Crushed

(Lachlan's P.O.V)

Somethings really bugging me. They're doing something in there. I just hope it isn't what I think it is. Peeking my gaze upwards I noticed Mitch's mouth was moving.

But I couldn't hear him. Mitch's whole face was in a chill position, as if he was relaxed. Odd to have that expression be that way in a situation like this one.

It's also weird to think the sensitive one who tried commuting suicide is now acting like a soldier. And trust me on this when I say, we don't need any more broken soldiers.

The tension rose in my stomach quickly. The capacity filling to the brim to the point where I couldn't take it any longer. Not being able to take the fear filled nerves I bolted past Mitch.

Not noticing the cheery smile that lay on my lips. Letting my face fall as soon as Mitch was out of my sight I rushed into a sprint.

My feet pounding against the hallway floor I listened to my footsteps. They were loud, but not as loud as Vikk and Preston in the room they were in.

I really hope they aren't doing anything. And even if they are, who am I to judge? It's not like I'm jealous....Or anything like that....

My heart sinking onto the floor I slowed down my pace. Stopping at the end of the hallway where there was a plant in the corner.

Kneeling down I out stretched my arm. Uncurling my fingers I shoved my hand into the dirt. Grasping what I was looking for I pulled it out. The spare key....

Unbending my knees I stood up. Keeping the key gripped tightly in my hand I turned around. Jumping out of my skin as I saw Jerome right in front of me.

"Hey Lachy!" Jerome cheered. Seeming overly excited I watched him. Something deeply hidden flickered in his eyes but I pushed it aside, too focused on not getting caught.

"Hey Jerome! Whatcha doing up here?" I asked. Jerome opened his mouth to speak, seeming to want to say something, but he decided against it and came up with an excuse.

"I was coming up to check on you, you were here for a while. Thought you saw someone naked or something." Jerome joked. Jerome laughing at the joke I forced a laugh as well.

The awkwardness of the conversation made me want to gag. I hope Jerome didn't sense it though. That would have made it even more awkward.

"Yeah, well, I hope I didn't. That would have been too much. We got enough drama as it is." I added. Jerome nodded, a smile on his lips as he was agreeing with me.

"Yeah, you're not wrong on that one buddy. So many surprises and fake deaths, it's insane." Jerome replied. The silence swirling around I flashed him a smile as I brushed past him.

"Sorry Jerome! Gotta go!" I called over my shoulder. Smiling at how rude I was I laughed as a distant 'Ok!' was heard down the hallway.

My eye catching the door I plugged the key into it, not even hesitating as the curiosity clawed my stomach. Desperate to find out what happened in there I clicked the key.

Hearing the sound of the door unlocking I pushed the door open. Giving me a clear view of the room. The shouts, and crashing sounds were now silent.

As Preston and Vikk lay fast asleep on the bed. Each in their clean pair of clothes I cocked an eyebrow at the sight. Clothes and papers scattered the floor, as they lay seeming completely innocent.

Not falling for the innocent looking two I paced around the room. My eye catching sight of what I dreaded to see in the laundry bin....

I can't believe them...... My stomach churning at the sight I grabbed hold of the laundry bin. Picking it up I walked into their bathroom.

Shoving the clothes into the washer, so as not to make sure they touch it afterwards I slammed the washer door closed and started cleaning up the room.

Boy am I going to have a talk with them...So much for 'enough drama as it is'......What the hell...
