Conversation
Days have passed since Y/N and Alice parted ways with Lady Nagant and not much happened during those few days to them as both of them focused themselves on doing their usual daily routine. Their days mostly consisted of them starting off the day with Y/N training Alice, improving her growing fighting abilities and then coming into contact with the surviving members of the Paranormal Liberation Front, before finishing the day off by playing sudoku together before going to sleep.
All of it felt different to them, though. Even if their days mostly consisted of them doing the same activities, All of it felt so different because they didn't had Lady Nagant with them anymore. Her being no longer in their group really showed and both Y/N and Alice found themselves missing her. Having taken a liking in the older woman during their time with them, both of them really missed having her around now.
Lack of Lady Nagant in their group changed Alice's training routine a bit as well. With her no longer being in their group, Alice had to continue her training all by herself by mastering the skills she had received with Lady Nagant's help. It really made Y/N wish he had accepted Mustard's offer of showing him a thing or two about guns when he was training Origami. This way he would at least have a way of helping Alice a bit in her gun training.
Y/Nkept his cold eyes on the villain he was keeping lifted up above the ground right now, having stumbled upon a group of escaped convicts attacking one of the civilian created settlements and decided to step in, like he did whenever he stumbled upon a scene like this. Alice prepared herself after seeing this scene as well, keeping herself in the background with her camera pointed at the unsuspecting Y/N and the villain who pleaded him for mercy.
"You should have thought about this before you disgusted even people who were supposed to be on your side." Y/N told the pleading villain, having none of his explanations and breaking his neck with a move of his hand. The villain went numb in an instant and Y/N released his now lifeless body from his grasp. The villain landed on the ground like a ton of bricks a second later.
Alice nodded to herself with a satisfied look on her face, gladdened she managed to record another footage of Y/N helping civilians by taking care of people who should be on the same side as him and yet, he disagreed with their way of doing things. When she will release those videos into the world, she was certain it would help some people see Y/N for what he truly is underneath everything the media are trying to potray him as.
"You alright?" She focused herself on Y/N again, keeping herself away from her thoughts as Y/N asked a man who had just walked out of the safe zone. The man was not someone familiar to them. He was a heteromorph who looked like he had features of a bee. Alice instantly noticed the look this man he had on his face. He was not happy to see Y/N. He wasn't happy to see him at all.
"What are you doing here?" The man demanded to know from him with an obvious hostility in his voice as him not being happy to see Y/N as Cyborg stepped a bit closer to Y/N, having been keeping himself close to Y/N . The volume of the voice of this man alerted him and left him on guard.
"I overheard some trouble happening and I saw this man threatening you and trying to break in." Y/N replied as Alice raised her brow at the scene. She already saw people look at Y/N with disgust earlier. However, this was the first time someone openly expressed it in their tone when they spoke with him. He closed her camera, preparing herself to step out if she'll have to. The h/c haired boy pointed at the deceased man on the ground, "I thought I should help you as this man..."
"Really? You wanted to help us? Why does it matter to you?" The man asked cut him off as Alice tensed up a bit where she stood, looking like she was ready to step in now.
Y/N looked at him with a suprised look on his face, "What do you mean?"
"What? Do you want me to believe some insane mass murdering terrorist like you had a change of heart and suddenly decided he will start helping people?" The man spat out his words with anger growing more evident. His voice became filled with disgust when he called Y/N a mass murdering terrorist as well. Y/N seemed slightly taken aback by his words.
Alice narrowed her eyes at the man as she pushed herself into walk out of her hideout and stepped closer to Y/N and the unknown man, "Hey. What's your problem?"
The man shifted his gaze from Y/N to Alice and glared at him, "I'm merely calling him what he is."
"After he helped you? I would try to at least express some gratitude for it." Alice glared back at him as Cyborg looked like he was ready to attack the man. Y/N held his hand out a bit to his Nomu a bit, though as a way of telling him to stay down.
"What? What do you want me to do, woman? Fall on my knees and thank him for saving him from someone who he freed from prison in the first place?" The man retorted to Alice's remark and shifted his attention back to Y/N. He had some things he had to say this boy and intended to make sure he would hear everything, "You and your little group keep claiming you want to create a better world and yet you are doing absolutely fucking everything not to make it a reality. You had a fucking giant go through our cities..."
"We had no control over him..." Y/N tried to defend himself by pointing out to this man.
"You had no control over him?! He was your own fucking weapon and your fucking responsibility! You should be able to control him!" The man angrily cut him off as he had no interest in listening the excuse from Y/N because he knew exactly what it was going to be, "Do you seriously expect me or any of the people in our country to believe you want to create a better world if you were incompetent enough not to have your own weapon under control? Or maybe you never cared about the damage he would cause if he was unleashed because you came up you will use the warning you gave an excuse for this crap?!"
The man wasn't done with Y/N and went further into his words, "What about the prison breakouts you caused? You are going to tell me you had no control over it even if you participated in the Tartarus attack yourself? You clearly must have supported it if you participated in it yourself! What the fuck were you thinking by releasing all those dangerous criminals into the world? How do you see it as helping everyone?! How is having those murderers and rapists out in the world helping anyone?! You are just proving everyone you don't care about fixing stuff, despite claiming you do by doing stuff like this."
"You know the worst part about this?!" The man continued, intending to keep going until he will fully voice everything he had to say to Y/N. He pointed at his heteromorph features, "I would have actually supported you! I agree with your ideals! I want hetermorphs such as myself to have better rights! But you of course had to fucking ruin everything by destroying an entire country and becoming a bunch of mass murdering terrorists! You claim yourself to be our saviors while you are nothing but a bunch of mass murdering psychos!"
"..." Y/N stayed silent. The silence that followed Y/N's lack of response only fueled the man's rage. His breath came in short, angry bursts. His body trembled as he took a step closer, fists clenched. For a moment, it seemed like he might punch Y/N . However the view of Alice and Cyborg standing by Y/N's sides stopped him from escalating his lashout to physical violence. He instead, he simply glared at him, eyes burning with a mix of hatred and rage.
"You have nothing to say for yourself, do you? No defense, no explanation, no apology. Just silence. That's all you've got after everything you've done." The man hissed, his voice dropping to a dangerous low, "Are you even used to people doing something else but praising you? When someone critizes you, you just shut down because you don't know what to say."
"..." Y/N remained silent as he looked up at the man, meeting his gaze. His face was still unreadable, though.
"Holy fucking shit! Just fucking saying somethig! Face something you did for once, you fucking brat!" The man snapped at him in an attempt of getting any reaction out of him. In an attempt of having him say anything, "You may think you are in the right for all the time because you suffered and want to fix this and yet, you ignored all the people who may or not me affected by your actions?! Have you ever thought how many people were affected negatively by your actions? Have you thought how your family be treated by your actions."
Y/N raised his brow as he began to say, "Why should I..."
"I'm not talking about your parents." The man cut him off, "What about your aunt? The aunt who actually helped you in exposing your parents? Have you ever thought how her life may have been affected by your actions?!"
"No..." Y/N admitted. It was true. He couldn't remember the last time he thought about his aunt. It must have been a long time. Before they had even came into contact with Overhaul and his yakuza for the first time. She never crossed his mind again after that. Him having never met her in person must have played a part in this.
"Exactly! You claimed you care about other people in your confession video and you do absolutely jack shit to prove it!" The man pointed the finger directly at Y/N's face again as some people came out from the safe zone behind him.
Y/N glanced behind the man and set his eyes on all the people standing behind him. All of them looked at Y/N, Alice and Cyborg with disgust evident on their faces, not wanting him there as much as this man didn't want them, especially Y/N, here. He shifted his gaze to Alice and Cyborg and motioned to them to follow him. The group turned away from the man a second later and started to walk off, angering him further.
