Letter

Momo had the pleasure of choosing the next verse they watch in the theater. Only scrolling briefly until a simple title caught her eye that she chooses this as the one she wants.

The holographic tablet disappears from her hands and the title of the world appears in white lettering on a back screen.

Letter

"How interesting," Midnight muses as she taps a finger to her cheek in interest to the vague title.

"It's a simple title but it sounds interesting," Momo voices her little explanation to choosing said title of the world their gonna watch.

The audience is once again given a brief summary note of the world to read on screen.

• [This world is a continuous series if you wish to continue learning and watching more about this world's verse.]

•[The setting takes place after a long war and the people have startled to settle down while tying loose ends.]

•[In this verse you'll be watching one of your own who is an opera singer who requests an Auto Memory Doll to write a letter she can use for lyrics to sing in her performance.]

•[Auto Memory Dolls or Dolls are usually young ladies who are tasked to help write a letter(s) for their clients. They are usually affiliated with postal companies and travel anywhere to meet with a clients' request but under certain requirements.]

•[More background can be found watching those from the same world verse.]

The screen switches once it finds that everyone has fully read its contents. Finally getting on with the world as it alights with a sunlight and green valley color.

A little off to the distance they can see a figure standing straight and poised with their back faced towards them. Dressed formal clothes in colors green, white, black, and notably red in heeled footwear.

The person turns around to show their face, an emotionless Izuku dressed in fine clothes that make him look like a porcelain doll. He begins to walk off screen heading somewhere carrying a tattered suitcase in his hands.

"Oh, so Midoriya shounen is once again on center stage. The 'Doll' the notes were referring to," All Might notes happily seeing his student.

Aizawa merely hums as he slumps back in his seat. "Although here he seems less expressive from the usual problem child."

The scene switches over to a dark sky hovering over a large building where people are seen going in and out of while someone is heard singing.

Then the audience is taken a look inside to see large stage where a few actors dressed in their costumes are on stage being watched by civilians as the leading opera singer sings strongly.

Zooming slowly to show the singer's face as she expresses emotions with each word sung.

"It's Mina-chan!" Hakagure exclaims as she points out their classmate.

"Whoa... Her voice is so powerful!" Jirou compliments with a grin.

The camera moves over to the conductor, a man well in age who vaguely resembles someone most people could not pin point. Waving his wand to have the musicians follow the powerful rhythm.

By the end of Mina's performance, everyone had stood up from their seats to give a standing obviation.

The audience in the theater can't help but clap for her as well for the short performance aside from some of the villains.

The conductor turning around slightly to look into the crowd, mainly where Izuku is sitting before following to stand up then applauding after seeing those around him doing so.

"Our narrator, I suppose." Nezu chuckles watching the orchestra conductor carefully.

"The first time I ever saw him, it was like looking at a doll." The conductor's thoughts are voiced while Mina bows to the audience on stage. "He certainly didn't look like someone who could write the kind of letter that Mina needed."

Izuku show again up close, still clapping along with a neutral expression.

"So Ashido needs Izuku to write a letter for him?" Todoroki slowly fills out in question looking to Iida.

The strict rep nods as he so far can tell from the story notes. "The main characters for this world seem to be Midoriya-kun and Ashido-kun. To create a letter of some kind per her request."

The screen darkens and the setting has changed again to apartment home. Simple but decorated to the standards of the Mina there while mixed in with a few items that seem not like her.

Izuku is shown taking a bow with his right hand placed over his heart. "I am pleased to make your acquaintance. If it is your wish, I will travel anywhere to meet your request. Auto Memory Doll, Izuku Midoriya, at your service."

"Deku-kun really looks like doll in this world," Uraraka says aloud in awe for her best friend.

Those around her couldn't help but agree. The way the other Izuku on screen speaks so calmly and well mannerly. His etiquette as he bows to Mina on screen is so fluid like a gentleman.

Least anyone forget the way his emerald colored eyes seem to shine vibrantly in the natural light coming through the window. Holding subtle emotions behind his neutral expression.

Mina looks at Izuku with a grin, "Oh! So you're the one that everyone is talking about."

"I'm sorry?" Izuku at least expresses small tone of confusion to her words.

"I have an acquaintance who works at your postal company. You're very well popular amongst those wishing to have a letter written by a high class Doll." Mina walks around Izuku to take a seat at the table behind them.

"I see..." Izuku responds simply. Once seated she offers the other seat for him to sit down too which he accepts. He takes out his typewriter from his case and gently places it on the table.

"So my son is a popular Doll who writes letters for people there upon request?" Inko says a little unsure as she turns her head slightly to look at Mitsuki.

"That seems so Inks."

Mina leans forward with her chin resting on her hands. "So how was my performance last night? Kise was the one who invited you."

"Kise?" Spinner questions not sure who that name belongs to on screen.

"It's probably the conductor of the orchestra," Mr. Compress assumes in his seat watching the screen curiously.

"Yes." The Doll nods curtly. "It was my first time seeing an opera. But your voice was deeply moving."

