I start running to where I hear the yell. I slide to a stop. Wolves. Big ones. They growl. Why are they hunting so carelessly. They look half starved. Their mouths were drooling blood. They looked infected with something. I scan them to see if they have it. No... there is no eye. I let out a sigh of relief. One wolf charges. I look around for a weapon of some sort. I see a spear. I grab it and charge the wolf. I slam my body into it. Does no one here know how to fight? I suppose with the cliffs they would have no reason to.

"Everyone get inside!" Tuh yells.

A wolf jumps me. I wince as I get pinned to the ground. I look up at the animal. Its eyes were unnatural. They had this crazed and enraged look. How is that possible? I look at its body. It was thin and half dead. Could they be attacking out of desperation? One problem though, why are they desperate? I'll figure that out once I survive this. I slam my spear into his paw. He howls and jumps off. I stand up.

"Get inside! I'll handle this!" I yell.

The humans nod and run for their doors.

"Are you sure you can handle this?!" Tuh calls.

I nod. A wolf charges at me. I dodge and slam my tail into his back. It yelps. There were only a couple. Usually, wolf packs are bigger. Something is at work here. Something dark. I just have to figure out what is it.
