearing range right now as he knew it must have been something important if Shigaraki wanted to talk with him about it in private. After making sure nobody was going to overhear their conversation, he looked at Shigaraki questioningly.
"What is it you wanted to talk about?" He asked Shigaraki as soon as he looked at him.
Shigaraki pulled out the card Overhaul left them shorty before leaving the warehouse with his associates, "I think it's time we contacted this asshole."

The stuff with Lady Nagant was great in the anime. I was looking forward to seeing it in the anime since the prison break and was not disappointed by it.
The new Attack on Titan came out and I can definitely say it was worth the wait. What a HELL of an episode. That was incredible. An hour of nothing but carnage and despair. I love how the Rumbling was potrayed. The anime perfectly potrayed the horrors of it. They nailed the apocalyptic tone and I loved all the original scenes they added showing the chaos of the apocalypse. The entire section with Eren and Ramzi was so good. It was just so sad to watch because of as you could see and feel Eren's despair on his face and in his voice (The voice acton never fails) They really did my girl Hange justice. As sad as it was to see her go (I literally teared up during the scene as she is my second favourite character in AOT after Levi), seeing her be a badass till the end, the music, the animation, her seeing all her fallen comrades, perfect.