The man glared at Y/N upon seeing the h/c haired boy turn away from him, "Of course. Walk away instead of facing the consequences of your actions. This is all you can do it seems. All you expect from other people is people who constantly praise you and say yes to everything you do."
Y/N stopped in his tracks and looked over his shoulder at the man, "No. I'm walking away because you're right. I don't have any excuses. I can't justify all the destruction caused by me. The innocent people who were hurt because they were failed to be evacuated during Machia's rampage even after my warning. I can't bring them back or undo the hurt done to them. And I won't deny my responsibility for what happened." He paused for a second, clencing his hand and his voice became slightly shaky, "But you're wrong if you think I don't care."
The man scoffed with his anger still evident, "Don't care? How the hell can you even say that after everything you've caused? After all the lives you've ruined? You claim to want justice and a better world, but all you've done is create chaos and destruction."
Y/N clenched his teeth, feeling frustation go through his body. He took a breath, "Do you think this is what I wanted? Do you think I wanted to turn to violence when me and my comrades were planning everything out? There was a good reason why our original plan was to make everything as clean as possible. Everything I did, every choice was to change a world that refuses to change by any other means. But everything got out of control the moment we got attacked..."
The man crossed his arms, "Got out of control? You fucking destroyed everything!"
"You think I don't know what?" Y/N snapped with his calm behavior cracking a bit, "You think I didn't know what before our conversation! I know I fucked everything up and I fucking hate myself for it! More than I ever hated myself in my life! I can't even look at the mirror nowadays without feeling nothing but disgust and wanting to punch myself in the face!"
"Good. Because this is what you deserve." For once the man looked pleased with what Y/N did, "I wanted to believe in you. I wanted to believe in the heteromorphs cause you and your comrades are creating with Spinner like many other heteromorphs do. I wanted to believe that someone was fighting for people like us. But all you've done is make things worse."
"I know and I'm sorry for whatever harm my actions may have caused you. You don't need to tell me sorry is not enough. I know it isn't." Y/N replied, having prevented the man from saying the kind of response he'd expect from him with his expression changing a bit. For once, he showed genuine sorrow and regret of how badly things had escalated.
Y/N pushed himself into walk again a second later, wanting to distance himself from this man and walked past Alice and Cyborg who stopped in their tracks as well after they heard him stop to answer whatever this man had to say to him. Alice looked at him with a worried look on her face and shot the man a glare before following Y/N. Cyborg followed as well, knowing Y/N wouldn't have wanted him to attack those people. Even if the Nomu was inching to do it.
"You ain't gonna do anything about the way he spoke to you?" Alice asked Y/N after they found themselves in a good distance away from the man in a plan where he wouldn't overhear their conversation.
Y/N shook his head, "No. He is entitled to his own opinion. So is everyone else. I know I'm not perfect. In fact, I'm far from it. I admitted it myself to him. But at least I'm not pretending that I'm flawless. Unlike some people."
"I see." Alice replied with a look of understanding on her face, knowing what Y/N meant by his words and now understanding why he acted the way he did, "Do you want to talk about what just happened?"
"Not now. Maybe later." Y/N once again shook his head. He wanted to be left with his thoughts for now as he found himself thinking back to what the man had said to him, "Let's just get away from here for now. For all we know, they can have some communication device there and they could have called the authorities on us."
"Alright..." Alice nodded at him with her look of understanding remaining on her face.
"Y/N?" A male voice called out for Y/N a second later. Y/N, Alice and Cyborg became alerted by it even if Y/N and even Cyborg felt like this voice was similiar to them in some way. All of them looked in the direction of the voice and saw Kasai walking towards them. He had a pleased smile on his face, "It is you. I thought my eyes were paying a trick on me after I saw you walking together, but I figured out that won't be the case here as you have a Nomu with you."
Y/N's eyes widened upon seeing the familiar man, "Kasai-kun?"
"The one and only." Kasai nodded in confirmation with his smile growing a bit.
Alice raised her brow in confused upon seeing Kasai, "...Who?"

Shinso Hitoshi couldn't remember the last time when he felt so awkward when he stepped into the dorms of Class A. If he was honest with himself, this wasn't how he was expecting to end up in the hero course. He would always suspect it will be after his skills and hard work during Aizawa's training of him will be acknowledged and the school will finally decide he was ready enough to join the hero course. He never thought he'll be placed in the hero course as a replacement for someone who got kicked out of it.
Bakugo crossed his thoughts a second later as he found himself thinking about the student he will be replacing. If he was honest with himself, he always found Bakugo annoying due to his arrogant behavior and was not suprised when something terrible about him came out. He wasn't expecting it would be something so terrible, though. Tormenting someone for their entire life to the point of the said person wanting to kill themselves was just terrible and shameful.
There was someone else from the League he had focused himself on. He often found himself thinking about Mustard nowadays. When he watched his video and read his interview for the first time, he couldn't help but sympathize with him a lot as both of them were were similiar to each other in many ways such as their shared desire of wanting to be heroes, despite their villanous Quirks. Only their stories had a much different ending with him ending up in the hero course and Mustard ending up a high ranking member of a terrorist organization.
Even though he could sympathize with a lot of stuff regarding Mustard, however, he knew he couldn't excuse any of the stuff he did. Even if his cause may have sound good on paper with Shinso admitting to himself it was something he could have stood behind as he wanted people not to write off people like him as villains straight away, it still didn't excuse any of the stuff he and his comrades did. All they kept talking about how they wanted to create a better world and yet their actions, especially the prison breakouts and the release of many dangerous villain who weren't even supporting their ideals into the world.
He clenched his hand a bit, bracing himself for whatever reaction his presence now as the hero student will get out of his classmates as he stepped further into the dorm and saw them the conversations between his classmates became more evident to him. He could even hear the TV with the TV news being turned on, letting him know some of them must have been watching the news right now. He overheard a female voice talking about Izuku as well.
All of it suddenly stopped a second later as his presence was noticed by his classmates. All of them dropped what they were doing right now and shifted their attention to him. Shinso stopped in his tracks, finding himself in the center of the attention and became slightly more uncomfortable and awkward at this. From the looks on their faces, he could tell they were happy to see him as he could feel they intended on welcoming him in in their class.
Kaminari smiled at him, "Hey, man."
Iida nodded in agreement as he bowed in front of Shinso in a welcoming manner, "Shinso! I am honored to welcome you on behalf of the class!"
"We're really happy to have you here with us officially." Momo decided do do her part as the second class representative and gave Shinso a welcoming as well, "After everything we went through, I know you'll be an incredible addition to our class and will make for a wonderful hero in training with all the hard work you've been into our training."
"Yeah! You were awesome in the Joint Training!" Mina voiced her own agreement, having a smile on her face.
"You're one of us now. Let's keep pushing forward together!" Kirishima added with a grin on his face, wrapping his arm around Shinso. Shinso could tell there was something off about the red haired boy, though. He shouldn't really be suprised by it, though. He knew Kirishima was or rather used to be close with Bakugo before everything went down. Whatever came out about him must have affected him.
Shinso looked around his classmates, feeling slightly overhelmed by their welcome as he took in their words and the atmosphere. He decided to speak up a second later in his usual low voice, "Thanks. I know things have been tough recently for everyone. But I'm here to do my part. I'm really happy to have finally achieved a place in the hero course. I won't let any of you down as I know it's an opportunity not many are given."
Kaminari pumped his fist a bit, "We know you will, man! Just remember, no brainwashing us into doing anything embarrassing. Deal?"
Jiro deadpanned at him, "Seriously?"
"What?" Kaminari looked suprised by her deadpan
"You've already proven you're strong and dependable. We're all here to support each other, no matter what happens." Kirishima nodded in agreement to Kaminari's words, pulling away from Shinso's shoulder with his grin still evident even if Shinso still could see there was something off about him.
