~16 Victor X Yuri - The Babysitter
Holy cheese balls I'm late. Oops. Well here's a half crappy oneshot I guess? ;P
----
"Yes hello? Really? Oh my god. Thanks so much. Yeah, seven thirty. See you then."
Yuri sighed in relief as he hung up his phone and placed it into his back pocket.
"Honey! The babysitter said he can make it for seven thirty!" He called loudly throughout his house.
"Uh-huh. That's great Yuri. I'm kinda busy right now."
A nasally uninterested voice of a woman came shouting down the stairs- only to unfortunately make its way to Yuri's now metaphorically bleeding eardrums.
"*sigh* I try so hard and this is what I get? Great. Being arranged to marry this woman is the worst-"
He quickly stopped thinking out loud as his wife came stomping down the stairs, her high heels were so tall, that if the heels snapped- it would be classed as a natural disaster. Well for her at least.
"What was that Yuri?" She called as she walked into the kitchen.
"Oh nothing."
'Don't get me wrong- although being married to her may not be the best. She's okay as a person I guess. I mean she's-'
He thought hard, trying his best not to struggle with coming up with redeeming qualities for his own wife.
"YURI! STOP FILLING THE FRIDGE WITH KATSUDON BOWELS."
'Let me rephrase that. Maybe her personality isn't the best. But at least she...never mind.'
Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, Yuri checked the time.
"Honey! The baby sitter will be here in a few minutes." He called again.
*Doorbell sound of your choice* {Dinggoo dongggoo (っ'-')╮ =͟͟͞͞🔪wtf}
'Or maybe he's coming now?' Yuri laugh/thought to himself.
"I'll get it!" Yuri's wife called as he heard her heels running towards the door.
From the living room, Yuri heard his wife speaking to another person.
Not too soon after, they both entered the room Yuri was sitting in.
"Hello! My name is Victor and I have come to look after your children!!"
A grey {a/n I typoed gay but fixed it •3•} haired male, around his late 20's, came waltzing into the room. His smile was somehow in the shape of a heart and his eyes were a sparking brilliant blue.
"Yes. There's just one. Not plural. Yuri said he wanted another...but oh god. I just-no. I already don't like them as it is." His wife complained, grabbing her handbag and coat.
"Hahah." Yuri laughed awkwardly.
"I mean, they're so expensive to buy! And then feed them, walk them, and pick up their shit! No thank you!" She continued to speak as she left the room, leaving the two men together.
"Walk them? Pick up their shit? Huh???!!" Victor asked, seemingly very alarmed by Yuri's wife's description of 'children.'
"Oh here he is..." Yuri said turning to behind the sofa.
"You keep your child behind a sofa!?!"
There was a moment of silence where both Victor and Yuri just stared each other. And then Yuri burst out laughing.
"HAHAHAHHAH!!! Oh my god. Did you think we meant an actual- hahahahaha- no."
Victor's confusion only seemed to grow, until a light brown fluffy poodle jumped up from behind the sofa and quickly ran out the room.
"...I'm hoping that's a dog...and not some fluffy child." Victor said, now laughing together with Yuri.
"Yeah. Sorry for the confusion. My wife, she likes to call our dog her 'child' " Yuri said as he stood up and walked over to his wife who was now waiting by the front door.
"Well Victor. We'll be back around two, so you can do whatever until then."
"Okay! Have fun!"
And with that they left.
{about 2 hours later}
Victor was sitting on the couch, watching TV and had Yuri's dog happily sitting in his lap, when suddenly the doorbell rang.
He got up and walked to the door. Upon opening it, he found a slightly annoyed looking Yuri.
"You're back early?" Victor questioned looking at the time on his phone.
"Yeah um...my wife. She got talking with some friends while we were out and went out with them instead. She said for me to go home so...here I am I guess. You can leave if you want- I'll look after the dog." Stepping into the house, Yuri lazily loosened his tie and threw off his jacket somewhere. He then walked over to the kitchen and opened up the fridge.
"Err. Well I'm being paid to stay will two, and its only nine so. I could stay if you wanted company?" Victor asked as he walked into the kitchen behind Yuri.
"Yeah sure!" The dark haired make turned round to face a smiling Victor. Two beers were in Yuri's hand from the fridge. {A/N DRINK RESPONSIBLY KIDS ヽ(。ゝω・。)ノ }
{5 hours and a lot of beers and katsudon later}
Lets put it this way. If a stranger were to walk into the house, it would have been extremely hard to convince them that the two men sleeping on the sofa next to each other, weren't a couple.
In such a small time space, the two men had gotten to know each other really well. They had many things in common- like they both had dogs. *not fluffy children* and both of them were into ice skating.
Even after Victor left for the night, they kept in contact and often went out together.

Two moths later...
One evening Yuri came home after work, not entirely knowing whether he should've been extremely happy or upset and sad.
His wife had left him. Only leaving a note.
'Yuri, from the moment I met you- I knew we we not a pair. Our parents forcing us into marriage for family convenience wasn't right.
That is why I have made the division to go.
Ever since you met Victor- I could just see the Yuri I unfortunately never got to meet.
I know you love him, and I'm positive he loves you too.'
After that, It was one phone call that changed everything.
"Hellooo~ this is Yuri speaking."
"Hello Yuri. You okay? Isn't it a bit late to be phoning?"
"Hehe. But I thought you said I could use your babysitting services anytime....even if it was an emergency."
"Oh no! What's happened!!" Victor half screamed in alarm.
"I've realised I love you."
There was a brief moment of silence.
"Your babysitter will be there as soon as possible!!!"
