I had (and still have) a bounty of 1000 in Whiterun. (a farmer saw my transformation from werewolf to Khajiit) Giving all of my stolen goods to Aela, meaning half my inventory don't judge, we headed to the city to pay it off.

I find a guard just inside the gates and try to tell him I want to pay off my bounty, my bounty in Winterhold is 25 and I can't walk across the city without someone wanting me to pay it off so I figured this tactic would work.

"Hands to yourself, cat."

..........

"Wait, I know you!"

Sweet! Wait, you didn't start that line of conversation...

"Wait, I know you!"

*sigh*

FINE! I'LL GO SEE IF I CAN DO MY FALKREATH ONE THEN! (bounty there: 1005 what can I say, the Dark Brotherhood used to be there)

*fast travels to Falkreath after talking stuff from Aela*

There are eight guards waiting for me. They all draw their swords.

CRAP! MY POTION OF VIGOROUS HEALING!!! I need that..... Look at the difference five septims makes on reactions... *sigh*