"If you'll keep up your hard work, then you don't need to worry about anything." Iida added his own agreement as well.
"Thanks again. But I still can't help but feel a bit weird being here. Don't get me wrong. I'm happy to be here. I still wish it happened under a better circumstances, though." Shinso admitted, letting out a sigh as the atmosphere between him and his new classmates died down in an instant. Their smiles faded away as well, leaving them with frowns as Shinso asked, "What about him? Is he still there?"
Momo nodded in confirmation, "He is. He is finishing packing his stuff from his dorm before he will be moved to the other dorm."
Kirishima rubbed the back of his head with a questioning look on his face, "How do you think he will be received there?"
"If I were to guess, it won't go to well." Tokoyami stated.
"Does it even matter what he will do now? He is not our concern anymore" Ochaco pointed out, not wanting to talk about Bakugo. They had spoken enough about him. She didn't want to give him any more attention. He shifted her gaze between her classmates and asked, "What we should focus on right now are our plans regarding Deku."
Shinso raised his brow, "What? What plans?"
"Right. We should probably tell you about it now that you're in our class..." Ochaco began to explain everything to him as Shinso silently listened to everything she had to say to him.
Unbeknownst to all of them, Bakugo was watching everything from the distance. The blond haired boy leaned against the wall as as he silently watched how his now former classmates were explaining to their new classmates whatever plans they had involving Izuku with Aoyama keeping a small distance from them and keeping himself silent during their explanation, not wanting anything to add or to chime in.
Bakugo shook his head at the view in front of him, letting out a sigh as he knew this was his life now and today marked his last day as the student of the hero course. If he could count the last few days after the decision was as the days in the hero course. His former classmates didn't treat him as such long before that as well. All of them, even Kirishima, kept their distance from him as well and shot him glares whenever they saw him. Kirishima always seemed more disappointed than angry with him, though. All of it made him feel so alone. For the first time in his life, he felt utterly alone.
The blonde haired boyturned away from them a second later, intending to his former room and take everything he had packed there. He had no idea how things will go from here. He didn't know how he will find himself in his new class. He was certain he won't be well received there, though and his greeting there if he will get any won't as warm and welcoming as Shinso's was.
Just as he turned away from former classmates, however, he instantly forced himself to stop dead in his tracks as he saw someone standing in front of him. It wasn't anyone from his former classmates. It wasn't even a hero student. It was Eri.
"Kid?" The blonde haired boy uttered to her with a slightly suprised look on his face, having not expected her here as Eri took one step away from him, looking at him with a fearful look on her face. It wasn't the kind of look a kid would direct towards a hero. It was the kind of look a kid would direct towards a villain.
Eri braced herself like she was afraid of his reaction to what she was about to ask him, "Why did you hurt Y/N? Why would you do it to him or to Deku? Wasn't a hero supposed to protect other people instead if harming them..."
Bakugo sighed. He should have expected a question like this from her. This kid was so attached to him, after all, "Because I was an idiot who had his own crap get into his head and thought I was better than anyone because of it. I don't know what else to say to you."
"Oh..." Eri looked very saddened by this revelation, "I just don't understand..."
Bakugo looked at her questioningly, "Don't understand what?"
"Why is someone nice like Y/N called a villain by everyone, but someone so mean like you was supposed to be a hero." Eri voiced her thoughts to him, "Heroes aren't supposed to be mean people like you. People like you are more like Kai than Y/N or Deku or Twice or Toga.."
"You're right, kid. I'm no hero." Bakugo admitted, letting out a sigh as he pushed himself into walk towards his dorm again to collect the rest of his stuff as he intended on leaving this dorm as quickly as possible.

Cyborg landed on the roof of a building a few minutes after Y/N had his confrontation with an angry man and reunited with Kasai, having distanced himself and the others enough from the place where all of it took place not to worry about them getting ambushed by whatever authorities the man could have alerted if he had the resources to do so according to Y/N. Cyborg obeyed him as usual upon hearing this and landed on the closest roof to them.
Y/N, Kasai and Alice climbed down from his back a second later, having no more reason to keep themselves there for any longer with Y/N ordering Cyborg to keep an eye on their surroundings. Even with Cyborg keeping an eye on their surroundings, however, Y/Ndecided to make sure this place was good enough for this conversation with Kasai himself. He stepped closer to the edge of the roof and nodded to himself a second later, feeling all the worry he had regarding staying on this rooffading away after taking a good look around himself.
"We'll be safe here to have our conversation?" Kasai's voice rang through his ears a second later as Y/N turned around towards the source of his voice and saw Kasai and Alice standing behind him with questioning looks on their faces.
"Yes. I think so. Even if he managed to call anyone, I doubt they will reach us here as they will have to choose " Y/N gave him his words of confirmation as he stepped closer to them and stopped directly in front of Alice and Kasai while Cyborg remained on the side, keeping himself on guard.
"Alright. Good." Kasai nodded in return, looking satisfied by the answer. He smiled a second later, showing Y/N he was happy to see him again, "It's good to see you again. I wasn't expecting to see you again this soon."
"Me too. I was certain the next time I would see you again would be when me and the rest will make our next move." Y/N nodded back at him. Even if he wasn't smilling right now, Kasai could tell the younger villain was happy to see him again as well.
Alice raised her finger in the air to make herself know Y/N and Kasai, "Excuse me, Y/N. Can you explain to me who he is?"
"Right. You don't know his name..." Y/N realized it and quickly made sure to introduced Kasai to Alice, "Alice. This is Kasai Kazuyoshi. I met him on the same day I met you when I paid a visit to the clothing store. He helped me a bit with choosing new clothes after I got rid of my old ones."
"Nice to meet you." Kasai replied, holding out his hand towards Alice for a handshake as he saw no reason in not acting friendly towards her. If she was Y/N, then it was obvious both of them were working towards a mutual goal.
"Nice to meet you too. Alice Westbrook. Or Westbrook Alice. Whichever way of introduction you prefer." Alice introduced herself to him with a small smile on her face as she grabbed her hand into his and gave it a firm shake. Even if she tried to make it firm, it still was nothing compared to Kasai's strenght. Her smile twisted a bit as she felt his grip on her hand. Kasai chuckled at this, making the young blonde haired woman slightly embarassed.
Kasai pulled his hand away from Alice a second later and shifted his attention back to Y/N, "How have you been doing since our last meeting? By seeing you have a traveling friend now, I see you've been busy for the last several days."
Y/N gave him a confirmation to his assumption, "You could say that. I mostly took care of coming into contact with the escaped members of the Liberation Front and letting know them how things look like in our organization right now. Even if it's still much less from how many there was of us, it's still nice to see more people managed to escape the heroes attack on us."
"I see. Good to know you and your friends are working on rebuilding themselves." Kasai nodded at him as he seemed happy to hear about it from Y/N, "Your friends have been busy as well from what I've heard."
"What do you mean?" Y/N raised his brow at this, not knowing what he is talking about as Alice seemed confused by this as well because she couldn't recall anything like this coming up when Y/N was contacted by Skeptic and Kizuki.
"You don't know?" Kasai looked slightly confused by it, "I thought the rest of the League would tell you about this."
Y/N gave him an explanation a second later, "I haven't been really keeping in touch with them for the last several days as I focused myself on my mission of meeting up with the the escaped members of the Liberation Front. I only speak with two of my comrades for now as they always give me locations of whoever they managed to locate."
"I see." Kasai replied in understanding. Everyone was probably too focused on their own jobs and Y/N being constantly on the move prevented him from hearing about it. With Y/N not knowing about this, he decided to fill him on this, "The heteromorphs all over the country are heading towards one hospital where one of your old friends is being held."
