The Moon Rises

The holopad fits itself between Tsuyu's fingers innocently. She didn't think she would get the pad so quickly to choose but makes the most of her first choice.

Under a search filter, she picks from the category of fantasy. Simply choosing the second title under the first for all of them to watch.

The holographic pad disappears from her hands and the title appears on screen as usual.

The Moon Rises

"Any reason you chose this one Tsuyu-chan?" Ojirou asks her from behind her seat.

"I think we forget the moon sometimes so I wanted to see what little fantasy world had for it, kero." She smiles and thinks back to the time she read stories for her little siblings. "Also I think it would be nice to have a little story telling about the moon."

The screen a lights, the camera of the world panning over a kingdom. The sky dimming from the setting sun. The scene closes in on the castle and fades inside.

Midoriya walks down a long windowed corridor, the sun setting seen through the windows. His clothes formal and patterned like the night sky. A beautiful dark shade cape trails behind him with a scatter of glitter that seem like twinkling stars. Sitting on is head is a black crown embedded with white moonstone. In one of his hands is a long, dark staff that has a beautiful crescent moon or inner made from a gem.

Mitsuki awes at his clothes like her husband since their both fashion designers. "Those clothes look great!"

"It would make for nice reference for another line in designs," Masaru comments to his wife who nods in agreement.

Midoriya's expression solemn as he stops to look out the window for a moment. The sun setting down in the horizon slowly.

"Now the hour has come at last. The soft and fading light. Has crossed the west horizon and has bidden us goodnight~" He sings softly as he moves his staff enough to make little noise of the crystals clinking against each other.

Jirou still can't believe her classmate's voice sounds so amazing. She admires how his voice really portrays emotions.

"I wonder what's going on with Midoriya in this world," Hakagure says curious. "This one starting off pretty sad sounding."

"Maybe it has to do with that staff? He looks like he's part of royalty here." Todoroki theorizes for them with his hand holding his chin in thought.

"It seems like it."

The corridor changes to a moonlit, open field, to which he takes a few steps into with a sad expression. "And what a lovely night it is, to walk a moonlit field. To see the softer shades that are by starlight now revealed." He looks up to the full white lit moon above. The casted illusion fades away and Midoriya is back in the hallway lined with windows.

He continues down the hall, unknowingly being watched by a dressed mage known as Nighteye. His expression holding on of concern and suspicion.

"Oh , Mirai is back!" All Might says happy to see his former sidekick. Thankfully alive in this world and not another animal version of him.

Gran Torino chuckles, "He looks to be a wizard of some sort judging by the robes he's wearing with the oversized hat."

"So why is it that now, when all is quiet and at rest. When candles glow and all the world is at its very best~" The burning lanterns light his way forward now that the sun has disappeared over the horizon.

"The citizens of Yuuni, should lock themselves away." Midoriya enters a throne room where two stone carved staffs are crossed, displayed behind the large throne. One a copy of his moon staff own and another similar but with the design of the sun. "To shun the moon and wait instead for Kacchan's sunny day?~"

"Ah, I get it now." Principle Nezu looks at the teen on screen with amusement. "As Todoroki-kun theorized, young Midoriya is part of royalty along with young Bakugou. They share a land called Yuuni with people they rule over."

"And?" Aizawa says for the principle to continue knowing he's not done.

"They're a pair that has powers and controls one of the two spheres that light the sky. Midoriya, rightfully controlling the Moon as seen by his staff. Bakugou, on the other hand, controls the Sun. Both in power yet, one is more looked forward to than the other."

The original pair in their seats quiet like some of the other times their alternate selves are focused on. It's because they understand why their is a difference. What makes them different...

The Royal of the Moon looks up to the intricate design of the glass dome roof that would let the sun shine light down upon the throne room. It taunts him enough for him to bow his head.

In umbra Luna est
(The Moon is in shadow)

The greenet turns away from the elevated throne to the balcony doors, to which he opens wide. The cool night air blowing against his skin. "Am I so wrong to wish that they would see things like I do?" A close up his green eyes are shown to change from round pupils to silted ones.

"And am I so wrong to think that they might love me too?" Sadness laced in his tone as illusions are made. Children and adults paying respects to him in kind smiles and polite bows. A small smile on his face before they disappear around him which brings his sad look back.

