"Where are you taking me?" I wince.
"There is something you must know. Something about this plague." He answers.
His voice was soft and raspy.
"What could you possible tell me about what you caused?" I ask.
"We didn't know. We were utter fools." He answers.
"That we can agree on." I hiss.
"There's a lot you don't know boy." He looks at me.
"I know enough." I hiss.
"Ah... you have seen him. The true monster of darkness with high wings and sharp horns." He says.
My mind flashes to that horrible monster.
"... yes." I answer.
"I have seen it too. That is why I created something that will help." He says.
He leads me to a shallow room. The walls were covered in moss and cloth. I see lamps filled with glow worms. There were markings of equations and symbols I have never seen before. I see books, ripped scattered around.
"Is this your home?" I ask.
"One could call it that." He says.
"How long have you been here?" I ask.
"It was so long ago." He takes out a bowl.
It looks to be filled with some kind of green herbal paste. It smells bitter and it looks like slob. I draw back. I look around. This place looks so sad. This place looks like a prison. How long has he been trapped here?
"Let's have a look at that wound of yours." He says.