Y/N looked at him with an interested look on his face, "Old friends."
"Yes. Kurogiri." Kasai explained to him who the friend was and Y/N"s eyes snapped open in an instant as soon as this name rang through his ears, "I was encouraged as a follower of Spinner to head towards it myself. If I were to guess, your friends are planning to free him when you will make you next move."
"I see." Y/N smiled. He actually had a full smile right now. The thought of Kurogiri being freed and him seeing him again after all this time when they will make their next move was enough to make him smile. Alice smiled at the view of him smilling like this, feeling happy to see Y/N being happy like this for once.
"From what I've heard, Spinner's followers aren't the only ones who are heading somewhere right now." Kasai added to what he said a second later.
"What do you mean?" Y/N asked in interest and Alice seemed interested in it as well.
"Your followers are moving towards the Blackgate prison." Kasai explained to him, "To be honest I'm kind of suprised you weren't told about this by your comrades as people who are following you are included here."
"I see." Y/N nodded in understanding, not smilling at this information like he was when Kurogiri was mentioned by Kasai as he didn't know what to make of this information. It will be something he will have to think through. Especially since he had just learned about something like this. He nodded at him gratefully a second later, "Thank you for sharing this information with me."
Kasai smiled at him, "You're welcome."
"What about you? How have you been doing since your meeting?" Y/N asked him a second later.'
"Let's just say you and your friends are not the only ones who were busy for the last several days." Kasai explained, "I kept myself busy after our meeting as well, going from one place to another and I came into contact with some of your friends from the past."
"Friends from the past?" Y/N raised his brow in interest as Alice looked intrigued by this as well.
"The villains from the USJ." Kasai revealed to him as Y/N's eyes widened upon hearing this from him. If he was honest with himself, he wasn't expecting to hear about the villains from the USJ again. He couldn't even remember the last time he thought about the USJ. It felt like it this fight happened so long ago, despite it being only over a year as well...
"..." Y/N stayed silent at this revelation, not knowing how else he should reply to it due to his lack of knowledge regarding all the villains who participated with him in the USJ attack.
"I know their names as well. Maybe you'll remember them." Kasai added to his explanation as Y/N remained stayed silent at this, knowing this won't be the case here as he didn't interact with any of the villains from the USJ. He only remembered them some of them from the view. Kasai paid no attention to his silence, though and listed off the names to him, "Their names if I remember correctly from my meeting them with are Tesla, Gorilla, Needle Hair, Martial Hair and Steel Bulwark."
"I see." Y/N finally gave Kasai a proper to his explanation, breaking himself out of his silent state.
Kasai raised his brow at his reaction, "What's wrong?"
"Nothing. It's just don't know how else to reply to this." Y/N explained to him, "You see. I haven't really interacted much with the villains from the USJ as I haven't seen them until after my and Tomura-kun's attack started, so I'm not really familiar with any of the people you had just mentioned."
"I see," Kasai said slowly, tapping his fingers on his arm as he picked up his reluctance. Everything became silent between them for a moment as Alice shifted uncomortably, "Still, you were part of that attack, right? Even if you didn't interact with the others directly, you must have some interest regarding them and what they are doing now after they've been freed rom prison."
Alice, who had been silently observing decided to chime in, "Maybe we should pay them a visit if your friend knows where we can find them and try to get them to join our case. It would be like meeting all the groups of the survivors from Liberation Front and letting them know about the current situation and have them wait for our next move."
"She's right. Now that I stumbled upon you again and brought this up to you, I would kick myself not asking you this. Do you want me to take you to them?" Kasai voiced what he meant to him, "Since you worked together before, you could try working together again even if you didn't have much of a contact when you first worked with them."
Y/N didn't give them an answer right away as wanted to think everything over before he'll make his decision. He knew the idea of taking him to the USJ villains by Kasai was a good one and agreed with Alice when she told him they could try recruiting them into their cause would be a good thing. However, he felt slightly nervous about seeing the villains from the USJ again as he had no idea how they will react to seeing them again after they were left behind by him, Shigaraki and Kurogiri.
He knew he couldn't refuse this opportunity even if he had those nervous feelings inside of him, though. He and his friends needed as many people as he could for thei next move, whenever it will take place and he knew it would be a good way of extending their numbers. Even if this plan will fail and the USJ villains won't want to work him again after he left them behind the last time, he knew it was still worth a try.
The h/c haired boy pushed himself out of his silent state a second later as he finally gave them his answer, "Alright. Take us to them."
"Great." Kasai smiled in a pleased manner.
Alice looked at him questioningly, "Can you point out in the direction we should head towards?"
"Of course. Give me a second. I'll show you on the map." Kasai replied, taking off his bag and opening it as he quickly pulled out a map and unfolded it. He showed the map to Y/N and Alice, moving the finger in the direction they should move and Y/N and Alice made sure to pay attention to it. Something else caught their attention when Kasai showed them the direction they should head towards. The place of the USJ's villains hideout would take them in the direction of the Blackgate Prison.
Y/N shifted his attention away from the direction of the Blackgate prison a second later and gave Kasai a nod of understanding, "Alright. At least we know the whole way to them."
"We should go to Cyborg and show him this direction." Alice suggested as Y/N and Kasai nodded in agreement and moved towards Cyborg. Just as they they moved towards Cyborg to show him where they should take him next, a lone car drove along the street below them...
-----
Tomohito stared out of the window of his dorm, looking at all the people walking around the safe zone which was created at Shiketsu following what went down between heroes and the Paranormal Liberation Front and let out a sigh. His dorm was a place he had kept himself locked up in for the last several days as he wanted to keep himself away from all the civilians because he nervous to face them and their reaction to him.
Even if much less people arrived at their safe zone than his school had expected due to the trust in heroes growing significaly lower due to the videos released by the League in addition to everything else, he knew the reaction of those who were in the safe zone would be less than pleasant to seeing him and he wanted to shield himself from it. The way his schoolmates reacted to seeing him after the truth about him came out only seemed to confirm everything to him in that regard.
He found himself thinking back to the decision of Shiketsu keeping him as one of their students a second later as he stepped away from the window and sat down on his bed. If he was honest with himself, he was really suprised when he found out the school facualty decided not to expel him. He was certain he would be expelled as a way of making the school look better and even accepted it, knowing he deserved it. However, reality turned out to far different from his assumptions and he was still a student at his dream hero school.
He felt conflicted about the decision of being kept a student at Shiketsu. He was happy about it, knowing he can still fulfill his dream of being a hero, but on the other hand he felt like he would feel better if he got expelled from the school. It would make him feel better as it would make him feel like he at least did something to atone for his past mistakes if he was expelled from his hero school as a consequenceof his past actions. It wasn't the case, though and all of it was making him conflicted.
The reaction of people in the safe zone was far from perfect as well and many of them were outraged by him being kept at the school, despite everything he did. Many of them outright demanded him to be expelled unless they'll leave the safe zone. The principal of the school and each hero stationed in the safe zone had to do some heavy convicing to keep them at the safe zone and ultimately they were convinced to stay at the safe zone. Even if their mood was still far from perfect.
His parents were still disappointed in him and his past behavior and it showed whenever they interacted with him. They told him he was lucky not to be expelled from school and not to waste the chance which was given to him. His circle of friends remained divided as well as only Camie and Shishikura talked with him. Inasa still kept himself at distance from him and every attempt Tomohito made of interacting with him was shut down by Inasa telling him he still needs some space from him to think everything through.
Nagamasa kept himself distanced from him as well. His case was a bit different than Inasa's, though as he kept himself distanced from everyone. Not only him. He failed to recover contact with Taiga and Ryoyu as well even if he tried to get them to talk with him for the first few days after the truth about him came out. They kept him blocked, though and acted as if they didn't knew him. Tomohito gave up after this, seeing no point in it and decided Taiga and Ryoyu could go screw themselves for leaving him like this in this mess even if they were equally as guilty as he was.