"Me..." Izuku says in a small voice. He wants to tell the other it's okay. That there will be a chance and a day things for him will be better.

"The Moon is not always recognized," All for One comments. Not loudly for everyone to hear, but to those near him that know. Villains thrive in the darkness of night figured by the moon after all.

"Why shouldn't they adore me? Is it not within my right?" His voice hardened as he turns away from the open balcony door to look back into the throne room.

There the illusion of Bakugou, dressed in light garments that symbolize his position as the sun. A golden Laurel Wreath crowning his head. His sun staff held up with one hand as he proudly stands before the court with a stern gaze to those who bow to him respectfully.

Midoriya waves his staff to dismiss the illusion quickly. "I'll not be overshadowed! Mine is not the lesser light!" He proclaims. With a pained look he turns back to step onto the open balcony with a rightful stance.

Inko wants to comfort her child. She wonders where she is and why she isn't there to sooth her child in pain there.

"Deku-kun..."

"I've waited long enough now for them all to come around and though the Sun may plead and threaten," He glares back to the glass sun dome roof and back to the beautiful moon.

"The Moon will stand her ground!~" His moon staff glows a midnight shade of blue. Midoriya raises the stall and tilts it towards the moon.

Power leaves from the staff to fly up to the night sky, instead of the dark blue it because a shade of wine red. The camera of the world zooms out from the image of the crescent moon and into a large bedroom.

"Oh no, Young Midoriya," All Might voices towards the one on screen.

"This doesn't look so good..." Kirishima says watching the the sky on screen ominously bleeding a new color.

The heroes watch in worry while the villains think those in the kingdom are going to get their just deserts for not paying equal attention to the moon.

Back on screen, laying upon the bed, a large one, is none other than a sleeping blond. Bakugou unconsciously reaches out to the empty side of the bed and his hand clutches the white sheets.

"Izuku..." He says in his sleep with a visible shudder.

Katsuki feels goosebumps rising along his arm, his body giving a little shudder of its own. Never once had he said Deku's birth name verbally. Hearing it from another's mouth with his voice is weird and somewhat frustrates him. He brings his hand over to rub along his arm as he stares at the screen with narrowed eyes.

"Wake the fuck up..." He merely grits out to his other self.

Midoriya is shown again who looks up like he's finally confessing his bottled feelings to the moon. "It comes to this at last I will no longer yield the sky. If they cannot love but one prince alone~"

Sir Nighteye is shown peeking into the open throne room where he can visibly see Midoriya in his inner turmoil.

"See the moon is raising she has come to came the heavens as her own!" His expression turning into maddening one expressed through his grin. The crescent moon filling out into a full moon. "And all will know the wonders of my dark and jeweled sky!"

Midoriya heads back into the throne room. His staff glowing with magic once more to case darkness around the castle. "When all the world is wrapped in an eternal lullaby~"

The heroes and students watch with terror as Midoriya plans ahead of himself. The forgoing decision to give up to the darkness.

He walks over to the stairs to the throne and makes his way up with a smile. "So say goodnight at this the final setting of the sun~"

"Tomorrow dawns in darkness," His voice mixes with a deeper tone, not even noticing or caring for the difference. "The nighttime has begun!"

His tone sends shivers down throughout the audience, even the villains.

Midoriya's clothes magically change into something more sinister. His precious outfit replaced by a darker outfit with not a shimmer of stars but complete darkness. His cape a dark purple with shades of blue to accent.

His hair fading into a snow white color while his eyes glow a more toxic green.

The crystal crescent moon phasing into a full moon atop of his staff.

Nocte!
(Night!)

Midoriya drops the end of his staff against the platform of the throne laughing sinisterly. Green flames appearing in the fire pits around the room with a blast.

Unaware of the the green and blond haired magician sneaking away after witnessing Midoriya's turmoil.

'I must get to his Majesty, the Sun, quickly. Something with his Highness, the Moon, is not right!'

The screen goes dark and the same words appear on screen like every last video.

Izuku looks down to his hands and thinks back to all the previous worlds they've watched. Truly his life could have ended so much differently given certain decisions and given situations.

'So many world, so many faces, yet we are born into the one fitted for a role,' He thinks as he looks back up to see those around him talking about their thoughts on the recently watched world.

This is his home, his place. He smiles knowing what he had gone through in the beginning was worth it for what he has now.

Next chooser please!
