Forgot to mention that this version of Venom is a combo of two different incarnations of him. The base is his 2018 movie incarnation (but minus the white veins and toe claws). The white squares on top of his hands, and his spider symbol are based off of his comic book incarnation.

Also, since people in this universe have four fingers instead of five, I made him have four fingers on each hand in order to fit in with this universe's little physical difference. Because it's a cartoon universe.

Another couple of things I'd like to mention is that this version of venom has a bigger arsenal than his movie incarnation. Basically he's on par with Riot in this story. Lastly, while this is a Villainous story, the OC/Venom aren't joining Black Hat or anything. They may be an anti-hero, but they're not rubbing elbows with a villain like Black Hat.

Ok, now back to the story.

Atreno City, sometime in the afternoon...

It's been three weeks since Venom had first appeared, and stopped three muggers from doing anything heinous to Penumbra. He killed two of them, and left one of them alive with a deadly warning.

Once the police had found out, the mugger was arrested, and he had explained every gory detail to them of what happened. The cops didn't arrest Penumbra, because she's the victim of the muggers assault, and let her go.

In fact, he was so terrified that he was begging the cops to take him to jail.

After that, the sightings hadn't stopped there.

In fact, robbers, and thieves began to pop up while being bound by black webs. They weren't killed due to be lesser offenders. As for the ones that did suffer from the jaws of death, were more extreme offenders, and they began to add to a body count. For those in the middle, they either had broken bones, or missing limbs, and had managed to survive the monster's attack.

Soon, word began to spread about a jet black monster with sharp teeth, and a white spider symbol.

Both heroes, and villains alike began to catch wind of a monster who claims to be a lethal protector.

So far, no heroes have had an encounter with the one known as Venom.

As for the citizens, they're reasonably scared of this monster. Seriously, who wouldn't?

While everyone agrees that he's indeed scary, one third of the citizens see him as a hero, one third see him as nothing but a villain playing hero, and the remaining one third remain neutral.

Anyways, we cut to a store with TVs displayed in the window with a news report going on.

"The monstrous vigilante has struck again, and this time they attacked a group of henchmen belonging to the villain known as Dark Phantom. The brutal onslaught happened last night, and the henchmen are in critical condition. Despite the vigilante's efforts of attacking only criminals, the people of the city are still terrified of the nightmarish beast. We now go live on the scene with Gold Heart, and Random Reporter. Random Reporter?"

"Thank you, News Anchor. We're live on the scene where just last night, Dark Phantom's were viciously attacked by the murderous vigilante. Despite the fact that the monstrous being is protecting the citizens in a less than glamorous way, the people are of course still terrified of sharp toothed humanoid. There's even reports of people being on the fence of what their thoughts are of the vigilante. Some say hero, some say villain, and some are neutral to the thought of it. I'm here with the beloved superhero, Gold Heart, to get his opinion on the matter. Mr. Gold Heart, what's your opinion on the vigilante known as Venom?" Random reporter said.

Just then, a random bystander stood in front of the display of TVs.

The bystander is wearing a hoodie with sunglasses, and is carrying a duffel bag.

"Well, despite the fact that he's cleaning up the streets around here, he's still murdering people, and must be brought to justice for these heinous acts of violence." Gold Heart stated.

"There you have it, everyone. Gold Heart says that this "Venom" is nothing but a killer. He's not the only one with the same opinion, and others however do say otherwise until further notice. Back to you."

"Psh! What do they know?" The random bystander muttered to himself before walking off, and heading towards an alleyway with a dead end.

He keeps going towards the dead end, then suddenly sprouts four oily black tendrils from his back, and uses them to scale the wall. He then reaches a certain spot, then removes the duffel, and unzips it to reveal spray paint cans with what appears to be large stencils.

The tendrils then positioned themselves on the sides of the walls while the bystander grabs a roll of masking tape. A fifth tendril comes out to hold onto the bag as he then proceeds to place four strips in a large oval shape. Afterwards, he places the tape back in the bag, and grabs a can of black spray paint.