Tomohito shifted his thoughts away from his former friends, not wanting to think about then anymore as he knew they weren't worth his time and focused himself on something else instead. His parents told him not to waste the chance he was given by Shiketsu and he knew they were right. His being kept in Shiketsu was a chance not many would be given in his situation and he couldn't waste it. The best way of not wasting it would be him finally facing his past sins...
"...Tomo-chan~." He was pushed out of his thoughts a second later by a familiar female voice as the door to his dorm was opened and two people walked in. He turned around to face the source of the voice and saw Camie and Shishikura walking into his dorm with Shishikura leaving the door slightly opened. Camie held a tray with two portions of food in front of him with a smile on her face, "I brought you something to eat."
"Great. Thanks." Tomohito smiled at her gratefully and eyed the tray in his girlfriends hands. He raised his brow a bit upon seeing there were portions for two people here. He looked up at his girlfriend from the tray a second later, "Camie? Why are there portions for two people? You know this is far from than I'll be able to eat by myself."
"It's because it's for you and me silly~." Camie chuckled at her boyfriend as she sat down on his bed across from him and placed the tray between them, "You really thought I'll eat you eat all by yourself."
"Right." Tomohito chuckled back at her, looking slightly embarassed by this as he shifted his gaze from Camie to Shishikura who walked over to his window and glanced at the people wandering around the safe zone and doing their own stuff. He looked at him questioningly a second later, "You don't want to sit down Shishikura-kun?"
"No. I'll just stand here and watch everyone outside." Shishikura replied. If he was honest with himself, he preferred not to deal with Tomohito and Camie and their boyfriend/girlfriend antics. Those always made him feel annoyed and awkward. It took a long time for Tomohito and Camie to convince him not to out their relationship to the school facualty because of it being against the school rules.
Tomohito nodded in understanding and shifted his attention back to Camie and their food, "Alright."
"Your loss~." Camie playfully told him.
"No. I don't think so." Shishikura shook his head, keeping his gaze on the people outside as Camie chuckled. Even if Shishikura had his back turned to them, she could tell what kind of look he had on his face now. He kept himself silent afterwards, allowing his friends to dig into their food.
Tomohito decided to save Shishikura from further teasing from Camie and adressed the food which was brought to him by his girlfriend, "I see we're having the same meal as yesterday."
"Yup. I'm telling ya. Our cooks are getting really lazy and unoriginal with their food." Camie nodded in confirmation, having shifted her attention back to her boyfriend as she picked up a fork and poked her meal with it. They exchanged smiles wth each other, feeling happy to have this meal with each other like they do everyday and dug into it straight away.
The dorm afterwards was covered in silence for most of the time as Camie and Tomohito ate their food while making some small talk with each other and making each other smile and chuckle at whatever they were saying to each other while Shishikura kept looking out of the window, leaving himself with his own thoughts as he kept his opinion on not wanting to deal with them and their couple stuff. All of this was just so awkward for them. Especially when Camie was making her remarks to Tomohito.
He pushed himself away from his thoughts a second later and glanced over his shoulder at Tomohito and Camie where he saw Tomohito was mid-way through his food. He nodded to himself, knowing it was a good time for him to start a conversation with Tomohito. He waited to start it early, but kept himself silent and waited for a few minutes as he wanted to wait a few minutes until Tomohito will eat a bit fo his food before he will voice his question to him.
"How do you feel Kazari?" He voiced his question to him. There was something he and Tomohito needed to talk about. They haven't gotten a chance to have this conversation, yet due to everything going on around them and he didn't want to postpone it for any longer.
Tomohito stopped himself from picking up another part of his meal with his fork and looked up at Shishikura with a questioning look on his face as he didn't know how to understand this question, "What do you mean Shishikura-kun?"
"You know what I mean." Shishikura told him. The tone of his voice instantly betrayed to Tomohito what was he talking about. He wanted to talk with him about him being kept a student at Shiketsu. Tomohito sighed. He should have expected this conversation with his friends would happen sooner or later. They didn't have this conversation, yet. Even if a few days passed since it happened.
"To be honest I think would have felt better if they had just expelled me." He gave him an honest answer as he placed his fork on his plate and gave him an honest answer,
Camie stopped herself mid-bite in an instant at this, "What do you mean?"
"Here we go with this again..." Shishikura muttered under his breath, having lost the count of how many times he either had or overheard Tomohito having a conversation like this.
"You know exactly what I mean." Tomohito replied to what his girlfriend said, paying no attention to Shishikura's comment, "Staying at this school even after what I did and what my actions caused makes..."
"Kazari. How many times do I have to tell you this?" Shishikura told Tomohito, cutting him off before he could fully voice what he meant here, "You shouldn't feel bad about anything he did. Even if you bullied him back in middle school, it doesn't excuse anything he did and you didn't make him kill all those people. He was the one who decided to kill them. Not you. He is just using your history with him as a sob story to make people feel sorry for him."
"I know. It still doesn't make me feel better, though." Tomohito admitted, letting out a sigh, "How would you feel if you were in my position? How would you feel knowing someone you bullied became so vile and had killed so many people? How would you feel knowing your past treatment of him motivated him to do all of this?"
"..." Camie and Shishikura stayed silent, having nothin to say to him here. As much as Shishikura didn't want to admit this, Tomohito was right here. He had no idea how Tomohito was feeling right now. He had no idea how it felt like to be in the situation his friend had found himself in.
Tomohito noticed their silence and saw this as his chance to go further into his explanation, "No matter what. I'll never start feeling guilty about it. Maybe if I wasn't such an asshole when I was younger, then maybe things would look differently now. I just want to find a way to atone for what I did. I thought me getting expelled from Shiketsu would be my way of atoning for it and pretty much accepted it before I found out I'll be kept at this school. I know it would be a coward's way of atoning it, though. I need to atone for it in some other way."
"What do you mean?" Shishikura turned around to fully face him and Tomohito saw the intrigued look he had on his face right now. Camie had her eyes on her boyfriend as well, having completely forgotten about her meal by this point as she began to grow worried for her boyfriend. She was slowly starting to see where this conversation was going and she didn't like it. Not one bit.
"When the League will make their next move, I'm going to ask the heroes to place me whenever the Mask is going to be and are going to face him directly." Tomohito explained as Camie's and Shishikura's eyes widened at it. Camie's eyes were filled with worry and Shishikura's eyes were filled with suprise. His voice was slightly shaky at the thought of facing Y/N, having had enough time to find out about everything he did but he knew it was something he had to do to atone for his past.
"Are you sure?" Camie voiced her worry to him a second later as her worst assumptions were confirmed to her by his words. If she didn't like it before, then she absolutely hated it right now.
Tomohito nodded n confirmation without hesitation, "Yes. I'm done with running away from my past mistakes. If I'm going to atone for them in some way, then I need to face him. I need to face the monster I had created. Not keep myself hidden like I did when we attacked the mansion of the Liberation Front. In fact, I was relieved we didn't face him after I saw what he did to the U.A students. I know how wrong it was, considering he is like this because of me."
Camie's face remained filled with worry as he took his hand into hers and stared directly into his eyes, "Tomo-chan. You know how dangerous he is. You heard it yourself what he did back at the mansion and what did with the kid from U.A. You know what might do to you if you lose.
"I know. It's a risk I'm willing to take." Tomohito nodded in confirmation even if his voice remained shaky, "This is something I need to do Camie. For not only my peace. For the peace of everyone."
"I see..." Camie sighed sadly, seeing her boyfriend was certain about this even if she could tell the thought of this scared him as Shishikura looked at his friend with respect slowly beginning to form on his face. Even if Tomohito did what he did in the past, he was willing to face his past demons. It deserved his respect. Camie tightened her grip around his hand, making him slightly hurt, Tomohito didn't care about it as he knew she was simply worried for him.
