Origami Jakuzure

Origami Jakuzure opened her eyes when she woke up from her slumber. She let out a yawn as she sat up on her bed and stretched. She rubbed her eyes and looked around herself, allowing herself to take a good look at the room she was in right now, excepting to see her room just like she did whenever she was lucky enough to not get locked out of her house by her mother.

Much to her suprise, she didn't found herself in her room. She instead found herself in some poor looking room. It was when her eyes widened as she realized something. Everything that happened last night wasn't a dream. It all really happened. She did agree to come with a masked villain whoch recently appeared frequently in the media after her mother really locked her out of the house for another night.

She recalled where she was right now shorty after the memories of everything that happened last night flew through her head. The boy from last night took her to some hotel on the other side of the city where all kinds of shady people who had something to do with the criminal underworld were staying for the night. Upon arriving the hotel, the boy had a brief conversation with a man who must have been the owner of this place, but she didn't know what was the subject of their conversation.

She looked around herself for another time after this realization, trying to spot this villain who turned out to be a boy her age anywhere. He was nowhere to be seen. She instead saw a piece of paper laying on the bed next to her. There was something written on it, but she couldn't make out the letters from her bed. It didn't took her long to realize that the boy from last night left it for her.

Wanting to know what was written on the paper, she got up from her bed, touching the floor with her barefeet. She walked over to the bed next to her and picked up the piece of paper from it, reading the message which was written on it.

"I went out for a moment to get us something to eat for breakfast. I'll be back soon."

The dark green haired girl nodded her head to herself as she put the message back on the bed, now knowing where the boy from last night was right now. She shifted her attention from the note to the door on the other side of the room which was leading to the bathroom. She walked over to the door and pushed it open before entering the bathroom, wanting to prepare herself for the day.

She closed the door behind her and locked it, not wanting anyone to enter the bathroom when she'll be inside it. She walked over to the sink with the intention of brushing her teeth, but quickly gave up on it as she realized she didn't have any toothpaste and toothbrush she could use to brush her teeth. Unable to brush her teeth, she walked away from the sink and walked over to the shower.

She turned the shower on for a second to check the state of water. After ensuring the water was in a good condition, she turned the water off and she began preparing herself for her shower. It didn't took her long to prepare herself for her shower. She put her pyjama and her undergarments away from the shower as she didn't want get to weat because those were the only clothes she had right now.

She walked into the shower and once again turned the water on, allowing the warm water slid down her body. She picked up a soap and began to cover her whole body with it a second later. As the warm water proceeded to wash the soap she had just covered herself with off her body, she let out a sigh as she began to think about her home life and about how everything around her fell apart after she accidentally killed her dad.

The happy home which was filled with smiles and laughter was gone. Her mother wasn't the loving and kind woman who loved her child more than anything she used to be anymore. She didn't saw her as her only daughter anymore and instead saw her as a monster who made her life worse and should have never been born. Her mother made sure to remind her about what she had done at every chance she got, calling her all kinds of names a parent shouldn't use when talking with their child.

She went to school like any other child her age, but even there people were making sure she didn't forgot about her dad and what happened to him. By law, all registered Quirks are made public to the required teaching staff. Meaning all of her teachers knew of what she had done when her Quirk manifested and their reactions were just like her mother. They looked at her in disgust and distrust, as if she was a monster.

People have loose lips and it wasn't long before the truth about her, her Quirk and what she had done when her Quirk manifested came out and became a common knowledge among her fellow schoolmates. The morning after everyone found out about what she had done when she was much younger, she found her desk with all kinds of insulting and hurtful names written all over on it.

The friends she made within her class distanced herself from her the moment they learned the truth about her, because who would like to be a friend with a monster who got her father killed? She desperately tried to explain everyone that what happened all those years ago was an accident and pleaded them to give her a chance to show them that she is not a monster as she didn't want to go through another school without any friends but unfortunely her explanations and pleads fell deaf on everyone's lips.

It resulted in her being left completely alone, the only form of interaction with her schoolmates being the times when she was overhearing them whisper all kinds hurtful things about her whenever she was passing them in the school hallway. As the years passed, she thought she would get used to her schoolmates talking about her like this behind her back, but she never did.

This is why she was so suprised when the boy from last night told her that she was not a monster and that she deserved to be treated like a human. The feeling of hearing such a words from someone else was just so unfamiliar to her to the point when she didn't know how to react to hearing such a words. This is why she hugged him to show him how much she appreciated him telling her those words.

