After The Attack

It had been two days since the USJ attack and Y/N, Shigaraki and Kurogiri kept themselves hidden within the walls their hideout ever since they left the USJ as they were unable to make another move right now, because of most of the League's members getting arrested and because of the gunshots wounds Shigaraki had suffered during the attack. The remaining members of the League of Villains decided to lay low for now.

Y/N had to admit one thing about this attack. He was right to have second thoughts about it ever since Shigaraki and Kurogiri told him about it. He and Shigaraki both were extremely lucky to get out of USJ without getting caught by the Pro-Heroes. Not to mention the loss of Nomu which was a huge loss for not only the League, but for his Sensei who along with Ujiko worked hard on making sure it would match All Might's strength. There was one reason why he didn't saw this entire thing as a complete failure, though.

He didn't saw it as a complete failure, because he had shown his Sensei that all the time he had invested in him in the last ten months wasn't for nothing. He knew he couldn't allow himself to rest on his laurels, though. He knew had improve his endurance of using his Quirk as soon as possible as he didn't want to go through another headache in the middle of the fight. He got lucky at the USJ and he doubted Lady Luck will smile down upon him the next time he will find himself in such a situation.

At the moment, he and Shigaraki were playing video games on Shigaraki's playstation in Shigaraki's room. Normally, they would be playing another co-op game together, but Shigaraki felt like playing a different type of game today. Y/N assumed it was because he wanted to blow off some steam as he was still furious over his plans regarding USJ falling apart. That was quickly confirmed once they started playing Mortal Kombat together, because Shigaraki showed him no mercy and won a good portion of the matches he played against him today.

Y/N set his eyes on Shigaraki after losing another match in Mortal Kombat to him, eyeing the bandages his fellow villain had wrapped around his wounds. His wounds were patched up by some shady doctor which was brought into the bar by Giran after Kurogiri called him. The doctor who was brought into the bar by Giran turned out to be a woman in her late 20's who was wearing punk clothes.

At first, Y/N didn't know who this woman was and she didn't really introduce herself to him or Kurogiri, before going to Shigaraki's room to give his wounds the medical treatment they needed. After she went to Shigaraki's room to do her job, Giran introduced her to him and Kurogiri as Ayaka Okumura, explaining to them if they will ever have a medical proper and won't want to go to the hospital with it for all the obvious reasons, then they should call her as she was the best person to do this kind of job in the city. Y/N made sure to make a mental note out of it just in case if he will ever be in such a need in the future.

Shigaraki smirked behind his face-hand when the screen displayed his victory over Y/N. He shifted his gaze from the screen of his TV to Y/N, putting his controller aside as he did so, "You lost the bet. Go and get us something to drink."

"A bet's a bet." Y/N shrugged, putting his controller on the table in front of him and Shigaraki as he got up from the couch. Before he and Shigaraki begun their most recent match, they made a bet whoever will lose will have to go to the bar and get them something to drink, "I'll be back in a moment."

He turned away from Shigaraki and walked over to the exit from the room, before grabbing the door handle and opening the door. He walked out of Shigaraki's room, not closing the door behind him as he was planning to return to it soon. He made his way to the bar where he saw Kurogiri watching something on the TV. The misty villain shifted his attention from the TV to Y/N as soon as he heard him walk into the bar.

"Y/N." Kurogiri set his glowing yellow eyes on Y/N as Y/N walked over to the counter and sat down on his usual seat, "What can I do for you?"

"Shigaraki-kun sent me to get us something to drink." Y/N replied, "Can you pour him his usual drink and some water for me?

"Of course." Kurogiri nodded and reached into the counter, pulling out two empty glasses.

Waiting for Kurogiri to pour his and Shigaraki's drinks into the glasses, Y/N looked at the TV as he curious what was Kurogiri watching before he entered the bar and saw it showing some kind of TV news report, "What are you watching?"

"A TV news report about the USJ attack." Kurogiri explained as he poured some water into Y/N's glass, "I stumbled upon it when I was browsing through the news channels."

"It would be hard to not come across it." Y/N stated as Kurogiri reached under the counter and pulled out Shigaraki's drink, "This is the only thing the media have been talking about for the past two days."