Mina's face held surprise be looking glad that Izuku enjoyed her music. "Really?"

"But..." Izuku said catching the singer by surprise again. "The lyrics were antiquated, so it was difficult to understand."

"Anti-what?" Kaminari says confused.

"It's antiquated dunceface. It means outdated," Katsuki grounds out with a huff.

The singer's face looks serious as she takes the male's words in.

"Ooo someone seems to take critic a little hard on themselves," Kaminari teases his friend while said girl pinches his cheeks.

"Hey Denks, we talked about running that mouth of yours before." Mina adds a little pressure to the pinch where the electric user concedes defeat by saying he'll never do it again. "That's what I thought," she said with a smile. "Besides, that's not me here. I'll take any criticism anyone's got for me!"

"What exactly was your song about?"

Mina sighs as she deflects from the question. "Well Izuku, let's get down to business."

Izuku doesn't seem to mind the change in topic as he gets ready to write for Mina. He brings his gloved hand to his mouth and pulls it off.

The audience is surprised when they see his hands are metal prosthetics.

"Oh Izuku," Inko said sympathetic for her child.

"My boy..." All Might voices to himself quietly.

"How did he even lose his hands?"

"Let us begin with the important information. First, please tell me the name of the recipient." Izuku asks politely. "The sender is Mina Ashido, correct?"

Mina shakes her head, "I'm not sending it in my name. Use the name Pinky."

"My Hero Name?" Mina points at herself saying so.

"A pseudonym?" Izuku questions to his client.

Again the paint haired woman shakes her head. "No, certainly not. And the recipient is Heroine Pinky's lover. His name is Red. He went off to war..." Mina slowly comes to a stop as there comes a lost look in her golden color eyes. "And... Has yet to return."

"Oh damn... Mina," Kirishima said looking at his friend sadly for her other self on screen who looks far off.

The pink haired student covers her mouth already thinking up what might be the reason for this letter sadly.

Izuku looks at his client for a moment before saying, "Understood. To Mr. Red. What is his surname? What is his address?"

"It doesn't matter," She said seriously as she picks up a pink carnations from the flower vase on the table. "It's the contents that counts."

"Understood, then let us move to the body of the letter. I look forward to working with you," He bows to her respectfully in his seat.

"Yes, likewise."

Izuku's hands hover over the keys of his typewriter in waiting while Mina is silent while holding the pink flower in her hand. Neither of the two speaking or making a move like they had been put on pause.

"Did the screen freeze?" Mineta asks since neither of the people on the screen didn't seem to move an centimeter.

The green haired doll looks up from the keys to his client. "Mina? Shall we start on the body?

"That's right," she responds curtly. "You think something up. Thinking of Red, who went to war and hasn't returned. A love letter from his lover, Pinkey." She points the flower up at the young man's face like a wand of authority.

"But—" Izuku is push back in her seat when Mina pushes her flower a little more forward to his face.

"Auto Memory Doll." The pink flower fills the screen before being pulled away to shown the woman's serious face. "Writing this letter is your job."

Izuku is shown to not express any other emotion as he responds. "Understood."

Mina returns to her seat not facing away from him. Eyes on her pink carnations between her hands.

"This Mina is a little bossy," Asui comments with an unsure take on how to feel about her friend there.

"I mean she does expect Midoriya to write the letter by himself instead of just helping him with it." Ojiro's tail taps against the side of his leg uncomfortably with how the story is going on in this world.

In the silence, Izuku types a letter for the pink haired woman without complaint. The sound of him typing away while the sky is shown with its moving clouds briefly.

"I have finished," Izuku reports.

Without looking, Mina tells him to read it. Izuku pulls out the paper from the typewriter to read it aloud to her.

"My dearest Red, I currently await your return from outside the battle zone."

Mina's eyes widen in surprise hearing him read the letter.

"Oh my," Midnight voices hearing the wording the tone Izuku on screen had used for the letter for Mina.

"I am unsure of your safety."

Mina quickly turns her head to look at him with her mouth agape. A little sweat forming at the side of her face.

"Doesn't this sound-"

"Please write as soon as possible." Izuku is show holding the paper in front of him with a straight expression. "From Pinkey." He looks up to meet his client's face.

The opera singer tries to form words before finally finding her voice to speak. "What's with the military style writing?"

"You asked me to come up with something by myself."

Izuku had to facepalm for himself on screen for his words. He didn't know why exactly he wrote in such a military like style enough to justify himself. 'Wait a minute...' he thinks to himself. 'Was I part of the military before this?' He looks at his other self with wide eyes. 'Is that how I lost my hands?'

Mina hunches over with her hand on her forehead. A heavy sigh leaving from her while Izumi looks a bit unsure of what he did.

"Are you unsatisfied with my work?" Izuku sounds unsure of himself now like he has fails his mission.

"A love letter, that when read, makes a woman yearn and every man's heart pound." Mina's yellow eyes lost with a sadness swimming behind them. "That's what I'm looking for."

Izuku doesn't seem to understand. "Yearn? Heart pound?"

"I mean she's not wrong everybody," Midnight has to point out since it's basically in the love department type of thing.