"Camie. Listen. I know it's..." He began to say to his girlfriend in an attempt of making her feel better and less worried about him.
Camie cut him off, "I'll do this with you..."
"W-What?" Tomohito stuttered out in suprise.
Camie nodded in confirmation without hesitation in her voice, "You heard me right. Let me help you. Whatever will happen there, I want to be there with you to help you face your past sins."
"You can count of my support as well. You, unlike many who would find yourself in your situation, don't want to sweep your past mistakes under the rug and want to face them instead of leaving them forgotten. This is why I'll be glad to help you with this." Shishikura added. It wasn't the only reason why he wanted to help Tomohito. He wanted to avenge his father. He hated All For One for what happened to his father. He hated Shigaraki for what happened to him. He hated Y/N for this as well. He hated everyone from the League. He wanted to make them pay for it.
"I'll help yoo." A new male voice rang through their ears. Everyone instantly recognized this voice. It was Inasa.
Tomohito instantly snapped his head in the direction of the voice and saw his best friend standing in the doorway to his room, "Inasa-kun. Are you..?"
"Yes. I'm sure." Inasa nodded at him with his signature smile slowly forming on his face.
Tomohito felt touched upon seeing this. Inasa had not smiled at him like this ever since the truth about it came out. He couldn't help but as him, though, "But what made you change your mind? You stayed away from me for the last several days as you needed to think everything through."
Inasa gave him an explanation a second later, "I overheard you having conversation with Camie and Shishikura-kun when I was on my way to my dorm just now and stopped by the door to overhear it. What I heard from you just now is everything I needed to hear to know you're not the person you used to be in middle school. It won't make me forget about what kind of person you were in middle school, but I can see you regret it and want to face your past mistakes instead of running away from them. I know you as the person you are right now as well. It is enough to make me continue being friends with you. This is why I'll be glad to help you when you face him."
"Inasa-kun..." Tomohito uttered in a shaky nearly tearful tone. Words couldn't describe how he was feeling right now. He was genuinely worried he had lost Inasa as his best friend after Inasa kept himself distanced from him. He was happy it was not the case here, though. He was happy to have Inasa here with him. He was happy to have all of his friends and girlfriend with him.
Inasa took notice of the way Tomohito reacted and looked at him with a raised brow, "You alright there, buddy?"
"Nothing. It's just. Times like these, you know who your real friends are. They're not the ones running around looking for an escape route. They're the ones who stand at your side through the worst of it, who never give up on you. I'm lucky I can say I know someone like that.." Tomohito voiced his thoughts to his girlfriend and his friends while smilling and looking like he was about to tear up. Those were his real friends. Not Taiga and Ryoyu.
Inasa and Camie smile at him upon hearing those words to him. Even Shishikura had a small smile on his face. Camie moved towards Tomohito a second later and planted a kiss on his lips, not caring about Inasa and Shishikura being there. Inasa smiled at the scene while Shishikura rolled his eyes at the moment, glancing away with a slightly uncomfortable and awkward look on his face. He would complain to them about their relationship, reminding their of Shiketsu policy against dating, but right now he was willing to make an exception.
The mood between them died down a second later, though as Tomohito pulled away from Camie and asked Inasa "What about Nagamasa-kun? Do you know anything about him Inasa-kun?"
"I wish I could say I do Tomo-kun." Inasa gave him an honest answer with his face growing slightly uncertain, "I haven't talked with him much since everything went down as well."
Camie nodded in agreement, "Now that you mentioned this, I haven't spoken with him either. He hasn't responded to any of my text messages as well."
"Same here. He kept to himself after our battle against those terrorists." Shishikura added, "I think I only saw him talking with his parents over the course of the last few days."
"Maybe we should go talk with him. He was alone with his thoughts for all this time. He may be needing someone to talk to right now." Inasa suggested as Tomohito, Camie and Shishikura nodded in agreement. Whatever was going on with Nagamasa, they hoped everything will work out in the end.
------
All Might kept his eyes on the road ahead of him, tapping his fingers on the steering wheel of his car as he allowed himself to be left with his own thoughts. His car was silent and it was a perfect chance for him to collect all the thoughts he was having for the past few days and to let out everything which was bothering him. Even i it was for him and him only due to him not wanting to bother anyone else with this.
The former number one hero let out a sigh as he went further in his thoughts. Things in Japan were really terrible now. He couldn't remember the last time when his country was so split up with people being either vocal about supporting one side or being completely against it. There were many people who weren't siding with neither of the sides, but All Might knew all they needed was a little push to be finally convinced to support either of the sides.
Things with Izuku were far from good as well. His boy became a tired depressed mess over the course of the last several days. What happened between him and Y/N when Y/N tried to have him captured made everything much worse. Izuku had focused himself on trying to find anything which could take them to All For One, ignoring his own health and even making All Might feel like he didn't need him.
It made All Might feel like a failure, leaving him feel like he couldn't even save his own student. He was really called a symbol of peace by so many people and yet, he failed to help his own student. Izuku was attacked by mored hired guns by All For One as well. He had defeated all of them, though. All of the hired guns were interrogated regarding All For One as well and none of them had anything to say.
He snapped himself out of his thoughts a second later, because someonehad ran into the street a few meters in front of car. Taking a sudden stop with his vehicle to make sure he won't run the person over, he took a good look at the situation ahead of himself and saw the person was a woman who had her head covered by a hood. The woman tripped in her tracks in the middle of the street, looking behind her fearfully and it was followed by a villain entering the street.
All Might instantly became alerted by the view of this villain going after the woman, knowing he had to do something to stop him from whatever he was planning to do to her even if he didn't have power. He quickly climbed himself out of his car, making himself known to the woman and the man by calling out to them and moved towards them. He stopped in his tracks a second later, raising his brow in confusion as he saw neither the woman or the villain moved from where they stood in any way after making his declaration to them.
"Hello, All Might." All Might's eyes widened upon hearing this voice. Even though he barely heard it in person, he recognized this voice straight away. It was Y/N. He turned towards the source of this voice and saw Y/N sitting on the roof of his car. The young villain had his covered by his mask, having used the EMP part of his Quirk to turn off all the electronics in All Might's car.
All Might took a step backwards in suprise, "L/N..."
"Don't call me L/N. Nothing ties me to them anymore." Y/N told him with his tone slightly shifting into a more angered one at this as he removed his mask to reveal his face to the former number one here. All Might remained silent, not knowing what to say right now due to how suprised he was by the sudden appearance of the Mask as Y/N hopped down from the roof of his car and looked directly into All Might's eyes, "Come on. Don't be so silent. If I wanted to kill you, wouldn't I have already done that?"
"What do you want from me?" All Might asked as he shifted his gaze away from Y/N to glance at the woman and a villain who ran into the street and saw both of them walking towards him and Y/N. The former number one sighed. It was all a set up. Y/N knew he would stop at the sign of a defensless woman being chased by a villain and used that against him.
"I just want to talk with you." Y/N gave him an honest answer as Alice and Kasai stopped around him and All Might. They weren't the only ones. Cyborg landed on the street in a small distance behind Y/N as well, keeping guard on their surroundings and All Might narrowed his eyes slightly at the view of the creature. The former number one hero shifted his attention back to Y/N a second later when Y/N added, "It's been a while since we last talked, right? The last time it happened was in Camino Ward during the summer. It's a pity that what I told you back then didn't mean much to you."
All Might clenched his hand, "I know I was wrong to ignore what you said back there. I'm sorry. I should listened to you back then..."