There was one thing she couldn't understand about this entire situation, though. She just couldn't understand why he comforted and helped her last night. She wouldn't be so conflicted about it if he was a normal civilian but he wasn't a normal civilian. He was a villain. A villain who was wanted for murder. A villain who recently attacked U.A. She couldn't understanding this one thing, because he wasn't acting like a ruthless villain the media made him out to be when she encountered him last night.

After the shower which lasted a few minutes, she dried herself with a towel, put her pyjama and undergarments back on herself and walked back into the room where she saw the boy from last night. The h/c haired boy was sitting cross-legged on his bed with a tray of food in front of him. She looked away from him for a second to look at her bed and saw a tray filled with food she assumed to be her breakfast laying on it.

"Good morning, Jakuzure-san." He greeted after swallowing the piece of food he had in his mouth, "I brought us some breakfast. I'm sorry if you won't like it. I wasn't sure what to get you because I don't know what you like so I brought you what I took for myself."

"Don't worry. I won't mind whatever it is." Origami assured him as she walked past him, making her way to her bed. She was not going to complain a food someone else brought her, even if the food will turn out to be something she disliked, "How would you rate it?"

"I've had better, but I've also had worse." Y/N gave her an honest opinion on his breakfast.

Origami sat down on her bed and set her eyes down on the tray with her breakfast. Not wasting any time, she picked up a fork from her tray and stabbed a small piece of her breakfast with it. She lifted it up and put the piece in her mouth, beginning to chew on it. She nodded her head to herself as she swallowed this piece. This boy was right. The food wasn't the best and was something far away from something you'd get in a five star restaurant but it could have been much worse. After finding out if the food was eatible, she fully dig into her breakfast.

The two teenagers proceeded to eat their breakfast for the next few minutes, not exchanging many words with each other for all this time, them chewing on their breakfast being the only sound which came from them room. As she was almost done with her breakfast, Origami put her fork down and turned away from her tray. She looked at the h/c haired boy on the other bed when she felt the need of asking him about one thing.

"...Can I ask you something?" She broke the silence between them, putting her fork down for a second.

Y/N shifted his attention from his breakfast to her, "What is it?"

"Can you tell me your name if you're able to?" Origami asked, "It's okay if you want to share your name with me, because of you keeping your identify a secret from everyone. Just give me a name I could use to call you."

"You told me your name last night so it would be fair if I gave you mine." Y/N stated. He saw no reason in keeping his name a secret from her, because she already saw his face, "My name is L/N Y/N."

"Y/N?" Origami titled her head to the side, "Isn't that an American name?"

"Yeah, half on my mother's side." Y/N replied, "I'm half American half Japanese."

"I see." Origami nodded in understanding and gave him a grateful look on her face, "Thank you for telling me your name, L/N-kun."

"You don't need to just call by my last name." Y/N told her, "Just call me Y/N."

"Okay." Origami nodded in understanding, making a mental note out of it, "In that case, you can call me Origami." Y/N nodded to show his understanding of her words, making a mental note out of it as Origami spoke to him again. A worried look formed on her face when she uttered the next words to him, "I'm sorry if I'm bringing this up too soon, but last night you told me something about getting me some clothes."

"You don't need to apologize. I was about to bring this part into the conversation myself." Y/N replied as Origami's worried look faded from her face, "I already know where we're going to buy you some clothes. I asked around the motel if there is any clothes store in the area when I heading to get us some breakfast and I was told about this one store a few minutes away from this motel."

"I guess we're going to this store after we finish breakfast?" Origami asked, nodding her head at Y/N's answer.

"Yes." Y/N replied. He wanted to leave this motel as soon as possible because it was filled with all kinds of shady people who were leading life of crime and he didn't want Origami to be noticed by those people, because of her being a normal civilian, "After we will leave our room, will you wait for on the sidewalk outside the motel? I will have to split up for you for a moment to leave to keys at the reception."

Origami nodded and went back to eating his breakfast, finishing it about a minute later. She and Y/N walked out of their motel room and parted ways shorty after they finished their breakfast, the former going to the reception of the motel to leave the keys to his and Origami's room there and the latter going to wait for him outside on the sidewalk leading to the motel, just like they planned.

They met up a few moments later and began to make their way to the store Y/N had told Origami about when they were eating breakfast. Y/N wasn't exaggerating when the said that the store was only a few minutes away from them as they managed to reach it in this exact time. In fact, this store being the closest one to them out of all the stores in the city was the reason why Y/N choose this option out all the clothes store he was told about by the guests of the motel.

He wanted Origami to get some normal clothes as soon as possible, because her walking around the city in her pyjama's would definitely gain some attention from the people which was something he'd like to avoid. He knew someone would ask them about Origami being in her pyjama sooner or later as he and Origami already managed to receive a few weirded out looks from the people they passed on the sidewalk on their way to the store.