Hakagure makes a swooning pose with her uniform. "Love letters are meant to draw feelings like that, I agree."

"That's right," Mina said nodding her head a little. She looks back at Izumi again. "Write it again, please."

Their figures fade off the seats of the table and the lighting is one of the sunset sky through the windows.

Mina is by the window watching Izuku walking away from her apartment building. Her arms hugging herself around the torso in comfort as her yellow eyes drift off to the framed photo on the windowsill beside her. A glare on the glass frame obscuring the face next to Mina's in the photograph.

"Eijiro..."

"It's fucking Shitty Hair and Raccoon Eyes!" Katsuki exclaims as he points to his seat mates.

"Katsuki! Watch your fucking language and don't point!"

"Shut it old hag!"

"Both of you clam down please," Masaru voices calmly as he tries to settle his explosive wife and son.

The heroes and students mentally wish him well in his continued effort.

However, the main students seen to be a couple in screen were blushing a tomato shade of read out of awkwardness, embarrassment, and fully flustered.

The days seem to pass them by as letter after letter is written. Mina doesn't seem content with any of them even though Izumi has shown to go out of his way to learn different voices of love through romance stories. Finding references in libraries and bookshops.

Buts it always wrong.

"Wrong."

"This is too much."

"What era is this from? I'd like it to be more modern."

Until one day, Izuku leaves the theater after failing another attempt at his letter for Mina, he runs into the conductor.

"Oh, well hello there, Izuku."

Izuku acknowledges him. "Hello Kise, it's been awhile."

"Oh! It's the orchestra conductor again!" Momo muses happy to see the old guy. Seriously the old man had these grampa-ish vibes.

The two meet halfway and the older man's face is a gentle smile. "I hear Mina's request has proven difficult."

"Yes," The younger replies. "No matter how I write the letter, she is not pleased."

The students, heroes, and Toga did a little encouraging cheer that Doll Izuku would be able to write the best letter for Mina.

The man hums with knowing. "Well, of course Mina's new opera depends on this."

Izuku looks up at him like he's head something entirely new. "New opera? What does that have to do with the letter?"

"You haven't heard? Mina doesn't need a letter, but song lyrics. The lyrics to the aria sung at the climax of her new opera." Mr. Kirishima digs into his bag to pullout large paper of sheet music to show him. "See, this song."

Jirou thought it was weird at first on why the opera singer needed a letter and used those different names. She was starting to understand this must be for one of Mina's operas. "So she needed lyrics..."

Izuku stares at the paper with something in her eyes that say this changes things for them.

The point of day transitions to show a sign of a postal company with the abbreviation of UA with a wreath and two hands holding each other.

"What?" The familiar voice of Aizawa is heard in the theater.

Inside the building, in a room with Izuku are five other people. Midnight, Kendo, Ibara, Kaminari, and Aizawa.

"Oh! Shōta's up!" Present Mic exclaims cheerfully.

"Some of the students from Class B are here too guys!" Sato points out as well.

"She wants you to write song lyrics?" The man said looking at the sheet music to the aria of the opera Mina want to do.

"According to Kise, the conductor, that was the intention all along."

Aizawa gives a heavy sigh. "How strange."

Midnight looks at Aizawa a bit accusing. "You didn't realize that when you took the job on?"

"It was a request from the Postal Association, so I was convinced it was letter writing." He sighs as he leans back in his seat tiredly.

While they talked, Ibara picks up the sheet music to look it over with interest. "Oh, in this scene, the heroine reads out the love letter she wrote."

Midnight see the point. "Ah, I see. So the request for a love letter was technically correct."

"So what are you going to do?" Kendo asks towards the silent Izuku who is thinking on how to proceed.

"While I did accept the request... the work is not in my job description." Izuku tells them bluntly and is surly unsure with how to deal with the matter at hand.

Kaminari comes into the conversation saying, "Well, in that case, it's easy, isn't it?"

"What is?" Midnight asks.

"It doesn't have to be a letter. Together we can write up some amazing lyrics!"

"Kaminari..."

"Come in Jirou, I can make lyrics too!" Kaminari whines to the girl who makes a face at him with suspicion.

Midnight sighs while Aizawa takes over the conversation. "It's not that simple as saying it."

"What she said," Jirou agrees.

Kaminari looks hopeful. "Don't worry, just look at how many excellent dolls we have here!" He looks to Ibara with a excited grin. "Right?"

She area looks away shyly while Kaminari leans back in his seat. "And I mean, I'm not too shabby at writing poetry myself..."

Aizawa doesn't look aboard with the idea and neither does Midnight. "Oh, please."

Some people in the audience can't help but laugh a bit at Aizawa's response.

"Would that be," Izuku voices a bit hopeful. "Actually possible?" Although he still has his neutral face looking at Kaminari when he asks. Midnight, standing beside him, looks sorry that Kaminari even brought the idea up for Izuku to even consider.

"You'll never know until you try. Right?" He gives a thumbs up in encouragement.

So the group tries to work on the lyrics together while the clock ticks away near them.

