Ending a Dream Crusher

"Mmm." Blitzø woke up as he sat up & stretched "Boy, this is better than sleeping on a couch."

"Good morning, Sunshine." Verosika sang with a smile as he entered the room with a tray "I made you breakfast in bed."

"Wow, for me?" Blitzø said surprisingly as he saw a big breakfast meal on the tray "You really didn't have to do that."

"Nonsense, you are my house guest." Verosika said before thinking "& my future husband."

"Oh, well, thank you." Blitzø said as he started eating

"So, Blitzø, a couple of days ago, I saw you singing to those kids at the park." Verosika said causing Blitzø to stop eating

"..." Blitzø swallowed "You saw that?"

"Yes, I was really surprised with how well you sang, you have an amazing voice." Verosika said

"Thanks, I guess..." Blitzø said

"How come you never told me that you can sing?" Verosika said

"Well...it's because I'm forced to never sing again." Blitzø said apprehensively

"What? Who forced you to not sing ever again?" Verosika said surprisingly

"It was my dad...I had always wanted to become a music artist & it had always been my first dream, but those dreams were crushed when my Dad disapproved. When he caught me singing in secret...he beat the shit out of me &...burned my book of songs." Blitzø said sadly "Now that I'm older & far from him, I still sing in secret, but if he found out, he...he'll make sure that I'm voiceless for the rest of my life."

Verosika was shocked on the outside & angry on the inside.

"How dare that dream crusher have my beloved waste such a perfectly good talent! Along with threatening him to take away his beautiful voice!" Verosika thought angrily

Ring! Ring!

"Hello?" Blitzø said

"Blitzø, this is Striker, I got us a deal with someone who can help us start our own killing biz." Striker said "Meet me in the Greed Ring."

"Okay, I'll see you in a few." Blitzø said

After Blitzø got done eating, he got dressed & went outside where a limousine was waiting for him

"Okay, I'll be back shortly, V." Blitzø said "Don't wait for me."

"It's alright, I have something to do as well." Verosika said "I'll probably meet you back here later."

"Good." Blitzø said as he was about to leave

"Blitzø?" Verosika said

"Yeah?" Blitzø looked at her

"Don't I get a hug?" Verosika said with a sad pout

"Oh uh, sure." Blitzø said surprisingly as he hugged her

" God, I missed being in your arms, my love!" Verosika thought happily

"Okay, I'm going now, see you in a bit." Blitzø said as he entered the limousine & rode off

"Now that he's away for a moment, I have a dream crusher to end." Verosika thought menacingly

Later, Blitzø had arrived at a mansion in the Greed Ring where Striker was waiting outside

"Howdy Blitzø, wonderful morning, ain't it?" Striker greeted

"Hey Striker, so who's the guy that's gonna help us?" Blitzø said

"That would be me." A voice said

Blitzø looked at an imp who had a striking resemblance to Moxxie

"You must be Blitzø with the silent O, pleased to meet ya." The imp said as he kissed Blitzø on both cheeks

"Yeah, who are you?" Blitzø said

"My name is Crimson, the godfather of this mafia in the Greed Ring." Crimson said "Come with me to my office."

When they were in Crimson's office

"Blitzø, words can't describe how deeply sorry I am for my stupid son's actions." Crimson said

"Wait, are you Moxxie's father?" Blitzø said

"Ex-Father as of now." Crimson said "I'm guessing that idiot never told you about me, did he?"

"No, he never told me about you." Blitzø said

"No surprise there." Crimson rolled his eyes "Anyway, I heard you're planning on restarting the killing biz."

"Yes sir." Blitzø nodded

"Then stick with us, kid, because you're in good hands, we'll help you in any way we can." Crimson said

"So you're guaranteed to help me get back on track?" Blitzø asked

"Of course, it's the least we can do to make up for what Moxxie & his broad did." Crimson said "But first we need to discuss the subject of payment, ya can't get something for nothing, ya know."

"But sir, I'm running a bit low–." Blitzø said

"I'm not asking for money, just a favor for favor really." Crimson said "Now, a little birdie told me that you're the family friend of Lucifer & Lilith Morningstar, am I correct?"

"Um, yes sir." Blitzø said hesitantly

"Good, now I have a list of demands for your Uncle Lucifer & Auntie Lilith, I'm sure we can make an agreement." Crimson said

"Crimson, I'm not sure that's a good idea, I don't wanna take advantage of them like that." Blitzø said uneasily

"Nonsense, I'm sure they'll be willing to do anything for the family friend who is down on their luck." Crimson said

"But I already got in trouble for illegally going to the human world by using Stolas' book." Blitzø said

"We won't be needing a stupid book, have ya ever heard of Asmodean Crystals?" Crimson said "They can give you access to the living world without consequences, have ya asked Lilith & Lucifer for that?"

"Yeah, but I didn't wanna depend on them getting shit for me." Blitzø said "Like I said, I didn't wanna take advantage of them."

"Nobody taking advantage of nobody." Crimson said "Now, tomorrow you & along with my lawyer will go to Morningstar Castle to have our agreement with them."

"...People aren't gonna get hurt, are they?" Blitzø asked

"Nah, it's just a harmless little negotiation, no one you care about will get a scratch on them." Crimson said

"...Okay, but we might have to wait until after they erase memories & destroy evidence." Blitzø said "As for me, I might have to get a job."

