Sunlight was sticking out of the curtains and onto your face.

This made you groan and wake up.

You tried to get up but was immediately pulled back down by someone.

You looked at the ceiling for a while and thought, ' This isn't my place.. '

You heard a snore from the opposite side so you faced it and saw Black Hat sleeping.

You stared for a while and then looked at the ceiling again.

' If I wake him up.. will he wake up normally or like Brian? ' You thought.

You wanted to wake him up but was afraid he'll turn demonic.

' Eh.. what the heck. Need to go home anyway.. '

You decided to face him again and shake him slowly while whispering his name.

This made Black Hat groan and hug you tightly.

It made you tense up but then got use to it.

You poke his face and kept repeating his name 'til he wakes up.

After a few failed attempts. He finally woke up and looked at you with his tired eyes.

You looked back at him.

" Uhh yeah.. could ya stop hugging me? " You said. Never breaking eye contact.

He blinked slowly and looled at you again but with a blushy face.

He quickly jolted up and got out of bed. Saying sorry in the process.

You said it was fine as you sat up.

He saw you looking around so he asked, " What is it? "

" How'd I get here and.. where's my book? " You asked still looking around.

You went to the bed and reached for the pillows and raise 'em to see nothing below.

It took a while for Black Hat to respond and then he spoke.

" O-oh! I.. I sent you here since it was getting late and you were fast asleep and your book is probably below the bed. " Black Hat said pointing at the bed.

You got down and reached in below the bed.

You got.. a tenticle.

You got.. a pizza.

You got... a ray gun.. ok.

And after pulling out weird shit below the bed. You got your book.

You stood up as you got your cap.

" Oh.. really? Well, thanks for that. Really appreciated. " You said as you put your cap and adjusted it.

" Well, I best be goi- " You said but was interrupted by Black Hat.

" W-wait. I.. I have an offer for you! An offer you cannot refuse. " Black Hat said confidently. Grinning at you evily.

You turned to him with an eyebrow raised.

" I would like you to be Dr. Flug's apprentice around the lab! " He said as he gestured to you.

You stared at him for a while.

" Isn't Dr. Flug like a scientist?.. why would ya want to hire an art making, singer, who does not have any experience/ don't know anything on making complex and evil machinery, to be an apprentice of a genius? " You asked as a little bit of sweat trickled down your face.

" No experience? Don't know anything  on machineries? I thought you would have known a few things on machineries because that book you have. " He said smiling as he pointed at your book.

You looked at your book then back at him.

" Just because I have this book doesn't mean it's for me nor does it mean I know how to construct something. " You said as you crossed your arms.

He smiled yet again and said, " Oh? But from that first time I saw you. I heard you yell something about stealing one of your minions money in order for you to buy some supplies for to build some sort of machinery? "

" I made Dr. Flug researched about you and your machines are quite impressive. Your favorite seems to bw the portal gun, I pressume? " He said raising an eyebrow smiling as he lifted his chin up. Still looking at you.

You blinked a few times and sweat begin to trickle on your forehead for he was right about that but then.. a questioned came to mind.

" Wait.. How'd you know about that? I didn't see no one there but me, my friends and Dr. Flug. " You said.

" Oh~? So you're not denying it? " Black Hat said as he smirked.

You gulped and he began to walk towards you.

You walked back of course. I mean... come on give me some space bro.

" Dude.. space. " You said as you put your put your book on his chest pushing him quite a bit but failing.

He smirked at you struggling to keep him away from you.

" Think about it. You can show your sciency self, sell your products, be yourself, make us rich! " Black Hat said as he tries to prevent himself for saying the last part which is,

' And you can finally move in and I can finally make a move. '

This made you think for a while.

' Sell my shit? No one's really interested in it. I doubt any Villains will even buy 'em. But.. perhaps I could give it a try.. ' You thought.

You snapped bacl to reality and look up at the smirking Black Hat.

You furried your eyebrows at him.

" Alright, but I'm just gonna say this. I'm an asshole. Probably gonna go away for a few days or weeks when I need some specific things to create an evil machine. " You said as you pushed him abruptly away from you.

Which made him stumble backward but then regained his balance.

" I'm gonna stay here for atleast a day and if I don't like it. " You said as you adjusted your cap again and put your frew hand on the pocket of your hoodie.

" I'm quitting. " You said coldly as you made your way out of the room.

Black Hat stared at you as you gone out of the room.

He smiled to himself and walked by your side.

Before you head out of the manor he told you that you start tomorrow and you will have to live with 'em if you're gonna work for him.

You nodded and went out of the house and walked all the way to your house.

At night--

You announced the news that you were gonna close your art commissions and music business and told the other news to your friends at dinner and they were happy that you had a job.