He took a look around the store right after entering. It seemed like he and Origami were the only clients in it right now as the cashier happened to be the only person in the store upon their arrival. Origami split up from him and began browsing through the clothes in order to choose something for herself a few seconds later. As he waited for her to find something for herself, Y/N leaned against the wall close to the changing stalls, giving Origami all the time she needed to choose the clothes for herself. His attention was brought towards one of the changing stalls several minutes later as Origami called out for him, telling him to come there.

Y/N came closer to the changing stall and Origami came out of it as soon as she heard him stop in front of it, showing off the clothes she choose for herself to him. Her new outfit consisted of a light blue T-shirt, blue jeans and a pair of regular tennis shoes.

"What do you think?" She asked him.

Y/N didn't answered to her question straight away because he didn't really know what to say. He never was in a situation where someone else asked him to rate their clothes, "...It looks good. The blue color of your T-shirt really matches..." He paused for a second, trying to think of a way how to end his sentence, "...Eyes?"

Origami's diamond blue eyes widened as she was taken by suprise by his answer, because she didn't except him to refer to her eyes when rating her choice of clothes. She glanced to the side, blushing slightly as she was not used to hearing this kind of thing from other people, "T-Thank you."

Y/N's eyes widened as he realized he could have just tell her that her new clothes looked good on her instead of doing what he just did. He glanced to the side, feeling a blush forming on his face, "Y-You're welcome."

"I-I'll be leaving the store in those clothes, then." Origami stated, turning her gaze back to him.

"O-Okay." Y/N  nodded his head, "Let's go to the cash register, then."

Wanting to end the awkward atmosphere which formed between them, Origami turned away from Y/N to look behind herself for a second. She grabbed his shoes and turned back to him, holding his shoes out to him, "Here." She praised herself internally for not stuttering this time, "You can have them back. I won't need them anymore. Thank you for letting me use them."

Y/N nodded as he took his shoes from her and slipped his feet into them, "It was no problem."

"What are we going to do about my pyjama?" Origami asked as she grabbed her pyjama and showed it to Y/N, "Are we going to take with us or throw it?"

"What do you want to do with it?" Y/N replied with a question on his own.

"I don't really want to throw it away." Origami gave him an honest answer.

Y/N nodded as he took off his backpack and unzipped it, holding it out to Origami, "Put it my backpack. We'll keep it in there for now."

"Okay." Origami nodded and put her pyjama in Y/N's backpack, "So, are we going to pay for my clothes, now?"

"Yes." Y/N replied as she zipped his backpack and slouched it over his shoulder. He turned towards the cash register, beginning to walk towards it, "Let's go."

Origami nodded and followed him to the cash register where the cashier was waiting for them. After paying for her clothes, she and Y/N walked out of the store, having no more reason to be there and walked into the streets, starting to walk forward themselves along the sidewalk.

"Where are we going now?" Origami asked a moment after they walked out of the store.

"I don't know to be honest." Y/N gave her an honest answer, "Is there any place you want to go?"

"Can we go to the pool?" Origami asked with a pleading look on her face, as if she was asking him for permission, "I always liked going there. It helped forget about everyday problems. About my mother."

Y/N smiled slightly at Origami, nodding his head at her, "Pool it is. Can you take me to it? I'm pretty new to this city and don't really know where to find it."

"Yes." Origami nodded, turning in the direction of the pool as she smiled at him, gladdened he had accepted her suggestion, "On our way to the pool, I will take you to the store where they sell swimming suits."

Y/N nodded, following Origami towards their newest destination.

-----

Y/N stood on the edge of the swimming pool, looking down at his reflection in the water below him as he waited for Origami to walk out of the changing room and approach him. He and Origami had arrived at the local swimming pool several minutes ago and split up to go into different changing rooms to change into the swimming suits they had purchased on their way to the pool.

He shifted his gaze away from the water below him to himself, giving his swimming suit a quick look. His swimming suit was nothing extroadinary. Just a pair of simple black swimming shorts. He didn't thought for long when it came to choosing a swimming suit for himself after Origami took him to the store where they could buy themselves one as he took the first good pair of swimming shorts which were his size.

"Hey." He shifted his gaze to the source of the voice and saw Origami coming his way. Her swimming suit just like his wasn't anything extraodinary. She wore a simple black one-piece swimsuit that the girls usually wore whenever they were going to the pool, "Sorry if I kept you waiting."

"Don't worry." Y/N replied as Origami stopped next to him, "I didn't wait for long."