He watched a few of the news reports about the USJ since the attack as he wanted to know how things were doing at U.A after the attack. 72 villains associated with the League were arrested and Y/N was slightly suprised by it at first as he had no idea the League had so many members until watching the news. None of the students got seriously hurt which couldn't be said for their teachers. Thirteen and Eraser Head received the medical treatment they needed and were going to return to their work at U.A soon, even though the latter was shown to have a good portion of his body bandaged after his fight with Nomu. Nomu was talked a lot about in the news too. Most of this stuff consisted of the mystery which was surrounding this creature.

"The villain suspected to the murder of the Pro-Hero Cyborg was among the villains seen at the USJ and was one of the three villains who managed to flee before the Pro-Hero could catch them." Y/N's attention was brought towards the TV when the news reporter mentioned him. He saw his police sketch which showed him in his mask appear on the TV, "His fellow villains referred to him as "The Mask". Shorty after the attack, this villain had been labelled a B ranked villain. Unfortunely, even though the codename and the allegiance of this villain with the League of Villains are now known, his identify still remains unknown as of now."

Y/N continued to watch the news about him for a few more seconds before the topic was changed into something else. It was changed into the news about the upcoming U.A Sports Festival. Y/N knew what it was. He and Izuku used to watch it together every year. He had to admit one thing, though. He was suprised to find out that the festival had not been postponed as he was convinced this would end up happening after the attack at USJ.

"Is everything alright, Y/N?" Kurogiri's question brought him out of his thoughts. Y/N shifted his attention from the TV to the misty villain, quickly noticing two liquor filled glasses on the counter, "You seemed lost in your thoughts for a moment."

"I'm okay." Y/N gave him an assuring nod, "I'm just a bit surprised that the festival will be on time. I was convinced it would be postponed after our attack in USJ."

"To be honest I wasn't really suprised when the festival was brought up for the first time." Kurogiri admitted, "The school probably trying to show everyone that it is confident it has all it's ducks in a row when it comes to crisis control. I can only imagine how high the security of the festival will be this year."

"I see. Makes sense." Y/N nodded, "They're also probably doing this to shift the media's attention from the attack to something else. This festival is a huge event, after all."

Kurogiri nodded in agreement, "Exactly."

"I should get going." Y/N grabbed the drinks from the counter and got off his eat, "Shigaraki-kun is probably getting impatient."

Kurogiri nodded as Y/N turned away from him and exited the bar. The h/c haired boy made his way back to Shigaraki's room and closed the door behind him after entering it. He walked over to the couch, earning Shigaraki's attention.

"What took you this long?" Shigaraki asked as Y/N sat down next to him and handed him his drink, "How long does it take one guy to pour a drink into two glasses?

"I stopped for a moment to watch the news which was Kurogiri was watching when I entered the bar." Y/N explained as he set his glass on the table in front of them and picked up his controller from the couch, "Are we still playing Mortal Kombat or are we switching to another game?"

"We're sticking with Mortal Kombat for now." Shigaraki replied after taking a sip from his glass. He put his glass on the table in front of him and grabbed his controller, "Be ready to have your ass kicked again."

"If you say so." Y/N said, readying himself to play another match against Shigaraki.

Y/N and Shigaraki exchanged glances a second before another one of their matches in Mortal Kombat started and jumped into action, the two villains doing their best to make sure their side won the match.

------

A few more days had passed since the USJ attack and Y/N spent most of his time in his room where he started to work hard on improving his endurance of his Quirk. He had to go through a lot of headaches because of this as he knew pushing himself to the point of getting a headache was the way of improving his endurance. This proved itself to be working as everytime he managed to last longer before getting forced to go through another painful headache by his Quirk.

He had finished another training session of his about an hour ago. He had gotten out of the shower several minutes ago and was getting himself ready to go out for a walk. He decided to go on a walk today because he felt like he could use something like this after spending most of his time in the bar after he was brought into the League. This way he could finally get to know the city where Camino Ward was located as he didn't really explore it until today.