He takes the cap off, and shakes the can before he begins.

As he begins to fill in the oval with black spray paint, he thinks back on the past events that have led to this moment.

The guy with the spray paint can be seen walking along a street late at night, but is suddenly jumped by a group of thugs.

But while they were beating him up, a black goo can be seen absorbing into the guy, and he's suddenly beating the absolute shit out of the muggers as Venom.

One of them got their head bitten off.

Why have you chosen me?
Restless insanity I hope
But I know that I can't control you

It then shows Venom's head on a tendril, and the two are talking to each other.

And I didn't ask for this
I fear of what's at risk
A parasite in my veins
Communicating in my brain

It then shows the guy standing in front of a mirror, and half of him is becoming Venom.

I fear this darkness has consumed me
Thoughts are fleeting, racing away
A voice in my mind got me feeling confined
Saying it will protect me

The scene then fast forwards to when Penumbra was jumped by the three muggers. It then switches to another night where Venom is attacking armed robbers who are stealing an armored truck.

Life is changing before you

It then shows Venom lifting a huge piece of debris, preventing it from crushing a group of people.

Lift your eyes
To the skies
Fate has come before you

The scene then shows Venom web swinging throughout the city.

It then shows Venom on top of a building, and he's roaring to the sky.

The scene then cuts back to the guy who's still spray painting, only this time, he's switched to red spray paint while using a stencil, and it appears to be a long pointed tongue.

Something is changing me
Slowly but surely I grow stronger
Stronger than I've ever felt before

The scene switches back to the past, and shows the guy walking the street at night once again, his face hidden by the shadow of his hood. A group of muggers then jumped him again, and try to beat him up again.

This might be meant for us
To do whatever we must
Form me as you choose I give myself to you

Suddenly, the thugs are grabbed by black tendrils, then the guy's hidden face is revealed with white tear drop eyes, and he has a terrifying grin with sharp teeth.

You see this darkness has conformed me
Thoughts are clear now, take me away
This voice in my mind got me feeling alright
I know it will protect me

The scene then switches to guy, now as Venom, and he's beating the shit out of them! One of the thugs even brought out a machine gun, and tried to kill him with it. However, it's proven to be ineffective, and Venom chomps his head off.

The scene switches back to the present, and the guy is using a different stencil while using white spray paint.

Lift your eyes
To the skies
Fate has come before you

It then switches back to last night where Venom drops down from the sky, and starts to brutalize the henchmen of Dark Phantom.

The scene switches back to the past, and shows Venom taking on an entire swat team.

Lift your eyes
To the skies
Fate has come before you

The scene then switches back to the present, and the guy has finished his work.

His work, is Venom's face. His sharp teeth on full display, and his long tongue hanging out.

(End of the song).

The guy is now back on the ground, admiring his handiwork.

'I think you've really captured my good side, Shawn.' Said a voice in the guy's head, revealing the guy's name as Shawn.

"Guess you can say I'm a natural, Vee." Shawn said out loud.

'But you wouldn't have made it up that high without me, Shawn.' Venom pointed out.

"I'm aware of that, Vee." Shawn pointed out bluntly.

'Just teasing. Heheh. But we are gonna need more, black, white, and red spray paint.' Venom said.

"Wait, I get that we need black and white, but why do we need more red? We have half a can full of it." Shawn pointed out.

'Better safe than sorry. Even if it is just spray paint.' Venom said.

"Ok true. After all, a creative genius such as ours knows no bounds." Shawn pointed out dramatically, carrying the bag of cans, and stencils.

'That much is true. Now off to the nearest cafe! You and I are both starving, and must get food.' Venom said.

"You had me at food. I hear a chocolate milkshake calling my name." Shawn said.

'No, I get brain freeze!' Venom exclaimed.

"Oh relax, it's the triple chocolate supreme." Shawn said.

'Fine. As long as it's chocolate.' Venom gave in.
