Saxon Princess - Part 7 - Ubbe x Reader

Ubbe moved, his arm pulling his bride closer to him, as they lay in the quickly put together wedding bed. She had made him feel things that he had never felt with another woman. The way that she had touched him, looked up at him as they had made love, made him feel strangely special. The way that his body seemed to fit perfectly with hers, suggested to the prince that all this was destined to be. That the beautiful Saxon princess, had been made just for him. And he couldn't be happier about it.

"Ubbe............?"

"Hmmmm" Ubbe hummed back, as he kissed the top of his bride's head.

"Can I ask you something.............?" The Saxon princess continued, as she looked up at her softly smiling husband.

"Anything............"

"Will you speak to your father for me............?" (Y/n)'s question causing Ubbe's brows to furrow. The Viking prince pushing himself up onto his elbows, as (Y/n) sat up.

"My father.........why...........? Is something wrong........?"

"What........? No, no........there is nothing wrong, Ubbe. I am happy that fate has brought us together. That I am your wife..........no, it isn't that there is anything wrong, its just..........I would just like you to speak to your father about Ardith. I know that it may be a lot to ask, but I was hoping that your father would allow her to come with us to Kattegat, when we go. I will have no one but you when we get back to your home. Ardith has always been with me, she is the one that taught me how to speak your language, to understand your customs and gods. I cannot remember my mother, but Ardith has been the closest to one that I could ever hope for. I do not want to leave England without her. She is my family, Ubbe; and I want our children to know and love her just as I do." The lady explained, as Ubbe sat up, and pushed her hair from her naked shoulder.

"She means that much to you...............?"

"Yes, she does................"

"Then I will speak to my father in the morning.............on one condition........." Ubbe told her. (Y/n) smiling, as she saw the mischievous look in her husband's eye.

"And what would that condition be..........?"

"A kiss................." Ubbe replied, as he placed his hand on her cheek.

"A kiss? Is that all..........? I am sure that I can think of a better way to persuade you, than with just a kiss............." (Y/n) said, as she pulled back the furs and climbed onto Ubbe's lap, before pushing him back into the straw filled mattress.

                                                                 >>--------------------------------<<

Ubbe made his way back to the tent, where he had left the older maid and his wife. He had just been to see his father as he had promised he would. Ragnar smiling strangely, knowingly, as his oldest son with Aslaug, had spoken to him about Ardith. Ragnar agreeing that the older woman should be allowed to accompany the princess to her new home. Ragnar sure that Aslaug may not be too happy with the fact that he had wed their oldest son to a Saxon. Despite how happy Ubbe obviously was with the match.

"Brother..............!" Hvitserk called out, as he caught up with Ubbe.

"Hvitserk..............."

"Well..............?"

"Well what............?"

"How was it.............?" Hvitserk asked, as he grabbed for his brother's wrist, and pulled him to a stop. The younger man smiling broadly.

"How was what............?" Ubbe countered, as he looked at his younger sibling; despite being well aware of what Hvitserk was referring to. Yet he was not about to talk about his wife. A wife that had already made him feel like no other woman had been able to make him feel. For it was one thing talking about fucking thralls, sharing thralls, and another thing telling his brother about what he and his beautiful Saxon bride had done in their wedding bed the night before. Ubbe not about to embarrass his wife in such a way.

"Ubbe..........how was your princess.............."

"Exactly, Hvitserk, she is a princess. Not a thrall ready to open her legs in hopes that she might be freed. And as you say, she is my princess, my wife. And I will not be sharing her with anyone." Ubbe replied, patting his brother on the shoulder, before carrying on his way back to the tent.

                                                          >>-----------------------------------<<

"You look beautiful, my child. More radiant than I have ever seen you. Being married to a pagan obviously agrees with you." Ardith chuckled, as she finished braiding her lady's hair.

"Oh, Ardith. I never thought I could be this happy. I believe that God really has blessed us. That he does not mind that Ubbe is not a Christian." (Y/n) replied, as she turned and took the hands of her loyal maid.

"Last night I spoke with Ubbe. I asked him to talk to his father for me..........."

"About what.............?"

"I want you to come to Kattegat with me. I would be lost without you, Ardith. And I need you, I will have no friends other than Ubbe when we leave these shores. No one to turn to, no one that can understand if something should go wrong. And..........I want my children to know you. I want them to know my mother........their grandmother." The princess explained. Ardith unable to stop herself from smiling, from crying, as the pair embraced. The older woman feeling her heart soar, as her lady........her child, told her that she loved her enough to see her as her mother. As the grandmother to her own children.

"(Y/n)..........." A voice came. Both women turning to see Ubbe. The prince appearing confused, as he looked at the two crying females.

"Ubbe...............?"

"My father..........said yes............" Ubbe replied. The prince nearly balled over, as (Y/n) ran into his arms. His face peppered with kisses, as she thanked him over and over again. Ubbe sure that when the maid left them, he might just be able to find another way for his bride to thank him.