He had switched his clothes from his villain costume to his casual clothes. His casual clothes consisted of a light grey hoodie with a black shirt with a white hand print underneath it, light blue jeans and black shoes. To this, he wore a backpack where he kept his mask hidden just in case if he will have to put it on during his walk and where he planned to put all the things he might purchase in the stores he might come across during his walk.

After making sure he had everything he needed for his walk which mostly consisted of him checking how much money he had in his wallet and how much his phone was loaded, Y/N walked out of his room and made his way to the bar from where he began to make his way towards the exit from it.

Kurogiri set the glass he was cleaning at the moment when he saw Y/N enter the bar, shifting his attention from his work to him. He immediately noticed his change of clothes, "Where are you going, Y/N?"

"I'm going on a walk." Y/N explained, continuing to move towards the exit from the bar, "I haven't been outside much ever since I was brought into the League by Sensei and I feel like I could use something like this."

"I see." Kurogiri said in understanding, "Watch out for yourself and try to not attract too much attention."

"Don't worry. I understand what laying low means." Y/N assured his fellow villain, "The only reason why I have my mask in my backpack is because I want to have it with me just case if something will came up and I won't be able to do this with my face uncovered."

"Make sure to let either me or Shigaraki Tomura know if something will came up during your walk." Kurogiri said.

"I will." Y/N nodded, "One more thing." He stopped in front of the exit and turned around to look at Kurogiri, "I'm going to need another training dummy. My last one fell apart when I was finishing my most recent training session about an hour ago."

"Very well." Kurogiri nodded his head at the request, "A new training dummy will be delivered into your room before your return."

"Alright. Thanks." Y/N nodded back, "I will get going. I'll be back soon."

Kurogiri nodded as Y/N turned away from him and opened the door. The h/c haired boy walked out of the bar, closing the door behind him. He put his hood on himself as he walked into the streets. He stopped for a brief moment and shifted his gaze between his sides, trying to decide which way he should go. He turned to the right a second later and pushed himself into a walk, beginning to walk forward himself along the sidewalk.

Nothing interesting happened for the next several minutes as Y/N just proceeded to walk forward himself, eventually taking turns to either to the left or the right, passing by various people who were minding their own business in the process.

The h/c haired boy stopped in his tracks several minutes later. It was when a certain place on the other side of the street caught his attention. It was a bakery. This place instantly caught his attention, because it had been a while since he visited a place like this and, because it reminded him of his favourite bakery in Musutafu which he couldn't visit anymore for all the obvious reasons.

Y/N nodded his head to himself, deciding to give this place a shot. He shifted his gaze between the two sides, making sure there wasn't a car anywhere near him and made his way to the other side of the street. He walked into the bakery and instantly noticed there wasn't anyone on the other side of the counter. They must have been busy with something in the backstage right now.

Y/N wasn't complaining about it and it gave him enough time to take a look at the baked goods and decided which one he should buy for himself. He eyed the baked goods on display, wondering if they will taste as good as the baked goods from his favourite bakery in Musutafu did. He nodded his head to himself when he decided what to buy. Now he just had to wait for whoever owned this place to come out of the backstage.

A man in his mid 30's came out of the backstage a moment later and stopped in front of the cash register. He looked at Y/N with an apologetic look on his face when he set his eyes on the boy, "I'm sorry I kept you waiting. I had an important phone and couldn't really postpone it for later."

The man behind the counter leaned his head forward a bit and narrowed his eyes at Y/N, "I've never seen you around here. Did you just moved in here?"

"Yes." Y/N nodded in confirmation as he came up with a quick lie, "I just moved here with my family and went out on a walk to get used to the surroundings and to see if there are any interesting places to visit in the area."

"I see." The man behind the counter nodded in understanding, "Have you found any place you like, yet?"

"Not right now, because I only started my walk several minutes ago.. Your bakery was the first place that caught my attention." Y/N explained, "You could say I'm looking for a replacement for my favorite bakery from my hometown."

"In that case, I hope you will like the baking I make." The man behind the counter smiled friendly at Y/N, "What can I get you?"

Y/N told the man behind the counter his order and the man nodded in understanding. He began preparing Y/N's order right away. He took the cake which caught Y/N's attention out from the display and cut a piece of it with a knife he always kept close to him. After he was done with preparing everything, he pulled out a small white box and put the piece of cake inside it.

