An Encounter
Everything in Alice's apartament was silent following what happened in the bathroom between her and Y/N. Once she was done calming him down, Y/N asked her if she can leave him alone in the bathroom so he can have his shower. Alice was unsure whether leaving him alone was a good idea or not. Him breaking down in the bathroom the way he did showed her he was not well right now and leaving him alone in such distress wouldn't have been the smartest thing to do.
However, she knew not listening to his pleadings would have not been the smartest move either. She already barely managed to convince him not to leave her apartament straight away and her trying to force it could have made him leave straight away. She didn't want this to happen and didn't want to take the risk of it happening. She knew Y/N probably wouldn't want her to be next to him when he would be taking his shower as well. This is why she left him in the bathroom after comforting him for what felt like an eternity, but in reality was just half an hour.
Even if she left him inside the bathroom, she remained closed to the doors for the first few minutes of his shower just in case something else would happen. When nothing happened, she walked away from the bathroom and went to the living room. Wanting to make everything easier to process to her, she did what she knew would make it easier for her. She walked over to a record player and turned it on, not changing or checking what kind of disc was in it as she already knew what he should expect.
The music started to play a second later, covering her apartament with a beautiful classical song composed by Mozart himself as she sat down at the table and left herself with her thoughts. She had something else she had to think about here as well. It was a letter she saw Y/N reading when she checked on him in the bathroom. Before leaving him alone in the bathroom, she made sure to grab it and to see what it was.
He placed the letter in front of herself, beginning to read it and sighed the further she read into it. From the handwriting, she could tell the letter came from a child who was still trying to get the hang of writing and she could tell this Eri, whoever she was, cared about Y/N a lot. Each word of her letter said that and she knew how much it must have hurt Y/N to read what she had to say to him. He must have care a lot about her as well if the letter got such reaction out of him.
"Hey. I'm back." Y/N's voice rang through her ears a second as she looked up from the letter and saw him entering the living room through the doorway. She saw him drying his overgrown hair with a towel. He wore much less clothes as well. His hoodie and shirt were gone, leaving him shirtless and his socks were gone as well, leaving him barefooted. If he didn't only have his jeans as his pants, then he would probably put on something shorter as well.
Alice kept her gaze on him, blushing a bit from the view of him being shirtless as she placed the letter on the table, "How are you doing now?"
"I'm fine." Y/N replied he pulled the towel away from his head. It allowed Alice to see the state of his face. His eyes were all red from all the crying he did before his shower. This in addition to the bags under his eyes made him look terrible, "Just needed a moment to compose myself."
"You know this is not what I'm talking about." Alice told him as Y/N placed the towel on the table and sat down on the table across from hers, "Excuse me if I'm being too pushy right now, but I feel like I need to adress this. You passed out yesterday and now you had a breakdown in the bathroom?"
Y/N tensed up slightly, not liking where this was going as he could tell where Alice was going with her words, "What about it?"
"What's wrong with you?" Alice voiced her concern to him, "I can see tell there's something bothering you."
Y/N sighed, his shoulders slumping as if the weight of her words was physically pressing down on him. He pinched the bridge of his nose, knowing he should have expected this kind of question from Alice after what happened in the bathroom. Why couldn't see hold himself back in after reading the letter? If he held himself long enough to go under the shower, then Alice wouldn't have hear him crying and wouldn't be trying to talk with him about it.
He looked around them, trying to find something he could direct the conversation towards and saw Eri's letter laying in front of Alice. He quickly addressed it to Alice, "You read it?"
"Yes. I did. I'm sorry. I wanted to see what this letter was as I saw how you reacted to it." Alice nodded in confirmation with an apologetic look on her face. She placed her hand on the letter and slided it towards Y/N as she wanted him to have it back. She stopped it in front of him and moved her hand back to herself, "Who was this Eri? From what she wrote you here, I assume you must have helped her in the past."
Y/N stayed silent for a moment, picking up the letter and reading it one more time. Letting out a sigh, he shifted his gaze from it to Alice and gave her his answer. He spared her all the details regarding Overhaul, not wanting to talk about him, "You could say that. She was abused by someone who was supposed to look after her. I promised to keep her safe and it was exactly what I did. I made sure she'll be looked after by someone I thought I could trust as well. However she saw me as, it doesn't matter right now. She probably hates me now after everything I did."
"Is this what made you break down in the bathroom?" Alice asked as Y/N stayed silent, not wanting to confirm this to her even if his silence was all the confirmation the blonde haired woman needed to get. Her gaze softened in concern and sympathy, "Is this what's been haunting you, Y/N? The thought that she hates you?"
Y/N continued to stay silent, lowering his head a bit as his silence continued to confirm all of Alice's assumptions. He didn't confirm everything to her, though. If only she knew the letter wasn't the only reason why he broke down the way it did. The letter was just one of the factors behind it and the final straw for Y/N. It was the final breaking point he was on the edge of for the last few days. It made him question himself what would happen if the read it when whe was still with the rest of the Leauge.
Alice's gaze remained filled with concern as she reached her hand out towards Y/N's and grabbed it into hers to make sure his attention was on her, "Y/N. I'm sure she doesn't hate you. Even with everything you did, you still saved her from her abuser. A child doesn't forget about stuff like this. Just like you saved me yesterday. It's something I will never..."
"How can you know she doesn't hate me? You read the letter yourself." Y/N cut her off, "You saw what she expected from me and you know the worst part about it? I still wouldn't have given her what she wanted. I can't abandon my goal for her. Not when I got so far and after everything I did to achieve it. I don't think there's any sense of talking with the heroes about any other way of achieving it as well. They already showed me what they would prefer to do instead of talking with us. I tried talking with heroes on the battlefield and they refused to listen to me. All they gave me was some heroic bullshit of how I need to be stopped in reply. "
The h/c haired boy bit his lip, finding himself thinking about Izuku as Alice stared at him silently, "Even someone who I thought would be more understanding showed me he is just like the rest of them and I have no idea what to think of him right now. I don't even want to go into details of everything he said to me. I never thought I will punch him for saying something to me..."
"Y/N?" Alice called out for for him at his sudden silence.
Y/N shook his head, taking himself away from his thoughts regarding Izuku as addressed the letter again, "Even if somehow you're right and somehow she doesn't hate me, it doesn't change the fact that I failed her. She was so hopeful regarding me and I ruined her hope. I failed her. Just like I failed everyone else who put their trust in me."
Alice raised her brow at his choice of words. It made her realize it wasn't just about letter and Eri. It was more than that, "Is this about Hawks?"
Y/N looked slightly suprised by her guessing it straight away, "How do you know?"
