My Villain Academia
Y/N was left completely silent by the view in front of him. He wasn't the only one. The rest of the League was silenced by the sudden appearance of this enormous individual as well, covering the area around them in a total silence. The h/c haired boy had to admit something to himself as he continued to stare at the enormous individual in front of him with a suprised look on his face. Out all the possibilities of what All For One's secret power could be, the thought of something like this being the said power had never crossed his mind.
"What's the meaning of this?" Dabi asked, breaking the silence between the members of the League.
Origami's eyes widened in suprise as she was taken by suprise by how tall this individual was, "He's so big."
"I never thought I would see someone else with a gigantification Quirk." Magne said, with her large magnet resting on her right shoulder, "He must be even taller than Mt. Lady..."
Y/N shifted his gaze from the enormous individual to Shigaraki for a second, "Is this the fighting power that Kurogiri went after before he was captured?"
"Looks like it." Shigaraki uncovered a bit of his face by lifting up his face-hand a bit, revealing the smile he had on his face right now, "I'm not impressed."
"...I devote everything to All For One." The enormous man said in his deep voice, silencing the members of the League as all of them shifted their attention back to him in an instant. He lowered his head a bit and set his eyes on Shigaraki and Y/N, mostly on the former, "Well then, successor. Show me whether you are worthy or not."
His words took Shigaraki by suprise, "...What?"
"Are we supposed to fight this?" Rappa asked. His voice was not filled with worry or nervousness, though. It was instead filled with excitement. Pure excitement filled his body at the thought of fighting this enormous individual.
As soon as Shigaraki voiced his suprise and Rappa voiced his excitement, the enormous man stomped the ground in a powerful manner. The stomp was so strong that it caused a large dust wave to engulf the area and that it send most of the League flying backwards. The only members who weren't send flying were Rappa and Tengai as Tengai formed his yellow forcefield around them, managing to stop both of them from flying backwards.
Tengai looked over his shoulder, seeing how everyone else from the League was knocked backwards by the enormous man. The former yakuza member shook his head at the view of them landing on the ground in the distance. He tried to stop as much of them as he could from getting knocked away, but unfortunely had too little time to do so and managed only to form it around Rappa.
"Why would you do this All For One? I can't believe it!" The enormous man screamed in despair with tears forming in his eyes upon seeing how everyone, including Shigaraki were easily knocked away from him by his attack as the members of the started to slowly get themselves back on their feet. He punched the ground in frustation, now openly sobbing as Tengai's forcefield vanished from around him and Rappa, "Tell me why Master! He's too weak to deserve this!"
"What the hell is going on with this guy?" Spinner asked, taken aback by this man's emotional outburst as he had just gotten himself back on his feet.
Mr. Compress nodded in agreement, getting up from the ground, "I don't get it either."
"This is bad." Y/N said, staying next to Shigaraki as he pushed himself back on his feet. How were they supposed to fight this enormous man, whatever his name was, if he knocked all of them away with just one attack. His emotional outburst only reassured him that this won't be easy.
"Shigaraki. Y/N. Looks like both of us run into some trouble." An eldery voice echoed from the radio that the enormous man must have brought with himself because the League knew none of them had a radio with them. This voice was unknown for most of the members of the League. The only people who recognized it were Shigaraki and Y/N. Both of them immediately knew who it was. It was someone both of them hadn't heard from in a long time. It was Doctor.
Shigaraki shifted his gaze to from the despairing man to the source of the voice and set het eyes on the radio, "Doctor."
"Is this the doctor we've been looking for?" Magne asked, stepping closer to Shigaraki and Y/N.
"Yes." Y/N nodded in confirmation as he followed Shigaraki's example and set his eyes on the radio. He asked him a certain question right after. He knew the answer to it quite obvious, but it wouldn't hurt him if he made sure, right?, "Doctor. Are you the one who led this man here?
"If you're asking me this question and can hear me, then I understand that the Gigantomachia has already introduced himself to you." Ujiko told him as the now named Gigantomachia shifted his gaze to the League's current hideout.
"I want to accept him! I really do! But I just can't All For One! I can't accept this little punk!" Gigantomachia continued to despair as he unleashed his frustation on the League's current hideout. He slammed his fist againt the abandoned house, destroying it completely as the pieces of rubble of the said house surrounded the area around him. The League was fortunate enough to find themselves out of their reach as they were in a fair distance from the massive man.
Mustard shook his head, letting out a sigh, "Great. Looks like we'll have to find a new place to sleep..."
"Good thing we took all our equipment from there." Tengai said.
"The hell is his problem?" Shigaraki asked as he lifted his hand up to his neck and began to scratch it. Y/N shifted his gaze to him for a second, having forgotten when was the last time he saw Shigararki do this.
"Who cares? Let's just go fight him!" Rappa replied, his excitement becoming more evident to the rest.
"Are you crazy!? We'll get squashed to death by him! Look at what he did to our hideout" Twice shook his head at Rappa's idea as he pointed towards the destroyed remains of their hideout. He gave him a thumbs up afterwards, "Great idea, Rappa! I'll be right behind you!"
Y/N shifted his gaze back to the radio, "Doctor. Can you tell us more about him?"
"As you already know, his name is Gigantomachia. He once supported All For One as his personal bodyguard." Ujiko began his explanation just a second after Y/N asked him this question, "He's got incredible stamina and resilience and with that body he can handle multiple quirks without having to undergo any modification. A few years after the master took Shigaraki in and after All Might weakened him, All For One knew defeat was inevitable. So he hid Gigantomachia from view, he thought many steps ahead and planned meticulously. He did this so that no matter what might become of him he might be certain that his hopes and dreams would live on."
Dabi shook his head, litting up his hands in his blue fire, "Call me crazy but this doesn't seem like a very nice gift or is it just me?"
Mustard nodded in agreement, "Even I would have thought of a better gift to someone! You know, the kind of a gift that wouldn't try to kill them just a second after meeting them!"
"Good eye, you two!" Ujiko complimented them, "Gigantomachia is loyal that's what led him down the path of despair you see now. It pains him that Shigaraki doesn't quite measure up to All For One."
"So you're saying we gotta make this big baby like us?" Dabi asked as Gigantomachia shifted his gaze from the rubble of the house to him and the rest of the League. From the stance he had taken upon setting his eyes back on the League, everyone instantly realized he was going to try to attack them again.
"Guys. He is going to rush at us!" Magne pointed out just as Gigantomachia pushed himself into run towards the League, proceeding to cry in his own despair. Dabi blasted him with his blue flames, thinking he will do some damage on him. Much to the suprise of him and everyone else from the League, the flames didn't do anything to Gigantomachia as he ran through them like they were nothing.
Toga's eyes widened, "It's not working, Dabi-kun!"
"He brushed it off like nothing!" Origami added, her eyes refusing to close as her suprise regarding Gigantomachia continued to grow with each passing moment.
Tengai shook his head, his eyes betraying how suprised he was by the view of Dabi's flames doing nothing, "I can already tell this will be a long process."
"How are we supposed to fight him if he brushed off Dabi's flames like nothing?" Spinner asked. keeping his hand on his blade as he got himself ready to pull it out for the upcoming fight.
"The simple way. We'll just beat the living crap out of him." Rappa didn't share their pessimism as his excitement regarding fighting Gigantomachia continued to grow with each passing second. He took the fighting stance, ready to take Gigantomachia head on. He had never faced such opponent before and it was enough to fill his veins with excitement and adrenaline.
"Machia." All For One's deep voice echoed from the radio just a second later, stopping Gigantomachia in his charge before he could reach the League. He quickly made his way to the radio and fell on his knees, nuzzling the radio like it was the most precious thing to him.
"That's a recording of All For One's voice. I knew it would calm the big guy down." Ujiko said as Gigantomachia continued to nuzzle the radio, having forgotten about the League's presence because of All For One's voice.
"I don't want this thing." Shigaraki voiced his thoughts on Gigantomachia, less than pleased by him, "He's more trouble than he's worth."
Y/N nodded in agreement, "I have to agree with you here. He seems to me like too big of a wildcard to me. We already had one in our organization before in the form of Muscular and we all know that ended up. Good thing he didn't get anyone else locked up with him back when we attacked U.A's summer camp."
"You sure? He could be quite handy to have on your side in the future." Ujiko pointed out, letting out a sigh, "I keep forgetting you two are still rookies. You two need to smarten up. Give me a second. I'll try something out."
"What is he up to?" Toga asked.
"Probably something crazy." Mustard replied like it was the obvious most thing in the world.
"Mad scientist types make no..." Twice was interrupted from saying more by his own burp.
Toga deapanned at him, "Really Jin? So gross. How immature can you..."
Her words died in her throat as she was cut off by something coming out of her mouth. It was a black sludge. Not even a second passed until this sludge forced itself out of the mouths of each member of the League. Aside from Tengai and Rappa, the members of the League immediately knew what kind of sludge it was. It was used to transport them out of the bar back in Camino Ward after the heroes had them surrounded and without a way out. It was just a matter of seconds before the League was transported somewhere else, leaving Gigantomachia alone.