"...Here you go." He said as he put the box with Y/N's order on the counter and told the h/c haired boy how much he has to pay for his order.

Y/N nodded his head as reached into his wallet and pulled out the right amount of money. He put the money on the counter, next to the box with his order, "Thank you." He picked up the box from the counter, "I'll dig into it as soon as I will get the opportunity."

"Watch out for yourself out here." The man behind the counter said as Y/N turned away from him and was about to head towards the exit, "I don't know if you know about it, but recently there was a villain attack not to far from here and the villain responsible for it still hasn't been caught. He recently made his appearance again when the villains attacked U.A. Perharps, he might be somewhere in Camino Ward right now."

"You don't need to worry about anything, sir." Y/N replied. He sighed internally. If this man only knew who was standing in front of him right now, "I'll do my best to watch out for myself."

"I'm glad hear it. I hope you'll like your order and come to buy something again." The man behind the counter replied as Y/N grabbed the door handle and twisted it, opening the door. As he was about to exit the bakery, Y/N heard how the man started muttering something to himself but could barely understand what he was saying, "...Those bastards couldn't even keep the students away from their schemes..."

The man behind the counter muttering to himself about the USJ was the last thing Y/N heard from him before walking out of the bakery. The h/c haired boy looked around himself, wanting to know if there was any place around here where he could eat his recent purchase. There wasn't. It seemed like his just purchased baked good will have to wait.

He knelt down and gently put the box with his purchase on the sidewalk next to him. He took off his backpack and unzipped it. He picked up the box from the sidewalk and gently placed it inside his backpack. After that, he zipped his backpack and slouched it over his back, before getting himself into a standing position. He pushed himself into a walk and walked away from the bakery, continuing his walk through the city.

------

It had been a while Y/N left the bar for his walk and the sun was already gone from the horizon, replaced by the moon which was blocked from being seen by everyone in the city by the grey clouds. When the clouds started gathering on the sky, Y/N thought for a moment that it was going to rain and began to think about heading back to the bar. Thankfully, the clouds did not turn out to be rainclouds and his walk wasn't cut short.

After ensuring he won't get caught in the middle of the rain, Y/N managed to visit a few more places during his walk before the sun came down. He almost didn't buy anything in any of the stores he visited during his walk. The only thing he bought during his walk were some ingredients he could use to make some baked goods in the cooking equipment he had in his room. He didn't know when he would actually use them, but still bought just to have them ready in the little fridge he had in his room.

He even managed to stumble upon a store from which he tried to steal the ATM machine to earn Cyborg's attention during the first part of his test with the alleyway where he killed the Pro-Hero next to it. He stared at the store for a few seconds after spotting it, but didn't enter it as he had no reason to do so.

When the sun came down, he knew it was time for him to return to the bar. Right now, he was walking through the neighbourhood of the single-family homes which happened to be on the way to the bar. He walked through the alleyway which on left side had entrances to the houses that were covered by a fence to prevent any unpleasant visitors from entering the property without the owner's permission and on right side had gardens which were covered by the fence too.

"...I said that I'm sorry. It won't happen again! I promise!" An unknown female voice sounded on the other side of the fence he was about to walk past, "Please! I don't want to sleep outside again!"

The sound someone landing on the ground after getting rougly pushed into it echoed across the area surrounding the house as another voice more mature voice which must have belonged to her mother replied to her pleading, "You should have thought about this before your little stunt! You can save your little pleading for someone else. It's not going to change anything."

Y/N stopped dead in his tracks right after he heard those screams and titled his head to the side to look at the house from which the screaming came from. A couple who walked past him a second earlier also stopped and brought their attention towards the house as well, allerted by this sudden screaming as much as he was. However, they didn't seem to be suprised by all of this screaming as much as he was.

"I hate you!" The unknown girl sounded on the verge of tears when she uttered those words.

"Well, I'm not a fan of you either and yet I am forced to take care of you until you'll be old enough to leave!" The mother's angered retort was the last thing Y/N heard before the door to the house was shut violently and locked to prevent the girl from entering the house again.

