Seven (Final Scene)
*Time Skip*
After cleaning up the mess, the kid left his adult partner in charge if weapons. Mainly sincd he was better at the whole mechanic gig. While he was busy on that, he had used his mini spying ability earlier to see what was going on in the main universe. The conversation among the group of teens intrigued him. Smiling, the fifteen year old promised a return. And he never liked to break a promise. With his little stone that could keep dimensions from collapsing, he opened up a giant hole and hopped inside.

The group agreed on staying at Mech X tonight. Their parents were cool with it. Although since Grace was the only one aware of it, she covered for kids just in case. However, the main reason being was so they could come up with a plan for Harper. The girls were chatting about their discoveries and what they could do while the boys were setting up. They allowed Spyder to handle the snacks. It was his specialty. Harris was making sure they all had blankets and pillows. As for Mark, he had music and dozens of playlists ready. Why not make it like a party?
The pilot was securing the locks in the ferry, robot, and anywhere else for that matter. Though no one was aware of the newly built ferry, it still needed to be protected. Along with the monster killing robot of course. As he was shutting everything down for the night, someone was sitting nearby. It didn't take long for the person to arrive. After all, it was like opening a door to a room.
"Hey!" Mark called, "who took my MP3?!"
"My bad!" V replied. She wrapped up the small cord, "and Demi Lovato on replay?! Really?!"
"Demi has skills! Don't underestimate a badass!" Mark defended himself.
The male technopath shook his head and chuckled.
"Demi is a queen." A voice shared the same opinion.
Ryan turned around at the sound. The person waved at him.
"You've got to stop doing that." Ryan said.
"Nah it's fun." The duplicate disagreed.
Crossing his arms, the leader of Mech X stopped locking everything.
"See you're feeling better," the alternate clone noticed, "the whole mutation thing must be the reason why. Didn't Leo create some kind of antidote for that?"
"Yeah," Ryan responded. He sighed a little, "but...it didn't work. Nothing changed. So, looks like I'm gonna be this until I die."
"I know, I just thought that-"
"Yeah so did I. I don't hate it, but it-"
"It's like being extremely different from everybody," the duplicate stopped the ongoing cut offs, "and yet no one knows about it. It's crazy. But, at least that explains the sickness."
"That's what I thought too," Ryan agreed before asking, "just glad that I'm not stuck in one place anymore...and now that I'm better, I can ask you this. Are you that doppelganger Casey warned us about?"
The trespasser smiled.
"You would know to ask that," he responded, "and for the record, I do this all the time. I came here before and I didn't hurt anybody."
"But why do you do it? What's your plan? We know it has to do with revenge. But why?" Ryan wanted to know.
Hopping up from his spot, his clone walked towards him. He had his arms crossed as Ryan dropped his down.
"You've never wanted to get back at the people who've wronged you or did you dirty?" The 'twin' inquired.
"Well...yeah," Ry admitted, "I have. I mean, I get picked on a lot for no reason. My friends do too and it's only because we're freshman."
"Yup." The duplicate knew.
"And...and everyone else laughs like it's okay." Ry went on.
"That's true." The guy agreed.
"It's been that way for fifteen years of my life. It's so annoying how the older kids get what they want or they get to mess with us when they're only a year ahead," Ryan talked. His little friend nodded, "and I got paid to leave my own house because Mark wanted a party."
"Oh god you had to bring up that name." The duplicate stated in disgust.
That made Ryan give him a strange look.
"What? There's a lot of people in the world named Mark." He made a fact.
"You know what I mean," the clone replied, "Mark Walker this and I'm so awesome which is wrong because he's not."
Ryan chuckled a little.
"He literally had the entire school cheering his name. Bay City East finally brought him back down to Earth," the doppelganger remarked. Ryan nodded, "it only lasted for a while before out new principal got Bay City High rebuilt. Now he's back on top. Round two I guess."
"Well I don't think so. I mean he really changed-"
"Changed?" The clone queried in disbelief. He shook his head, "Ry lemme tell you something."
The visitor shoved his hands in his pockets.
"The way dimensions work is like this," he explained, "the girls wrapped it up pretty well, but there's another piece to it. Since it's basically splitting up personalities and each part of said personality, like being a hothead or naturally empathetic, is showcased in a seperate universe, different scenerios happen. The outcome isn't the same for everyone."
Sighing, the adopted child rolled his eyes.
"Seriously, can't you guys have a handbook on these things?" Ryan asked.