------
Origami had no idea where she and the rest of the League was transported after the black sludge started to come out of their mouths. The first thing she focused on after she and the rest of the League had been transported to some other place was the disgusting taste in her mouth. Despite her having gone through this way of transportation this back in Camino Ward, the taste it left in her mouth was no less disgusting.
The dark green haired girl gagged slightly at the terrible taste in her mouth right now, hoping it will leave her taste buds soon as she didn't want to deal with it for any longer. She shifted her attention from the terrible taste in her mouth to her new surroundings right after. Her eyes widened right after. What she saw water tanks, despite this room barely being lit up. All of them. What was inside those water tanks caught her attention. She saw Nomus. A lot of them. Each water tank was having a Nomu inside it.
"...It stinks!" Toga yelled in disgust as soon as she sludge around her dissolved away, flailing her arms up and down.
Magne frowned, "The taste was as bad as I remembered it..."
"What was that?" Tengai asked in a slightly disgusted tone as Rappa nodded at the question,.
"Something that somewhat helped us escape from Camino Ward after we found ourselves surrounded." Mr. Compress explained to Tengai and Rappa as both of them nodded in understanding at his explanation, "I didn't expect it to be used on us any time soon, considering All For One is locked up in Tartarus."
Shigaraki looked around himself to get a better understanding of his surroundings, "Where are we?"
Mustard raised his brow at all the water tanks around him upon taking a good look at his surroundings, "Nomu?"
"There's so many of them here." Origami said with a slightly suprised look on her face, having never seen so many Nomus in one place until now. A small shiver went down her spine as she continued to look around herself. This place was a bit scary with all water tanks with Nomus around. It made the entire place look like a place straight out of horror movie or a horror video game.
Dabi narrowed his eyes at the water tanks around him, "They don't look like ones I've seen before."
Y/N nodded in agreement, "I haven't seen a Nomu like this since we attacked the USJ."
"I'm impressed you can tell the difference. I knew you had a keen pair of eyes." An eldery male voice echoed from in front of them. Everyone shifted their attention towards the source of this voice and saw someone sitting on a chair in front of a set of screen and monitors. The person turned around in their chair, revealing themselves to be a shorty eldery man with a moustache and glasses. Shigaraki and Y/N looked at each other and nodded, knowing they had found Doctor, "These little ones are different, nothing like mid or low level Nomu. These are High-End, my finest work super Nomu, dare I call them masterpieces?"
"Doctor. We've been searching for you. We a little request of our own to you. We want you to duplicate a certain bullet for me." Shigaraki went straight to business with Ujiko, pulling out the case with Overhaul's bullets and showing it to Ujiko.
"Your hair's grown longer, Shigaraki!" Ujiko paid no attention to Shigaraki's words and shifted the subject of the conversation to something else before it could even properly start, "Are your father and everyone else well doing well."
"What?" Shigaraki looked slightly taken aback by this question. He nodded at him a second later, "Yeah..."
"Y/N!" Ujiko shifted his attention to Y/N right after, "How long has it been since we saw each other in person? The last time we saw each other must have been before All For One brought you to Shigaraki and Kurogiri."
Y/N nodded at him, "Yes, Doctor. It has been a while indeed."
"Your hair longer as well." Ujiko remarked, "I haven't seen you with a hair this long since All For One gave you your power."
Mr. Compress narrowed his eyes at Ujiko, wanting to get a better look at him as he moved closer to him, "That's the Doctor? I can't make him out with that black light."
"Stay away!" Ujiko raised his brow slightly, making Mr. Compress stop in his tracks. Everyone were slightly starled by his scream and he chuckled at them in a slightly apologetic manner. The League couldn't tell whether his apology was genuine or not, though, "Hoho! My apologies, but do not approach me imprudently understood? I'll be the one who approaches you when I see fit. If you violate this rule, I'll return you to your original location immediately and have Gigantomachia obliterate you."
"You're the one who called us here in the first place!" Twice pointed out, "Crazy old man!"
Magne crossed her arms with a small frown on her face, "I can already tell that he will be fun to deal with."
"Can we just get down to business already?" Dabi asked.
"Other than Shigaraki and Y/N, I suppose this our first time meeting, yes? Although we may have crossed paths somewhere before." Ujiko said as Dabi narrowed his eyes at him. This action went unnoticed by the rest of the League, though as all of them had their attention focused on the eldery man, "Much like Gigantomachia, I'm a close ally of All For One. I'm Ujiko Daruma. I came up with that name myself you like it?"
"Just get to business already. We don't have all day." Mustard told him.
"Hohoho. You have a quite a mouth on you, kid." Ujiko stated, chuckling, "Can't say I'm suprised by it, though. I did a little research on all of Shigaraki and Y/N's comrades and found some interesting details about your school and what you did on the day of graduation. You used to attend Kuata Junior High, right? I can tell it from your uniform."
Mustard narrowed his eyes at him, visibly growing uncomfortable at the mention of his old school, "Whatever you know about my old school, don't you even start with this, old man."
"Hey! Leave Hiroto-kun alone!" Toga glared at Ujiko as Origami narrowed her eyes at the eldery man.
Y/N nodded in agreement at Toga's words, "Kataoka-kun is not comfortable when it comes to talking about it, Doctor. Can we go back to talking about business?"
"Very well. Now then, to business." Ujiko said, going to business as Mustard slightly calmed down at the subject of the conversation being changed, "I brought you here today because of an agreement I made out of my difference to our former boss." He gestured to all the Nomus around them as went further into his explanation, "My life, my tech, my expertise and of course my little ones here are dedicated to the great All For One. Up until now, you've been getting by on my scraps, my leftovers. It's not that I dislike you, I just have to be cautious. I need to make quite sure that your worthy of receiving the fruits of my labor. Because so far I'm unimpressed. A twenty-year old reject hanging around with the dreads of society. What can you show me to change my mind Shigaraki Tomura?"
Shigaraki stayed silent for a few seconds as he looked up towards the ceiling, "Honestly, I don't remember much about my life before I met you and Sensei. Even after I tried to remember some of it after the conversation I had with Y/N after Kurogiri was captured, nothing would fly throug my mind."
Ujiko nodded at him, "Yes I'm already well aware of that."
Shigaraki lowered his gaze from the ceiling and unattached one of his hands from his body, setting his eyes on it, "And yet...when I put these on my body, there's an uncontrollable rage that spills over. Ever since that day, I've been thinking about what happened. I have no memory of my life before my master helped me that day. I was just an empty shell not really hollow."
Spinner's eyes slightly widened at Shigaraki's words, "Shigaraki."
"When I put them on it's so strange. Though it still makes me feel sick to my stomach, wearing them washes calmness over me. Don't you think that's bizarre?" Shigaraki asked as he looked up from one of his attachable hands at Ujiko. Everyone stayed silent, listening to everything their leader had to say to them, "My mind's empty beyond those flashes and fragments and yet there's a heaviness in my heart like a lump of lead, never moving, fueling the rage that propels me, but never brings relief. Everytime when I get flashes of Sensei coming to save me when no one else would, I can't help but many things in common this situation has with the situations of some of the people standing next to him."
Ujiko hummed with slighly interest forming on his face, "Hmm?"
"Just like me, Y/N would have never gotten the help he needed if Sensei hadn't reached out to him on the night he found him on the edge of the roof." Shigaraki continued with his monologue as everyone proceeded to listen to him in interest, "Just like Y/N, Weaponsmith would have never gotten the help she needed if Y/N hadn't reached out to her. Just like Weaponsmith, Spinner would have never gotten the help he needed if it wasn't for him seeing Stain on the TV. All of us. We wouldn't have been forced to choose this path in our lives if the hero society wasn't as broken as it is. Why must I suffer? Why must we suffer to allow those heroes act like they have some moral ground above us, even though they're the ones who created the kind of world where people like us are forced to became this?"
A wicked smile formed underneath his face hand as soon as he uttered the last words of his monologue to Ujiko, "So then why shouldn't I destroy it? Why shouldn't we destroy the society that spat us out? Why shouldn't you lend us a hand in that? Let's destroy this society and rebuilt it from zero. A complete reset of everything! People will stop repeating those mistakes after we will do this reset as they will know what they will create and cause again if they will continue to act the way they do and repeat the same mistakes."
"Hohoho! Such a mature response from the likes of you Shigaraki Tomura. You can consider me pleasantly suprised." Ujiko laughed. He set his eyes on Y/N as he uttered the next words, "Y/N have been sharing a goal similiar to yours during his training with All For One long before he was brought to you and Kurogiri. He must have had some kind of effect on you if you went for a goal like this, huh?"
Shigaraki and Y/N exchanged glances with each other at Ujiko's words as neither of them knew how to reply to what he just said. Both of them asked themselves the same question right now as neither them put much into it before. Did they really have some kind of effect on each other as villains after they were introduced to each other? They failed to notice some of the looks their fellow members of the League had on their faces right now because of this. Many of them felt inspired by Shigaraki's monologue to Ujiko. Even Dabi had a hint of this emotion on his face. The rest of the League didn't notice this in him, though as he did a good job at masking it with his usual expression.
Ujiko laughed and leaned a bit closer to the League, "Alright! I'm in. I'll lend you my strength! Let's see what you can do. I'll help you achieve your vision but only if you can back up that speech with action. A villain's philosophy is worthless if he can't bring his dreams to life."