"Looks like Shiori's at it again." Y/N's attention was brought towards the couple near him once he heard the woman of the couple sigh and speak up, "She never leaves the poor girl alone, does she?"

"No." The male of the couple shook his head, letting out a sigh, "It's the second time when she locks out her of the house this week..."

The female of the couple shook her head, "Where are the Pro Heroes when you need them?"

Y/N couldn't believe his ears. Were those people serious? Something was happening right in front of them. A girl was being locked out of her house by her own mother to spend the night outside and from what he heard from them it wasn't anything new and they were doing nothing about it? They're just gonna walk away and pretend like it's not happening because according to them it's something a Pro-Hero should take care of it instead of them?

He shifted his gaze from the fence to where the couple was standing and saw that they were no longer here. They must have walked away and go on with their business when he was lost in his thoughts regarding what was happening on the other side of the fence. He shook his head. Those people really walked away from the problem displayed in front of them without doing anything about it, because according to them it wasn't something their job to take care about it.

A part of him was telling him to follow their example and forget about this ever happening but the other part of him was telling him to try to at least talk with this girl. Perharps it was because he could understood how this was feeling like right now. He knew how it felt like to have a parent who doesn't care about you. He had to deal with something like this his entire life from his parents. He knew how terrible of a feeling it was.

What made everything worse, from what he heard from this unknown couple a moment earlier, locking this girl out of the house for the entire night was a common occurance, he didn't want to think what else this poor girl must have been going through behind the doors of her house and the neighbours were either unaware of it or just decided to ignore it and wait for a Pro-Hero to take care of it.

He looked around himself after deciding to do something to help this girl. He saw two dumpsters standing a few meters ahead of him. He nodded his head to himself. This was place where he could put his mask on himself without having to worry about anyone noticing him put it on himself. He knew he could just introduce himself to her without his mask on as a normal civilian instead of a villain, but he preferred to remain anonymous to her if this was a possibility.

He made his way to the dumpsters and stepped into the space between them. He crouched down as he took off his backpack and unzipped it. He reached into it and pulled out his mask. He looked over his shoulder to make sure no one was behind him before putting his mask on his face. He zipped his backpack and slouched it over his back again before getting himself into a standing position.

He stepped out from his hiding place between the dumpsters, beginning to make his way back to the fence. He reached it a few seconds later. He looked around himself for one more time to make sure there was no one that would see him climb over the fence around him. He reached upwards, placing his hands on top of the fence and lifted himself up from the ground. He made his way to the other side of the fence, making sure to make as less sound as he could as he didn't want to allert this girl of his presence until he will find her and found himself on the other side of it.

He looked around himself in an attempt to spot this girl and saw her a few seconds later. She was sitting on the ground, leaning against the fence. She seemed to be around his age. She wore a dark blue pyjama and was barefoot. She had a long dark green hair that ran down past her shoulders. The unknown girl didn't spot him as she had her head buried between her legs, weeping into them as she brought her knees closer to herself.

A pitful look formed on his face when he started to make his way towards her, letting out a soft, "Hey." in order to gain her attention.

The unknown girl lifted her head up from between her legs as Y/N's voice instantly caught her attention. She snapped her head towards the source of the voice, thinking her ears were playing a trick on her and saw a man who had his whole face covered by a black modified paintball mask walking towards her. Her diamond blue eyes immediately snapped open as if she had seen him somewhere before.

"S-Stay away!" She screamed at him as his sudden appearance in the garden frightened her. She began crawling away from him as soon as she set her eyes on him with the intention of getting as far away from him as she could, reaching a shed which turned out to be a dead end for her a few seconds later, "D-Don't come any closer! I know who you are! I saw you in the news when I was watching TV! You're the Mask! You're one of the villains that attacked U.A and are a villain wanted for the murder of a Pro-Hero Cyborg!"

"I'm not here to hurt you." Y/N said, trying to tell her that he meant no harm as he took another step towards her, "I just came here to talk. I just oveheard everything that happened between you and your mother. I want to talk about it with you."

"W-Why should I believe you? Y-You're a villain!" The unknown girl asked, her fear filled eyes not leaving the villain in front of her, "F-For all I know you can be saying all of this just to lower my guard!"

