Hey guys!! This is my first Merrell Twin centered short story!! This is going to be a anger/comfort kind of story! I hope you enjoy it!!

Merrell Twins: 19 years old

Collins Key: 19 years old

Devan Key: 17 years old

Setting: Merrell Household, Starbucks

"Nessa! Come on, it's time to go," Veronica Merrell called to her sister outside the bathroom door. Her twin, Vanessa Merrell answered from the other side, "One more second!" The girl turned her attention back to the mirror that was facing her and began to apply a light tint of lipstick. Today's your day Nessa..don't freeze up and make a move, she commanded herself as she studied her work. With satisfaction, she smiled to herself and headed out of the room.

Today, the twins were going to be meeting up with famous Youtuber and magician Collins Key and his little brother Devan at a Starbucks a couple minutes from home. They were all starting to get along well and decided they should make plans to just hang out and get to know each other. The two were excited to see the boys, particularly Nessa. She had her eyes on one of them and was eager to impress.

As Vanessa came down the steps, her sister turned towards her direction, "There you are! What took so long?" The other explained with an innocent smile, "What? A girl can't try looking her finest when she goes out?" Roni smirked at her and crossed her arms, "Well..yeah, but it's just Collins and Devan. They are pretty laid back from what I've seen." Vanessa looked down at herself then at Roni. She could imeediateky noticed how casually stunning Roni looked in her t-shirt and ripped jeans while she was all dolled up in her knee length cut spring dress. Maybe I overdid it..I'm gonna look like a fool in front of him..

Vanessa agreed solemnly, putting her head down, "You're right, I guess I got sort of carried away.." Veronica noticed a change in her twins attitude and gave her a reassuring smile, pulling her chin up gently, "Hey, you look super cute! You'd win best-dressed-twin award if there was one." Hearing her sister's words began to cheer Nessa up and she smiled a little, "Thanks, Roni." She grinned and tugged on Nessa's skirt friskily, "Now, let's get going. The boys will be wondering where we are." Vanessa gestured her hand out, "Let them wait. We don't have to be their prizes." The two soon laughed with one another as usual and finally left their house.

{Time Skip}

So Veronica and Vanessa arrive at their destination just on time to meet the Key brothers. The anticipation filled the young twin's veins. I can't wait to see him.., she thought with a smile. Roni and Nessa hopped out of their car and walked up to the entrance. As the sisters walked inside, they both scanned the perimeter for their friends.

"Hey, it's the Merrells!" Someone called from the other side of the Starbucks. The girls exchanged a glance and followed the sound of a familiar voice. The first person Vanessa laid her eyes on was Devan. She smiled kindly and waved to him, "Hey Dev." His expression was happy as well, "Hey Nessa." But soon she turned away from the boy and stared at the person she was truly excited to see, "Hey Collins!"

Yep, Vanessa Merrell has a crush on Collins Key. She wasn't sure why she loved him so much but she could not get his sparkling blue eyes and incredible frame out of her mind. That's why she tried looking her best that morning, to maybe try to get his attention. But..

"Hey Nessa," Collins greeted, giving her one of his amazing smiles. Vanessa's heart began to flutter and she waved geekly, "Hey..." Then she mentally slapped herself, You just said hi you dork! Be cool... He looked at her for a quick second, but twisted around to say, "Hey Roni." The twin beamed, "Hey Collins." And the two soon embrace in a tight hug, causing Nessa's stomach to churn.

Why was he giving her all the attention?

Does he like her?

Does she like him?

Why is this confusing..?

"Should we all get a seat," Collins suggested to all of them. Devan agreed from the back, "Yeah, lets go and then order some drinks!" So the four set their belongings and walked over to the counter to order some Starbucks. "Hello, welcome to Starbucks. What will you guys like today?" The worker asked happily waiting for them. Veronica hummed softly, "I'll have the pumpkin spice latte, please." Devan also ordered, "Could I have the Caramel Macchiato?"

"Most certainly."

Vanessa stared up at the menu and furrowed her eyebrows. What to order...? She suddenly felt a low mumble in her ear, it was Collins, "No rush.." He was just being silly but Nessa felt her cheeks flush and hoped no one noticed.. She glanced at him and wrinkled her nose at him, "Oh geez thanks for that." Collins laughed and all the girl could do was wanna bite her lip. He was so handsome....

"Ma'am, do you need more time?" Vanessa shook from her thoughts when the lady called to her and burned even redder, "Oh! Sorry, uh...could I have the Salted Caramel Mocha?" Collins lifted a finger at the worker, "Make that two, please." He looked over at her and they locked eyes for a second which made Nessa go crazy. Why does he make me go crazy...

"Okay, that will be $36.45." Veronica began to poke through her purse, "I have fifteen in here somewhere.." But then Collins put his hand out to stop her, "No need, I got you." Shocked, Roni questioned, "Are you sure?" The tall blonde responded with, "Don't worry I can pay for two pretty ladies." Then with a wink to the girl, he pulled out his credit card to pay for the drinks.

A giggle escaped Veronica's lips causing the sister to grow worried. Wait, why did she laugh like that? Is there something she isn't telling me? Then they all waited for their orders and walked over with the drinks to the table. Vanessa sat next to Devan, and Veronica sat next to Collins... This upset the younger twin. It looked at if the two were getting really close.. Did she have a chance with Collins like she thought she would? Or was it all a daydream?

"On guard, fair maiden. For I, Sir Collins shall slay you!"

"You can try, boastful peastant, but let us see if your actions are greater than thou mouth!"

Collins and Veronica played sword fight with their unopened straws and seemed to enjoy it. Nessa just watched it all occur before her eyes and felt a pit in her stomach. She glanced over at Devan whom was staring as well, slurping up his caramelized drink. He didn't look "thrilled" but not angry. Was she the only one who felt this way? Why did her stomach flop when Veronica and Collins were just having fun with one another?