"I'm watching the news daily. I know he was a mole in your army." Alice explained, "You couldn't have know he will..."
"Yes. I could have. I suspected him from the moment I laid my eyes on him." Y/N told her, "I even warned him not to try anything and it still wasn't enough. I should have acted instead of giving him benefit of the doubt and look what happened because of it. Jin-kun and Tengai-kun trusted me with their lives and now they're dead because of my mistake."
Alice shook her head at him with a pity filled look on her face as she went back to what she was saying before Y/N cut her off, "You still couldn't have know what will happen. Hawks was a number two hero. Who could have predicted he will kill two of your friends. No one could. I'm sure his fellow heroes weren't expecting that from him neither. Whatever happened there, I'm sure it wasn't your fault."
"Yes. It was. You're not saying that because you weren't there." Y/N refused to admit otherwise, "I was supposed to be their leader and everything bad which happens is always my fault."
Alice frowned, not willing to let him off so easily, "Y/N, being a leader doesn't mean you can control everything. You did what you thought was right. Second-guessing yourself won't bring Jin-kun or Tengai-kun back."
Y/N clenched his hands on the table, "But it feels like I failed them. Like I let them down when they needed me the most. Jin-kun was my best friend in the League and the third closest person to me in it after my girlfriend and my brother. I adored him for as long as I knew him and now he's dead because of me. Be happy you haven't seen how Rappa reacted to Tengai's death as well. Seeing Rappa, out of all people, acting like this was just so painful to see. I don't even want to talk about my brother who trusted me with everything. He got burned alive because of me.."
"Y/N..." Alice began to say as she squeezed his hand. The feeling of Y/N's skin showed her just how badly he was doing as well. Something about it just felt off, "You can't let what happened to them destroy you. They wouldn't want that, would they? Don't let their sacrifice be in vain. They were with you and the League because they believed in you and you need to believe in yourself too."
Alice kept kept squeezing Y/N's hand as she went further into her words, "Think about this abused girl you care so much as well. Even if she stopped to view you as her hero, it doesn't mean you're not a hero to the other people. You're a hero to me. You're a hero to many other people like us. No one cared about us until you put on your mask and started to make yourself known to this country. People are finally taking notice of our struggles because of you and your doings. "Despite everything, there are still people out there who believe in you and will keep believing in you."
Y/N looked touched by her words for a second, looking like he was thinking about something. His expression fell a second later. He took a deep breath, trying to calm the turmoil inside him., "...I see."
Alice raised his brow, not knowing what to make of his reaction, "Is everything alright now?"
"Yes. I just need to think." Y/N replied as Alice stared at him with the same silent concern on her face. If she was honest with herself, she had no idea if he was saying the truth here or not. Due to the expression he had on his face before giving her his answer, she hoped it would be the former. The h/c haired boy tried to change the subject of the conversation a second later, "How about we'll talk about something else now? I don't really want to talk about it more."
"Of course." Alice nodded at him, not wanting to push him further than she already did, "What do you want to talk about?"
Y/N didn't gave her an answer straight away as he tried to come with what they should talk about. He got an idea a second late, "Just tell me something about yourself. I'm staying at your place right now and I still don't know anything about you aside from your name and you being Quirkless like I used to be."
"I'm not that really interesting. Sorry." Alice replied as she looked at him with a bitter smile on her face. A complete constrast of her behavior until now, "You could say I'm a nobody. I haven't done anything with my life like you have."
Y/N looked slightly taken aback by her answer, "What do you mean? I'm sure there's something you can tell me about yourself."
"I'm afraid there isn' much to tell you." Alice gave him a similiar answer as she adjusted the hair around her forehead a bit almost as if she was trying to hide something and making sure it would remain hidden, "I'm just an average woman you'd pass on the street and pay no attention to who was raised by her grandpa."
Y/N raised his brow, "You were raised by your grandpa? What happened to your parents?'
"They died when I was a kid. My grandpa from my mother's side was the only one who could take care of me." Alice explained. He smiled a bit fondly at the thought of her grandpa. Her smile faded away a second later, though as she thought about the rest of her family, "The rest of my family wasn't exactly fond of my parents and were no contact with them ever since I was born."
"What? Why?' Y/N asked.
Alice sighed sadly, "My parents were two women who were raised in families who weren't fond of people like them. My grandpa was the only one who accepted them. This is why I live in Japan as well. My mother was Japanese and my mum was American. They didn't even show up for their funeral due to how disgusted they were by them."
"I see." Y/N nodded in understanding as he looked Alice with sympathetic look on his face. Despite him not feeling anything when his parents died, he could already tell Alice's mothers were people who cared about her. He didn't ask Alice how was she born, despite her parents being two women as he knew it would be rude. He knew it could be done through a medical procedure as well, "I'm sorry you lost them."
Alice nodded at him gratefully and let out a saddened sigh, "To be honest I can't even remember either of my moms due to how young I was when they died. For as long as I can remember, it was just my grandpa and me against the world. Despite being an eldery man, he did everything he could to raise me. He even infected me with his passion for classical music."
"Is this why this music has been playing since I entered this room and why you have a collection of it in your room?" Y/N wanted to be sure.
"Yup." Alice smiled at him and nodded in confirmation. Her smile faded away a second later, "He left everything he had to me when he passed away two years ago when I was 19 as I'm 21 now. I really miss him. He was the only person in my family I had any contact with as well. The rest of my family never reached out to me and to be honest I'm not interested in having a relationship with them as well. Not the way they treated my moms."
"That makes us both." Y/N nodded in agreement as his sympathetic look grew. Afte all, he knew better than anyone how it felt like not want to have anything to do with your family. It's not like they were his family. He had family someplace else, "I'm not interested in seeing the rest of my family as well. I don't think they aren't interested in meeting be as well but I still wouldn't have met them even if they were interested in doing so."
Alice smiled at him, "I suppose we both have something in common, then."
"Yeah." Y/N slightly smiled back at her. His smile faded away a second later as his expression grew more serious, "Listen, Alice. As much as I appreciate everything you did for me today, I can't stay here for any longer. I'll have to get going soon. There are still some matters I need to take care of out there."
Alice's gaze down went towards the floor for a second, looking like she was trying to make a decision on something. She looked back up at him a second later and voiced what she had in mind to him, "Let me come with you."
Y/N raised his brow at her sudden request, "What?"
"You heard me right." Alice nodded at him in confirmation, "I've been thinking about it since I laid you down in my bed yesterday. I want to come with you. I want to help you in whatever you will do from now on."
Y/N looked uncertain about it, "Are you sure about it? You know it can be..."
