I still don't believe what I had seen.

"That's enough Amma." Tuh says.

She nods.  I stand up.

"Would you like to see the rest of the village?" Tuh asks.

"I should get back home." I take up a spear.

"Wait, you can't leave. Not in your condidtion." Amma says.

"I'm fine. I cannot stay here." I say.

I'm not safe. They're not safe. I saw their thoughts. It was horrifying. It was like slowly drowning in blood. I don't want to befall this village. The children have full bellies and sing songs like flowers. I do not want to be their downfall. I shouldn't be their downfall. Tuh takes my hand. I look at her.

"Please. You are safe here. I'll show you." Tuh leads me out.

The sun almost blinds me.

"Oops. Sorry." Tuh says.

"It's fine." I blink several times.

My eyes adjust to the sun. I turn. I see several houses. A small bed of plants. She points. I look at the way she is pointing. Are we in some sort of hole? There were cliffs all around us. It was like we're in some sort of a sink hole.

"You see? You are safe here." She takes my hand.

"I-" I start.

"Please stay. Let us repay our debt to you." She smiles.

"Okay." I let out a breath.

"Let me show you around." She smiles.