"I know right? It'd make things easier," his little pal sided with him. They both shared a short laugh, "but since this happens, it also means we're your thoughts. Whatever you feel, we feel. So if you're mad, I feel it. And when you learn about things, we find them out too."
"Okay so, if I think over something, you're basically me inside my head?" Ryan questioned, lost on the whole thing.
"Just go with that cause I don't feel like explaining all of it," the duplicate tried to move on, "but yeah. So right now, you're talking to yourself as you would in your own brain."
Ryan backed away a little bit in shock, confusion, and trying to comprehend it all.
"Woah..." He reacted.
"Uh huh. Welcome to the weird factor." The doppelganger male technopath retorted in a joking matter.
"No kidding," Ry agreed. He quickly returned to their earlier point, "and Mark has changed. It's a lot better than it was before."
"So he didn't insult your leadership when you just wanted to help a friend get out of mind control?" The clone asked.
"Yeah he did-"
"He didn't get mad at you for trying to help him get back on varsity at Bay City East? I mean sure it was cheating, but still, you we're just being there for him." The 'twin' had a point.
"I know-"
"And what about earlier in the year when he found out about the adoption and started treating you nicely because of it? He couldn't care less about you if you weren't." The clone brought up.
"Yes, all of that happened," Ryan was aware of, "and I was mad, but that doesn't mean I-"
"And he went behind your back and did his own thing by using your friend as bait to find out Tregear's plan," the doppelganger reminded him. That was one of their worst fights, "and by him saying, 'we can't always win by playing defense' makes him in the right? Oh wait! I forgot, Mark Walker knows everything-"
"No he doesn't!" Ryan finally snapped, "and I don't know why you're bringing that up. We're past that."
"Are we really?" The alternate clone quizzed before continuing, "I'm still mad at the fact that despite everything that happened before and after we stepped foot in that robot, he never apologized for being such a douche. I mean, that dipwad is a jerk-"
"Hey! He's still my...our brother-"
"And you think that matters?" The doppelganger posed. The younger Walker brother gave him a look, "act buddy buddy all you want, but you know he still has a lot to make up for."
"I messed up too-"
"Of course we did! I'm not saying we're perfect beings," the trespasser cut him off again, "but out of those times we messed up, who did it non-stop?"
That hushed the freshman.
"Exactly," his little friend kept going, "we're better than him and no one else cam see it because he's too busy taking up all of the spotlight...well, not anymore. He's done, just like everybody who did us wrong."
"Okay," Ryan began to wonder, "So what? I tell him how I feel and talk to him about it?"
The copy gave him an 'are you kidding me?' look.
"15 years of being Little Walker and you wanna TALK about your feelings?" He incredulously asked.
After taking a moment to think, the pilot nodded.
"Point taken what's the plan?" Ryan catechized.
"So you're in?" The look alike inquired.
Ryan looked back at the robot before answering that question.
"If you're really a part of me, then you know how I feel about Harper." He started out.
"No doubt. He goes back and forth so much you don't know what to believe," His duplicate retorted, "no wonder you can't trust the guy."
Ryan nodded.
"Yeah," he progressed, "we need to take him down for good. He can't hurt anyone ever again."
The double let his hands go down to his sides.
"It's not okay that he just decides when he wants to be good or wants to be bad," Ry vented to himself, growing angry in the process, "or how people do whatever they want because they think the world revolves around them. And how stupid rivalries cause another school to get crap when they did nothing wrong and don't even care about some stinkin football game! And when we try to solve it, we get in trouble?! How's that fair?!"
The double smiled at him, approving every word being said.
"And what about when I make decisions and they're bad calls because nobody agrees?! Or when I get mad it's going too far and I have to be warned?! Hell I should've killed Seth in the woods when I had the chance..."
Calming himself down, the real male technopath realized the last sentence that was spoken. Before he could change it, he felt a hand on his shoulder. He faced his doppelganger, who wasn't unhappy with his outbursts.
"What was that you were saying about planning to do something about Seth?" The alternate look alike asked.
Before an answer could surface, someone called for the leader of Mech X4.
"Yo Ryan! Come on, you don't get up here, all the dip is gonna be gone. And you know how greedy Spyder is!" Harris shouted.
"No I'm not!" Spyder argued, "the dip went missing last time!"
Looking back at the robot again, the adopted child pondered over this. His powers acting wonky was given a clear yet unexpected answer, but now he and the others could use that and take down the enemy for good. No Tregear in the way and the monsters were a piece of cake. Though hesitant on the subject, the young man took a chance.
"What's the plan?" He questioned.