"Yes. I know it can be dangerous. I knew about it for as long as this thought crossed my mind." Alice once again nodded in confirmation, "Despite that, I still want to come with you. If this is a chance to finally make sure the Quirkless people will be treated equally, then I want to help in making sure that will happen."
Y/N stared at her with a thoughtful look on his face, wondering what to do here before making his choice, "...Fine. Let's get ready and go to the roof. I'll tell Cyborg you'll be coming with us so he won't have a problem with you."
"Alright. Thank you for this. I promise that you won't regret this." Alice smiled at him gratefully as she got up from the seat and walked out of the living room, making her way towards her room to get herself ready to leave with Y/N. Y/Nsighed, watching her leave the living room as he got up from his seat as well and made his way back to the bathroom where he had left his clothes. He had no idea if taking Alice with him was a good idea. But he hoped everything will turn out fine in the end...
-----
Overhaul kept his head low, leaning against the wall in a dark alleyway near the hospital where his boss was placed following the fall of the Shie Hassaikai. He sat on the ground, leaving himself with his thoughts as Kurono stood at the edge of the alleway, looking out of his cover towards the hospital every few seconds as he waited for their target to arrive. The two of them were keeping their eyes on this hospital since yesterday, trying to come up with a way both of them could enter it without raising anyone's suspicions.
Today was the day they would act as Kurono informed him last night about him having to come up with a plan after his observations yesterday. The research he did regarding this hospital and it's staff helped him with coming up with it this soon as well. His plan involved using a nurse which worked in the hospital to infiltrate it and have her bring them to old man's room without anyone asking them for their names.
Kuruno learned a bit more about this woman as well. The woman was named Hinano Muramatsu and worked in the hospital as a nurse It made everything perfect for them. They could use her to find out where the boss was located and be taken to his room while looking as normal guests and afterwards use sneak their way into the security room and delete all the trail they would leave in the hospital. They didn't worry about the security guard they would most likely encounter in the security room as Kuruno already prepared himself to kill anyone who would stand in their way.
The former yakuza blood left himself with his thoughts as he kept repeating the plan in his mind and focused himself on the part where he will finally see his old boss. For the first time since Shigaraki and the League took away his arms, he felt a tiny bit of happiness in his body. He couldn't believe it. He was actually so close to seeing him right now. Even if they'll caught performing this operation, he'll be satisfied as he would still manage to see his old boss.
"Kai." He got taken out of by thoughts by Kurono's voice.
Overhaul looked up at Kuruno, "Kuruno...?"
"She's here." Kuruno informed him, reaching down in order to help Overhaul get up from the ground as quickly as possible.
Overhaul nodded at him, getting himself up from the ground with Kuruno's as both of them made their way to edge of the alleway. The former yakuza leader peeked out of the corner and saw a woman in her mid 20's locking the doors to her car with her keys, "Is that her...?"
"Yes. Muramatsu Hinano. From the research I did on her, I would recognize her even if I had problems with vision." Kurono nodded in confirmation as he pushed himself into walk towards the said woman. He glanced over his shoulder at his leader as he added, "Stay close to me. I won't be able to carry you once we'll make ourselves known to her."
"Alright..." Overhaul voiced his understanding of it as he followed Kurono, keeping himself close to him. Both of them overheard Hinano having a conversation with someone over the phone, hearing it becoming louder the closer they found themselves to them but neither he or Kurono paid attention to it. All they were focused on right now was their goal and making sure their operation was a success.
Kuruno adjusted the knife he had hidden under his sleeve as he called out for the nurse upon finding himself close enough for them, "Excuse me."
Hinano stopped the conversation she was having on her phone, having just finished talking with whoever was on the other side of it and turned towards Kuruno with a questioning look on her face, "Oh, hello. Do you need anything, sir?"
"Yes." Kurono replied as Overhaul stopped behind him. He voiced his question to her a second later, stepping a bit closer with his knife ready to be pulled out at any moment as he wanted to be close enough to her before he'll grab her and order her to do what he wants, "Does your hospital accept any visitors today? Me and my friend would like to visit his father who was kept in the coma here."
"Yes. We do." Hinano nodded in confirmation as she looked at how close Kuruno was getting himself to her. She blushed slightly. She had to admit. This man was handsome, "Despite the state of our country, we're trying to maintain the visits as we know many people would like to be close with their hospitalized loved ones in the times like this."
"Alright. Good." Kuruno replied with a look of understanding on his face, "Could you take us to him, then."
Hinano nodded at him, "Of course. I'll just have to get myself signed up for the day and you will have to identify yourself with your IDs..."
"IDs? Too bad neither of us have it, then." Kuruno replied upon finding himself close enough to as he pulled out a knife from under his sleeve and acted before Hinano could react. He grabbed Hinano and wrapped his arm around her, holding her like his hostage with his knife placed directly against her throat.
Hinano's eyes widened, taken aback by what just happened. Her suprise was however quickly replaced by fear as she placed her hand on Kuruno's arm and tried to free herself from his grasp to no avail. She stopped after a second, "W-What? He...!"
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Kurono cut her off, pressing his knife more against her throat, "One wrong movement or one loud scream and you'll end up with your throat cut. Got it?"
Hinano nodded shakily with tears in her eyes, "W-What do you want from me?"
"We just need your help to see someone at the hospital." Kurono explained, not thinking about letting her go until he'd be sure this woman won't do anything stupid and will do what he wants.
"W-Why are you doing this, then?" Hinano stuttered out her question, "You could have do this like any normal person..."
"Let's just say me and my friend wouldn't end well if we did this normally." Kurono explained as Hinano's eyes widened a bit, having realized what he meant by this straight away.
The nurse gasped, "E-Escaped convicts..."
"Exactly." Kurono confirmed it to her as he leaned closer to her with his tone stone cold, "Now listen to what I have to say here. You are going to let us see who we want to see without all the necessary work which must be done for this visitation. You will afterwards help us getting the footage of us in the hospital deleted. If you'll give us what we want, then we'll let you go. Understood?"
"U-Understood..." Hinano stuttered out her understanding.
Kuruno nodded at her with his expression and tone staying stone cold, "Now I'm going to release you from by grasp. You will walk into the hospital with us and will act perfectly normal. Got it? Don't even think about running away as well. My Quirk allows me to slow down the movements of anything I hit. You'll be dead before any help reaches you."
"Y-Yes." Hinano once again stuttered out her understanding.
"Good." Kurono replied, pulling his hand away from her to free her from his grasp. He afterwards pushed her towards the hospital with his free hand, "Now get going. We don't have all day. The sooner we get this done, the better for you."