Although in the morning you said that you needed to live with your co workers and boss. You forgot to tell 'em since you were tired as heck and needed to sleep.. and now..

" Y/N!!! DON'T LEAVE US! " Mike cried as he tried to prevent you to go out of the house by hugging your leg.

You tried to walk out and get Mike off of you.

" Dude, it's needed m8" You said as you smiled at him raising an eyebrow.

" WHYYY" Sophie yelled in a sad tone as she hugged your other leg.

You groaned in annoyance and walked out of the house.

" Y/N. " Zac called.

You looked at him.

He was holding your old wrist watch.

You looked at him for a while and grabbed the wrist watch as you smiled at him.

You both brofist and said goodbye to him by hugging him.

" Hey, Y/N. Visit k? " Zac said pulling away from the hug.

You nodded.

You looked at Brian and hugged him aswell.

Brian then pulled out and gave you your backpack and your other bag.

You felt Sophie hug your leg tightly which caused you to look down at her.

You forcefully got out of Mike and Sophie's grasp and knelt down to them.

" Hey.. no sad face ok? I'll come visit whenever I'm on my day off, k? " You said. Comforting them.

They hugged you and you hugged back.

You then made your merry way to Black Hat's manor.

You adjusted your cap before stepping in the gate.

You then made your way to their door and knocked on it.

No one answered so you knocked again. This time calling Black Hat.

Someone opened the door. It was Dr. Flug.

" Oh! Y/N! Nice to see you here, my very first apprentice! " He said all cheery.

He then escorted you inside and helped you with your bag.

He then went to a room. The room where you and Black hat slept in but.. much more neater.

You then plopped your stuff down and so did Dr. Flug.

" By the way, Y/N. Here are your lab coats. " He said handing you 2 lab coats and other equipments.

You grabbed them from him and thanked him, examining the fabric.

" Well, you should wear one already. Black Hat's kinda impatient and he needs to say a few things to you. " He said heading to the door.

He then turned his to you and said, " I'll be in the lab if you're ready." and he added some directions on where the lab is and left.

You then looked at the lab coats again and placed one on the bed.

You put on the lab coat over your T-shirt.

You then grabbed the wrist watch and your portal from your bag. Putting on the wrist watch on and hiding your portal gun inside your lab coat.

You looked at the other equipments Dr. Flug gave you and grabbed them, thinking.

You were too lazy to put the other things so you just shrugged looking at them.

' I don't need 'em right now.. ' You thought as you placed the other stuff Dr. Flug gave you on the bed.

You then made your way outside to be met by Demencia.

She growled when your eye's met.

You just sighed and walked towards lab. Hands in the labcoats pocket.

Along the way you saw 5.0.5 cleaning.

He waved at you and waved back with a blank expression which made 5.0.5 growled in confusion.

You ignored it and continued to walk.

You then finally made it to the lab and was met by Dr. Flug shrinking down Black Hat's yelling.

You cleared your throat which made them look at you.

Black Hat then turned his head 180° to you and then his body.

It didn't faze you and you walked up to them.

" Oh, Y/N- you... you didn't wear the other equipments I gave you.." He said pointing at you.

You shrugged and said, " I don't really need 'em right now. "

You turned to Black Hat. " So, what are you gonna tell me? " You asked.

" I will be discussing with you about the things that you can and cannot do. Along with the days you'll be paid and your days off. "

You nodded as he began to discuss about the your job.

You just nodded, un interested.

You started to drift a bit but then snapped back to reality when Demencia burst through the door, tackling your boss down to the floor.

You stared as that commenced. Not moving, excluding your head and eyes.

You stared at them as Demencia cuddled Black Hat.

He then pushed Demencia away and began to yell at her. Turning into a more disturbing looking creature. Screeching.

You then walked to Dr. Flug who was on the floor, now.

You knelt down to him and he looked at you.

" Will this always happen while I work here? " You asked.

He just nodded and stood up. Dusting himself.

You stood up aswell and examined Dr. Flug's lab.

It was good, to say the least.

Some machineries were quite impressive but you could see some noticable flaws in it.

' Freeze ray.. seen a lot of those. ' You thought as you grabbed it and studied the contraption.

You then sensed someone about to tackle you.

You moved to the other side and let Demencia knock out some of Dr. Flug's inventions.

Dr. Flug screamed Demencia's name in an surprised tone, combined with anger.

You looked at the woman. Laying at the ground.

She seemed to be unconscious but then she woke up and stared at you.

She grunted and stood up fast and was prepared to try and tackle you to the ground but then you used you wrist watch.

Which made her stop her actions and was floating in mid air.