Aizawa rubs at the back of his head with an unsure expression settled on his face while all of them are seated around the table. "Well, I tried. It's more like a haiku... Is it okay?"

"Oh I gotta hear this!" Midnight exclaims with a looks so gleeful while the other teachers agree with nods to hear what their tired colleague created.

"Let me sleep..."

Midnight looks over Izuku's shoulder to read Aizawa's work aloud. "As I await you. The wind blowing through the wharf. Lonely and chilly." She looks back up at them. "A bit short, no? I don't think it would work as lyrics."

"It's kinda cute?" Koda comments shyly in his seat.

"My turn!" Kaminari exclaims holding up his piece. "Behold, my masterpiece."

Izuku takes the paper and shows it to Midnight to read. "I'm in hell with no hope. Without you I have no future." Midnight has to stop right there to pick at Kaminari. "What the heck is this?"

"It's the cries of my soul!" The blond muses to the women proudly. "Really echoes in the heart, right?" His words get everyone to sigh once more. "What's that suppose to mean?!"

"Kaminari!"

"Dude!"

"Bro!"

The Bakusquad, minus Bakugou, exclaims as they looks at their blond squad member with wide eyes of are-you-for-real? terms.

Izumi looks at the paper and efficiently says, "I'll take this one too."

Kaminari grins, "See? He gets it."

"Are you sure?" Midnight asks carefully and unsure if she should be letting Izumi try to use that piece to help him with the song lyrics he needs to write.

"Yes." He bows to the group politely and Midnight is happy to let him with the way he seems eager with the help.

"Izuku, are you sure these are okay?" She asks one more time.

"Yes. I received many weapons." Izuku concludes.

Midoriya also takes this as evidence that his other self has taken part in the military. Although he does wonder from when to now. What age did he start fighting?

By the next morning, Izuku returns to the theaters with a small stack of papers of different song lyrics all made from the help of his friends and coworkers.

Kise looks over each and everyone of them with a small smile. He then looks up Izuku with a soft smile. "This was all written by you? They're very diverse..."

"I had help from my coworkers at the company," The doll truthfully replies with his hands held together in front of him.

The older man eyes widen slightly before going back to soften. "But we requested you to write for us."

Izuku closes his eyes in resignation. "I'm apologize but writing lyrics is not within my job description." His emerald eyes open back up to see Kise hum in acknowledgement to his response.

"Midoriya shounen is right, even though he can write , he doesn't really have the skill to write lyrics if he can't help it." All Might rubs at his chin watching the interaction between the two on screen.

The man sets the paper back down on the pile and pulls his hand back to his side. He comes around the table to walk pass Izuku to open the door.

"You wouldn't mind if I took a moment of your time? I'd like to show you something."

"Seems he'll try to show Midoriya a reason on why the lyrics he's suppose to write for Ashido are so important." Nezu has this knowledgeable gleam in his eyes that make his seat mates take a scoot away.

Although the blank expression, Izuku follows him none the less with swimming curiosity. Kise takes him down the hall from the room they were in. Opening another door that seem to lead into the backstage of the theater.

The two of them walk up the side stairs to the stage where they can see Mina practicing on stage with a few other actors. The young lady stops the act to have the group gather to relay how she wants the scene to be done again with changes.

"We need to make an impact on these parts to build up to the climax. Expressions are vital for the audience to understand Pinky's determination before relaying her letter out loud." Mina's words are stern but accepting of her fellow colleagues on stage with her as the two males from the dark side of the stage hidden between the drawn back curtains.

Izuku watches her carefully as Mina once again rehearsed the same scene. Once again putting her all like this was the real performance.

"The war with All for One's army is over! It is time to rebuild and settle down, look forward to the future!" Mina boldly says her lines as she walks passed the actors playing the villagers. "We must not let the past hold us back, but let us strive to be better for the next generation and for those who had risk their lives to let this peace happen! Their efforts were not in vain!"

The teachers and principle nod to her words in some understanding. No matter where on the ranks of a hero is, their efforts will not be in vain as other heroes will pick up the work and make sure they fulfill what has been left behind.

An example would be the power of One for All, although to those only of those who know of its power and story.

"Izuku, Mina is very passionate in her work as you can see. She strives to make an impact on people with her work which is why she wants to make this new opera." Kise is shown to be focused on watching Mina practice hard on the stage wheee she stands. "Mina wanted her new opera to express an emotion she seems frozen in time with. To help her, I asked Doll instructor personally for recommendation."

"Recommendation?" Izuku says as he turns his head slightly to look at Kise.

He looks back at him and nods. "Yes, Mrs. Chiyo recommend you."

Recovery Girl hums in her seat next to Grand Torino. She had been silent for most of the worlds shown so far, to observe, but she didn't think she'd show in one.

"Seems you're an instructed their Chiyo."

"It would seem so as a figure to help instruct young Midoriya there."

Doll Izuku looks down to the wooden floor as he thinks back to his former Doll instructor. The old woman was very stern but kind as she verbally told her she sees him to be a very optimal doll in the future.

