I start ridding back. I don't know why I'm coming back honestly. I have to face the swamp again. I have to face the dangers. I need to face my fears. I grip the vile on my belt. This will change everything. After this, I will return home. I will win this war. We are still at war.

"Help! Help!" I hear Tuh yell.

I kick her gently and she roars and charges forward rapidly. I take up my spear he gave back to me. She was running from one of those demons. How are they out here? I had hoped they would stay in the swamp. I throw my spear forward. It hits the creature's wing. It yelps. She slams her horns into the beast. I rip out my spear. No mercy for these monsters. They don't deserve mercy. I throw my spear at it. I slice off its head. I let out a breath. I'm not entirely sure it would kil this creature. 

I jump off her. I rip my spear off the ground. Tuh grabs me. The force drops my spear.Her face feels wet. Has she been crying? What did I miss? Her hands were covered in blood, and she had lots of scars. I grip her.

"What happened?" I ask.

"They took them." She shakes.

"Who?" I ask.

"The eye." She breathes.

I let out a breath. They took them to the swamp. I pick up my spear.  I turn. I take her reins. I get back on her. It is time I finished it. This monster will never rest. This sickness will have to end. I am going to end this.

"Wait!" Tuh grabs my arm.

I look at her.

"You can't go alone." She says.

"I have to. I have the cure. No one else should get hurt." I say.

"But..." She starts.

"Don't worry. I'll bring them all back." I say.

She let's go of my hand.

"I don't even know your name." She says.

I turn to her.

"It's Karo." I say.

"Good luck Karo." She smiles.
