Sins of the mothers - Part 5 - Ivar x Reader
Ivar and (Y/n) sat next to one another at the main table, as the celebrations went on around them. The great hall filled with laughter and chatter, as people drank and eat. Everyone too preoccupied with their own conversations, to notice the wicked little smile that had come to Ivar's lips.
(Y/n) had been talking for far too long to Ubbe for his liking, that evening; and though he may normally pout and become angry at the fact that his woman seemed to be enjoying talking to his older brother far more than she was with being with him, he had decided on another course of action. A way to get back her attention, as well as remind her that she was his.
"(Y/n).......are you alright.........?" Ubbe asked, as she suddenly gasped and gripped onto the arms of her chair.
"I, er.............Yes.......yes......I am......I am fine. I, um.......I think that the mead has finally gone to my head........." (Y/n) replied with a slight chuckle, doing her best to ignore the hand that had just made its way up under her skirt, and between her legs. Her jaw clenching, as she did all she could to suppress the lewd moan that was fighting to escape her lips, as the hand moved her legs apart so that the fingers could caress her womanhood.
"Do you need some air........I can take you outside.........."
"No, no, Ubbe. I am fine, really. I am sure that it will pass in a moment......" She assured. Ubbe not quite looking convinced, sure that this was more than her being lightheaded; but as Hvitserk took over the conversation that she had been having with Ubbe, she could finally turn her attention to a grinning Ivar.
"What do you think you are doing......?" She asked quietly, as she looked at him. Ivar's smile getting even broader, as his finger began to carefully move over her sensitive numb; her eyes rolling back in her head at the sensation.
"I am merely reminding you that you are mine, and not Ubbe's.........."
"So, you are doing this because you are jealous that I have been talking to Ubbe for a little while.......? You know that is childish, don't you. But if you want to do this..........." (Y/n) retorted, as best she could with her short breaths, before she reached under the table and pulled on the strings of his breeches. Ivar covering his moan with a cough, as she freed his manhood from its confines and wrapped her hand around him.
"We can do this, together......." She cooed, as she leant over and whispered into his ear. Ivar's head dropping back onto his chair, as she began to stroke him.

"You look beautiful........" Torvi said, as she finished (Y/n)'s hair, before she wrapped her arms around the girl that she had seen as her sister since before she had even married Björn. The older shieldmaiden kissing the daughter of Lagertha on the cheek.
"Are you alright.........?" She continued, as the two women looked into the small mirror in (Y/n)'s hand.
By now, the whole of Kattegat knew what (Y/n) had done. That the daughter of the new queen, had made quite the display of burning the dress which was to have been her wedding gown. It apparent to all that a wedding between her and the youngest son of Ragnar, would no longer happen. Though whether it was due to the fact that Ivar and Ubbe had come to kill her mother, or something else, well, that was all supposition. Rumours and conjecture, causing quite a stir in town. And the fact that neither she nor Ivar had been seen since the event, had only added fuel to the fire.
"I am fine, Torvi. In fact, I am better than fine. I feel as if a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. That tonight is the start of a new life. A chance to show everyone who I really am, and what I can do; a chance to be me, without Ivar being a constant shadow looming over me. A chance to stop wasting my life and find a man that truly loves me......" (Y/n) replied, knowing that if anyone could understand, it would be Torvi. The older woman kissing her on the cheek once again, before her grip on her tightened. Torvi positive that something terrible must have happened between her and Ivar for (Y/n) to say such a thing; she knowing that the son of Aslaug and the daughter of Lagertha, had been in love with one another, for quite some time.
"Come.....the celebrations for Björn's return have already started. We don't want to miss anything........" Torvi told her, as she removed her arms from around (Y/n)'s shoulders and stepped back, before offering (Y/n) her hand. The daughter of Lagertha happily taking it and allowing Torvi to lead her from the room.

Ivar sat in a chair at the head table, glaring across at Lagertha, who was talking to Björn. He still didn't want to be there, despite what Ubbe had said. The only thing diverting his thoughts from how one day he would end the life of the shieldmaiden, was the empty chair on the other side of Lagertha. The chair that was obviously meant for (Y/n). The seat that had previously been hers, now filled by Hvitserk. Ivar doing his best not to smile, as the memory of how he and (Y/n) had once pleasured one another at this very table, without anyone knowing. How the sight of her silently coming undone at his touch, had sent him over the edge too; his seed spilling over her hand. Yet that would not be happening tonight; in fact, thanks to what he had said, nothing like that was ever likely to happen again. It not just his mother that he had lost; but by his own actions, his own words, he had lost the girl that he loved, too. Ivar just hoping that (Y/n) had decided not to come; even though the celebrations were for her brother. Yet as a sudden hush fell over all those present; Ivar knew that he was not that lucky. The dark-haired prince slowly moving his eyes to the door, to see (Y/n) standing there, it appearing as thought she had been sent from Asgard, itself.
