A girl in my class,
Who has befriended a dark corner of our class.
Very quiet very silent, just always lost in her world,
Curiosity kills the cat,
But her doe but emotionless eyes make me curious and make me explore her inner self more.
Her emotionless face speaks a lot,
But I miserably fail to understand it.
I wonder about the silence she has kept to herself as it's her heartbeat.
Surely I know that she is not a girl of silence but I don't know the reason for her being silent.

Days by day lost in thoughts of her reasons,
I finally gather courage,
The courage of seeing her side of dark reasons.
Wandering here and there,
I finally approach her,
Turning behind on my call,
she faced me.
Letting a heavy sigh, "Why you are all silent?"

She smiled, Ahhhh!! How long I wished to see it.
But next broke me,
a feeling I don't know what it is.
Pity, guilty, or stupidity of myself?
She signed me the most difficult and harsh reality of her life in the form of a hand sign,
A smile that holds many emotions,
Which are unreadable
"I can't speak, I am mute."