Mina is shown kneeling down holding a closed letter against her chest. Eyes closed as if she is praying for something Izuku could not yet understand.

Izuku is shown staring and nods once.

"I hope you could understand how much this letter means to her..."

A transition in scene shows Mina leaving the theater after a hard day of rehearsal. Only to stop when she notices another pair of footsteps following behind her. She looks back to find Izuku standing there in his usual stance with some determination in his eyes.

"Oh, Izuku. Why are you following me?"

"I would like to understand you."

"Of course Midoriya-kun would do this," Iida said with a knowledgeable smile.

Izuku flushes with embarrassment at his friend's words.

Mina's face scrunches up in confusion looking at the doll. "What? What are you talking about?" Not to far the doors to the theater open to show Kise coming out halfway and noticing the two.

"A good Doll takes meaning behind words, the speaker's true feelings, and lifts them up." Izuku is straight to the point.

Mina is still consumed looking at the greenet. "And that's why you're following me?"

Izuku nods, "Yes."

Mina takes a step back before turning around to run away from Izuku.

The young man expresses a slight surprise before running after her to not lose sight of her. "I need to in order to accomplish my mission!"

The U.A faculty present at the moment shake their head knowing this would be something their green haired student would do just to help the other.

Internally even the real Midoriya can't help but agree guiltily.

Kise is shown up close with a like of soft surprise before it forms into a knowing smile.

Going back to Mina, she is panting and out of breath as she comes to a stop. Izuku walks up behind her, not even showing the slightest bit of tiredness.

"Do you ever..." Mina pants. "Get tired?"

"During training I've even walked over 20 miles in full equipment, sometimes even farther than normal," Izuku tells her while the lady catches her breath.

Mina looks back at Izuku slowly with calm. "You were in the army?"

"Yes."

"So I was in the army there..." Izuku mumbles quietly staring at the screen.

Mina looks down sadly. "And you made it back, huh?"

"Yes."

Mina looks like she's thinking to herself the way her golden eyes shift back and forth from the ground to Izuku. "You too have someone important to you, right?" She readjusts her bag on her shoulder.

Izuku looks to take a slight intake of breath. "Yes."

She looks back at Izuku, "Just being able to see that person again... She's glad to have you back, isn't she?"

"Is this a love interest I'm hearing about our dear Izuku?!" Mina teases her classmate who flushed red in his flustered state as the topic is brought up.

"Hold on, we don't know yet!" Uraraka tries to defend.

Their conversation cut short as the scene continues.

It's Izuku's turn to looks down to the pavement unsure. "I do not know." Mina looks a bit surprised at his words. "He was my superior. I lost track of him in the midst of the last battle." Her expression a little guilty for the assumption. "What is he doing? Where is he at?"

"He?" Someone whispers in question.

Inko covers her mouth feeling bad for her son there on screen. Her other baby seems to have gone through a lot before getting to where he is now. "Oh Izuku..."

Izuku's hooded eyes are shown with sadness and longing. "I have not been told."

"I apologize," Mina said looking at Izuku with a change. "You can follow me. This way..."

Izuku follows after her quietly as she leads the way. An overview of the land is shown beautifully lit up during the night. Izuku and Mina going down a few stone winding paths up to a ledge park area.

"This is the first place," Mina started as they approached a large tree stationed by the ledge. "I came with him... with Eijiro.

"Is he the one who went off to war and never came back?"

"Yes." Mina pauses and says, "My lover." She glances back at Izuku with a little smile on her lips. "He was Kise's son."

"Kise's...?"

"So the conductor guy was my dad over in that world... huh..." Kirishima voices softly with a sad smile. He felt bad for his other self. No doubt that the other had been gone for so long that it's evident he will not be retuning home anymore.

Mina hums as she comes closer to the tree. Setting bag down to sit at the base of the large trunk. "Eijiro and I came here on the day he left for the war as well."

The scene shifts to the other side of the tree where dark transitions to light. A flashback with Mina with her lover facing one another. Mina is standing by the tree with their back faced to the audience while her red headed lover faces the audience.

Kirishima has an unreadable face before he smiles hopefully down at Mina. Although she is shown with tears in the corners of her eyes looking at him.

For a brief moment the scene takes them to Kise who is packing up. He pauses briefly to take out a locket which he opens. A black and white photo of him and his son dressed in suits.

Then back to the flashback of Kirishima and Mina at the tree. The red head putting his hands on her upper arms in a reassuring grip. "I promise..." He tells her.

"It's like they can both tell he won't make it even though he makes such a promise..." Dabi comments as he rests his cheek against his hand bored with this world.

Then Kirishima is shown facing the door with his hand on the handle while Kise grips the head of the armrest tightly.

"Promise me you'll come home," Kise tells his son without facing him.

Kirishima stops and glances back at his father before looking back at the door with a soft look. "Yes."

There is a heart to heart with the heroes to the military drafted soldier Kirishima. A hero is prepared to do anything to save a life even if it meant losing their own. The man on screen knowing he was probably going to the same but for his country.