"I feel like I need to ask you something, Tomura-kun." Toga said as Shigaraki looked over his shoulder at her, "You know there are some things I like in this world. Will they be included in the part of the society that you're planning to destroy?"
"No. I wouldn't destroy it even if I my goal would be something beyond the hero society." Shigaraki replied, "The wishes of my comrades are important. You guys should get what you want in life."
Toga jumped up with a look of pure joy on her face at this information, "Alright!"
Ujiko once again laughed, "Hahaha! You're even more than I expected Shigaraki!"
Shigaraki shifted his gaze back to Ujiko and narrowed his eyes at him, "Bastard. You were just messing with me."
"I planned to work with you from the start. These little guys here are part of that. And what's more, I've been preparing some research for you Shigaraki." Ujiko revealed as Shigaraki's eyes slightly widened in interest at this revelation, "I've been planning to share some information with Y/N as well."
Y/N's eyes slightly widened in interest at his words, "What? What is it?"
"An important element of All For One's history. You haven't been told this earlier by me or All For One as we wanted to see if you keep yourself from being captured lone enough to become trustworthy enough to know this information." Ujiko explained, "I won't reveal it to you right now, though as I still want to be sure. The same goes for Shigaraki and the research that I prepared for him. You're all far too weak."
Rappa narrowed his eyes at him, "Weak?"
"Not now Rappa." Tengai whispered to him, trying to stop Rappa from making an unecessary scene.
"But there is something you can do to prove to me that you're ready." Ujiko continued, having not heard the interaction between Rappa and Tengai, "That big guy may be dense but he's valuable to us both. Though unlike me he hasn't accepted you as his own. Do you catch my drift? If you can make Gigantomachia submit to you then everything I have will be yours to use as you see fit. If you want what I offer you'll have to seize it for yourself."
Shigaraki smirked, "Ah, I see. That was a hell of a long tutorial."
Y/N rubbed the back of his head, "I don't think tutorial has even started, Tomura-kun."
Shigaraki shifted his gaze to him, his smirk refusing to leave his face, "I don't think so, Y/N. Fighting Gigantomachia will be like fighting the first boss after the tutorial to make your character capable of getting upgrades."
Y/N nodded at him, seeing a point in his way of thinking, "Okay. Fair point."
"Just so you know I'm not helping." Dabi said, causing everyone to look at him.
Toga smiled at him playfully, "Oh, don't be a brat just cause your flames didn't work on him."
"Shut up, crazy girl." Dabi replied, unamused by Toga's words and playful smile, "I have a good potential ally in mind, I'm gonna focus my energies there. Do you object?"
Shigaraki looked at him and shook his head, "No. I'll look forward to seeing the effects."
Y/N nodded in agreement, "I'm looking forward to meeting them if this will work out."
"Good to know you burning people around has finally paid off in some way." Mustard stated.
"Wait a minute before you'll head out on your own, Dabi-kun." Magne said, "Kataoka-kun is coming with you."
Mustard slowly shifted his gaze to Magne, "...What?"
"Fine. Whatever. It's not like I will manage to convince you not to have him go with me, right?" Dabi pointed out, shrugging his shoulders as Magne smiled at him, knowing Dabi was right in his words, "As long as he doesn't screw anything up or annoy me too much with his presence, I'll be fine with it."
Mustard shifted his gaze between everyone, "Wait a second. Don't I get a say in this?"
"Come on, Hiroto-kun." Toga told him, elbowing him, "Go with Dabi-kun and make sure he won't burn whoever he is seeing right now before he'll get a chance to bring him back to us."
Mustard looked at the look Toga directed his way right now. He pinched the bridge of his nose a second later, letting out a sigh, "Fine. I'll go." He let out another sigh, "I'm already regretting this decision."
"I'm not a fan of it either, but I don't think the others left us much of a choice." Dabi pointed out, "Just try not to annoy me a bit too much otherwise we will end up having one less member."
Mustard shrugged, "Can't promise you anything. You can be pretty annoying yourself, you know."
"In that case, Dabi and Mustard, I'd very much appreciate your help testing out a High-End Nomu." Ujiko said as Dabi and Mustard brought their attention back to him. He picked up a small Nomu from the ground and set it down on his knees, caressing it like it was a puppy, "I have just the one. It will be a perfect match for you two, especially with Dabi around."
Mustard looked at Ujiko questioningly, "What's that supposed to mean?"
Dabi narrowed his eyes at eldery man, "Were you even listening to us?"
"Send us back now so we can get started. I'm suddenly feeling motivated." Shigaraki told Ujiko as a metal hand rose up in front of him and Y/N. Both of them looked down at the hand, seeing it was carrying a tray with a few earpieces on it.
Y/N raised his brow as he took one of the earpieces for himself, "What is this?"
"A communication device." Ujiko explained as Shigaraki took one earpiece for himself, "From this point forward you two contact me using either of those devices exclusively." He gently patted the Nomu's head afterwards, "Time to work Johnny. Back to Gigantomachia these little soldiers go."
The Nomu now named "Johnny" immediately obeyed his command and opened it's mouth, sending a wave of black sludge towards the members of the League. The sludge covered the League and transported most of the League out of Ujiko's laboratory. The sludge dissolved away a few seconds later, revealing most of the League had been transported out of the place. Dabi and Mustard were the only members of it who remained in the laboratory.
"Good job, Johnny." Ujiko gave Johnny an affectionate pat on his head and set the Nomu down on the floor, letting it rest for a bit. He got up from the chair right after and pushed himself into walk towards Dabi and Mustard, "Alright. Let me take you to the Nomu that I want you to test out."
"Just don't make this take too long of your time." Dabi told him, "Just like I said, I am already busy with something else and I don't want to waste time on stuff like this."
"Don't worry. This shouldn't take more than a few hours of your busy schedule." Ujiko replied as he walked past Dabi and Mustard, beginning to walk towards one door at the end of the hallway. Dabi and Mustard exchanged glances with each other and started to follow him. The eldery man looked over his shoulder at them, setting his eyes on Mustard, "Mustard. Could you stay here for a moment and wait for us to return?"
Mustard stopped in his tracks and looked at him questioningly, "What? Why?"
"Because it will be for the best if only me and Dabi will go to retrieve this Nomu." Ujiko explained. Mustard knew the eldery man was not honest with him right now. He didn't push him, though as he knew it would be for the best if he didn't do anything to piss him off.
Mustard shrugged, "Fine. Whatever."
"Very well. Just make sure not to touch any of these water tanks for your own good." Ujiko told him as he turned away from Mustard, "Let's go, Dabi. I'm truly looking forward to see this Nomu perform in field."
Dabi remained silent, keeping his eyes narrowed at Ujiko as he and Ujiko walked out of Mustard's view upon walking into another room through the set of doors. After being left all alone in the laboratory, Mustard looked around himself at the water tanks with Nomus. If he was honest with himself, he was expecting Ujiko would want him to test out one of those Nomus. If those Nomus were supposed to be among the best, then he couldn't help but wonder how powerful was the Nomu which Ujiko wanted him and Dabi to test if it had to be kept somewhere else in this place.
It was when his attention was brought to something else in the laboratory. This something was Ujiko's set of monitors and screen. He pushed himself into walk towards it right after, feeling like he should take a look at this as this could help him find out more about the Nomu that he and Dabi were going to test. He knew Ujiko told him not to touch anything, but nothing would happen to him if he just took a quick look.
He stopped in front of the set of screen and monitors a few seconds later and allowed himself to take a better look at each of them. Upon taking a look at the screens, he realized he won't get much information about the Nomu as the screen displayed the way various Nomus were named like Hood, Chubs, Robot or Woman. As he continued to eye the lists on the screen, he eventually reached one group of Nomus.
This group of Nomus was known as Near High-Ends. He wouldn't pay more attention to this particular group of Nomus if it wasn't for one name among them catching his attention. This name caught his attention because he felt like he heard it somewhere before. This name was Funaki Noriaki 'Cyborg'. The name was almost on the top of the list and labelled as one of the more recent Near High-End Nomus, having been made over the course of the last few months.
His attention was taken off of the list of Nomus a few seconds later as someone had opened the door to the room Ujiko took Dabi too. Dabi's voice called out for him a second later, "Come here, brat! The Nomu had been activated!"
"I'm coming." Mustard replied as he turned away from the screens and monitors and pushed himself into walk towards the room Dabi and Ujiko were supposed to be in right now. He still would have preferred if he was with the rest of the League right now, but he doubted he could back away from it right now and ask Ujiko to transport him to the rest of the League and Gigantomachia as he and Dabi were supposed to go out and test a Nomu for him.
He shook his head to himself right after, letting out a sigh as he walked into the room and saw Dabi and Ujiko standing in front of one Nomu together. Whatever was going to happen today on their mission, he knew there was nothing he could worry about him. It couldn't have gone that bad for him and Dabi as they would have a powerful Nomu watching their back, right?
------
Mustard was wrong.
So wrong.