"Okay." Origami nodded, "I think we should get in..." Her words died in her throat before she could finish her sentence. It was when her eyes landed on Y/N's chest. Something about it managed to catch her entire attention as soon as she set her eyes on it. She proceeded to stare at it for the next moment, her face becoming slightly reddened.

"What is it?' She heard Y/N ask her a moment later which broke her out of her trance, "Is there something wrong?"

Origami looked away from Y/N and glanced to the side, blushing slightly as she was embarassed , "N-Nothing. I'm sorry. Please. Don't be mad."

Y/N raised his brow quizzicaly, not noticing the blush on her face, "Why would I be mad?"

"I started thinking about getting into the water and ended up getting lost myself in my thoughts for a second." Origami explained, lying about the reason of her words dying in her throat in the middle of the sentence, "Once again, I'm sorry about it."

Y/N seemed slightly taken by suprise by how nervous Origami became by thinking she had angered him. He sighed internally, realizing it must have been something she had taken out of her home, "It's okay. I'm not mad. This happens to everyone from time to time."

"O-Okay." Origami nodded, her nervous expression vanishing from her face. She cleared her throat as she regained her composure, trying to forget about her embarassment, "As I was saying before I lost myself in thoughts." She turned away from Y/N and sat down on the ground, dipping her feet into the water, "Let's go into the water."

Y/N nodded his head at her as Origami pushed herself off her spot into the water and Y/N wasted no time and followed her. The h/c haired boy clenched his teeth the moment he got himself into the water, because of how cold the water was. He didn't say anything about it to Origami, even though she seemed to be dealing with the same thing right now, because he knew it was going to be temporary. He just had to wait a few seconds to let his body get used to the water temperature.

"You alright?" Origami asked, noticing how Y/N had his teeth clenched.

"Yes." Y/N nodded, "Just had to get used to the water temperature."

Origami nodded in understanding, having gotten used to the water temperature a few seconds earlier, "Is there something you want to do?"

"Nothing comes to my mind right now. I go to the pool very rarely." Y/N shook his head, "What do you want to do?"

"I see." Origami nodded in understanding and suggested, "How about a race?" She pointed at the end of the pool which was closer to them, "From there." She pointed at the other end of the pool, "To there."

Y/N nodded his head, accepting Origami's suggestion, "Let's go."

Origami smiled, gladdened he liked her idea. She and Y/N made their way to the one end of the pool from where they would begin their race. Upon reaching it, they exchanged glances and got themselves into the proper stances. Origami counted from three to one and the two began their race right after. Y/N did his best to keep up with Origami with his very average swimming skills, but it wasn't enough as by the time he reached the other end of the pool, Origami was already waiting for him there, having finished a few seconds before him.

"You're really good at this." Y/N stated as he set his eyes on Origami shorty after they finished their face, impressed by how fast Origami's swimming was. His sensei had put him through a lot of physical training during his ten months training, but swimming was the one thing which was excluded from it, because the place he was staying at during his training didn't have any pool.

"Thanks." Origami smiled at him. Back in her school, she thought about joining the swimming club shorty after beginning her first year of highschool, but was forced to gave up on those thoughts after everyone learned the truth about her, because her schoolmates from the said club wanted nothing to do with her, "What do you say about another race? Only this time instead of ending our race right after reaching the other end of the pool, we have to return to where our race started."

Y/N nodded his head at her, getting himself into a proper stance, "Just give me the word."

"Okay. On three." Origami nodded, more than ready for another reace and got herself into a proper stance as well, "One...two...three!"

Not wasting any time, she and Y/N jumped into action the moment she reached three and began their second race which as just like the previous one ended with Origami's victory over Y/N. They spent the next hour in the pool and the two had no complains about the time spent there as Origami got to do something she enjoyed doing in her free time and Y/N saw this as a nice change from his usual training routine.

After spending an hour passed, the two climbed out of the pool and went into separate changing rooms to dry themselves from the water and get changed into their clothes. Y/N had to wait for Origami for a bit, because it took Origami longer than him to dry her hair because of her hair being longer than his. After meeting up next to the exit from the pool, Y/N and Origami put their swimming suits in Y/N's backpack and walked out of the building.

"Thanks for taking me to the pool." Origami gave Y/N a grateful smile shorty after they walked out of the building, "I think it was exactly what I needed after what happened last night between me and my mother. I'm sorry if you had a bad time, though."

"You don't need to worry." Y/N assured her, "I didn't have bad time there. It was a nice change from my usual training."

"Is there any place you'd like to go?" Origami asked.

"What?" Y/N asked, her question taking him by suprise, "Why are you asking me?"