Hinano nodded at him, doing her best not to burst out into tears due to how scared she was right now as she pushed herself into walk towards the hospital. Kurono hid his knife under his sleeve and pushed himself into walk to follow her. Overhaul followed his example a second later. The nurse composed herself, trying to make herself look as natural as possible as she didn't want to raise suspicion among her co-workers. She knew how badly it could end for her and she didn't want to risk it.
The nurse looked over her shoulder at the two men who attacked her and forced her to comply to their demands a second later, allowing herself to take a good look at Kurono's friend who kept to himself and stayed silent. Her eyes widened a bit upon seeing the state he was in. He was handless. Both of his hands were somehow gone, leaving him with stumps. If she wasn't in such sitaution right now caused by him and his friend, then she would wonder what happened to Kurono's friend to make him like this.
Kurono took notice of Hinano looking over her shoulder at him and Overhaul and glared at her with a cold near murderous look on her face, making her flinch and almost stumble in her tracks. He must have understood her glancing at him and his friend as her trying to find a perfect to either scream for help and push herself into run to find one. She turned away from Kurono's friend a second later, focusing herself and the hospital she had worked at.
She entered the hospital a second later, letting out a deep exhale as she kept the door open for Overhaul and Kurono. She looked around herself with a nervous look on her face, seeing her friend working in reception. He friend looked at her, giving her a smile and Hinano smiled back at her and pushed herself into walk. Overhaul and Kurono followed herself, keeping themselves close to her and Kurono keeping himself at ready to punish Hinano if she'll do something she wll regret.
Hinano shook her head, knowing she can't use the normal means of locating the room of whoever Kurono and Overhaul wanted to see as it would be too risky for her and it would definitely raise suspicions from everyone which would end badly for her. She knew she could locate in some other way, though. She could find it in the archive room of the hospital. If the man they wanted to see was placed in her hospital not too long ago, then she wouldn't have to look through the archives for long.
They arrived at the archive room a few moments later and Hinano close the door behind all of them upon entering it. Kurono looked around himself after finding himself in the room and noticed a camera watching all of them. Not wanting it to bother him and Overhaul in their mission, he quickly made sure it won't watch them for any longer and shifted his gaze to Hinano. He signalled with his head, ordering her to get going.
Hinano nodded at him and made her way to the section of the archives where the files about the most recent people placed in her hospital were held, "N-Now. Just tell me who you want to see and I'll find his name here."
"The former yakuza boss. His name is..." Kurono wasted no time and instantly provided her with the name of the person he and Overhaul were interested in seeing.
Hinano's face went pale in an instant upon hearing this name. She lowered her head and let out a nervous, "Fuck..."
Kuruno quickly took notice of her reaction, "What's up with this reaction?"
"You want to see the old yakuza boss?' Hinano asked with nervousness and fear evident on her face and in her tone.
Kurono nodded in confirmation, "Yes. It's what I just said. Don't waste our time by asking questions like this."
"Why are you asking this in the first place...?" Overhaul asked with his eye slowly narrowed at her. Hinano felt chills going down her spine after seeing the way Overhaul had looked at her. It was the first time when he directly addressed her and she was already terrified of him. His blank expression was almost daring her to say bad news to him.
Hinano looked like she was never so scared in her life when she provided them her answer, "I-I'm sorry. Your former boss is dead..."
Overhaul blinked at her, "What...?"
"Explain it. Now." Kurono demanded from her, his ice cold tone vanishing for a second and being replaced with a mixture of anger and demand.
Hinano flinched in fear, "H-He passed away in his sleep last month. There was nothing we could do as it happened so suddenly and during night time. I-I'm sorry."
Overhaul and Kurono stared at her with stunned looks on their faces, keeping themselves silent as Hinano felt herself growing more nervous and fearful by their silence. The former felt his expression breaking slightly as he felt a wave of guilt hitting him like a truck. His mind flew back to what he did to his boss and how he caused him to go into this coma in the first place. He did this to repay his debt for everything he did for him and in the end he destroyed everything and caused him to pass away in the coma.
He felt tears forming in his eyes the longer he thought about it. He destroyed everything. His boss organization and his boss life. All of it was his fault. The worst part about it was him not even getting a chance to see him again. He lost everything. His father figure. His organization. His chance at seeing the old man again and talking with him. All of it was gone. All of it was gone and it was all his fault due to him putting his boss in the coma.
"...I see." Kurono broke himself out of his silent state with a stone cold look on his face, hiding the anger and fury he was feeling as he stepped closer to Hinano. He pulled out his knife, making his intentions obvious to Hinano as she had instantly taken notice of this. She backed away from him with a fear filled expression on her face and pressed her back against the wall behind her until reaching a dead end.
"W-Wait! Don't do it..." Hinano's pleading were cut short as Kurono grabbed her by her hair in a rough and angry manner and placed his knife against her throat, "...P-Please don't kill me. Y-You told me you'll let me go if I'll give what you want..."
"Yeah. I did tell you I will let you go if you'll give us what we want. The information you gave us was not what we've been looking for." Kurono replied coldly, looking into her eyes as he moved his knife along her throat, cutting it open. Blood started to pour out from Hinano's throat as Kurono released her from his grasp. Hinano landed on the floor like a ton of bricks, clutching her throat as she felt her life fading away until her eyes became lifeless.
"Old man..." Overhaul muttered under his breath as he lowered his head to make himself face the ground. He struggled to keep himself on his feet, feeling like his legs were about to give up on him.
Kurono quickly took notice of the way Overhaul was acting right now and wasted no time. He quickly went over to him and grabbed him to make sure he won't collaps on the floor, "Kai. I know this must be hard for you. I know how important the old boss was to you. However, you can't let what happened to him make you give up. All of this happened because you were unable to use your Quirk on him due to what the League did to us and our organization. We have to make them pay for what they did to us. For what they did to the old man."
Overhaul stayed silent, leaving himself with his thoughts as he found himself thinking about Kurono's words and what he said about the League. As he went further into his thoughts, he began to understand more of what Kurono said to him and began to see his second in command had a point here. He shouldn't blame himself for what happened and for not having a chance to talk with boss for one last time.
All of it happened because of the League. If the League didn't come into the picture, then none of this would happen. If they didn't destroy everything, then his plans of reinstating the yakuza wouldn't have fallen apart and his organization would still exist. If they didn't take away his arms, then he would be capable of waking his boss from from his coma and would get a chance to talk with him and repay for everything he did for him before his passing.
Instead of getting all of those things, he got nothing. He was left with nothing. All because of them. As he went further into his thoughts regarding the League and the fault they had in everything around him falling apart, he felt his feelings of guilt fading away and being replaced with the feelings of anger, rage and hate. All of those feelings were far bigger than all the feelings he had previously and it left with him a new desire. Desire of getting revenge on the League...