Everything went wrong in his and Dabi's mission of testing out the Nomu for Ujiko as soon as he and Dabi were transported into their destination of Kyushu City and releasing the Nomu into the said city. As the Nomu which he learned to be named Hood from Ujiko started to wreak havoc in the city and peform pretty well when it came to doing it's usual stuff, it eventually came into contact with the now named number one hero of Japan Endeavor and the now named number two hero of Japan Hawks.
There was something Mustard had admitted to himself as the fight between the two Nomus and two top heros of the country continued. He was utterly suprised by how well Hood performed against Endeavor and Hawks. Ujiko wasn't lying when he told them how Hood was stronger in power than the Nomu that the League used back in the USJ. The amount of strength Hood displayed during his fight with Endeavor and Hawks made him forget about the suprise he felt when he learned about this Nomu having an ability to talk.
As the fight continued between the Nomu and both of the top heroes in the country continued, Mustard was beginning to think Hood was going to kill them, especially after focusing on Endeavor. All of those thoughts left his mind in an instant, though after Endeavor launched himself and Hood into sky and performed one of his super moves at it, completely obliterating Hood with his power in a safe distance from the city.
Upon moving into the city to retrieve Hood, Dabi told him not to use his Quirk to put Endeavor and Hawks to sleep, no matter what would happen in the following next few minutes. Mustard obeyed it. He was not going to use his Quirk, anyway because he knew he couldn't use his Quirk with Dabi around without putting him to sleep as well in the process. As much as his Quirk could be useful at times, situations like this made it completely useless.
Everything went worse for their mission from there as Dabi didn't seem to have interest in retrieving Hood. His attention was instead focused on Endeavor who was collecting himself from the battle with Hawks' help, having gotten a scar on his face from this fight. As soon as both them got near them, Dabi created a circle of blue fired around the top heroes in the country in order to stop them from either leaving the scene with their injures or attacking them in some way.
After making themselves known to Endeavor and Hawks, Dabi focused all of his attention on Endeavor as both of them started a conversation wtih each other, with Dabi making sure to taunt Endeavor on each opportunity he got. Mustard tried to make Dabi stop and tried to make him more focused on what they should be focused but Dabi refused to listen to him and was instead more focused on taunting Endeavor.
As the interaction between Dabi and Endeavor continued, it became more apparent to Mustard that they won't be able to retrieve Hood and bring him back to Ujiko. They would simply have no time to do at this point. His suspicions were immediately confirmed as the number five hero Mirko appeared on the scene and immediately jumped into action, causing Dabi to call Ujiko on him and Mustard. The black sludge appeared around the two villains right after.
"Don't die, Todoroki Enji!" Were the last words Dabi managed to uttered before he and Mustard were transported out of the place. Upon hearing the rage and hatred Dabi had in his voice voice when he uttered those words, Mustard shifted his gaze to him just a second before the black sludge transported them out of the streets of Kyushu City and saw the hatred and rage his fellow villain had in his eyes.
Mustard was slightly taken aback by this, despite knowing of Dabi's hatred of Endeavor from their interaction in the past. It made him realize Dabi's hatred of Endeavor must have been something beyond just him being considered an unworthy hero as he knew from his experience with his old school that this kind of hatred didn't come for a reason as simple as considering someone unworthy of a hero. Something on the back of his head was telling him there must have been more to it.
The teenage villain kept mostly to himself and left himself with his own thoughts, not exchanging many words with his fellow villain after he and Dabi found himself in a safe place in the form of an abandoned building away from the heroes who must have been looking for them right after following the incident with Hood where they would wait for whoever Dabi was trying to recruit into the League to come.
As he left himself with his thoughts, the matter of Dabi's behavior regarding Endeavor came into his mind again. He knew Dabi was not going to admit this to him as he knew how closed Dabi was to himself and how he was keeping his past to himself. He wasn't going to push him to share this information with this as angering Dabi was something he avoid and knew it would be hypocritical of him to push Dabi into giving him this information, coonsidering he was keeping his past and what drew him to become a villain from the League as well.
Y/N and Toga even defended him in this matter after Ujiko brought this up back in the laboratory as a way of silencing him. A slight smile formed on his face as he recalled how they defended him against Ujiko's words. Even though he would never admit this to them out loud, he appreciated to have Y/N, Toga and Origami as their friends as he didn't have much friends around his age in his life before. The fact that he thought Toga had a cute face is something he was also going to keep to himself.
Dabi looked out of the window on the house of the building both of them were in right now to look at the night sky with a thoughtful look on his face, "...Oh, so what was Snatch!"
Mustard pushed himself out of his thoughts and looked at Dabi questioningly, "What?"
"Don't you remember?" Dabi asked him in return, "Endeavor mention us killing some hero named Snatch when we confronted him. I just remembered who it was."
Mustard deadpanned, "You seriously had to think for a few hours to remember who was Snatch? How many other heroes have you killed with the rest of the League around you?"
Dabi looked at him questioningly, "What? You're still mad about what happened back in Kyushu City?"
"Do you really need to ask?" Mustard asked, "We lost an extremely powerful Nomu because of you. It held it's ground against boht Endeavor and Hawks and almost won! This Nomu could be something handy to us in the future because of how powerful it was! You just couldn't stop yourself from taunting Endeavor and instead focus on retrieving it?"
"Just calm the hell down." Dabi rolled his eyes at how angry Mustard seemed with him because of this, "Everything worked out exactly the way it was supposed to. I got everything I wanted from this operation. Now I just have to wait for the perfect opportunity to use it. Endeavor will get what's coming for him as soon as the right time will come."
"What the hell is your deal with Endeavor, anyway?" Mustard wanted to know as he continued to show Dabi how displeased he was by how things turned out with Hood, "First you get angry at me for comparing you to him and now we lost a powerful Nomu as you were too busy taunting him for some reason. Don't even give me the same crap as before as something tells me there's more to this. Did he do something to you or what?"
Dabi narrowed his eyes at him, "You'll find out in your time. Everyone will find out soon what kind of person their beloved number one hero is and see how he doesn't deserve to be called a hero. They will start asking themselves if they want someone like him to be their number one hero."
Mustard nodded at him, "Okay."
"What?" Dabi asked, "Ain't you gonna ask me what I mean by this?"
"No. Because I know you wouldn't tell me." Mustard shook his head, "I'm keeping a good portion of my past a secret from the least as well as I'm not comfortable talking about it, so I'm going to respect that you want to keep that a secret too."
Dabi nodded at him with a hint of appreciation on his face, "I see. You act like a smart brat from time to time, after all."
Mustard raised his brow at him, "Should I take this as a compliment?"
"What do you think?" Dabi replied. It was when someone someone entered the building he and Mustard were in, ending their conversation before Mustard could say anything in return to Dabi. Dabi shifted his gaze away from Mustard to him, "Oh, he's finally here. He sure as hell took his damn time today."
Mustard followed Dabi's example and shifted his gaze to the person who just entered the building they were in right now. He saw a man of average height with a slim and narrow build. He had feathery, ash blond hair that is swept messily backward, with some of the front tufts sticking up in arcs above his head. His eyes were golden-brown and rather triangular, with two small black triangles just below his tear ducts and in the top corners of his eyes, making them resemble those of a bird.
His eyes widened as soon as he laid his eyes on this man, having immediately recognized him as he pulled out his pistol and aimed it at him, "Don't move!"
"Relax. You don't need to shot at him." Dabi told him to put his gun down.
Mustard looked at him with a suprised look on his face, "What?"
The blond haired man looked at Dabi with a slight amusement on his face, "I see you brought one of your friends to the meeting with me this time. You must have felt lonely by being alone for most of the time, huh?"
Dabi rolled his eyes at him, "Friends? You got something wrong here. Me and this brat are not friends."
Mustard nodded in confirmation, "I was involuntary volunteered to go with him for whatever this recruitment mission of his was by third parties. If it was up for me, I would be with the rest of the League right now. Don't even think about asking me where they are right now and there is no way in hell I'm telling you this."
"Alright. I see." The blond haired man chuckled at the reaction he managed to get out of these two with his words. His expression became more serious right after as he set his eyes on Dabi, "Putting this matter aside, I think we should discuss what happened back in Kyushu with the Nomu that both of you have unleashed into it."
"I figured out you'd bring this up during this meeting." Dabi stated.
Mustard lowered his pistol and looked at Dabi questioningly, "Before this meeting with start, can I ask you what the hell is the number two hero doing here and why isn't he trying to get us locked up right now?"
-------
Y/N did his best to keep himself in the air with his Quirk as he did everything in his power to try to damage Gigantomachia in any way. A few days have passed since the League had their encounter with Gigantomachia and Doctor and made impressing Gigantomachia to the point of accepting Shigaraki as All For One's successor their new goal. If the h/c haired boy was honest with him, he doubted they made any progress in their goal over the course of those last few days.
Gigantomachia quickly showed everyone why All For One choose him as his bodyguard as the massive villain proved himself to be completely unstoppable over the course of the last few days, enduring all of the attacks directed at him by the members of the league like it was nothing. No matter what kind of attack the League had thrown at him, the massive villain took it like nothing and continued his pursuit of Shigaraki, having made him his main target.