"We went to the pool because I wanted to go there. It would be fair if we now went to the place you'd want to go." Origami explained, "Is there any place you'd like to go?"

"I suppose that's fair." Y/N stated. He stayed silent for the new few seconds, allowing himself to take enough time to come up with the place he and Origami will go next, "I have one place in mind. Can you tell me where the nearest arcade is?"

-----

Y/N and Origami stopped in their tracks, inches away from the lanes on the street, for a second when the building which Y/N assumed to be the arcade, the destination which he choose shorty after they left the swimming pool together, appeared in their way. It was on the other side of the street, standing between two buildings which appeared to be normal residential buildings

"Is this the place?" Y/N asked as he pointed at the building on the other side of the street, wanting to be sure if he was looking at the right building.

"Yes." Origami nodded in confirmation, "It's the first arcade I could think of after you asked me about it."

Y/N nodded and stepped forward from his face, beginning to make his way to the other side of the street, "Let's get going."

Origami nodded and moved from her space, following Y/N throughout the street. They made their way to the other side of the street and walked into the arcade. The door closed itself behind them as Origami and Y/N looked around themselves to take a good look at the place they had just entered, quickly noticing how few people there were in the building right now.

"Good thing today is a school day." Y/N stated as he looked at Origami, "The place won't be too crowded at this time of the day."

"Is there any arcade you want to check out first?" Origami asked.

"Let's take a look around." Y/N replied, "After I will choose an arcade, I'll let you know."

Origami nodded in understanding. She and Y/N went further in the building, passing by many various arcades in the process. A few of them were occupied by someone, but most of them were free and waiting for someone to spent their money on them. After a moment of walking through the building, Y/N walked over to a Wack-a-Mole machine. The machine had a simple layout. Two sides, two hammers, and a counter at the top. Y/N choose this arcade out of all the arcades in the building, because it was an arcade he and Origami could play together, without making her watch him play one from the background.

Y/N and Origami stopped in front of the machine they had just come across after deciding to make it the first arcade they'll play together, the h/c haired boy standing on the right side and the dark green haired girl standing on the left side. They exchanged glances, smilling at the competitiveness between them. After Y/N tossed a few yen into the machine, they grabbed the hammers from their side of the machine and readied themselves for the game.

The sign above them lightened up right after Y/N tossed a few yen into it.

3

Y/N and Origami tightened their grips around the hammers they were holding, ready to use them at any moment.

2

Y/N and Origami exchanged one last glance, ready to see which one will be better at this game.

1

The game had begun when a small mole head popped out on both sides of the machine. He and Origami smacked them down at the same time, almost in a perfect synchronization. More little mole heads started popping out of the machine as Y/N and Origami wasted no time and began smacking them down. Origami glanced to the side after she heard how quickly Y/N's score counter was going up and her eyes widened once he saw how quickly he was bringing down his hammer.

She shifted her attention back to her machine and increased her speed, knowing it was the only way she could get close to the score Y/N will end up having if he will keep up his pace. She focused her entire attention on the machine in front of her, making sure to hit the target right after it will pop out, ensuring to be as quick as possible while doing so.

The game came to an end several seconds later and she and Y/N  looked up at their scores, wanting to know who won, even though the answer seemed quite obvious for Origami long before their match ended. Her suspicions were confirmed a second later as Y/N managed to get a much better score than her. His score was eight-four and her score was sixty-one.

"Looks like you've won." She shifted her attention from her score to Y/N, offering himself a smile, "You're really good at this."

"If you say so." Y/N answered to her compliment, not used to getting those from the people who weren't his Sensei.

"I mean it. I couldn't keep up with your for the better part of the game and your score is much better than mine." Origami assured Y/N she meant her compliment after seeing how he reacted to her words, "I saw how fast you were moving for a second. How did you became so good at this?"

"I was coming to a place like this in my hometown pretty often." Y/N explained, "It was helping me forget about my everyday problems for a moment."

Origami nodded, understanding that playing arcades must have been for Y/N something going to the pool was for her. It was when she realized something. It was the first information Y/N shared with her about himself. Could he have been going through something similiar to her if he was going to one place in his free time in order to make him forget about his everyday problems, just for a second?

"Do you want to try again?" She asked him a moment later after breaking herself out of her thoughts.

"No." Y/N shook his head, "Let's go try something else." He turned away from the Wack-a-Mole machine and pushed himself into a walk towards another arcade which he wanted to check out, "I saw an arcade with dual pistols when we were taking a look around the arcade. Let's see if it's still free."