It was when he made his choice. All of it was their fault and he was going to make them pay. All of them, especially Shigaraki and Y/N, would pay for everything they've done to him. He was going to make sure of that even if it killed him..
The former yakuza leader kept his gaze on the floor for the next few seconds, looking to be deep in thought. He looked up at at Kurono a second later. His anger and fury was hidden underneath his cold facade, "Kurono..."
Kurono raised his brow at him, "Yes?"
"Whatever idea you have, it better work..." Overhaul's voice was stone cold when he gave him his answer. Despite Overhaul's tone being the way it was, Kurono could tell how rage filled his leader was right now.

Geten let out an exhale, walking deeper into the dark cave he had taken shelter in with the others yesterday as he was on the search for one person right now. This person was Dabi. After he revealed to Dabi both of them are related, he was trying to have this conversation with him but Dabi always brushed him off with excuses like using all of them moving to another hideout as a way of postponing this conversation to another date.
With them having finished moving to this cave and having finished setting up their base operations in it, he knew it was his time to try talking with Dabi about it. This time, however, he was not going to let him go off easily. This conversation was something which had to happen and postponing it more wouldn't do any good for both him and Dabi. He knew how Dabi must have been feeling right now. He felt the same when he first watched Dabi's video and found out he was his distant relative.
Skeptic and Kizuki advised him to have this conversation with Dabi as well. Neither of them helped him more other than offering him their advice. Theywere too busy with their own jobs such as locating the other surviving members of the Paranormal Liberation Front and spreading their message further. Slice told him he should have this conversation as well when he talked with her about an hour ago. She wasn't there to help him, though
If Geten was honest with himself, he preferred it being like this. He didn't want their help with it as well. This was something he had to deal with on his own. Even if he wished Re-Destro was here to advise him how to handle this matter. Now he really wished he had revealed
The white haired young man stopped in his tracks a second later, having just reached the end of the cave and saw Dabi stting there all by himself. His cousin didn't notice him straight away, looking to lost in his thoughts. He made himself known to him a second later, "Dabi."
Dabi pushed himself out of his thoughts and looked towards the source of the voice where he saw Geten standing. He let out a sigh upon laying his eyes on him, "You again? Let me guess. You want to talk about us apparently being related again."
"Yes." Geten nodded in confirmation as he stepped closer to Dabi after making sure his cousin had his attention to him.
Dabi rolled his eyes, "You really can't let this go? I already made it clear to you I'm not interested in talking about it now. We'll talk about it when I want to."
"And when that will be?" Geten asked him, keeping his brow raised and looking like he was wanting Dabi to answer this question. Dabi stayed silent, looking at him as Geten made his way to his cousin and sat down next to him, "You know it will be for the best for the two of us if we'll have this conversation now. If we'll keep postponing this conversation, it will just continue to bother us. The others will continue to ask us about this if we won't clear the air as well."
"Fine. As soon as it will make you leave me alone with it." Dabi reluctantly agreed to have this conversation with Geten, letting out a sigh as he could tell Geten was not going to back down right now. If he was honest with himself, he wanted to get this over with as well. Geten nodded at him, feeling both relieved and grateful about Dabi finally agreeing to have this conversation.
The two stared at each other upon agreeing to have this conversation, both of them waiting for the other one to start this conversation. Neither of them started it for the next few minutes, leaving both of them in an awkward silence. Geten cursed himself. He already had planned out what he will ask Dabi about at the start of their conversation. However, now that he actually convinced Dabi to have this conversation, he felt too awkward to actually say anything.
Dabi shook his head, knowing he will have to start this conversation in some way as he asked Geten, "So. How is the stuff between you and your side of the family like?"
"Himura family runs thick." Geten began his explanation, letting out a sigh as he started to think about all of this stuff, "In the old times, there was a Himura village Chef whose position enabled him to establish multiple branch families. Even the land reform had no effect on the family's wealth and pride. But the rise of the Meta Abilities marked the start of their decline and led to their eventual downfall. They despised the thought of diluting their bloodline."
"Obsession with pedigree plus dislike of heteromorphs, huh?" Dabi asked, "I feel like you could talk with our lizard about this. You'd find common language here."
Geten nodded at him, knowing it was the truth from the stuff going on with Spinner right now and went further into his explanation, "As a result, they kept marriages inside the family. Between members of different branches."
Dabi stared at him for a seocnd, knowing exactly what Geten meant by that. Inbreeding. His mind flew to his mom who came from this side of the family. Something inside him told him to ask Geten about it, "So my mom had to choose between marrying her cousin and marrying Enji?"
"Pretty much." Geten gave him a nod of confirmation.
"Fuck." Dabi shook his his head, letting out a sigh. Geten could have sworn he saw a hint of regret and sympathy on his cousin's face. He found himself thinking about his sister Fuyumi as well. Would she be forced into something like this if his family kept in contact with the Himura's?, "She never had a chance for a normal life with options like these."
Geten sighed as well, "Yeah..."
"At least now I understand what you meant when you said how blood in your part of the family runs thick." Dabi stated. He couldn't help but let out humorless chuckle. First all the stuff with Endeavor and him being a villain and now this and Geten being a villain. Their family was just so messed up and the situation in it was becoming more messed the more he learned about it.
Geten nodded at him and continued his explanation, "Closed off from the outside world, the Himura clan dwindled as time passed. The final nail in the coffin came when the main family began to sell itself off. When word of that got out, the remaining branch families scattered. I myself was one of them. It was when Re-Destro took me in and recruited me."
"I see." Dabi said in understanding as he looked away from Geten and glanced ahead of himself into the darkness of the cave, "He was like a father to you, huh?"
Geten nodded in confirmation, "Yes. He was the closest thing to a father figure I had in my life."
"It must have been nice." Dabi commented, "Having a father figure which doesn't give up on you when the first inconvenience in his way shows up."
Geten looked at him with a pity filled look on his face, knowing what was Dabi talking about, "Even if your father was like this, it doesn't mean you don't have family or anyone out there who doesn't care about you. You care about the League. Don't you? I saw what you did for Y/N and Toga by giving them Twice's stuff."
"I suppose. Those people grew on me in some way even if I didn't want to admit this at first. Mustard was like an annoying younger brother who constantly acted like he could kick you ass." Dabi gave him an honest as Geten nodded in understanding. Dabi glanced back at him a second later, having just realized something and asked him, "What's your real name?
Geten raised his brow at the name, "My name?"
"Yeah." Dabi confirmed his question to him, "You already know my name. It would be fair if I knew your name as well."