Because of Gigantomachia targeting Shigaraki for all the time and him constantly trying to get his hands on the leader of the League of Villains, it allowed the rest of the League to try to come up with various ways when it came to approaching the massive villain. It was why Y/N was trying to keep himself in the air right now, despite feeling exhausted from fighting Gigantomachia for all this time as the League was putting one of their plans in motion right now.
"Shigaraki! Move out of the way! Your clone in ready! Hurry up, you idiot! You want to get crushed or what?" Twice shouted as Shigaraki immediately knew it was his time to move out of Gigantomachia's way. As soon as he rushed out of Gigantomachia's, his clone made himself known to the massive villain and Gigantomachia must have mistaken him for the real Shigaraki because he immediately grabbed him.
"You're weak! WEAK!" Gigantomachia bellowed those words on the top of the lungs as he crushed Shigaraki's clone into nothing in his hands. If the members of the League were honest with them, they had lost the count of how many times the enormous individual said those words since their first encounter.
Mr. Compress tossed a few marbles upwards towards Y/N as soon as Gigantomachia focused himself on Twice's clone of Shigaraki, "Y/N. Now!"
Y/N nodded to himself, knowing it was his time to do his part of the plan as Mr. Compress marbles reached him and were turned into large pieces of rubble created by Gigantomachia at some point of their fight in the blink of an eye. Using his right hand to grab the rubbles while using his left hand to keep himself in the air, he put his part of the part into action and tossed the pieces of rubble at the massive villain.
The pieces of rubble slammed into Gigantomachia's right after as Gigantomachia shifted his gaze to him for a second. He looked away from Y/N a second later, though as Y/N wasn't his target right now. Y/N didn't think much about him failing to get Gigantomachia to focus on him instead of Shigaraki as it wasn't his intention. His intention was giving Rappa enough time to allow him make his move.
Not wasting any time, Rappa pushed himself into charge towards Gigantomachia as soon as Y/N made his move against the massive villain. Upon reaching the edge of the small hill he had made him way to before he and the rest started putting this plan in motion, he leaped himself upwards towards Gigantomachia. A large excited smile grew on his face as he readied himself for his move against the massive villain, excited as ever to fight him.
Rappa wasn't alone in his pursuit of Gigantomachia, though. A few clones of him made by Twice a few minutes earlier were right behind him. His clones wasted no time and followed his example, leaping themselves towards the massive villain. Rappa began his assualt on Gigantomachia right after, punching him all over his massive body with a large smile on his face as managed to land on the massive villain back..
His clones wasted no time and put their part of the plan in action as well. They landed on various parts of Gigantomachia's upper body and began punching him with Rappa usual punching speed, all of them managing to land countless blows on Gigantomachia's body in the matter of seconds. As all of them happened, Origami rushed over to Mr. Compress with several items in her hand as she knew her time to make her move.
Growing annoyed by the ants punching him all over the upper part of his body, Gigantomachia focused himself on Rappa's clones all over his body and began running his hands across the upper parts of his body. Each of Rappa's clones were slammed off of upper parts of Gigantomachia's body like they were insects. All of Rappa's clones dissolved away into nothing as soon as they hit the ground. The only Rappa that was left after landing on the ground was the original rappa that immediately got up from the ground, eager to join the fight again.
He knew, however, that it wasn't his time to pounce on the Gigantomachia again because he knew what stage their plan was at right now. Once he and his clones started to make themselves known to Gigantomachia's upper body, Origami rushed over to Mr. Compress with several grenades she had created for this plan. As he and his clones continued to keep Gigantomachia occupied, Origami pulled the pin of each grenade she had created and handed them to Mr. Compress who afterwards turned them into marbles.
Upon turning the grandes into marbles, he tossed each marble upwards towards Y/N and Y/N made sure each marble found itself on Gigantomachia's back. After making every grenade created by Origami found itself on Gigantomachia's back in the form of marble, Mr. Compress waited until Rappa would find himself away from the massive villain's back and once it happened, he snapped his fingers.
It was when all of the marbles on Gigantomachia's back were turned into grenades in the blink of an eye and all of the grenades exploded just a second later, all of them having gotten their pins pulled off before getting turned into marbles. All of the grenades exploding at the same caused a massive explosion on Gigantomachia's back almost as if someone had launched a missile on him.
Everyone from their League covered their eyes for a few seconds, trying to protect their eyes from the massive explosion on Gigantomachia's back as all of them silently hoped it would do something to the massive friend. Upon uncovering their eyes, all of them were greeted with disappointment as Gigantomachia still stood as if nothing happened. He looked completely untounched and unbothered by the explosion.
The members of the League knew they couldn't allow their disappointment bother them for long as they knew Gigantomachia was not going to in his assault of them and his pursuit of Shigaraki. This quickly turned out to be true as Gigantomachia went after Shigaraki right after, causing the League to quickly act and start going after the massive villain with hopes of at least one of their attacks working on him.
The League continued their attacks for the next several attacks, going attempt after attempts, but all of their attempts were in vain in the end as none of their attacks did any damage to Gigantomachia. The only thing that stopped Gigantomachia in constant his pursuit of Shigaraki was him going to sleep after many, many hours of dealing with constant attacks from the League. Everyone from the League were happy the moment he went to sleep, knowing it was giving them a chance to take some well deserved rest.
Spinner let out a deep breath, trying to catch his breath as he sat down on the ground, "Finally he went to sleep! I'm so exhausted right now."
Toga nodded in agreement, "You're not the only one, Shuichi-kun."
Shigaraki looked at Spinner questioningly, "For how long we were fighting him?"
Spinner pulled out his phone and took a look at the time counter he had set up when Gigantomachia woke up, "Over 48 hours."
Shigaraki nodded at him, "I see."
"How long do you think will it before he will wake up again?" Origami asked, sitting between Toga and Y/N.
"If it takes him as long as last time, we've got a few hours of rest." Tengai replied.
"I'm setting up the time counter for it." Spinner said, clicking something on his phone, "Next time the giant goes to sleep, we'll know how much rest we'll have."
Origami nodded at them, "Alright."
"Do you think we made any progress over the course of the last few days?" Mr. Compress asked, working on something on his prosthetic arm with a screwdriver, "Personally I think we are as close to defeating him as we were when he first encountered him."
Tengai nodded in agreement, "I have to agree with you on this, Atsuhiro-kun. None of your attempts at attacking him worked. We haven't done any significant damage to him since our first encounter with him.
"I never thought I would person on whom my magnetic powers would not work." Magne said, having tried to use her magnetic powers on Gigantomachia to no effect on him.
Spinner looked at her questioningly, "Do you think it would work on Mt. Lady if you tried on her?"
"I was certain it would. After facing the big guy, however, I'm not so sure anymore." Magne gave him an honest answer.
Tengai put his hand on his chin in thought, "Perharps it has something to do with him having multiple Quirks on his body."
"Maybe. Maybe my power is just too weak for people like him." Magne nodded in agreement, "Either way, I don't think I will get the answer to this question anytime soon as I have no plans in facing Mt. Lady anytime soon." She sighed, "No matter what it will be, though, I can tell my power is unfortunely too weak for him."
Toga looked at Y/N questioningly right after, "What about you, Y/N?"
Y/N raised his brow, "What about me?"
"How are you doing?" Toga asked, "You've been through a few headaches during last two days."
Origami nodded in agreement at Toga's question, "Yes. You had take a break from time to time as your headaches started hitting you. How are you feeling again."
"I'm fine." Y/N reassured them, "It's been a long time since I went through some any headaches during one fighting session, but I'm fine now. You don't have to worry about me. Now that he went to sleep, I can rest from all of this."
"Speaking of your headches, it's the first time when I saw you having those since I joined the League." Rappa said, "I thought you trained your endurance to your Quirk enough."
"I thought as well." Y/N admitted, nodding at Rappa, "I must have been wrong, though as I never had to use it for so long before." He shifted his gaze to Spinner for a second, "We fought him for 48 hours, right?"
Spinner nodded in confirmation, "Yes."
Y/N nodded back at him and shifted his gaze back to Rappa, "Yes. I never go to use it for two days straight. It's probably because of it."
"I see." Rappa voiced his understanding, seeing a point in what Y/N was saying right now, "At least fighting Gigantomachia for this long will make a good endurance training for you. if this fight with him will continue for a long time, then I can see you being capable of using his Quirk for a day straight without getting a headache."
"Here's hoping." Y/N nodded at him, letting out an exhausted yawn as his head fell slightly. Unaware to him, it landed straight on Origami's right shoulder.
Origami's eyes widened, feeling a blush forming on her face as Y/N's head landed on her shoulder, "Y-Y/N?"
Y/N's eyes snapped open, having just realized what he did just did as he quickly lifted his head up from Origami. He looked at the dark green haired girl with an apologetic look on his face, blushing, "I-I'm sorry. I'm just tired! I didn't think what I was doing."
"I-It's okay." Origami told him, blushing as a good portion of the League smiled at the scene, "I-I'm feeling quite tired from all this fighting myself."
"If both of you are tired, then you can take a nap." Magne suggested, "Having some sleep before another fight with the big guy will do all of us some good."
"Unfortunely I don't think we would get enough sleep if the break from fighting him will last as long as it lasted the last time." Tengai pointed out, letting out a sigh.