Back with past Mina, she is still tearful while Kirishima is trying to reassure her still. "I'll come back." He smiles and leans forward to hug her tightly which she returns similarly. "I promise."

"I'll come back." Kirishima's voice seems to whisper while the audience is shown Kise still staring down at his locket.

Mina and Izuku are shown again, both sharing a moment of silence knowing the mood had turned sorrowful. It's later the two of them move in silence to a nearby train station. People getting on and off while the bell goes off.

A wall is shown with pictures of men in suits, sometimes with a woman beside them. Words describing as missing in action or died at war. There are candles alit at the bottom of the wall in memory of them while some kneel beside them to say a prayer or look at the candles.

"I said something terrible to Kise..." Mina said finally breaking silence between them as the stand a little ways in front of the memorial wall. "Even though I know he's suffering, too. Even I know Eijiro won't be coming home."

Izuku glances at Mina briefly as he takes her words in carefully, learning more about this relationship that seems to be holding not only Mina back but Kise as well.

"But..." Mina gets tearful looking at the memorial wall. "I couldn't possibly give up on him so easily."

Izuku looks at her sadly as she cries quietly to herself.

"Girl..." Jirou says sadly as she places a hand on her friend's shoulder who chokes up with emotion because of her other self on screen.

"Oh my gosh, I can feel her pain. If I just imagine it... i-it hurts so much..." Mina sniffles as she tries to dry her eyes.

Kirishima and Bakugou switch seats so the red head could give his friend a nice comforting hug. The blond didn't even complain or make any remark seeing how shaken up Mina had become.

"It's okay..." Kirishima whispers to her comfortingly.

The sound of heavy boots is heard running out of the station followed by a light pair of running steps.

"My darling!" A young lady with short dark brown hair exclaims running up to the soldier to hug him.

The blond man catches her in his arms and they loosen to look at each other. Both having faces of relief and delight.

"It's me!" Both Ojiro and Hakagure exclaim seeing themsleves on screen hugging each other.

"You made it!" Hakagure says so relieved to Ojiro as she pulls him back down to nuzzle her forehead against his. "I'm glad you made it."

Mina sadly listens to them as she cannot have what they have.

Kirishima let's Mina hold onto his arm while she pulls herself together.

Later, Mina moves away and Izuku follows her down the street until they comes to a cross walk. "I guess this is where we part ways." A sign near them pointing in the direction of the UA postal company.

"Miss Mina, I think I have come to understand you just a little. But I don't know if I'll be able to write."

Mina smiles at him with encouragement while giving him advice. "If you want to know me better, I can show you my letters." Izuku looks to her as she continues. "All the letters I wrote to him. Though they all came back to me because the lack of address."

She holds her hands behind her back. "But even if I show you, you won't be able to lift me up. The letter I'm looking for isn't like that."

Izuku seems to remember her words for the beginning of trying to write their letter. "A letter that makes all women yearn and all men's hearts beat faster..., right?"

Mina nods at his words and is glad he remembers.

"Izuku, thanks for listening." Mina walks past him with a hopeful smile. "It was nice not to be alone."

Izuku watches her walk off towards her apartment while he travels back to the company building when she's gone. He returns to his small room upstairs to glance at his fallen dog plush on his bed.

"Does Deku-kin live at the company building?" Uraraka asks even though they've seen his room a couple times already.

Tsuyu tilts her head slightly. "Perhaps but there is probably a good reason why he stays there. He doesn't seem to dislike it or forced to stay there given Aizawa seems to own the company building. Kero."

The scene changes to the early morning of the day. Izuku standing at a plaza with a large central water fountain staring at his reflection unsure as people pass by behind him

"Izuku!" The familiar voice of All Might is heard from behind the young man.

If All for One had eyes he would roll them.

Said young one looks towards the voice to find the tall, old Toshinori Yagi wearing a UA postal office uniform.

"Mr. Yagi," Izuku acknowledges with a bow of his head.

The older man smiles at him kindly. "I heard from Kaminari that you've taken a difficult job."

Izuku looks down to the ground sadly. "Yes."

"Oh, really?" He raises his head to listen when Izuku speaks his troubles.

"How can I, who knows nothing of love, write words of love?" He seems sadden and unsure of how to proceed with his job request. Izuku really does want to help here but it's difficult when he cannot understand the emotions he needs to know the most.

"I kinda feel bad for Midoriya there," Sero says lightly scratching his cheek. "Not knowing what love is and he has to write a letter about it... you know what I mean?"

"Yeah, that must be pretty hard since he seems emotionally stunted, oui?" Aoyama comments with a sad look.

Toshinori smiles at Izuku and offers him a hand of help. "When you're done with work today, can I have a bit of your time?"

The time of day changes a a seagull is seen flying across the top of the water. The sky now in it early sunset colors. Izuku follows behind Toshinori by a river bank.

"I don't know much about the difficult things, but I know that letters go where they're addressed." The screen shows Toshinori smiling while walking forward to their destination as he offers insight. "If there is no address, they're returned to the sender. Do you understand?"

Izuku looks up, "I am aware, as I too am employed at a postal company."