"I see you finally opened your eyes on your Era on Peace not being as flawless as everyone claimed it was? Great. Nice to see at least one of you stepped our of your bubble." Y/N told All Might. His voice was cold when he uttered those words, though. There was nothing there. There wasn't anger. There wasn't happiness. His voice was just blank, "Too bad so much had to happened for it to happen. it's too late to do anything about it now. It won't bring back Jin-kun and Tengai-kun. It won't bring back what you did to Tomura-kun at the hospital. It won't undo everything I did. It won't do anything about the fact that so many of your friends from work still ignore everything and are keeping themselves with their eyes locked."
All Might tightened his already clenched hand, "What do you want to talk about?"
"I want to talk with you about Shimura Nana." Y/N gave him his answer.
"Why do you want to talk with me about my former master?" All Might's eyes widened at this at the mention of his former master. He knew he shouldn't be suprised by Y/N knowing about her, though. If he knew about One For All, then the possibility of him knowing about her being a former user of it and her master was quite high.
"Let's just say I learned some interested stuff about her son and his family from All For One." Y/N explained to him. His eyes became more narrowed with each word he had uttere to All Might. It showed All Might one thing. Y/N was displeased by this information. All Might swallowed his saliva a bit. He knew what Y/N was about to say, "He told me she abandoned her one and only child."
All Might looked at the villain in front of him with sorrow slowly becoming more evident in his eyes, "I-I know how bad that sound, but just listen to me. She just wanted her son to have a better life. She was trying to protect him from the future villains. She truly did care for him."
"She cared? If that's the case, then she did a terrible fucking job at expressing it!" Y/N told him with his tone growing more angry as he started to show more emotions towards All Might instead of keeping everything about him blank, "If she cared, then maybe she would have kept her son instead and then maybe things would be so much different now!"
"B-But she did care! Whatever happened to her son, she couldn't have known what would have happen to him." All Might tried to defend his mentor.
Y/N crossed his arms, "I see. You don't even know what happened to him. You or whoever else was close to her didn't even bother to check on him after his death to see how he was doing and to maybe, just maybe, give him a better understanding of his situation."
"W-We thought it would be for the best." All Might explained, having decided on it with Gran Torino with him evidently become more ashamed of this.
Y/N kept his arms closed as he leaned up a bit to make his face a bit closer to All Might's. He intended on telling him everything and he was not going to be stopped, "Too bad it wasn't for the best. Do you want to know her son turned out to be? I'm certain this is something you'd be interested in knowing. He became an abusive spiteful bastard who was taking out his anger on his children. He instilled his hatred of heroes into him and his older sister Hana. He made them suffer. For even something so simple and small as playing heroes."
"..." All Might held his breath, listening to everything Y/N had to say to him. Even if he wanted to deny it, he could tell Y/N was not lying. His tone was too genuine for him to be lying. The anger in his voice only confirmed everything more to him.
"Do you know what happene to him and his family afterwards?" Y/N took All Might's silence as his chance to explain everything further to him. His voice became slightly hurt at this. All Might knew it probably wasn't directed towards Nana's son. It must have been directed towards someone else, "One day Tomura's Quirk manifested and something happened. As a result of this, he killed his entire family as an accident."
"..." All Might once again remained silent as he didn't know what to say here. Y/N was certain about one thing, though. He could tell All Might was horrified by this. His horror and regret filled expression at what happened with Nana's family showed this perfectly to him. Alice and Kasai shocked exchanged glances with each other at this. Neither of them knew about any of this...
Y/N addressed All Might's silence a second later, "What? Too stunned to hear about your actions having negative consequences? Just think about it. Of only she wasn't such a bitch to abandon her child, then maybe Tomura-kun would have never become the way he is..."
"Don't call her a b...!" All Might finally reached his limit with all the negative information and tried to say something. He was interrupted by his own body, though as he spat out some blood.
"Or what? Why shouldn't call her that when it's exactly what I think of her?" Y/N asked him. His expression remained unchanged as he added, "Your friends constantly belittle my friends by calling them abominations, monsters or every other name in the book." He pointed at Kasai, "Like Kasai-kun over here was called a menace by society by Kamui Woods for stealing a fucking purse. But when someone else does that to you, then we should just watch our mouths?"
All Might collected himself from him spitting out his blood and asked. His face didn't show anger anymore. It showed guilt. Guilt and pure sorrow, "...W-What happened to Shigaraki after he killed his family before All For One got his hands on him?"
Y/N wasted no time and gave him an explanation, "Tomura-kun all by himself after he killed his whole family. He wandered the streets. All by himself. Even though there were so many chances for someone to reach out to him as he was passed by so many people who just ignored him in disgust. Because why should anyone bother to help a bloodied barefooted child wandering the streets when we're in the middle of Era of Peace, right? A hero can just appear and save you, right?"
All Might wiped the blood from his mouth with the back of his hand. The familiar metallic taste lingered, but it wasn't the blood that made his stomach twist. It was Y/N"s words. Everything Y/N had just told him was another punch in the gut after another. This, however, felt like the ultimate punch to him. For a moment, the former number one couldn't bring himself to respond. His hands trembled as he tried to collect himself. He took a deep breath, trying to collect himself, but it wasn't enough to silence the storm raging in his mind.
"Nana's grandson. Wandering the streets all by himself while covered in blood and everyone ignoring him..." All Might thought to himself as he found himself unable to take his thoughts away from this. The image Y/N painted was seared into his brain. A child, lost, broken, ignored by the very society All Might had spent his life defending. Shigaraki or rather, Tenko Shimura had been right there, waiting for someone to reach out. And no one had. No one until All For One.
Y/N sighed upon seeing All Might's reaction, "Yup. This was the reality of your Era of Peace. People suffering right out in the open and people not giving a shit about it for one reason or another. Bakugo's example is another good of it. To think he would get away with a slap on the wrist for everything he did if it wasn't for me taking away his power."
"I-I didn't know about any of this." All Might stuttered out with his voice filled with guilt and sorrow. His shifted his gaze to Kasai a second later. The young man had been labeled a "menace" by society for stealing a purse. A mistake, yes, but did that make him a monster? Was this the justice All Might had once stood for? Punishment without understanding? Fear instead of compassion?
"Of course you didn't! You never bothered to know!" Y/N pointed out to him, pointing directly at All Might's face as All Might glanced back at him, "All you cared about was throwing fist at everyone you disliked and calling it a day!"
"I'm sorry." All Might whispered. He knew it wasn't enough. It would never be enough. But it was all he could say. For the first time, he felt... powerless. He didn't felt like this even when he lost One For All.
"Sorry? Do you think a single sorry is going to make things better?" What good is 'sorry' to Tomura-kun?" Y/N asked, pointing at Kasai who kept himself silent as he and Alice continue to silently watch the confrontation, "What good is it to the people like him like Kasai or Origami or Mustard or Toga or Slice or Chimera who needed help, but got called monsters instead?"
All Might lowered his gaze, "You don't need to tell me that. I know this won't fix anything..."
Y/N stared at him silently and sighed, "You know. Despite everything, you're one of the few heroes I don't hate."
All Might lifted up his gaze with a suprised look on his face, "You don't?"
"No. I know you creating a society like this wasn't your intention when you first became a hero." Y/N explained to him, "I can see you regret this and admitted your fault. Something I doubt your friends from work will do. Ultimately your heart was always in the right place."
"I see..." All Might replied, unsure how else to reply to this as Y/N began to turn away from him towards Cyborg, making All Might believe their conversation was over and Y/N had told him everything he wanted to tell him. Alice and Kasai noticed him walking towards Cyborg and followed him to the Nomu.
"Tell Midoriya something from me." He found out how wrong he was a second later as Y/N uttered to him when he was about to face him with his back, "Tell him. On the day we spoke, I have never been more let down in my life. As long as we each hold unbending convictions, our clash is inevitable. Once that happens, there'll be one but one thing for us to do. Fight."