"I have a perfect solution for this problem." Shigaraki said, causing everyone to look at him as those were the first words he uttered since Gigantomachi went to sleep, "The tactic of all of us fighting him at once will get us nowhere as this way all of us will exhaust ourselves long before we will get close to wiping out his HP. We will split ourselves into two equal parties. One party will fight him while the other one will be resting."
Y/N nodded at him, liking this plan, "Yeah. It seems like the best plan for this."
Spinner looked at Shigaraki questioningly, "What teams do you have in mind, Shigaraki?"
"I claim place on the team which will fight Gigantomachia right after he will wake up." Rappa claimed.
Shigaraki looked between the members of the League, trying to figure out who should join him when Gigantomachia will wake up from his nap in the next few hours from now on.
------
Spinner kept his arms crossed as he watched how how a large cloud of dust was created in the distance from where he stood. A month and a half have passed since their first encounter with Gigantomachia and from his point of view they were still nowhere near to winning him over and making him accept Shigaraki. He knew Gigantomachia's body was wielding a couple of Quirks in it, but he still didn't expect that he and the others would make such little progress in all this time. If he was honest with himself, he couldn't imagine himself becoming someone like Gigantomachia.
At least the last month and a half wasn't a complete waste of time because they managed to find out a few things about Gigantomachia. The massive villain would attack them for 48 hours and 44 minutes and take a three hour nap afterwards before starting to attack them again. Figuring out for how long Gigantomachia was attacking them helped when it came to planning out how a certain group would attack him during their next attempt.
Speaking of groups, they split into two of them, making sure to make them somewhat equal. First group consisted of Y/N, Mr. Compress, Twice and Rappa. The second group consisted of him, Origami, Toga, Magne and Tengai. Mustard and Dabi weren't in neither of those group as they weren't around to help them out with Gigantomachia because of them being busy with their own stuff. Mustard paid them a visit from time to time to see how they were doing but his stuff with Dabi made him unable of helping them with Gigantomachia.
Shigaraki wasn't in neither of those groups as well as he would always fight Gigantomachia with barely any breaks for rest, because Gigantomachia would always target him, no matter what. Shigaraki couldn't hide himself to take a longer break as well as Gigantomachia could always pinpoint where the leader of the League of Villains was. It must have been because of his senses being incredibly acute. They couldn't even counter him if they attacked him in his sleep.
Because of Shigaraki barely having any time to rest because of Gigantomachia always targeting him, Shigaraki had hardly gotten any sleep over the course of the last month and half and Spinner could tell just how sleep deprived his leader was because of this. Despite this, Shigaraki's smile and motivation never left him even for a second and Spinner felt how it caused his admiration for his leader to grow because of it.
There wasn't much he could say about him and the rest of the League as nothing too important happened to any of them. As for their financial situation, it still was far away from perfect. They received a minimum support from Doctor regarding their financial situation, but they still haven't received full support from him for all the obvious reasons. With that meager sum, Toga, Origami and Magne went on the girls days out to the shopping centre. Toga bought herself a duffel coat, Magne bought herself a brown leather jacket and Origami bought herself a cross shaped earrings.
"...I love this coat so much! It is so comfy! Plus, I can't even find the right words to describe how cute it is." He was pushed out of his thoughts as Toga commented how she felt about her new duffel coat. He looked away from the area where Shigaraki, Y/N, Twice, Mr. Compress and Rappa were fighting Gigantomachia right now and shifted his attention to her. He saw her talking with Magne and Origami as Tengai was close to them, doing something with his polaroid.
Magne smiled at her, "I'm glad you liked my suggestion after I brought this coat to you, Toga-chan! I knew it would fit you well the moment I laid my eyes on it."
Toga smiled back at her, nodding her head, "Just like Origami-chan recommended your leather jacket you?"
"Yup." Magne nodded back at her and she shfited her gaze to Origami, now smilling at her, "Thanks once again for telling me I should this jacket, Origami-chan. It works way better than I expected when it comes to making me warm, especially since it's December now."
Origami blushed slightly at the compliment, "It's nothing. I just repeated what I managed to overhear from the customers I walked past when we were in the store..."
Magne chuckled at Origami's reaction, "If you say so, Origami-chan."
Toga leaned closer to Origami with a curious look on her face, "What about your earrings? Did Y/N told you anything about it? Did he liked it?"
Origami's blush slightly grew as she played with her right earrings, "H-He said I looked nice with it."
"Great. Our plan of getting an earrings worked exactly like it was supposed to." Toga smiled widely and winked at Origami. She looked at her questioningly right after, "What happened after? What did you do?"
"I thanked him for the compliment. That's all." Origami explained. She could hear there was something off about Y/N's tone when he complimented her about her earrings. She didn't do anything and brushed it off as her ears playing a trick on her, though.
Toga nodded at her, hoping she would hear something else from Origami, "I see."
"What about you, Origami-chan?" Magne asked, "Do you regret getting your ear pierced?"
Origami shook her head, "Not really. At first, they bothered me a bit, probably because I never had earrings before, but I stopped paying attention to it as the time went on. You were right about earrings fitting me, after all."
Magne smiled at her, "Glad to see you're agreeing with me about it. After I saw you with your ear pierced for the first time, I knew immediately knew I was right about something like this fitting you. Especially when you're wearing your villain costume."
Toga shifted her gaze to Tengai, smilling at the conversation she was having right now with her friends, "Tengai-kun! Can you take a picture of us together?"
"Of course." Tengai nodded as he picked up his polaroid and pointed it towards them, "Just tell me when you'll be ready."
"Alright." Toga replied as she shifted her gaze back to Origami and Magne, "Come on, you two! Let's pose to the picture together."
Magne and Origami nodded at Toga, both of them smilling at how eager she was to take this picture. Just like she always was whenever she would ask him to take a picture of her with someone else. The pose all three of them did to the picture wasn't anything extraordinary. Magne wrapped her arms around Toga and Origami as Toga did a thumbs up to the camera, both of them smilling. Origami just smiled towards the camera, not doing any pose.
Spinner smiled to himself at the scene between Magne, Origami, Toga and Tengai. Tengai had really made a good use of his polaroid camera ever since he had gotten his hands on it. He shifted his attention back towards where Shigaraki, Y/N, Twice, Mr. Compress and Rappa were fighting Gigantomachia right after. It raised one question in his mind as he asked himself how many times they had left until Gigantomachia will take his nap. He reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone, checking the timer he had set up after Gigantomachia woke up from his most recent nap.
"How much time do they have left, Shuichi-kun?" Magne asked him, pulling him away from his phone.
Spinner turned around to look at her, "About an hour."
Magne nodded in understanding, "Just as I thought. I thought it was around this time Gigantomachia woke up two days ago."
"Yeah." Spinner replied as he shifted his gaze away from back towards where Shigaraki, Y/N, Twice, Mr. Compress and Rappa right now.
"Why don't you take sit down, Spinner-kun?" Origami asked, "You've been standing there for a while right now."
Spinner shook his head at her suggestion, "No. I'll be fine."
"Come on, Shuichi-kun. You know you need to be as much rested as possible after Gigantomachia will wake up for your shift in the next few hours." Magne told him, "You know you don't need to worry about Tomura-kun or Y/N. I'm sure they'll be fine."
"Alright. I'll sit down." Spinner complied, knowing Magne was right as he walked to them and took his seat next to Tengai, "I can already tell how much tired all of them will be once Gigantomachia will take his nap. Except maybe Rappa. This guy is never tired."
"You'd be suprised, Iguichi-kun." Tengai told him, "I've never seen Rappa as tired as he is whenever he comes back from his fights with Gigantomachia."
"What do you mean?" Spinner asked as Magne, Toga and Origami looked questioningly at the former yakuza member, wondering about it as well, "He always looks perfectly normal to me."
"It's because you don't know him for as long as I do." Tengai explained, "Believe me. If you knew him for as long as I do and saw him in various states of exhaustion, you'd see how tired he is after his every fight with Gigantomachia."
"Alright. I'll have to trust your word on this." Spinner replied as Magne, Toga and Origami silently nodded in agreement. He set his eyes back on his phone again right after and turned on the game he liked to play in his free time.
"What'cha playing, Shuichi-kun?" Toga asked out of curiosity.
"A gacha game. I don't think you will you know it." Spinner replied.
Toga raised her brow at him, "What gacha? Girls' Frontline or Arknights or Azur Lane? Or maybe something else."
"Girls' Frontline..." Spinner paused for a second upon realizing something, "Wait a second? You know about those games?"
Toga nodded in confirmation, "Yup. I may not be into video games as much as you or Tomura-kun or Y/N are but I play them from time to time to kill some time."
"I see." Spinner nodded in understanding. He looked at Toga questioningly right after, feeling like there was something he had to ask her. This question was on his mind for a while now. Especially since she was pretty open about having joined the League because of Stain, just like him, as well shortly after he joined this origanization, "You joined the League because of Stain, right? There's no a trace of him in our organization anymore. Why are you still here?"
Toga blushed heavily, "I'm happy to be here for as long as I can fall in love, like I did with Stain, Deku and Ochaco a lot and make new friends who accept me."
