Genesis 5:24

"And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him."

(In this passage which is going through genealogies, it's especially noted that Enoch "walked with God". Not anywhere before him is this mentioned. You can safely assume that Enoch was so close to God, that God decided to spare him from death, and take him up into heaven.)