Origami nodded and followed him to the next arcade he wanted to check out. They reached it a few seconds later. They game had a simple layout just like Wack-a-Mole. Two pistols and a single screen. It wasn't occupied by anyone at the moment so Y/N and Origami walked over to it. Origami grabbed the pistol on the left side and Y/N grabbed pistol on the right side, before tossing a few yen into the machine, starting the game.

Y/N and Origami remained in the building for the next hour and a half, giving themselves a chance to play each arcade in the building at the least once. As the time passed, more people started gathering inside the building, meaning it was the time of the day when the students were leaving their schools. It was when they decided to leave the building as it was getting too crowded there and it would make it harder for them to find a free arcade.

Y/N turned around to look at Origami a few seconds after they walked out of the arcade, hearing her stomach grumble, "Are you hungry?"

Origami nodded in confirmation, putting her hand on her stomach, "Yes. A bit. It's been a while since we ate our breakfast at the motel and they food they gave us there wasn't much."

"Then, let's go eat something." Y/N said, "I was becoming quite hungry myself."

"Can I choose a place where he could eat something?" Origami asked, "I know a good place."

"What place do you have in mind?" Y/N  replied.

"Can we go to a steakhouse?" Origami shared the place she had in mind with him.

"A steakhouse?" Y/N seemed suprised by her answer.

"Yes." Origami nodded in confirmation, "I know a good one not too far from here."

Y/N nodded at her, not worrying about the food in this place if Origami was vouching for it, "Lead the way."

-----

Origami smiled to herself as she and Y/N took their seats at the empty table in the steakhouse she had taken him to. It took them a few moments to find an empty table in the steakhouse, because the place happened to be quite filled upon their arrival. If she was honest with herself, she should have excepted it, because many people were coming here from their jobs to get something to eat, before returning to their homes.

After taking her seat opposite of Y/N, Origami picked up the menu card from the table and began browsing through the offers, trying to choose which piece of meat she should order to herself. Her smile widened slightly, continuing to browse through the menu card as she and Y/N waited for either the waiter or the waitress working at this place to approach their table. Her smile widened, because right now she was feeling something she hadn't experienced in a long time and something she had missed.

She was having fun.

For the first time in in a long time she was actually having fun and she wasn't having fun all by herself, but with another person who wasn't treating her like a monster. She couldn't remember the last time when she was feeling like this. She couldn't remember the last time when she went out to hang out with another person and doing various things with them, simply enjoying each other's company.

Her eyes wandered down the menu card to where the most priced pieces of meat were located. She set her eyes on the steak she always wanted to try, but couldn't because of how expensive it was. Origami felt her mouth water at the thought of eating of such an expensive and fancy steak. She wasn't going to order, though, because of how much it costed and because of how much money Y/N had already spent today.

"You seem pretty excited about this entire thing." Y/N remarked, looking up from his own menu card.

"Meat is my favourite thing to eat." Origami explained, "I was always going here whenever I was able to save enough money to visit a place a like this."

"I see." Y/N nodded in understanding.

"Do you have any place like this yourself?" Origami asked out of curiosity.

"Yes." Y/N nodded in confirmation, "There was one bakery in my hometown I used to visit pretty often back when I was living there. The guy who owns it makes the best baked goods you can think of.. Too bad I can't visit it anymore."

"Why?" Origami asked. She got the answer she wanted a second later as she realized it herself. The fun she was having today made her forget that Y/N was a villain, "Oh, right."

"How did you stumble across this place?" Y/N asked in an attempt to change the subject of the conversation into something else.

"I was coming back home from another rough day at school and overheard two people talking about a new steakhouse opening up and about how good the food here was." Origami began her answer, "I went to this place to see if the food here was as good as the people I overheard were saying. After my order arrived at my table, I

It was when a waitress walked over to the table with an opened notebook with left hand and a pen in left hand, "Hello. May I take your order or are you still deciding what to get?"

"I'll have a regular medium rare steak." Origami gave the waitress her order, asking her for something she usually ordered whenever she was coming to this place.

"One regular medium rare steak." The waitress wrote Origami's order down in her notebook and looked at Y/N, "What about you?"

"I'll have the same as her." Y/N replied, ordering the same thing as Origami as he wasn't exactly sure what to order for himself, because it was his first time in this place. If this was the steak Origami ordered, then it must have been good, right?"

The waitress nodded and wrote down Y/N's order in her notebook, right under Origami's order. She thanked them for ordering at this place and walked away from their table right after to let the Chef's know about two newest order. As their waited for their orders to arrive, Origami and Y/N started another conversation with each other, wanting to kill the time with something when waiting for their orders to arrive.