You then laid her down at some cage that you randomly saw and locked it.

Pushing a few buttons and Demencia is back to normal but she continued to tackle you but ended tackling nothing and face planted on the ground.

She then went balistic at the cage.

You sighed and looled at Black Hat and Dr. Flug.

Both were surprised.

" Am I gonna go through that everyday when I'm gonna work here? " You asked.

Dr. Flug was about to nod but was hit in the head by Black Hat.

' He really wants me to work for him.. ' You thought.

" I'll get use to it.. " You said as you looked away from them and examined a few more of Dr. Flug's inventions.

After a few more minutes.

You adjusted your self at the place.

You then heard Dr. Flug yell it was Lunch time.

Your stomach growled at the thought of food.

You walked to be met by 5.0.5 cooking and Dr. Flug preparing the plates.

You were about to sit at the chair which is the last. But then you saw a paper which had something written.

" Reserved for Y/N.. " You said aloud reading the paper.

The chair was the first one on the dining table and is beside the large chair which seemed to be Black Hat's chair because of it's design.

You didn't think much of it and sat down as 5.0.5 carried the plate of food and put it at the table.

You then heard the door open and it revealed Black Hat and behind was Demencia.

Black Hat then sat at the large chair.

' Heh.. so it was his. ' You thought as you fiddled the spoon out of boredom.

Black Hat then started a conversation with you as you guys ate.

You felt a pair of eye's looking at you.

' Seems Demencia's angry again.. should I even dare ask why?.. ' You thought.

You looked at Demencia and asked, "Mind telling me why you want me dead? "

Your eye's half open.

She growled in response.

Black Hat then started to lecture Demencia.

You then tried to think as to why Demencia is angry at you.

' Hmm.. why. ' You thought.

You then started to play some memories and then it strucked you.

You then adjusted your cap and put your elbows on the table, resting your chin ontop of your hands.

You then looked at her with a blank expression.

" Demencia? Are you angry at me because you think Black Hat's in love with me? " You asked.

Demencia looked at you along with Black Hat.

Black Hat's eye'a seemed to widen as blush crept on bis face and sweat began to form.

Dr. Flug and 5.0.5 then stopped eating and was engaged with the conversation.

" I can assure you that a Villainous demon like him isn't in love with a weak frail human like me. " You said, again with the blank expression.

Demencia didn't buy it and she growled at you.

" Aren't you paying attention to his face?! He is clearly blushing at you! YOU STOLE HIS HEART! " She said as she slammed her hands on the table.

" DEMENCIA! " Black Hat yelled.

You looked at Black Hat.

' ... ' Is what's on your mind as you examined his face.

You didn't have anything to respond. You're not a type of person to know about these.. lovey dovey stuff that makes people's heart go doki doki.

You just stared at her for a while.

You sighed and stood up.

" I'm gonna leave the room so you can calm down. " You said as you shoot your portal gun at your side.

This made everyone's go wide.

You then walked in and left them.

You didn't leave the house. You were currently on your room.

You plopped down at your bed and sighed heavily.

" Why do I keep getting jobs that I will be fired at the first day? " You asked yourself aloud.

You then heard someone say, " Now, why would I fire you? "

You looked up to see Black Hat.

You sat up from your bed and sighed.

" Well, I mean. You can't have these nonesense happen every single day, y'know? And I won't have a lot of focus on making any machines for you with Dr. Flug if Demencia is gonna try to kill me. " You said looling straight ahead.

" True. " He said and walked to you.

He sat beside you which made you shift away from him a bit.

" But, She'll get over it if you don't pay much attention to her. She always do." He said.

You chuckled which made him confused.

" As far as I can see, You don't pay much attention to her but she still hasn't gotten over you. How will I know if it'll work on me? " You said jokingly.

He chuckled.

" Oh well.. We'll have to wait and see. " He said as he looked at you.

You then laid at your bed and Black Hat looked at you as you did that.

" Hey, boss? Can I ask ya a question? " You asked.

He nodded slowly and waited for your question.

" Why was there an un used love potion on Dr. Flug's lab? " You asked which made Black Hat choked on air.

This made you confused and sat up again.

He then cleared his throat and you waited for his answer.

" F-for evil purposes.. " He answered as he hurriedly went out of the room, closing the door.

" .. Evil purposes? Really? " You said aloud.

Sighing as you stood up.

' You know what? Apart from Demencia out for my throat. This is a nice job. Probably gonna keep it... If I'm still alive. ' You thought as you went out of the room.

' Should probably help Dr. Flug now.. after all. I'm Dr. Flug's apprentice now. ' You thought as you walked back again to Dr. Flug's lab.

Being chased by Demencia in the process.