Y/N didn't answer to her question right away as he didn't the proper answer to it right now. He shook his head. He should have seen this coming. He was a villain. Of course she would be suspicious of him, no matter what his intentions were. He knew he had to think fast because he doubted this girl would give him a lot of time to think of of the answer. He sighed internally once he realized there was only one way he could get her to trust him

"...I will show my face to you." He gave her his answer after a moment of thought. He aware of risky it was, but still decided to do it. "Not many people know who is hiding behind this mask. Only my closest associates know about it. Will this be enough to make you allow me to talk with you?"

The unknown girl considered his offer for a few seconds as she debated with herself if she should go along with this deal or not. Should she take this villain showing his face to her as a confirmation of him not having any ill intentions towards her? She would immediately reply negatively if the people already knew who was hiding behind this mask but this wasn't the case here. Even the heroes didn't know how he looked like behind the mask. If this villain didn't meant his words, would he really risk revealing his face to her?

She nodded her head at him, letting him know it will be enough to allow her to talk with him, "Yes."

This was the only answer Y/N needed to get. He lifted his hand up to his face and removed his mask from his face, revealing his face to this unknown girl. Her eyes widened the moment she saw his face, seeing this boy was no older than her. The media weren't exaggerating when they mentioned his age. The Mask really was a teenager. There was one thing she noticed in his e/c eyes when she eyed his facial features. It was pity. She saw genuine pity and nothing else. She couldn't see any ill intenions in his eyes.

"Y-You're no older than me." She pointed out in suprise after a moment of silence between them.

"You're not the first person to have reacted like this after finding out about my age." Y/N stated, "Can I sit down next to you now?"

The unknown girl nodded her head at him, giving him the permission. She was still suspicious of him for all the obvious reasons, but she was not going to back out of the deal she made with him as she knew not doing her part of the deal would probably anger him, especially after she made him reveal his face to him, which was something she wanted to avoid.

Y/N moved closer to the girl and sat down next to her as he received her permission. He leaned against the shed, his eyes not leaving the girl next to him. He made sure to not sit down too close to her as he didn't want to do anything that would make her more scared than she already was and make her do something which would allert people of his presence here.

"Can you tell why your mother locked you out of the house for the night?" He asked, making sure to not sound too forceful as he didn't want to force this answer out of her.

The girl replied with a nod of her head and began her explanation, "I-I wasn't looking straight when I was walking out of the kitchen after making myself something to eat for dinner and accidentally walked into my mother. S-She was drinking something in her favourite mug and me walking into her caused her to spill her drink all over her clothes and my dinner all over the floor. I tried to apologize to her for it, but she just wouldn't listen to anything I said. No matter how many times I apologized to her and promised her this won't happen again, she just wouldn't listen to me."

Y/N stayed silent for a few seconds, not knowing what to say to this girl after hearing the reason why her mother locked her out of the house. He just couldn't believe this girl had been locked out of the house for the night for such a bland reason. What happened with her walking into her mother was just an accident and she shouldn't have been locked out of her house for the night for this.

"How often does this happen?" He broke his silence a few seconds, wanting to know how many times this girl had to go through this kind of punishment.

"Everytime when I mess up in her book which she makes sure is as often as it can be. She punishes me for the smallest things, because according to her I am a monster and deserved to be treated as such." The girl replied as Y/N nodded in understanding, remembering how the couple from earlier mentioned this girl getting locked out of her house earlier this week. There was one thing he caught in what he had just learned from her. Her mother saw her as monster? Why?, "She just uses it as a reason to lock me out of the house, because she just can't stand me being in her house anymore after what I did when I was a kid. When she can't lock me out of the house for some reason, she just punishes me in some other way."

Y/N shook his head at her answer, "Why is your mother treating you like this?"

"She wasn't always like this. There was time when she used to be normal and didn't treat me the way she does now. There was time when she actually loved me and didn't hate me. After what happened with my father back when my Quirk manifested, she just changed completely." The girl explanation, wiping the tears marks off her cheeks, "She stopped seeing me as her daughter. She started seeing me as a monster that killed her husband."