"Such free spirit." Spinner said to himself internally, smilling slightly at Toga's answer. It was almost of the things he admited about her. He didn't have to ask Origami about it as he knew her reason for being here must have been the same as Y/N's. He didn't ask Magne about it either as he could already tell what was Magne's reason for being in the League as well. It was when another person popped into his mind, "What about Mustard? Do you know anything about his motivation of becoming a villain and joining the League?"
"No." Magne shook her head.
"Kataoka-kun told us about something back when we were laying low with him after Camino Ward after we learned about him wanting to become a Pro-Hero but he didn't go into details about it as he didn't feel comfortable talking about this." Origami replied as Toga nodded in confirmation, "We didn't want to push it further as we didn't want to force him into saying this."
Toga sighed, "I really wish Hiroto-kun was here right now. I can already imagine the comments he'd make when we would be fighting Gigantomachia."
"I see. I will have to ask him about it the next time I'll see him." Spinner nodded at them, making a mental note to ask Mustard about it.
He shifted his attention back to the game on his phone, beginning to play it to kill the remaining time before Gigantomachia's next nap. As he continued to play his game, the rest of the League occupied themselves with their own thing as they waited for the same thing to happen. Magne, Origami and Toga started one of their usual conversations with each other as Tengai went back to whatever he was doing with his polaroid before Toga asked him to take a picture of her, Magne and Origami.
------
The last hour of Shigaraki, Y/N, Mr. Compress, Twice and Rappa's fight with Gigantomachia's had come to an end and Gigantomachia punctually he began another of his short naps. After seeing Gigantomachia fall asleep, Shigaraki, Y/N, Mr. Compress, Twice and Rappa knew there was nothing more they could do about him and made their way to the rest of the League where they would take their break from fighting him. Or rather Y/N, Mr. Compress, Twice and Rappa would take their break as Shigaraki knew Gigantomachia won't allow him to take much rest from fighting him.
Upon making making his way to the rest of the League with Shigaraki, Mr. Compress, Twice and Rappa, Y/N sat down on a rock and let out a deep breath, allowing himself to catch his break after fighting with Gigantomachia for over two days. No matter how much time passed since their first encounter with Gigantomachia passed, fighting the massive villain was as much of a problem as it was month and a half ago.
At least the last month and a half served as a good skills training. Because of him fighting Gigantomachia for about two days whenever his turn to fight him came, he experience many headaches throughout those last month and a half. Far more headaches than he had experienced since the USJ. He didn't complain about it, though as he knew it only came in his benefit because of him extending his Quirk endurance far better than a normal training session would do.
"Hey." A familiar female voice sounded in front of him as he looked up and saw Origami standing in front of him. The dark green haired girl was holding a water bottle out ot him, "Here. I'm sure you're thirsty."
"Yeah. Thanks." Y/N smiled up at her gratefully as he took the water bottle from her. Not wasting any time, he quickly unscrewed the bottle and took a sip from it.
"What happened with Gigantomachia?" Origami asked out of curiosity, "Did you have any luck with him during this turn?"
"He has a lot of openings when he's in the air." Y/N replied, "Once we will come up with a how to damage him, we can put this fact to good use."
Origami nodded at him, smilling slightly at the information, "Good to know we're learning about him as the time passes."
Y/N nodded back at her, "Yeah."
Mr. Compress adjusted his hat, looking towards the where Gigantomachia was sleeping right now as his clothes looked heavilly torn up from all this fighting with Gigantomachia, "When did that monster last eat?"
"I don't think he had a meal since we started fighting him." Tengai gave his thoughts on this as he walked over Shigaraki, Y/N, Twice, Mr. Compress and Rappa with a medkit in his hands just in case if any of them got any wounds during this fight, "Perharps one of his Quirks allows him to go for a long time without any meals."
Mr. Compress nodded in agreement, "Maybe. This seems possible."
Tengai looked around everyone around him questioningly, "Has any of you gotten hurt during this fight with Gigantomachia? Does any of you need patching up?"
"I'll be fine." Y/N nodded at him, "Thanks for asking."
"Other than my ruined prosthetic I should be okay as well." Mr. Compress replied, having completely lost the hand part of his prosthetic
"I'm fine." Twice gave him a thumbs up, "I'm going to die soon! Give me a proper dressing."
"I'm fine. I just wish our time with this guy hadn't run out so quickly." Rappa gave Tengai his own answer right after Twice gave his.
"Quickly?" Mr. Compress asked him, "I'd describe my experience of fighting him anything than quick!"
Magne smiled slightly at Rappa, "Your enjoyment out of fighting this guy doesn't seem to run out, Rappa. Despite us fighting him for over a month now."
Rappa nodded at her, "You know it. Fighting this guy is one of the best expriences in my life."
Tengai shifted his gaze to Shigaraki, "What about you Master Shigaraki? You've been quiet."
"Yeah." Toga nodded and shifted her gaze to Shigaraki, "Are you still alive, Tomura-kun?"
Shigaraki looked up at them, revealing to have a smile on his face right now, "Yeah. The big dumb bastard is slowing down a lot, I'm way closer now than when this whole saga started. I'll bring that overgrown gorilla to his knees, sooner or later."
"His determined gaze. It's like a young boy chasing his dreams." Spinner thought to himself as he looked at Shigaraki with slight admiration on his face. It was when a fart noise echoed across the area as Twice was getting a phone call from someone.
"You really need to change this ringtone, darling." Magne told Twice as Twice reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone.
"It's Giran." Twice revealed who was calling him upon checking who it was, "Wonder where he's been."
Y/N looked suprised by who was calling Twice, "Giran? We haven't heard from him in a while."
Mr. Compress nodded in agreement at Y/N's words and showed off his prosthetic to Twice, "I've been calling Giran and gotten nothing but radio silence. Ask him if we have damage insurance."
"This actually a very good question." Origami agreed with Mr. Compress question, "With how rusty my prosthetic is becoming, I'm worrying it will destroyed sooner or later."
"That guy cares about me more than anyone ever has, he got me into the League you know. A real mensch that one." Twice told him, accepting Giran's call as he lifted up his phone to his ear and put it next to it, "Why the hell haven't you been answering Compress' calls? He and Origami-chan have some important question for you! You're the absolute worst man!"
"Oops that would be our fault sorry." A modified high-pitched voice sounded on the other side of the phone, confusing Twice. Twice moved the phone away from him with a confused expression hidden underneath his mask, allowing everyone around him to hear this voice, "Don't be mad at him. Don't tell me; you're Bubaigawara Jin a villain known as Twice right?"
"The hell?" Magne voiced her confusion.
"A voice changer." Mr. Compress stated.
Origami looked at Twice questioningly, "Who is this?"
"You heard her. Who are you? Where's Giran?" Twice demanded to know from the person on the other side of the phone
"Nevermind that, turn on the news if you can." The voice on the other side of the phone replied as the members of the League exchanged glances with each other. Not having any other choice, Mr. Compress pulled out his phone and turned on the news. He turned his phone, wanting everyone to take a look at the news as everyone gathered in front of his phone, setting their attention on the news broadcast.
"...Our top story following yesterday's events another finger has been found." A male reporter said as soon as the new broadcast was shown to the League.
"Finger?" Twice asked as Y/N and Origami exchanged glances with each other.
"...Earlier a severed finger was found near the home of the Shie Hassaikai boss, then at Hosu City terminal, on the metropolitan expressway, and at ground zero in Kamino Ward all within the last 3 days and now a pinky finger turns up in central Fukuoka." The reporter went further into his explanation as the members of the League immediately put one and one together the more locations he revealed.
"Wait a second..." Magne said as the realization of what all those places had in common.
"Those are all places we've been active lately." Y/N stated.
"Who the hell are you?" Twice demanded to know from the person on the other side of the phone.
"I'm the Grand Commander of the Meta Liberation Army, the name's Re-Destro." The voice on the other side of the phone introduced himself as Re-Destro.
"First the Yakuza now the Liberation Army, all you has-beens trying to make a comeback." Shigaraki stated, "Hear you've been selling lots of books lately. You wanna get in on the trend while the getting's good?"
"Think again. We're the ones who started the trend." Re-Destro pointed out him.
"What do you want with Giran?" Twice wanted to know, "You better not hurt him anymore or you're toast!"
"I've got your broker right here and he's still alive of course." Re-Destro replied.
"How can you know you're keeping Giran alive?" Y/N asked. As much as he didn't want Giran to be deceased, he knew there was a possibility this Re-Destro could be lying to him right now.
"Are you taking me for a liar, Mr. L/N?" Re-Destro asked.
"I'm simply worried for an associate of mine." Y/N pointed out, "Give you any proof that he is still alive."
"Yeah! Give us a proof!" Twice nodded in agreement, "We don't need proof!"
There was a silence for a few seconds until Giran's voice echoed from Twice's phone, "Hello, Y/N. Hello, Twice. Glad to see you're worrying about me so much."
"He's really alive!" Twice sounded relieved by the sound of Giran's voice. Whoever this Re-Destro was must have turned off the modifications of the voice as Giran's real voice sounded in his phone, "Don't worry Giran! We will get you out of there alive!"
"...You have your proof Mr. L/N. Are you satisified with it?" Re-Destro's modified voice once echoed from Twice's phone.