"I see. If you want to know that, then my name is Yukio. Himura Yukio." Geten nodded back at him and provided him an answer as Dabi nodded at him to show know he acknowledged his answer and made a mental note out of it, "Well, I told you what you wanted to know. Now it's your turn. Wanna tell me what you said to Y/N before he left? Anything you want to talk is ok with me. There's nothing really much of us to do right now as the others are gathering our forces and planning out next move."
-----
Grace smiled to herself, letting a small chuckle as she was having a conversation with Takuya, Inko, Mitsuki and Mitsuki's husband who was introduced to her and her husband as Masaru. Once she and her husband were done unpacking their stuff with Inko and Mitsuki's help, Inko and Mitsuki invited them out for a walk as they offered Grace and Takuya that they could help them get to know the safe zone a bit better by showing them around and could use this trip to introduce them to Mitsuki's husband.
Grace and Takuya accepted their offer straight away, having already been planning to take a trip around the safe zone and left their dorm with Inko and Mitsuki. The trip lasted about an hour as both Inko and Mitsuki showed them all the important parts of the place and and introduced them to Masaru after stumbling upon him. Just like his wife, Masaru was apologetic over what happened between Y/N and Bakugo and both Grace and Takuya gave him the same talk they had given to Mitsuki when she apologized to them.
Once their trip around the safe zone was over, the group of the three families decided not to come back to the dorms and decided to remain outside for a bit longer to hang out a bit and perharps try to get to know each other better. Inko, Mitsuki and Masaru knew a good place for it and they went into what all three of them called the more common part of the safe zone. This part of the safe zone mostly served purpose of a place where people at the safe zone met up to sit by the table either with their meals prepared by Lunch Rush or hang out a bit with their friends and families to forget about the state of their country.
Upon finding themselves connecting two tables to make one big table big enough to fit all of them and getting themselves some coffee to have something to drink over their conversation, all of them started their conversation. They mostly talked about the stuff you'd want to know about someone you want to get to know better. Inko talked about her job as a lawyer, Mitsuki talked about her job as a fashion designer and Masaru talked about his job in the medical part. Despite the part with Inko being a lawyer making Takuya and Grace slightly uncomfortable, the two kept smilling as this conversation was a nice of forgetting about the stuff they have to deal with nowadays.
Takuya smiled at the interested faces of Inko, Mitsuki and Masaru, taking a sip of his coffee before answering as now it was his turn "...Well, it's definitely been a journey. I've been in banking for over a decade now, and it's a mix of routine and new challenges every day. From managing client portfolios to overseeing loans and investments, there's always something to keep me on my toes."
"Sounds like something stress inducing." Masaru remarked.
Mitsuki raised her brow, "What's the most challenging part of being in the banking industry for so long?"
"The most challenging part?" Takuya placed his hand on his chin thoughtfully, "I'd say it's adapting to the constant changes in regulations and technology. The financial sector is always evolving, and keeping up with new laws, compliance requirements, and tech advancements is crucial. It requires continuous learning and adaptability."
Inko nodded in understanding, "I imagine you must have seen a lot of changes over the years. Is there anything which was especially memorable to you?"
"You have no idea." Takuya nodded in confirmation, rubbing the back of his head with a thoughtful look on his face to make himself remember all the memorable changes in his work he had to go through, "If I were to name anything right now, then it would definitely be the financial crises. They have been significant over the course of the last few years. Navigating through them was challenging but also a valuable learning experience."
Grace smiled at her husband and crossed her arms, "You always learn something new in your job even when you're experienced, huh?"
"You know it, Gracey." Takuya nodded his wife, smilling back at her.
Inko smiled at the scene, "Sounds like you're facing a big challenge at your job whenever it happens. Do you feel satisfied with what you're doing?"
"I do." Takuya replied. "It's challenging but also very rewarding. Helping clients achieve their financial goals, whether it's buying a home, starting a business, or planning for retirement, is incredibly satisfying." He smiled bitterly at the next part due to how it was affected by the current events, "The relationships I had formed with both clients and colleagues is one of the best part of this job as well."
Mitsuki leaned back in her chair with a smile on her face, "It's great to see you so passionate about your work. Banking might not be for everyone, but it sounds like you're really thriving."
"It's great to see you still find your work fullfilling as well." Inko added with a smile on her face, getting a nod of agreement out of Takuya as he shifted her gaze from Takuya to Grace, "What about you, Grace? Where do you work?"
"I work in engineering." Grace gave Inko her answer, smilling more as she thought about her job and how much she loved it. Everyone felt their smiles slightly growing at how happy she seemed to talk about it, "I mostly work in the projects related to the sustainable energy." She chuckled, "You can call me an expert when it comes to it."
Mitsuki smiled at her, "Really?"
"That sounds amazing, Grace." Inko commented, "What got you into sustainable energy in the first place?"
Grace took a sip of her drink before answering, "It was during my second year of university. I took a course on renewable energy technologies and I knew it was perfect for me as soon as I tried it out. The idea that I could help solve some of the world's biggest problems really inspired me. Not to mention, the technology behind it is fascinating."
"Tell them about your internship at that wind turbine company in Kyoto." Takuya added. The memory of Grace having an internship was special to both of them. Why? Because it was when both of them had met for the first time. They were going to the same coffee shop and just clicked it straight away after the owners of the shop decided to introduce them to each other.
Grace's smile grew wider at the mention, "Yeah. It was one of a kind experience for me. It was pretty taught, but it taught me so much about this job and it reassured me how this is something I want to do in life. optimized. I worked on a project that optimized the blade design to improve efficiency and seeing it working once me and the others were done with it made me so happy."
"She even infected our son with her passion for engineering." Takuya added.
Inko raised her brow in interest, "Really?"
"Yes." Grace nodded in confirmation, "He asked me one day about my job when he was much younger and I was more than happy to talk about what I do for the living with him. It ignited his interest in it and he began to ask me about it more often. You have no idea how happy I was when he came to me one day and told me he wants to work in the engineering field like me."
Inko smiled, "I'm sure you were."
"He even took a look into highschools which would help him with his interest and started looking into colleges with the engineering programs..." Grace's words died in her throat as someone behind Inko caught her attention. She paused for a moment, smilling a bit as she saw her son entering the common zone and wasn't alone. He was accommpanied by a pink haired girl around his age which was dirty in the machine oil.
Takuya raised his brow at his wife's sudden silence, "What's wrong?"
"Speak of the devil and he shall appear." Grace replied, pointing in the direction she was looking towards and everyone looked in the said direction where they saw Akihiko with his new friend. Takuya smiled slightly at the view, happy to see his son managed to have a conversation with as he and Hatsume seemed to have a fun time talking together.