"Killed her husband?" Y/N wanted to know what this girl meant by that. He tried not to show this to her, but this information actually suprised him a bit, "What do you mean by that?"

The girl hesistated for a second, debating with herself if he should tell him the whole story. It wasn't because she was suspicious of him. It was because she hated to relive those painful memories which is something she unfortunely had to do often because of her mother who always made sure to remind her of it. She ultimately decided to share the further details of the story with him. If she already told him what she had done, then she should tell him how it happened.

"I killed my dad when my Quirk manifested. It wasn't my fault. It just happened so suddenly neither of us had time to react." She began her explanation as Y/N listened carefully to everything she had to say to him, "My Quirk is called Weapon Creation. It allows to create weapons out of sticks and rocks. Rocks becomes grenades and sticks become blades or guns, depending on the fatness of the wood."

Y/N nodded his head, processing everything he had just learned from her.

"M-my dad." The girl's voice became more shaky at the mention of her dad, "Was really interested in the medieval times. He loved to share his passion with me. He'd often tell me stories of many important figures and events from that time period and I was always loved when he was telling me them. I would often ask him to tell me my favourite stories and he was always glad to do so, no matter how many times he had to repeat a certain story. Whenever we were going to the park, we'd often take sticks and play together as if we were knights in the medieval era."

Y/N's eyes widened upon hearing how this girl and her dad used to play together with sticks like they were knights from the medieval era as he was slowly realizing where this girl's story was going.

"One time when we were playing together..." This seemed to be enough for this girl as she couldn't take it anymore and bursted into sobs. She buried her head into her legs as Y/N slowly reached his hand out to her. She put his hand on her shoulder as she flinched upon his touch as if she was excepting him to hit her. She just wasn't used to people trying to comfort her, "I thought to myself about how could it be if we were fighting using real swords and this is exactly what happened. The next thing I saw was my stick turning into a sword in the blink of an eye and cutting through my dad's body. After that happened, my mother just changed. She became a completely different person. She started seeing and treating me like a monster."

"What about the rest of your family?" Y/N questioned, even though he already knew the answer. Many of his family members knew of his treatment at home and they weren't doing anything about it. It's not like got many chances to meet someone from his family outside his parents. His parents were never taking him with him whenever they were going to see someone from their family, most likely because of how ashamed they were of him, "Aren't they doing anything about it?"

"No." The girl shook her head as she continued to cry into her legs, "Why would they want to help me? They view me as a monster that killed her father, just like my mother does."

"What about other people?" Y/N asked her another question, even though he knew the answer to this question too. The couple from earlier gave him a good presentation of how people were seeing this problem, "No one ever tried to do anything about it?"

"No." The girl gave him the same answer as to previous question, "They either don't care about it or are waiting for someone else to do something or are seeing me as a monster who doesn't deserve help. This is how people at school, no matter if they were a teacher or a student, always viewed me as and maybe they are right. Maybe I really am a monster that should have never been born."

"It's not true." Y/N told her as soon as the unknown girl voiced her agreement with the people who were saying that she was a monster who should have never been born. He knew how it felt like to have those kind of thoughts. He used to have those thoughts himself before encountering his Sensei. They were always appearing in his head after another long harsh lecture from his parents about how useless he was for them. His Sensei made sure those thoughts were pushed out of his head shorty after they begun his training and always made sure to comfort him whenever those thoughts were returning to him.

"What do you mean by saying it's not true?" The girl lifted her up from between her legs and showed off her tear stained cheeks to him, "It's true. If I was never born, then my dad would still be alive and my mother would still have her husband by her side."

"What happened to your dad was something you had no control of and you shouldn't be treated like a monster because of it." Y/N replied. The girl looked at him in suprise, not used to people saying something like this to her, "You are a person and deserve to be treated as such."

The girl looked at Y/N like he had just grown a second head, allowing herself to process everything he had just told her. The girl let out a teary deep breath, her disbelief filled eyes staring at Y/N and did nothing else. Y/N stared at her in silence, waiting for her to do or say anything. She jumped up from her seat and shoved herself towards him, wrapping her arms around him. Y/N's eyes widened a bit as he wasn't excepting her to hug him.