The waitress came back with their orders several minutes later and Origami wasted no time and immediately dug into her steak which showed Y/N just how much she most have loved this type of food. Y/N waited for a second before digging into his steak. He saw how a large smile spread over her face the moment she put a piece of steak in her mouth a second later.

"Sooo goood." She said to herself after swallowing the piece she had in her mouth right now, quickly using her knife to cut another piece of steak for herself, "This place never disappoints me."

After seeing Origami's reaction to tasting the steak she had ordered for herself, Y/N looked away from her to look down at his own order. He used a knife to cut a small piece of meat from the steak and stuck his fork into it. He put the piece in his mouth and started chewing on it. His eyes widened the moment he started chewing it, taken by suprise by just how good the meat tasted. Origami smiled to herself after seeing his reaction, glad to see him enjoying a steak from her favourite steahouse.

The two stayed in Origami's favourite steakhouse for the next several minutes, giving themselves as much time to finish their delicious meal as they needed. After emptying their plates, they walked out of the steahouse. Having no idea where to go next, Y/N allowed Origami to take him to the next place to the next place she had in mind. This placed turned out to be a park not too far from the steakhouse.

The park Origami had taken Y/N to was a nice quiet and calm place. It was filled with people who were doing various activities such going on the walks with their dogs or going on the walks with their families. Y/N and Origami walked through the park for a few minutes before they came across an empty bench somewhere in the middle of it. They sat down on the bench, deciding to take a short break from walking.

"Y/N." Origami called out for Y/N shorty after they took their seats on the bench.

Y/N looked at her, "What is it?"

"Can I ask you something?" Origami replied with a question of her own.

"Sure." Y/N nodded. He will have to tell Origami to stop asking him if she could ask him a question. It must have been another thing she had taken out of her home.

"Why did you become a villain?" Origami asked the question which was on her mind as Y/N stopped in his tracks upon hearing her question. A nervous look formed on her face as Y/N turned to look at her, "I-I'm sorry if I angered you by asking this question, but I am just curious about it. From everything I saw from you today, you just don't act like a man. This is why I can't help but wonder why you became one. I know how your Quirks works like from the description I heard in the TV. One person even made comment your Quirk would make a good her if it found itself in the right hands."

"I wouldn't be able to become a hero, even if I wanted to become one, because I was born Quirkless." Y/N explained as Origami's eyes widened in suprise, because she wasn't excepting to hear something like that in answer to her question.

"What?" She didn't even try to hide her suprise from him, "What do you mean you were born Quirkless? You have a Quirk."

"This is why I said "was"." Y/N pointed out, "I wasn't born with my Quirk. I received it from my Sensei."

"You received it?" Origami seemed confused by the thought of Y/N receiving his Quirk from someone, "Is it even possible to receive a Quirk from someone?"

"It is if this is what your Quirk allows you to." Y/N replied, "My Sensei found me when I was at my lowest and offered to give it to me the next day. After giving it some thoughts, I accepted his offer."

"What do you mean he found you at your lowest?" Origami wanted to know, "Did something happened before you encountered him?"

Y/N looked at Origami, debating with himself if he should tell her about about his past before he became the Mask or not. He sighed a second later, deciding it would be fair if he shared his story with her, considering she shared her story with him last night, despise barely knowing him, "You told me your story last night, despise not knowing would fair if I shared my story with you."

Origami nodded her head and she readied herself to hear his story, making sure to listen carefully to everything he was going to say to her. Y/N told her everything. He started with how he was diagnosed to be Quirkles and followed it with everything else, starting with the bullying he had to endure in school and the treatment he was receiving from his parents at home who never helped him or comforted him whenever he was coming back home in tears and bruises.

Origami silently listened to everything Y/N was saying to her as Y/N continued his story. She now understood why he helped her last night. It was probably because he knew how it felt like to have a parent who doesn't care about you. The only sound which left her lips when Y/N was telling her his story was a shock filled gasp when the black hiared boy told her about his very first encounter with his Sensei, knowing there could have been only one reason why Y/N would stand on the edge of the roof during the night.

"...This is why I became a villain." Y/N said, nearing the ending of his story, "I want to create a society where people won't be too dependable on Quirks and heroes. If me having to become a villain in the price, then I'm willing to pay it."

Origami stared at him in silence for the next moment, allowing herself to process everything he had just told her, "...Y/N." She told him after a moment of staying silent, "Thank you for telling me all of this. I know it must have been hard for to to relive those memories."

"It's okay." Y/N said, "As I said, it would be fair if I shared my story, considering you shared your story with me last night which must have been hard for you too."