"Excellent idea, what are other things you're good at besides being a hitman." Crimson said

"Well...I'm good at singing." Blitzø said apprehensively

"Show business! Good money on that, I'm sure Verosika Mayday would help you out with that since you just moved in with her." Crimson smiled

"Yeah, I'm sure she will..." Blitzø chuckled nervously

Meanwhile, Cash Buckzo found himself in an attic chain to a chair

"What? Where am I?" Cash said

"Hello Buckzo." Verosika said as she revealed herself

"Who the hell are you?" Cash said

"Doesn't matter who I am, what matters is what's gonna happen to you after what you did to my beloved." Verosika narrowed her eyes

"Your beloved?" Cash said confusingly

"I'm talking about your son, Blitzø, I know you had crushed his dreams while threatening to never sing again, WASTING his talent." Verosika said

"So what? It's not like anybody would like it." Cash scoffed before being slapped across the face

"You're wrong, those children at the park loved his talent including me." Verosika said

"What!? I told that boy to never sing!?" Cash said in outrage "Wait til I get my hands on him, I'll–AAAAAGH!"

"You will NEVER get your hands on him!" Verosika glared threateningly as she impaled his hand with a knife "Now answer me this, why would you prevent him from achieving his dream of becoming a music artist?"

"Because the boy is a worthless failure! He couldn't even do a single circus act without fucking up! So I had to make sure he stayed a failure who never achieved shit in his life by burning his book of songs & keeping its ashes hidden!" Cash snapped "Had I known he would burn down my circus as payback against me!"

"Burn down your circus? What are you talking about?" Verosika said confusingly

"15 years ago on Fizzarolli's Birthday, Blitzø burned the entire circus due to his jealousy! All because I prefer Fizzarolli over him as the son I ever wanted!" Cash said "We lost everything because of him!"

"For some reason, I don't believe he caused that fire on purpose, did he even try to come see Fizz after the fire happened?" Verosika said

"Like hell I was gonna let that bastard see him!" Cash said

"So it was YOU who fucked up their friendship! Now I know why Blitzø never came to see him, it's because you prevented him from doing so even though Fizzarolli NEVER told you to do that! You also never told Fizzarolli that he came!" Verosika said angrily "I bet you did the exact same thing in Barbie's case!"

"So what if I did! Being the cause of Blitzo's existence was the worst mistake of my life. When I saw that his company shut down, I was fucking happy! His misery brought me great joy because he will always be a worthless failu–AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" Cash screamed in pain as Verosika had stabbed him in the shoulder

"It is official, you are the WORST father that's ever existed in Hell, now I know why Blitzø pushes others away who got too close: Because you pushed him away & denied him the fatherly love he deserved. I honestly pity his Mom for ending up with a piece of shit like you." Verosika said

"Oh yeah, what are you gonna do? Kill me? It's not like it'll make a difference." Cash said

"That's where you're wrong, it would prevent you from tormenting him along with ruining his life ever again, & I'm gonna help him fix the damage you made for him." Verosika said "Now tell me where are the ashes?"

"As if I would–" Cash said before a knife was pointed at his neck

"Don't fucking test me old man, you tell me where those ashes are or I'm gonna have to take away your ability to talk." Verosika smirked

"Alright alright, they're right over there in that box, you won't miss it." Cash said nervously.

Verosika opened the box to reveal a cremation urn that had the word "Blitzø's Dreams" written on it

"Hm." Verosika said

"Okay, can you please let me go." Cash said

"Hmmm, no I don't think so." Verosika said as she pulled out a match & lit it up "As you noticed by the strong smell, I doused the place in gasoline."

"You wouldn't dare!" Cash shouted

"Say hi to my future mother-in-law for me." Verosika smirked wickedly as she dropped the match before teleporting away as the fire spread throughout the house

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" Cash screamed as he was burning to his death

Later, at the Goetia Mansion, the doorbell rang & Stella opened the door & saw Verosika

"Oh, Ms. Mayday." Stella said surprised

"Hey Stella, I got a favor to ask you." Verosika said

"Come in." Stella said as Verosika entered. "So, what is it that you want?"

"Well, does that book have a spell that can restore destroyed items?" Verosika said

"I suppose so." Stella said "Why do you ask?"

"It's a bit of a long story." Verosika said

After Verosika told Stella about Blitzø's father Cash, Stella was surprised & quite shocked

"My, after hearing about the imp's past, I can't help but feel pity towards him." Stella said

"I know, that's why I came here for help, I need your help to restore his song book, so it can help me win his heart." Verosika said "Do you think you can do that?"

"Of course I can, I've picked up several tricks from Stolas's Grimoire." Stella said as he pulled out the Grimoire "Now, let's get started."

Stella opened the Grimoire & found the restoration spell, she raised her hand which became surrounded in pink aura. The urn became surrounded in a pink light before opening & letting out the ashes, then the ashes swirled around before glowing in a white light. Finally, the light faded revealing a fully restored book of songs

"There you are, good as new." Stella said

"Oh thank you, Stella, now Blitzø can follow his music dream." Verosika said gratefully

"Anytime darling." Stella smiled

"By the way, how's your daughter holding up?" Verosika said

"Oh, not well, but she'll get over it sooner or later." Stella said

Meanwhile, Octavia was crying in her room over her dad's death

"Why? Why did you have to go, Dad!?" Octavia sobbed

Octavia looked up at the TV to see Blitzø talking to Tom Trench on the news. She glared at the TV before throwing a book at the screen causing it to break

"This is all his fault, he never should've came into our lives, he's the reason why my father's gone." Octavia said angrily "I swear I will make him pay for what he's done!"