All Might's hand clenched into a fist as he imagined Izuku's face upon hearing Y/N's message. His boy was already devasted after what happened between him and Y/N. He could already imagine the sorrow, the disappointment in Izuku's eyes. He knew already how deeply affected his student was by all of this and he knew those words from Y/Nwould just crush him and worsen his already horrible mental health situation.
"Is that eveything you had to say to me?" The former number one hero uttered his final question to Y/N before Y/N could leave with his comrades on Cyborg.
"No. There's something else." Y/N gave him an answer a second later with his back turned to All Might, "I wanted to let you know that there's now sense in talking with me anymore. You blew your chance the moment Jin-kun and Tengai-kun were killed by that winged bastard. The only way of stopping me now is either locking me up or killing me. Just to let you know, though. I won't let myself get caught."
All Might's grip tightened, his knuckles whitening as Y/N's words of him admitting there was no sense in talking anymore cut him deep and echoed in his mind like a hammer against a fragile wall. His breath caught in his throat, heart pounding louder than ever before. This wasn't the voice of a man trying to be saved. This was the voice of someone who had completely given up on such idea.
Y/N's words of either killing or locking him up cut the former one hero deep as well. Is this what it's come to? After everything? It made him feel worse regarding Izuku as well. How was he going to tell him about all of this? Everything. From Y/N telling All Might about him knowing the clash between him and Izuku was inevitable and Y/N admitting the only way of stopping him either killing him or locking him up would just devaste his boy more than he already was...
It made him think back to what Gran Torino uttered to Izuku when Izuku told him about him still wanting to save Y/Nas well. Only this time with addition of Shigaraki.
"...Sometimes you need to kill someone to save them. If there's two of them, then you need to kill both of them. If Shigaraki dies, then L/N will go ballistic. If L/N will die, then Shigaraki will go ballistic. This is why both of them need to be stopped..."
The former number one sighed, "...Y/N."
Y/N looked over his shoulder at him with a raised brow, "Yes?
"We could have talked everything out without any of this destruction around us if we approached everything differently. Right?" All Might voiced his question to him.
"Yeah. We could have. As soon as you would be willing to show change, then I would gladly talk things through with you." Y/N gave him a nod of confirmation with sadness and disappointment fiilling his voice. He sighed sadly a second later, "However, now it's too late. Your friends from work already showed me they prefer to kill us over trying to reason with you. Even when I tried talking with some of them when they attacked, all they gave me in response was some heroic bullshit. This is something I won't forget."
All Might's thoughts became a mix of regret and frustration upon hearing Y/N's answer. The confirmation that their conflict could have been resolved through conversation rather than violence gnawed at him. All of it was just a painful reminder of how things had spiraled out of control the moment they Paranormal Liberation Front was attacked. Even Y/N himself had shown genuine sadness and disappointment over this. The young villain genuinely didn't want things to turn out the way they did as much as he did and yet they found themselves in a situation like this, despite that.
He kept himself silent for now, knowing the conversation between him and Y/N was over and shifted his attention from him to Cyborg. He shook his head at the view of the creature. Even if his view on the League was now different from what it used to be, there was something he knew he will never defend when it comes to them. The Nomus were exactly what he would never find himself defending. Not even a bit.
"I wonder what poor civilian they used to make this monster..." All Might muttered under his breath, breaking himself out of his silent state.
Y/N raised his brow, having overheard him saying this. He stopped in his tracks and turned around to look at All Might again, "What are you talking about?"
All Might's eyes widened slightly, "You don't know?"
"Don't know what?" Y/N asked him with a genuinely confused look on his face.
All Might's eyes widened further when he saw the confusion on Y/N's face was genuine. This boy really didn't know that, "...Y/N. The Nomus aren't just made of heroes and villains. All For One and his doctor used normal civilians to make those as well..."
Y/N stared at him silently for the next few seconds while looking as if he didn't know how to reply to this, "...You're lying."
"Y/N. I'm not lying." All Might denied this. His eyes remained widened by Y/N"s reaction. Even if Y/N had been told whatever happened with Shigaraki's family, All For One and the Doctor still kept some things away from him and led him into believing the Nomus were just made out of heroes and villains.
Y/N didn't answer to All Might's words straight away, looking like he needed a moment to process everything. Everything inside of him telling him All Might was lying. However, Y/N knew All Might was never a liar. If it was someone else, then he wouldn't believe them. The case was completely different with All Might, though. All Might's suprise when Y/N asked him about this seemed genuine as well. All of it made him realize All Might was indeed saying the truth about the Nomus.
"Fuck..." The h/c haired boy broke himself out of his silent state at this realization. His blank tone and anger were completely gone from his tone. He now sounded like a normal teenage boy who just found out something terrible. All Might studied Y/N's reaction, seeing his expression. The h/c haired boy seemed absolutely disgusted and horrified by this information. This boy, despite everything he did, still had some humanity left in him.
Alice looked at Y/N with a worried look on her face as she reached out towards him, "Y/N...?"
"L-Let's just get out of here." Y/N paid no attention to the worried look on her face and the way she wanted to reach out to him. Just as he climbed on top of Cyborg, he felt a wave of disgust go through his body even if he knew Cyborg wasn't made from a civilian corpse.
"Y/N. There's something else you need to know." All Might told Y/N as Alice and Kasai quickly joined Y/N on Cyborg's back, "You care deeply about Shigaraki. Don't you? If that's the case, then I think you should know about this."
Y/N glanced at him for a second, "W-What?"
"All For One wants to take over his body. Do you really think you can fight for someone who wants to do this to someone you claim to consider your own brother?" All Might voiced what he wanted to say to him before parting ways. Y/N gave him no reply, keeping himself in a silent horrified state as he shifted his attention away from him to Cyborg and ordered him to take them away.
The Nomu took off into the air a second later, leaving All Might all alone in the street. The former number one hero sighed, deciding there was no reason to keep himself out in the open like this and went back to his car. He went back to his car and started it up as quickly as he could. The eletronics in his car were back on as well. He began to drive again in the direction he was heading towards before Y/N interrupted him.
The direction would take him straight to Camino Ward...
Y/N kept himself throughout his flight on Cyborg's back as his Nomu was taking him and the rest of the group in the direction Kasai had pointed them towards on his map. Even if Alice and Kasai called out a few times to him in the futile attempts of trying to talk with him. Y/N blocked everything, not wanting to talk right now as he entirely focused himself and his thoughts on what All Might told him about the Nomus.
He shook his head, feeliing utter disgust and horror refusing to leave his thoughts and his body. For all this time, he was really using the civilians bodies as his weapons. He would be okay with it if they were made out of heroes and villains, like in Cyborg's case as he always viewed everything between him and heroes as a conflict between two sides like a war game and saw it as necessary sacrifices. But the civilians were someone he never wanted to get caught up in it.
The h/c haired boy felt more disgust filling his body as he found himself thinking about it more and more. How many civilians were used to make the Nomus? Were they using just adults to make the Nomus? Y/N felt dread filling his body at this question. Were children used to make Nomus as well? If that was the case, then it would mean his side was experimenting on children. Just like a certain person who he greatly despised and swore to kill.
It would make him no better than Overhaul...
Y/N clenched his heart, feeling like she was about to vomit from the disgust he felt right now but managed to keep himself composed. He found himself thinking back to everything he heard from All Might during their conversation a second later and asked himself if it would be better if he never had this conversation with the former number one hero...

The return of Gentle Criminal happened in the anime and it was everything I wanted it to be.
More episodes of the Nier anime came out and I can say only one thing. Fuck. What happened there, especially with Pascal and his village, was much more hearthbreaking than what we got in the game. Yoko Taro really likes to torture us...
