I was requested to do this by LOADS of you (okay, at least 2/3 but still 😉) so I've decided to do this before the others as I know enough about MGS to write this. And yes, it will be happy! Oh yeah, you basically take Meryl's place. Well, enjoy it!

You were on a mission: to stop the launch of Metal Gear Rex. You're commander, Roy Campbell had assigned this mission to you and there was no turning back now. You sighed and thought about what Campbell had told you; you were to find Rex and stop FOXHOUND from achieving their demands. Their leader, Liquid Snake, was the one you were after. He was pretty tough and you knew a little about him and his background. One major point about him was that he was a clone, along with his twin brother, Solid Snake. You'd never met Solid but you wanted to. He was a legend among soldiers, like his father Big Boss. But what you didn't know was that he'd been assigned the same mission.

A few hours later, after fending off wolves, members of FOXHOUND and the cold, you came to the command room. You snuck around and looked in through the weapon proof glass. Inside was an old man with long white hair, who you presumed was Revolver Ocelot along with a man with golden hair that went to his shoulders and a young woman with blonde hair down to here back. The man, you assumed, was Liquid but you had no idea who the girl was. One thing you did pick up on was the fact that Liquid had his arm around her shoulders.
"Must be in a relationship." You said to yourself. You looked away but you felt a weird feeling... A different feeling... Jealousy. Why were you jealous? Liquid wasn't your type but... Maybe... There was someone else who you liked. Maybe it was-
"GAH! Sorry, didn't see you there." Someone apologised as they nudged you with their elbow. You turned around to see a brown haired man with a bandana, smoking a cigarette. No... It couldn't be.
"S-Solid Snake?" You asked.
"Yeah?" He replied. No way, it couldn't be, could it? You decided to test him. You peeped inside the command room and asked him a question
"Who are those people?" He looked into your (e/c) globes and replied.
"The old guy, that's Revolver Ocelot, second hand man of Liquid Snake. He's the man with the blonde hair and black cloak. The girl, I believe, is Mayflower. She's Liquid's other half, and definitely better half!"
You smiled. He knew a lot more than you did. As you looked into his blue eyes, you're face felt like it was burning. You touched your forehead: you were blushing MAJORLY! Unfortunately for you, Snake noticed.
"What's the matter, (y/n)? Got hots for Ocelot?" He chucked. You felt slightly annoyed by his comment but you couldn't get angry at him.
"Why?" You asked yourself over and over again. You couldn't be lovesick over..... Solid Snake? No, the legendary soldier would never love you. You let it be.
"So Solid, what should we do?" You broke the silence. Snake looked slightly shocked.
"Huh? We're a team now?" He asked. You mentally slapped yourself at the fact you had asked the legend himself to team up with you. You sighed.
"I-If that's okay with you..." He grabbed your hand and gave it one quick shake.
"Deal. We'll be a duo, (y/n)!" He replied. You smiled.
"Glad to be of service, Solid Snake." And the two of you started working together.

"Are you awake now, (y/n)?" A British voice said. All you could see was darkness, but you were positive you were awake.
"W-Where am I?" You muttered. You heard a chuckle.
"Why, isn't it obvious? Probably not, due to that blindfold." Your hands were tied behind your back. You heard footsteps as someone approached you and removed the blindfold.
"L-Liquid!" You shouted.
"Yes, it's me." The blonde, British male replied in his usual cocky voice.
"What do you want from me?"
"Oh nothing from YOU, I just need Solid." He growled.
"NO! YOU CANNOT HAVE SOLID!" You screamed. Tears rolled down your cheek and you whimpered.
"Solid took everything from me, earned the dominant genes, making me the leftovers. How would YOU feel, (y/n)?" Liquid shouted. You're face went red as you screamed back.
"UNTIE ME, FOOL!"
Liquid chuckled again.
"Me, a fool? Once I destroy Solid, then tell me who the fool was."
"It's you, fiend." You glared. Liquid frowned.
"Feisty one, eh? I'll fix that." He set the timer on the bomb that lay beside him. "Solid has 5 minutes to come here and save you before the whole place is blown sky high."
"LIQUID! NO!!!!" A voice behind you said. Solid Snake... Your hero. Liquid turned around.
"It's been a long time, brother." He smirked.
"Let her go, Liquid. She's done nothing wrong!" You blushed at that. Solid... Trying to save you.
"MAKE ME!" Liquid growled. Snake smirked, pretending to walk away with his SOCOM.
"I'll just go and get a hostage-" Liquid's face went red.
"OKAY FINE! But first, fight me." Liquid snapped.
"Fine."

~~~~After The Snake's Battle~~~~
Solid untied your hands and picked you up in his arms.
"You okay?" He asked.
"Y-yeah..." You smiled. For once, Solid smiled and quickly kissed your lips. You kissed back, before Solid remembered the bomb.
"Damn, let's go!" He commanded, running out with you and throwing you into a jeep. Luckily, you were able to drive it and so you did. You and Solid had just got out before you heard a cry: "IT'S NOT OVER YET, SNAKE!"
"Liquid's... Back...? Didn't he die?" You asked Snake.
"No, but he will soon."
"Huh?"
"Just drive." Solid stated. Liquid was close behind you, shooting at the jeep with his machine gun. The Snakes started fighting again and then it happened.
"SOLID! We're gonna crash!" You cried before the jeeps turned over. Solid jumped out and pulled you out from underneath the jeep. He hugged you.
"Snake......" Liquid growled, limping over. Snake pulled away and guarded you. Liquid was becoming weak. He faced Solid as his green globes pierced Solid's blue ones. Suddenly, Liquid felt a sudden pain strike his heart. It could only be one thing.
"FOX..."
"DIE!" Solid added. Liquid growled at the two of your before collapsing to the ground. Solid slightly smirked.
"Goodbye, brother." He picked you up and looked into your eyes. "You think Roy will let us work together?" You smiled.
"I hope so!" Solid kissed your lips passionately as you deepened the kiss. You pulled away for air and Solid hugged you.
"You're beautiful.... So beautiful..."