"Bastard! Give Giran back!" Twice told him in a a slightly angered tone, "Keep him to yourself! We don't need him!"
"Can I ask you what do you want from us?" Origami asked.
"Of course you can, Weaponsmith. I was about to get to this." Re-Destro replied, "Our objective is to liberate all metahumans, to demolish the existing framework and rebuild a world where people can be themselves. Where they can use their abilities to their fullest capacity."
"Interesting, I don't see why we should oppose that." Mr. Compress stated.
"Is he trying to exploit our name like the Yakuza?" Toga asked.
"I wouldn't be suprised if their intention was the same as Overhaul." Tengai voiced his thoughts on the matter as Rappa nodded in agreement.
"Release the broker and we'll get back to you soon. We're busy now." Shigaraki told Re-Destro, "I'll have myself and Y/N hear about your little revolution club once our task here's complete."
"While you're taking a breather why not just hear me out?" Re-Destro asked, "I'm not gonna release my hostage now because you're not calling the shots and you're friend has told me what a tight-knit group you are. Mr. L/N asking me to confirm Giran's status to you has only proven those words about you."
Y/N narrowed his eyes into a small glare, directing it towards the person on the other side of Twice's phone as Origami put her hand on his shoulder. He looked at her for a second and both of them exchanged glances and nods with each other before focusing their attention back on Twice's phone.
"...Speaking of which, your broker is an admirable man, takes great pride in his work" Re-Destro continued his explanation, "I imagined he's determined to remain hidden in the shadows. Ever careful to avoid the prying eyes of heroes and beliefs. Sadly, he never thought someone would be lurking in those same shadows, waiting to pounce. Still I commend him, he had the foresight to delete his client list before we struck. Not only that but he didn't so much as wince when we started taking his fingers, nor did he give you up. But as for that client list, we were able to recover it. I must praise his resistance, futile though it was."
"Of course he wouldn't give up! Giran is the best! Why do you think he ended up going this far in his job of a broker?" Twice asked, "Giran is the worst! Couldn't you just finish him off?"
"...We liberation warriors have worked hard preparing for years to enact the coming events. We've endured for generations, biding our time, spreading our roots far and wide. Revolution club? I don't like jokes made in poor taste. I have 116,516 hidden warriors, and we're lying in wait ever ready to take action." Re-Destro ignored Twice's words and allowed himself to finish his explanation.
"This guy must be bluffing." Spinner stated, voicing his thoughts on this situation.
"Niigata huh? How's the weather there deep in those mountains?" Re-Destro asked.
"Huh?" Spinner's eyes widened at Re-Destro telling him their exact location as Twice became alarmed by it and tossed his phone away from them.
"Too late I'm afraid. We're watching you right now thanks to our satellite." Re-Destro continued as soon as Twice's phone hit the ground, "Go where you will but we'll always find you, we're always watching the League Of Villains. Endeavor, Hawks, Edgeshot, Miruko, and Crust. One quick call and they'll drop everything and have you surrounded."
"I do appreciate the advanced warning, now what do you want from us?" Shigaraki wanted to know.
"I insist the leader of this revolution bare the name Destro. Your organization has become too well known. Therefore, we shall crush you." Re-Destro responded. From the sound of his voice, everyone could tell he was smilling when he uttered those words, "Thus signaling the revival of the Liberation Army. The fingers prove our resolve, let's not draw this little talk out with pointless bargaining. The war's begun. To liberate metahumans from all tyranny. Next you will make your way to Deika City and I eat you within the hour. That's your only hope of freeing your friend Giran. Then you must make your choice. Will you stand against us and be destroyed or do nothing and be captured by the heroes? You must decide Shigaraki."
Mr. Compress looked up towards the sky, "He wants us in Aichi within the hour? And he's tracking our every move from space?"
Tengai sighed, "If that's all true then it feels like checkmate."
"Unfortunely I think you're right." Mr. Compress agreed with him, letting out a sigh.
"What are we going to do now?" Magne asked.
"We should bring the fight straight to them." Rappa voiced his thoughts. His mind on this matter didn't suprise anyone to say the least.
Origami rubbed the back of her head with an uncertain look on her face as she didn't know what to say about their situation, "To be honest I don't know what to do in this situation. I feel like we're in trouble, no matter what we choose to do..."
"Do we even have to discuss this?" Twice asked, looking around the rest of the League, "That intestine-like scarf. Those round sunglasses! Who else has such terrible taste?!"
Y/N stepped closer to Twice and put his hand on his shoulder, "Calm down, Twice. We can't just rush into where they are keeping Giran without any plan. Especially with some of us tired from our fight with Gigantomachia."
Magne nodded in agreement, "He's right, sweetheart. Calm just and we'll try to discuss this calmly."
"How am I supposed to be calm when one of my friends is in danger?" Twice asked them, "Giran saved me, gave me somewhere to belong so we have to go save him like right now! He gave an outcast like me a place to belong."
"Calm down, Twice." Shigaraki said as he got up into a standing position and stepped closer to the rest, "I've think I got an idea."
"Really. What kind?" Twice asked him in a hopeful tone, "I bet it's shitty!"
"Y/N. Turn on your earpiece." Shigaraki said, touching his earpiece as Y/N nodded at him and followed his example, "Doctor? Did you catch all that?"
"Yes." Ujiko replied just a second later, "I've been tuned into villain radio and I'm shocked that the Meta Liberation Army is back, the waves you've been making in the underworld have drenched up some real darkness."
"How long do we have until the big baby wakes up?" Shigaraki asked.
Spinner pulled out his phone and checked the timer he had set up once Gigantomachia began his nap, "If left undisturbed he should wake up in 2 hours and 35 minutes give or take."
"Perfect." A smile began to form on Shigaraki's face, "Doctor. What about Dabi and Mustard. Where are they?"
"At the moment, just outside the border between Mie and Shiga." Ujiko responded.
"That's a great place to be." Shigaraki's smile grew wider, "I'll leave the transport to you. Let's go."
Spinner looked at Shigaraki with a suprised look on his face, "You're taking the bait? What if they really have 110,000 people? We'll be dead!"
"I don't like this as much as you, Spinner." Y/N admitted, "But I don't think we have any other choice right now. Given the options we have been given by Re-Destro, I'm gonna have to go with the Liberation Army. I don't think any of us have enough energy to go against all the top heroes in this country. Besides, we have to save Giran. We do not abandon our comrades when we have a chance to save them."
Twice immediately nodded in agreement, "Y/N is right! We do not abandon one of our own!"
"I think I found a perfect way how to solve both of those quests." Shigaraki said, his smile refusing to leave his face as he pointed towards where Gigantomachia was sleeping right now, "The giant's not invincible, after a month and a half of fighting him, it's clear to me. But he does have an excessive HP. And no matter where I am, they'll sniff me out and hunt me down."
Origami looked at Shigaraki with a thoughtful look on her face as she started to realize what was Shigaraki's plan, "Shigaraki? Are you planning to lead Gigantomachia towards the Liberation Army?"
"This is exactly what I am planning to do." Shigaraki nodded in confirmation as he pounded his hand with his fist, "We're going to send Gigantomachia right into the frame and then face all those fighters, battling those revolutionaries will wear that meathead down."
It was when Ujiko's laughter rang through Shigaraki and Y/N's ears, "Hohoho! How sneaky and what will you do if something goes wrong in this plan of yours?"
"Then, we'll just die. Simple as that." Shigaraki pointed out, deadpanning at Ujiko's question.
"We're really doing this?" Spinner wanted to be sure.
Shigaraki nodded at him and his smile went back to his face in an instant, "That's what I said."
"Just like I said, Spinner, I don't think we have any other choice." Y/N added as Shigaraki glanced at him. Both of them exchanged glances with each other and nodded, convinced about going along with this option.
"Okay. Let's do this." Origami nodded. She felt herself grow nervous on the inside at the thought of facing the Liberation Army, especially with her prosthetic arm becoming as rusty as it was, but she knew it was something that had to be done.
"I'm getting pumped just thinking about facing them!" Rappa voiced his willingness to face the Meta Liberation Army as he pumped his fist to clarify his point. This fight along with the fight with Gigantomachia was his chance at getting the fight that Y/N had promised him and he was not going to let it go to waste. Once again, the League was not suprised by his opinion on this matter.
"I suppose we have no other choice." Tengai stated, letting everyone know he was leaning towards Shigaraki's idea.
Magne nodded in agreement, "Let's show those assholes what happens when you mess with one of our own."
Shigaraki smiled to himself as more and more members of the League voiced with their willingness to face the Meta Liberation Army as he looked out at the open field in front of them with a smile on his face, "I'm going to crush them."
------
I'm so happy I managed to get this chapter before the end of this month. The next chapter will show the fight in Deika City and I can't wait to write this. I can already tell it will be quite a long chapter.
After all this time, we finally got the eight episode of season 1 and I can tell it was a fun episode. Beelzebub was such a fun character and the fact that Vivzie actually got Ke$ha to guest star in this is as her honestly awesome. I like how she wasn't made into an antagonist and was instead shown to be a nice outgoing person. It was a welcome change of a pace. The relationship between her and Vortex was sweet. The fact how Loona was calling Blitzo her dad throughout the episode was sweet as well.