Origami nodded her head in understanding and looked down at the ground below her for a second as if she was debating with herself about something. She remained this way for a few moments before she nodded to herself and looked up at Y/N, "Can I ask you something?"

"You don't need to ask if you can ask me a question me everytime when you want to ask me one." Y/N told her, "Just ask me the question straight away if you want to ask me something."

"Okay." Origami nodded and took a deep breath, "...Let me join you."

Y/N looked taken aback by her sudden request, "What?"

"I want to join the League." Origami repeated her request to the suprised boy.

"Are you sure about this?" Y/N wanted to be sure if she was certain about her decision, "Joining the League isn't something you can back out of if you'll change your mind."

"Yes. I'm sure about this. Everything you just said is true. People have become too dependent on heroes." Origami her agreement with his words to him as she sounded quite convinced in her choice, "People knew what was happening to me for many years and yet none of them ever came to help me, because they thought a hero would show up and help me. The hero never showed up, though. I was all alone, completely helpless until you, a villain showed up and took pity on me. This is why want to join you. I want to help you create this new society."

"I see." Y/N nodded, "Looks like you're really convinced about this choice."

"Yes." Origami nodded in confirmation, "It's not like I have any better place to go. Any place will be better than staying with her."

After hearing her confirmation, Y/N got up from the bench and turned away from her, beginning to walk in the direction of the bar, "If this is what you want, follow me."

"Where are we going now?" Origami asked as she got up from the bench and followed him.

Y/N looked over his shoulder and replied, "To the League's hideout."

-----

Shigaraki and Kurogiri were together in the bar. Shigaraki scratched his neck as he watched the TV, no longer covered in the bandages he was forced to wear by the doctor Giran brought into their hideout after the USJ attack and Kurogiri was polishing the glass which was just used by Shigaraki. Their attention was brought to the entrance when it was opened by someone. They saw Y/N walk into the bar.

"Ah, there you are, Y/N. Welcome back." Kurogiri said right after Y/N walked into the bar, "You didn't contact us since last night. I was starting to think about contacting you myself."

"You took your damn time with this walk of yours." Shigaraki stated, "Didn't you say yesterday to Kurogiri it was going't take a few hours?"

"I'm sorry about not contacting you today." Y/N apologized to Kurogiri and Shigaraki for not contacting them, bowing his head slightly as he walked further into the bar and looked over his shoulder when he heard someone follow him into the bar. Origami walked into the bar and closed the door behind her, immediately setting her eyes on the two villains that Y/N was associated with, "But I got occupied with something and couldn't contact you because of it."

Shigaraki shifted his gaze from Y/N to Origami and pointed at her, angered by Y/N bringing a person who looked like a regular civilian into their hideout, "Who is this brat and why did you brought her into our hideout?"

"Calm yourself, Shigaraki Tomura. There's no need to be angry." Kurogiri said, already suspecting why Y/N brought Origami into their hideout, "I'm sure Y/N has a good reason for bringing her into our hideout."

"I wouldn't bring her into our hideout if I didn't have a reason to do so. I know how risky it would be to bring a civilian into our hideout without a good reason." Y/N answered and gestured towards Origami, "I'd like to meet our newest recruit, Jakuzure Origami."

"I see." Kurogiri said in understanding as he stepped out from his spot behind the counter and came closer to Y/N and Origami, his glowing yellow eyes set on the latter of the two, "A pleasure to meet you, Jakuzure Origami. I am Kurogiri." He looked away for a second to look at Shigaraki, "The young man over there is Shigaraki Tomura."

"It's nice to meet you both." Origami nodded his head at her introduction. She already knew their names from the news report about the USJ attack she saw on the TV, but decided to let the misty villain introduce himself.

Shigaraki folded his arms, looking at Origami from his seat, "What's your Quirk?"

"My Quirk is called Weapon Creation." Origami explained, "It allows me to change sticks and rocks into weapons. Rocks become grenades and sticks become blades or guns, depending on the fatness of the food."

Kurogiri nodded his head in understanding, feeling like the League might make a good use of Origami's Quirk in the future, "Do you have any villain name we can use when adressing you or do you wish to stick with your name?"

Origami remained silent for a brief moment before responding, coming up with a perfect villain name for herself, "...Call me Weaponsmith."

I'm so glad I managed to get this chapter done before the end of this month.

Are there any Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul fans? If yes, then have you seen the finale of Better Call Saul? I've seen the finale and I absolutely loved it. I think it was a perfect ending for Jimmy's/Saul's character and to this show as a whole. This entire show has been a fantastic ride and I will definitely miss waiting for the new episodes.