The girl released him from the hug before he could even react to it. She looked at him nervously, fearing she had done something wrong, "I'm sorry for this sudden reaction. I just. I just I'm just not used to having other people tell me that."

"It's okay." Y/N let her know no harm was done, making the nervous expression vanish from the girl's face. She looked at him with a relieved look on her face and got herself back on her seat next to him. However, her relief was short lived as her relieved expression quickly disappeared from her face.

"What am I going to do now?" She asked herself.

Y/N looked at her with a questioning look on his face, "What are you talking about?"

"What am I going to do now?" The girl repeated herself, "I'm stuck here with mother and no one cares about what she is doing to me. You're the first person who ever talked with me about it without calling me a monster..."

Y/N waited for a moment before giving her the answer as he had to think about at first. He knew he couldn't leave her with her mother, "How about you come with me for now?"

"What?" The girl seemed suprised by his offer, "A-Are you sure?"

"Yes." Y/N nodded in confirmation, "We'll decide what to do next tommorow."

The unknown girl didn't gave an answer straight away and buried her head into her legs again, debating with herself what she should do now. She knew she had two options in this situation. Go with him or stay with her mother with hopes of another person showing up and offering to help her. She knew going with him would be dangerous, considering he was a villain. He might have been nice to her ever since they started their interaction, but it could have been just an act to earn her trust.

How long would she have to wait until another person would show up and take pity on her? A day? A week? A month? A year? Perharps even more. Perharps never. Perharps she will be forced to endure everything her mother is putting her through until she will be old enough to move out to live on her own. There was one more thing she was certain about when those thoughts flew through her mind. She was sure it would be a long time before someone will take their pity on her. If it will end up happening and she knew there was a high possibility of her never getting her chance again.

A whimper escaped her lips when the of having to wait for someone else to take pity on her and how much time might pass for it to happen flew through her mind. It was when she came to one conclusion. She was tired of waiting for someone to help her. She was tired of having to endure her mother and her treatment of her on a daily basis. She was tired of everything. If this was her chance to get away from it all, then she was going to take it, even if a villain was the one giving her this chance.

She let out a soft sigh, nodding her head to herself as she made her choice. She turned to look at Y/N and gave him the answer he was waiting for, "...I'll go with you."

"Okay." Y/N nodded his head after receiving her confirmation. He got up from the ground and kicked off his shoes which landed in front of her, "Take my shoes for now. Walking around in socks is still better than walking around barefeet. We will get you some shoes and clothes tommorow in the first good clothes store we will come across."

The unknown girl nodded in understanding as she got up from the ground into a standing position. There was one more thing Y/N noticed about her after she got up he hadn't notice before. She was quite voluptuous for a girl her age. The dark green haired girl looked down at Y/N's shoes as she grabbed them into her grasp and slid her feet into them. The shoes were a bit too large for her, but she was not going to complain about it as she had no other choice of footwear right now.

"Where are we going?" She wanted to know where Y/N was going to take her.

"I'll let you know in a moment." Y/N replied. He was unsure about their next destination himself as he wasn't excepting something like this happen during his walk. He was not going to bring her to the bar because he knew how bad of an idea it was to bring a normal civilian to the League's hideout. He will have to call Kurogiri and let him know he won't be coming back to bar tonight. He will also have to ask him to call Giran and tell him to find a place where he and this girl could stay for the night, "I think we should leave. I don't want your mother to see us together."

"Okay." The girl gave him another nod of understanding and shifted her attention from him to the fence, "Can you help me climb over the fence?"

Y/N nodded his head and came closer to the fence. He put his hands on top of each other in order to make it easier for her to climb over of the fence by having her stand up on her. He gestured towards his hands with his head, telling this girl to move without saying anything. She nodded back at him and stepped towards him, already knowing what he wanted her to do.

"One more thing before we leave." The h/c haired boy said when she put her right feet on his hands. The unknown girl put her hands on the top of the fence, only one move away from getting herself on top of it and looked down at him, "What's your name? I don't think you told me what it was. If you did, then I'm sorry, I must have missed."

The girl hesitated for a second before giving him her name, "My name is Jakuzure Origami."