"Yes..." The older man muses until his smile drops for a soft sad smile. "But war is terrible and doesn't make distinctions."

"Any kind of war is terrible..." One of the heroes said and the others agree.

All for One could also agree since he has his own personal war with certain people involved with him.

The two of them make it to their destination as Toshinori opens a large double door warehouse. What's inside seems to catch Izuku's interest.

"This is..." Izuku starts unsure of where they are.

"This is a postal warehouse that was under military control," Toshinori's voice is heard while the view of the world gets a look at the boxes, packages, suitcases, and sacks longing the shelves. "It's no longer in use."

Izuku is looking around while following the older man down the rows. He stops a shelf containing closed letters. "These letters are..."

"Not just those." Toshinori looks around at the abandon building with sorry eyes. "All the letters in here have lost their senders and their receivers."

"They have no receivers or senders to return to..." Spinner understands sadly.

"That's... sad..." Twice comments in a small tone.

Izuku looks around and comes to another shelf holding stacked open letters. He reaches out to pick one up but the stack does hold and falls to the floor catching Toshinori's attention.

The young man crouches down to pick them back up, but picks one up specifically to look at first. His emerald colored eyes seem to widen in his findings.

"Love... I love you," He reads off the page of the letter. Following his words were different voices saying the same phrase.

I love you

I love you!

My dearest love

With love

From your beloved wife

Your love is... always in my heart.

The emotional people in the audience already have tears collecting in the corner of their eyes.

Toshinori comes over and picks up a letter carefully with his own hands. "Though these letters are full of the love and feelings of the people who wrote them, there is no one to revive the feelings now." He tells him while Izuku picks up another letter. "If we had an air show, we could drop them from the sky so people could understand the meanings of these letter when picked up by the crowd."

"These people... have embedded their love in letters, haven't they?" Izuku's words make the old blond smile with appreciation.

"Yes, your right."

Later after Izuku and Toshinori have parted, the young doll decides to take the long way back to take in everything he'd learned.

"All the letters I wrote to him. Though they all came back to me because the lack of address."

Izuku, who seems to be heeding at the time, writing a letter of some sort to someone carefully.

Another scene shows Uraraka with a sad smile.

"The truth is, my parents died." She's sitting across from Izuku in a setting that seems to be a classroom. "They couldn't find any trace of my parents."

Said girl covers her mouth with a light gasp hearing her parents had died in this other world. She couldn't believe but it seems in someway Izuku was involved in helping her move on as she is shown to smile in a sunset room.

Finally comes of a familiar ash blond injured, blood caking his hair and sliding down the sides of his face. A hurt expression but still trying to stay strong dispute everything.

"Katsuki..." Both Masaru and Mitsuki quietly say their sons name with worry seeing his state there on screen.

"From the bottom of my heart..." Katsuki breaths roughly while a young Izuku is shown tearfully crying looking at him in the same injured state. The lower half of his face is shown grinning tightly while a tear drips from his chin. He says something no one else but Izuku on screen can hear.

"I wonder what he said," Izuku mumbles to himself seeing as it brought confusion and tears to his other self's eyes.

That night Izuku is shown typing in his room with the dog plush sitting by his typewriter.

By next morning, Kise and Izuku are at Mina's apartment with the latest letter the doll has written to review.

"I have re-written it," Izuku reports as Mina reads the lyrics the doll has written for her. "But maybe this is also wrong," he said not fully confident.

Mina's head tilts down and Izuku takes it as sign that he's messed up again. "Maybe I just lifted your heart, Miss Mina."

With a shuddered breath Mina's shoulders tremble. "That may be." Izuku looks down unsure now with his letter. But the screen shows the letter closely with teardrops falling into the page. "But... this is what I wanted," she said tearfully happy looking back up at the Doll. "Izuku."

The heroes and students whoop in cheer that Doll Izuku did it.

Kise looks at the lyrics from over Mina's shoulder with a hum of justice done well served. "Well written," he approves. "I'm surprised. Sorry to say, but the first time I met you I wouldn't have thought you could write this."

"Myself as well," Izuku said which Kise looks surprised too. "I also did not think I could."

Kise softly laughs and smiles at her while takes Izuku's attention back on her. "Izuku!"

The Doll is surprised when his client holds his gloved hands in her own gently. They way she holds them is thankfully tight not that the male could feel it. Yet the emotions of gratefulness comes across loudly.

Mina looks up at her so happy with a tone of appreciation.

"Thank you."

"Somehow I feel light even a weight on me has been lifted." Mina said with a hand over her chest as she takes light breaths. Izuku looks down to her row with a smile that she's starting to feel better.

The wax sealed letter is shown to be be open and free before transitioning to the night of the new opera by Mina.

She's in a more formal version of her hero costume for the opera. On her knees with her eyes closed while the orchestra down below starts to play music for her aria led by Kise.

"Everyone quiet! I wanna hear!"

"Let's just quietly listen," Mina sings softly as the lights glow her up on stage as focus while holding the letter dearly against her chest. "To the wind in the same sky~"

An ghostly image of Mina in her hero costume is show standing behind her before she solidifies like her new surrounds.