Akihiko smiled at whatever Hatsume just told him as he glanced to the side and noticed his parents and three other people watching them from the distance with smiles on their faces. He glanced away from them for a second, feeling a small blush forming on his face due to the way they were looking at them right now. Letting out a sigh, he decided to check on them. He would deal with their possible teasing about seeing him with Hatsume later.
"Hatsume-san." He called out to Hatsume a second later as he shifted his attention back to her.
Hatsume raised her brow at him, "Yeah?"
Akihiko pointed towards his parents, "My parents are over there. Can we go there for a moment? I want to check on them."
"Alrighty, then. Let's go." Hatsume nodded at him as Akihiko turned away from her and pushed himself into walk towards his parents and the other three adults. Hatsume followed him, keeping herself close to him.
Akihiko stopped in front of his parents upon reaching them and set his eyes on them, "Hi mom. Hi dad."
"Hey, Akihiko." Grace smiled at her son.
"I see you two decided to leave our dorm." Akihiko remarked as he shifted his gaze to Inko, Mitsuki and Masaru. He narrowed his eyes slightly at them. He couldn't help but feel like their features were similiar to someone. He couldn't wrap his head around who were the people they were reminding him of, though. Maybe someone from the TV. He couldn't tell.
Takuya nodded in confirmation, "Yeah. We thought staying in the dorm for all the time would be a waste of time and thought we should try to get to know this place a bit better, like you did as we'll be staying here for who knows how long." He glanced at Inko, Mitsuki and Masaru and smiled at them, "We met some nice people around here as well and they offered to show us around."
"Don't worry about your stuff. We had set everything up for you in your part of our dorm." Grace added.
"Alright. Thanks." Akihiko smiled at his parents gratefully.
Grace shifted her gaze to Hatsume, "What about you? I see you found someone who showed you around as well."
Akihiko rubbed the back of his head, "Yeah. We bumped into each other when I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings and
"Your son is really smart! He would fit in with my classmates straight away!" Hatsume added with excitement becoming more evident in her voice when she added, "He gave me ideas for some wonderful babies as well!"
"Babies?" Grace raised her brow at Hatsume's choice of words as Akihiko blushed, placing his hand over his face to hide his embarassment.
Takuya smirked slightly at his son, "Akihiko. Is there something you'd like to share with us?"
Akihiko continued to blush in embarassment, wishing he could delete himself from existance now, "S-She meant her inventions! I just gave her some ideas on those!"
"Yeah. I'm a student at the support course and we talked about my inventions." Hatsume nodded in confirmation and raised her brow in confusion, "What did you think I meant?"
Takuya chuckled, "Nothing."
"A support course student, huh?" Grace smiled,"I can see why my son would get along with you."
Hatsume raised her brow, "What do you mean?"
Grace's smile grew wider, "Let's just say my son here is interested in engineering."
Hatsume's eyes widened at it as he shfited her gaze back to Akihiko in an instant, "Engineering? Why didn't you tell me about it?"
Akihiko rubbed the back of his head, "It never came up in our conversation."
"What do you mean it didn't came up?" Hatsume asked him, "Do you know how important this information is? It means you can apply for the support course in U.A soon."
Akihiko continued to rub the back of his head, "How to say say to you. U.A wasn't really high on the list of schools I had looked into..."
"What? Why?" Hatsume looked suprised by it.
"You see..." Akihiko began to explain to her, trying to find a way to explain to her how everything which went down in U.A from the start of the school year with the USJ attack to this point was the cause of it.
"Excuse me..." Their conversation got cut short by a slightly modified male voice. The voice all of them recognized as Ectoplasm's voice. All of them shifted their attention to him. His body language was grim. All of them saw it straight away.
Mitsuki looked slightly suprised by his sudden appearance, "Ectoplasm?"
"Do you need something?" Inko asked.
"I'm here to talk with the Okuda's." Ectoplasm explained his reason for walking over to them. He paused for a second, seeming to be suprised to see the Okuda family hanging out with the Midoriya and Bakugo families for a second. He shook off his suprise a a second later, knowing it wasn't the time to think about it as he had to focus on what he was about to do.
Takuya raised his brow, "With us?"
"What's wrong?" Grace wanted to know.
"I..." Ectoplasm once again paused as he tried to find the best way to word what he was about to say. He knew he should have asked Grace and Takuya if they were comfortable with him revealing this information in fornt of Izuku's mom and Bakugo's parents but something in the back of his mind told him there was no reason for it. Inko, Masaru and Mitsuki must have already known who Grace, Takuya and Akihiko were and would have found out about it either way, "Principital Nezu sent me to find you as something important happened and we felt like we need to inform you about it straight away."
"What? What is it?" Grace asked, beginning to grow concerned due to the tone of his voice
Ectoplasm sighed, "Your sister and her husband have been found deceased. The followers of your nephew got their hands on them and murdered them as some sick revenge for whatever they put through nephew through."
Ectoplasm received no answer to his words straight away as Hatsume shifted her gaze to Akihiko and raised her brow at him. Everyone stared at him in a stunned silence. Their eyes were wide, brows furrowed in disbelief or shock or both. The air felt thick as if the time itself slowed down for all of them following this revelation. All of it was the hardest for Grace, Takuya and Akihiko as they stared frozen with their eyes wide and minds racing, each of them processing this information and all the emotions which came with it.
"W-What?" Grace's voice became shaky as she broke the silence between them. She felt tears forming in her eyes. Everyone's gaze on Ectoplasm was a silent question as if they were demanding an explanation from him without uttering a single word. Her mind raced with various emotions and questions right now, but her mouth couldn't form any words. Everything pressed on her chest, making it hard for her to breathe.
Ectoplasm let out another sigh upon seeing her reaction, "I'm sorry Miss. but it's the truth. We know your nephew's followers were responsible for it as well as your sister an her husband had signs glued to them with the message how it was done for the Mask. I know this must be hard for you even if your sister was the way she was. We just knew this is something you needed to know."
"S-Sandra..." Grace muttered under her breath as her tears turned into a full sobbing in an instant. Even if her sister was the way she was and was a terrible person, her death still affected her as Sandra was still her sister and someone she was on good terms with for most of her life until last summer.
"Gracey..." Takuya uttered his wife's name in worry as Mitsuki, Masaru and Inko looked at her with pity written over of their faces. Akihiko looked at his mother with a worried look on his face as well as Hatsume kept her gaze on him, trying to make sense out of this situation.
Ectoplasm set his attention on Grace, "I'm sorry you had to find out like this, Miss. Is there anything I can do to help?"
Takuya placed his hand on his wife's shoulder, bringing her closer to him so she could sob on his shoulder as he answered to the question for her, "I really appreciate it but could you give us some space? We need it right now to process. My wife isn't in the right state to talk as well..."
