Chapter 11
So sorry for the late update. I hope this chapter makes up for it. I need to do better.

Everything had been perfectly fine. The three of them with their pokémon had successfully gotten past Pewter City with the supplies they needed thanks to the compromise they'd all made. In fact, they had even gotten past Viridian Forest and were almost to Viridian City. Of course, with so much success, Silver knew it was only a matter of time before something unfortunately occured and he was right. Just as they were about to dash into a grove of shrubs and small trees, they were spotted.
She was nothing more than a person that just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time but the city resident had no doubt seen them as she walked. Silver knew this for she had stopped and stared likely recognizing his unmistakable red hair. There weren't very many others that shared it and it was something Silver was sometimes bothered by. "Hey! Wait, it's okay. Don't hide. I won't hurt any of you," the woman said as she took a few hesitant steps towards their location.
Silver met (y/n)'s gaze and she shook her head at him. Just as he'd thought. This woman couldn't be trusted. Even if it were true that she wouldn't hurt them, (y/n) had probably sensed underlying intent within the woman's current emotions and deemed her unsafe. Red seemed the most on edge as he glared at the woman almost threateningly. She could not see them from where they crouched behind the grenery but she knew they were still there.
"Meredith, what are you doing? Who are you talking to? The pokémon center is back that way," a man's voice said. Silver again looked to (y/n) who shrugged her shoulders not being able to tell if the newcomer was a threat or not. He peeked out from behind the Bush he hid behind and looked the man right in the eyes. He saw Silver and froze his own expression showing surprise as he stood there. "Hey, it's you. You're with thise lost children," he said with a look of pity. Silver didn't want his pity. There waa nothing about him, (y/n), or Red that needed to be pitied.
"Come on out you three. We won't harm you. I'm sure your parents are worried about you. We can try and contact them for you," the woman spoke in an attempt to coax them out of hiding. "We need to turn back. They'll alert the police once they go back. It'll put us in a nad spot but we have no choice," (y/n) whispered knowing that Silver was unsure of what should be done. He didn't want to turn back. He wanted to power through the obstacle and move forward because it was his nature. He didn't back down from things...aside from things that scared him.
"Go to the pokémon center. They could be hurt and need some help," the man said to the lady he was with. "No need. I'll take care of things from here!" a familiar voice announced. Silver hadn't even seen him since he had been so focused on watching the two people who possed a threat to him and his beloved. "It's Blue," (y/n) stated with what almost seemed to be disappointment. Red immediately looked to him in expectancy.
"Gym Leader Blue! Thank goodness you're here. Could you stay here and help us until we can get help. The people from the lost posters and one more are right there," Meredith stated. Blue glanced in their direction before giving a nod. The woman had no way of knowing that Blue was on their side so she trusted him much to Silver's relief. "I'll be sure to keep an eye on them until you get back with help. They don't seem to ne going anywhere any time soon," Blue reassured the woman.
She and the man with her quickly left and Blue watched them leave until they were out of sight before turning to them and smirking. "Couldn't keep out of trouble could you three? We've all been on edge because of the pokémart raids. I'm sure you guys were the cause. You seriously didn't expect that to draw attention to you guys?" Blue said. His attitude was slightly annoying but Silver could tolerate it for the time being.
"Thank you for that. You'll let us go right?" Silver said as she slowly stood but (y/n) caught his and Red's wrists to keep them from doing so. "Something isn't right," she whispered as she stared at Blue. He seemed to notice that they were now on edge too. "What's wrong? Let's get out of here before they come back. You three don't want to be caught do you? Surely you haven't actually decided to stay away from that snowy mountain of yours, Red," Blue said with a slight tilt of his head. Silver wasn't sure if Blue was being his usual mean to Red or acting strangely.
Either way, he trusted (y/n)'s judgement and considered Blue an enemy. Red stared at his friend seemingly hurt and stood up regardless of (y/n)'s warning. "Red don't. There's something wrong with him. He isn't the same as last time," (y/n) hissed. Only she knew what he intended to do leaving Silver wondering what their next move would be. He had to make a decision since (y/n) and Red were preoccupied.
"Run," he said. It wasn't a dignified action but he found himself running from situations far often than he wanted to. "We can't. Where would we go? Viridian city is blocking our way to Mt. Silver," (y/n) quietly said. "Red. Let's go. You have to take us to that mountain. You can save Blue later," Silver said as he began to realize what was wrong, easily putting the pieces together. Mewtwo had gotten to Blue somehow and Red knew this.
Whatever had gone one between the two fruends had left Blue and Red on bad terms and Red seemed to desperately want to change things. Silver could tell this even without being able to read his emotions. Red was certainly hesitant at first but Silver called his name again napping him from his trance. The trio headed right into the surrrounding greenery and the moment they did, Blue didn't hesitate to follow as if predicting that they would run.
Silver nor (y/n) knew where they were going and it made them both uneasy as they made thwir way through the densely packed trees and bushes around Viridian City. "There's nowhere else left for you guys to run!" Blue called after them. The situation was all too complex for Silver. He was used to being a fugitive, yes, but having his own allies turned against him was not something he was fond of and he didn't like the fact that his sister, N, Gold, Crystal, and now Blue were all likely being controlled by Mewtwo.
Whatever Mewtwo had planned for Silver couldn't be anything good and now (y/n) amd Red had been dragged into the mess. His thoughts were inturpted when he ran into (y/n) who had frozen in her tracks and stared ahead of her. Red also stopped behind Silver. In front of them only a few yards ahead was N who casually leaned against a tree and looked in their direction. He held no hostility in those eyes of his and he must have been waiting for them.
Behind him standing near a different tree was Green and she held a blank expression despite her eyes givingg a clear warning. Mewtwo had played them somehow. He had lured them into a trap and they had fallen for it and the worst part was that Silver knew something like it would happen. "It's about time you madd your way here," Mewtwo's familiar voice echoed through the area. Their automatic responses were to pull a pokéball for preparation of a battle but Silver was unsure if they could win.