"This must be the new opera story Ashido-san made that we're watching as she sings." Nezu decides to tell aloud so no one gets confused.

Hero Pinkey walks up to the large tree base alone with a smile as the winds pass her by bouncing her curls some.

She looks into the dimly lit audience before her as she continues to sing. "Even though, you are not there with me~"

A translucent image of Hero Red Roit stands beside the heroine still. The two heroes have their backs to the audience.

There is a cute and soft aww sound passing through the space that make Kirishima and Mina blush faintly.

The opera audience captivated by her performance in their seats are shown. "Already how many times, have the words I've written flown away and disappeared, like feathers~"

In the opera theater audience sits Izuku's coworkers and friends. Recovery Girl sitting amongst the opera watchers as well with a little smile on her face.

"Love is always!~"

All of them wearing stunningly surprised expressions listening to Mina sing Izuku's written lyrics he came up with for the aria. The camera pans over to Aizawa who drops his surprise to a soft smile.

"In a sunshine-filled place~ Even if can't be seen!~"

Hero Pinkey walking down a path of cherry blossoms with Hero Red Riot. Both of them are absolutely energetic while they make conversation with one another before they soon break into a run under the sunlit sky.

Aizawa briefly glances a few rows down to where Izuku is sitting in the opera audience watching Mina as well. His reaction cannot be seen but just the back of his unruly green hair.

"Even if it can't be touched~" Mina sings dearly holding the letter to her chest with her head bowed with a smile. "May it be by your side~"

Red Riot is shown sitting on a well worn cot holding an open letter with a picture of Hero Pinky and friends. The lower half of his face is shown smiling softly and fondly. Near his bed is a window with the same blue sky and the sunshine lights his room.

"Just gently~," Mina begins to sing again with her head up with a gentle smile. "The trees of the forest sing, all to gently in the rain. Almost as if to cheer me up~"

Pinky is shown walking alone holding an umbrella on the cherry blossom tree path that have lost all their leaves. The green trees surrounding them sway by the wind while it rains gently.

Kise is shown briefly as he waves his conductor's wand to specifically control the music of the orchestra for the coming lyrics to Mina's song with a focused yet happy smile as he looks up.

"I walk on the earth, that has not yet dried up~" She sings as she looks to the audience while swaying her body forward with the tune. "On the path to someday~"

Her face is shown briefly with a small smile as she continues on her way.

Izuku is shown close up focusing intently on Mina's performance. Emotions swimming behind his eyes that no one can really decipher.

From the top of the stage does silver confetti rain down onto the stage. "Love is always!~" She sings powerfully looking at her audience. "Like transparent water~"

Mina holds her hand out to curl back up in an accepting gesture. "Just as I accept it!"

A translucent figure of Eijiro is shown looking at her.

"It goes away once again!"

His image fades away before her.

Her hand stretches back out in a letting go action as she stand out while taking a step forward before pulling back. "That's similar to you~"

Again the audience is tearing up and people take the offered tissues on their arm rests to use to dry their tears.

Kise's thoughts are heard while he continues conducting the music with ease. So thankful and ever so grateful for Izuku's work. "The letter that Izuku wrote unfroze time for both Mina and myself. We, here in the now, together with this song, started to move forward."

The parents in the audience felt his words clearly.

"Love is always!~" Mina sings getting tearful as she looks back up to her audience in the ending climax.

The scene changes to show the past, with Mina and Eijiro standing at the base of a large tree. The one Mina had let Izuku come to see with her that one night getting to know her. The loving pair holding hands looking at each other dearly.

"In a sunshine-filled place~"

It returns to the audience where Izuku is sitting amongst other opera watchers with focus.

"Even if it can't be seen!~"

Mina is shown again, closer, with an expression of happiness, atonement, relief, and letting go all at once. She looks free as she sings her final lines.

"Even if it can't touched!~"

That scene with Mina and Eijiro formally is deserted but the sun still shines bright in the place with their favorite tree as in loving memory.

"May it be by your side~"

Mina stands alone on her stage as the last line is sung beautiful to the end.

A scene with Hero Pinkey surrounded by her friends in a group hug. Tears in the corners of her eyes as she has finally learned to move forward.

One last confetti falling from the high ceiling of the opera stage is shown as the audience does a standing ovation. The sound roaring applause fills the opera theater.

Kaminari is shown clapping happily, Kendo and Ibara clapping with tears in the corners of their eyes so moved. Recovery Girl smiling at Izuku's job well done while clapping as well.

"And someday..." Kise's thoughts narrate over the clapping. He looks back to the audience to see Izuku standing up from his seat after everyone else. "Maybe you, too..."

Izuku holds his hands together in front of him as that last glittering confetti falls.

His expression never straying from showing an emotion from his face but Kise's intentions ring clear that he want the young lad to find it in himself to move on one day too.

The screen darkens and the lights come on. The theater space is filled with chatter and people finishing to dry their eyes.

The screen alights with words for direction.