"Of course. I understand you need some space now so I'll leave you with it. If you'll need someone to talk about it with, then we'll arrange a meeting with Hound Dog for you." Ectoplasm explained with genuine sympathy in his voice as he turned away from everyone and walked off, leaving all of them alone and giving the Okuda family space all of them needed right now.
Hatsume blinked shortly after Ectoplasm left them alone, having just realized something as she looked at Akihiko with a suprised look on her face, "...Wait? The Mask is your cousin?"
Akihiko looked at her with a nervous look on his face, letting out a sigh, "Y-You see..."
Ectoplasm looked over his shoulder at the Okuda family to see Takuya, Mitsuki, Masaru and Inko trying to comfort Grace the best they could and Hatsume questioning a nervous Akihiko about his apparent relationship with the Mask as he distanced himself from them. The Pro-Hero shook his head, letting out a sigh as he turned away from them. He couldn't help but feel terrible for the Okuda's. First their nephew who later became a mass murderer and a terrorrist went missing and now her sister who turned out to be a neglectful abuser was murdered.
Couldn't this family catch break?

Y/N looked up, seeing his eyes on the entrance to the roof of the apartament complex as he walked up the stairs towards his destination. Alice was right behind him. Upon making sure both of them were ready and took everything they needed with them, both of them left Alice's apartament with the owner of it making sure to lock the door to prevent any uninvited visitors during her absence and started making their way towards the roof where Cyborg should be waiting for them or rather just Y/N.
The h/c haired boy grabbed the door handle upon reaching the door, pushing it open and looked over his shoulder at Alice who remained closely behind him. If he was honest with himself, he remained unsure about his decision of allowing her to come with him. He would have preferred to be alone during his mission. He knew he couldn't tell her about it, though. Not after he gave her his permission to join him.
He eyed Alice's appearance after taking a look at her as well. Her outfit was similiar to what she wore when he met her the day before. Her outfit consisted of a black hoodie, light gray cargo pants and black shoes. Her hood was pulled over her head as well, leaving her forehead covered. The blonde haired woman even adjusted her hood a bit, making sure her forehead would be covered by it in addition to her hair.
He turned away from her a second later and pushed himself into walk again, entering the roof with Alice following him. The teenage villain stopped in his tracks again shortly after finding himself on the roof, looking around himself in order to locate Cyborg and he didn't have to look for him for long. He set his eyes on the corner on the left side of the roof where he saw Cyborg sitting in a crouched down position, looking to be in some sort of sleeping state if Y/N could call it. He didn't know how else he should call it.
"Cyborg." He called out for him upon laying his eyes on him and Cyborg instantly reacted to it. He looked up towards Y/N, having woken himself up from his state and moved towards him. He stopped in front of him a second later as Y/N slowly reached out to him and placed his hand on the top of his head, not knowing what else to do right now, "I heard from Alice you helped her take me here after I passed out and have been waiting for me to wake up. Thank you."
"Are you moving out soon?" Alice asked as Cyborg shifted his attention away from Y/N to her in an instant upon hearing her voice. From the way he reacted upon laying his eyes on her, it looked like the Nomu grew alarmed upon seeing Alice was on the roof along with him and Y/N even if he had seen her yesterday. Y/N could have sworm Cyborg was seconds away from summoning on his weapons.
"Don't worry about Alice. You saw it yourself we can trust her." He told the Nomu upon seeing his alarmed state as Cyborg shifted his attention back to him. Upon making sure Cyborg had his attention back on him, Y/N made sure to explain everything to him, "To let you know. Me and her talked a bit after I woke up and she decided to come with us. If something will happen to me or I'll be in danger, you can listen to her."
Alice raised her brow in worry, "Something happening to you? You don't need to assume the worst will happen straight away, you know..."
"I'm just trying to be cautious here." Y/N explained, keeping his eyes on the Nomu as Cyborg stared at him blankly. Taking it as the Nomu understanding what he had to say, he shifted his attention from him to Alice and asked her, "Now, I need to be sure. Are you sure you want to come with me? There won't be coming back from that. You know something like this is not something you can back away from."
"Yes. I'm still sure about this and I know the risks which come with this decision. Like I already told you, I had enough time to think about everything yesterday and I'm more than certain in my decision." Alice nodded at him. What instantly caught Y/N's attention was the absolutely lack of hesitation in both her voice and her face when she gave him her answer. It showed him he was going to need to take Alice with him now, no matter what and he knew telling her he had changed his mind was not one of his options as well.
"Alright. Let's get going, then." Y/N replied as he shifted his attention back to Cyborg who positioned himself in a way which would allow both Y/N and Alice to climb on his back. The h/c haired boy reached towards Cyborg, intending to climb on his back as he looked over his shoulder at Alice for a moment, "I'm gonna go first and you'll climb after me. Once we'll be on him, just hug my back and I'll order him to take off after that."
"Okay." Alice said in understanding as Y/N glanced back at Cyborg. Just as he was about to climb onto his back, he was interrupted by something or rather someone.
"Mind taking a few minute break before you'll leave?" It was when a female voice rang through their ears a second later as Y/N, Alice and Cyborg all shifted their attention in the direction of it in an instant. They saw a woman in her late 30's staring at them. Her hair was a mixture of pink and purple. Alice and Cyborg grew alarmed, the latter instantly getting himself in a battle position as Y/N narrowed his eyes, feeling like he had seen this woman somewhere before, "I grew suspicious about this place after I saw a Nomu out of all things resting on the roof. I figured out I will stay here for a bit and see if it has something to do with the League. Good to know my suspicion paid off."

At the start of the A/N in this chapter, I would like to address Overhaul's boss. I know what happened with Overhaul's boss in one of the recent chapters. Keep in mind, however, that all the Overhaul stuff in this story is something I had planned in advance long before this reveal. Changing it to follow what was recently revealed in the manga would have resulted in me needing to change everything I had planned for Overhaul in this arc. It would affect the other story points of this arc as well.
New opening and ending for season 7 are pretty good. The stuff was Endeavor was done well as well.
We'll be getting the seventh TF2 comic. It along with all the ban waves made me so happy.
Watched Ted's Caving Journal and it was such an amazing adaptation of Ted the Caver. The 'We should never have opened the cave' episode was genuinely one of the most disturbing and unsettling things I've seen in a long time.
Replayed Mass Effect and I had as much fun with as I had the last time I played those games (aside from the ending). It made wish the new game would be out soon as well. At least it made me think about the OC Insert idea I had for the original trilogy.
Started watching Frieren and I'm really liking it.
